I woke up, feeling refreshed. I remember getting wood from trees, and the burnt pancakes, but I think I can handle this! Yea! I sat up, looking out the window. It was dark, making me condused. Is it raining? I got off of the bed and headed downstairs, and saw Maxwell sitting at the table, smiling.

"Good morning, Pancake!" he greeted me.

"H-hey, is it raining?" I asked.

"Yea. Be careful, its bad out there." Maxwell said, furrowing his eyebrows.

"Huh?" I was confused. How's it bad?

"Just... be careful, okay?" Maxwell advised me.

"Are you saying that I have to go outin this?" I asked him.

"No! I- need you to go mining." Maxwell told me.

"Mining..?" now I'm really confused.

"Just collect some ores, and use this." Maxwell handed me a mirror.

"What's so special about this?" I ask him, holding up the mirror.

"It's a Magic Mirror; it'll bring you home by gazing into it." Maxwell informed me.

"I see..." I went to leave.

"Wait! Don't forget to use your pickaxe! And make sure to bring some wood!" Maxwell said.

"Okay." I chuckle.

I was mining, using my pickaxe like how Maxwell said. I mined 45 iron and made an iron pickaxe, mined 36 tungsten, and 26 gold. I was looking for a way out when I heard groaning. I panicked as a skeleton charged for me. I dodged out of the skeleton, and ran. Something was hitting my side, and I looked at it, seeing the Magic Mirror Maxwell gave me. I pulled it out, and stared into it, stopping in my tracks as I warped to Maxwell's house, right next to his bed. I was confused, but I just ignored it. I went downstairs, going up to Maxwell, who say at the table still.

"How was mining?" Maxwell asked.

"Good, I guess... just got at least fifteen iron, thirty-six tungsten, and twenty-six gold. Why?" I ask.

Maxwell smiled. "Mining isn't easy for beginners like you." he said.

"O-oh..." I looked down.

"But that's okay! You got some minerals!" Maxwell said quickly.

I looked at him, smiling. "Thanks." I said.
