Blood and sweat poured down on Minoru Mineta's face as his limbs felt stiff, unable and not willing to move a muscle.

The sun was slowly setting, as the natural light of the forest faded. The long, thick tree has casted their shadows, but it left enough brightness to showcase the current situation; the small, purple ball haired boy, his clothes and body covered in blood, tears, and bruises, was facing off against the infamous Stain, the Hero Killer himself.

The killer has facing him, his eyes focusing on his prey like a mighty lion targeting a gazelle, his mouth frozen in a sadistic and crazed smile. In his arms, he held a semi-conscious small girl with hot pink hair in a messed up pig tails, and a large curved blade covered in blood was held against her throat.

"...Well," Stain started, his bloodlust radiating with every word, intent of killing both the small girl and the fake hero in front of him. "Are you just gonna stand there and watch another person die, or are you gonna call out to your little friends?"

"..." Mineta didn't reply as his gaze didn't waver. There was a point where he could've been deeply afraid, opting to run away with tears in his eyes. But no. He was done being scared, of being afraid. He would face this dead on, no matter what the cause.

The boy's silence proved to be a major inconvenience for the Hero Killer, as he slowly growled in cold fury. "Well, are you? Call. Them. Out. Do it, or this little girl will have her blood spilled out," Stain threatened as the blade pressed a little closer to the small girl's throat, moving her slightly.

Mineta, in a brief moment, looked at the girl in Stain's arms. 'La Brava... Aiba... I'm sorry for bringing you into this. I'm sorry that Gentle had to...' He couldn't bring himself to finish that thought as his gaze returned to Stain.

'... How could any of this happen?' Mineta mentally asked himself. It was astonishing how a number of strange occurrences could happen in a span of a whole month. One mouth that could, and probably will, change Mineta's live forever.

It was... Bizarre. It was bizarre how it started shortly after he was expelled from one of the most prestigious hero school in the country.

It was bizarre how it led to Mineta awakening a force that was buried beneath himself.

It was bizarre how it caused Mineta to betray his dream, and everyone around him.

It was bizarre... how he had met a man named Pannacotta Fugo.

Mineta took a deep breath, and spoke. He called out, but not to his new allies, but something else. He called out a great force inside of himself, his projection of his new life. He called out:
