Jason snuggled up with Liz and the two fell asleep. A couple hours later, Jason wakes up to hearing Johnny arguing with his sister and Francis. Liz wakes up too and they head for the living room. Johnny had almost caught Lucky, but he knew it was time to give it up.

"Hey, I am so happy that we are away from Sonny. We need to find something to occupy our time. Money is no object and I think that Francis here could have a great Italian restaurant on the island. He could have pasta and seafood fresh from the Atlantic. Em, she just has to look good and Lizzie Bear is going to have a baby. So, Jason that leaves you and me. I was thinking either our own garage or we could do something in security."

Jason knew that he needed to do something, but his brain was fried from everything he had to deal with for the past couple of months. "I think that we need to start right here and fix up my grandparents' home. The upstairs has been closed off, to keep the warmth down here on the first floor and the basement needs to be redone. I also want to make sure we have a nice secure home. There is a gatehouse in the back where we could fix it up for the two of you. That is when it warms up which should be in a couple of months."

Emily just looked at her brother. She was not used to seeing him with the guys and talking as much as he did.

A few minutes later, the doorbell rang. Emily went to see who was there and Jake was there to ask Emily out for dinner. Emily let her neighbor inside and introduced the doctor to everyone there. "Jake, this is my brother, Jason. He is the father of Elizabeth's baby. His two partners are here too to fix up our home, Francis and Johnny. We have all decided to stay on this beautiful island together. It should get interesting. Would you like a drink? Our cook left a little while ago, but I heard she makes the best beef stew in three counties. She made that and some homemade bread to go with it."

Jake just laughed. "That sounds terrific. I was going to ask you out for dinner. I will say yes if you agree to go out with me Friday night. There is a bar at the end of the island that plays some jazz and blues. It has some really great seafood and the drinks are great too."

Emily hugged Jake and whispered, "yes" into his ear. Jake sat down on the couch with Emily while the guys stared at him. Elizabeth felt bad for Emily and so she had Francis help her with getting the dishes down for dinner. Jason and Johnny went to check out the house in more detail. Then they were going outside to check out the property. It was dark already, but it made it better for Jason. He would go out again in the morning, but he wanted to see the property from a different perspective.

Emily showed Jake around the first floor and told him about them closing the second floor off till they got the home better insulated. He understood because he had his office and patients on the first floor, but his home was on the second and he had to make sure that the insulation was good so he didn't pay a fortune for his electric bill.

Francis and Elizabeth went to put everything out on the table. Emily and Jake came from the other side of the home to the dining room while Jason and Johnnie came back from the checking everything outside. "There are some things that will be easy to take care of here, but I have a feeling the security system will take a bit more time. I know we will have to wait for a few months."

"Okay. I just want you all to know that we get some strong storms here on the island. Especially since we face the Atlantic and not the bay. They can come up out of nowhere and can last a day or two. Hurricane season is not till June, but we still have other storms besides the real big ones. I heard this weekend, there could be some really bad storms heading our way."

The dinner was great and so was the conversation. The more Emily saw Jake, the more she fell for him. Jason realized that it could start to get uncomfortable if Johnny lets Emily know how he feels about her. They were all comfortable and Jake knew he needed to get going. Emily walked him outside while Jason and Johnny put the dishes in the dishwasher.

"I am glad that you came over tonight. You are a great guy and I would like to get to know more about you." Jake gave Emily a hug and then walked back to his home down the road.

Elizabeth went out to get some fresh air. She loved the sound of the surf and it calmed her nerves. Jason came out and sat with her while she looked over at the waves. The two of them just sat there and let the waves crashing onto the shore be the only thing they heard.

Jason phone started to ring when Elizabeth was ready to go inside. She kissed him on the top of his forehead like he always did to her. Her memories were starting to come back to her, a little at a time. They mostly came out in her dreams, so she started writing them down. She hoped that Emily could help her make sense of them when she was ready to show them to her.

Jason saw that Sonny was on the line. He answered the phone and Sonny was surprised. "I didn't think you had it in you to answer the phone. You need to come back. You have no one watching out for your family up here and you would not want anything bad to happen to them. But I guess you do not care because you have your girl and your soon to be son. I just hope it is worth it. Alan and Monica drive to work every day and car accidents happen so frequently around here especially in winter."

"Sonny, you know the five families have my family, Francis' and Johnny's families under their protection. I know you know where I am at, so you could not have called me for that. So, what is your point?"

Jason figured out who he was really threatening. But he would not hurt Michael to get back at him. He was not about to have a war with women or children. "My point is I can do anything that I want. I know what will happen to me if I do, but I do not care. My family is protected, no matter what. I know that you will not go after them, but I think that there are one or maybe two people who will go after you and yours. It will not be me, but it will be someone that you think is on your side but is not. You just must figure out who it is. Good luck with that?"

Jason figured it had to be either Sam or Lucky. It could be both. He knew that Carly would not turn on him or Michael. He did not want to think about it, but he knew that Lucky might try something down there. Sam was also mad at Elizabeth for being pregnant with Jason's child. She wanted that child and Jason. She might not get them, or if she did it would be due to her hurting Elizabeth. He would not let it happen.

"Okay. I just got off the phone with Sonny. He is planning on something to get back at me. He is either going after my parents or sending Sam down here to get what she wants. I know my parents can take care of each other. I will find them someone who can help do that for them. Sam, if she comes down, then I will take care of her. I want to make sure that Elizabeth and Emily are safe."

"I want us to get married before anything can happen. Do you think that your family could come down for it? I love you Jason. My memory is starting to come back a piece at a time. I just want to be sure if anything happens to me, that my son will be taken care of by his father. I do not want Lucky getting anywhere near this child or trying to say it is his. I figure if Lucky and Sam come down here together, they will both take off with our son. I can't let Lucky win again."

Jason knew what he had to do. He will marry his love and protect her at all costs. He just wanted to make sure that everything that happens was not done in vain. Everyone called it a night. Frances and Johnny had opened the second floor and went up to bed. Their bedrooms next to each other and they shared one bathroom. It was easier just opening it up a little at a time.

Jason and Liz fell asleep in each other's arms. Liz wanted more, but she was unsure how to tell Jason that and figured that in a day or too they would make love. Jason snuggled up to his fiancée and the two fell asleep. The e time every night, Elizabeth would wake up in a cold sweat from her dreams. She was remembering the day that Lucky shot her and when Tom Baker raped her. The two events seem to blur together, and it scared her more than she realized. Jason was there and was able to calm her down so she could go back to sleep.

"I am sorry about that. I have been having bad dreams or maybe bad memories. The one with Lucky is easy to explain because I heard about it so much lately. The other part of the dream is being raped by someone when I was fifteen. I heard it was a Tom Baker, but he looked like Lucky for some reason. I guess it is my mind playing tricks on me."

Jason started to wonder about that after she said that. He needed to find out some information about Tom Baker. He put his arms around Liz and fell back to sleep. When they woke up the next morning, the day looked beautiful. There was a little bit of breeze but for the most part, it was perfect. Liz and Emily went for their morning walk. This morning the two of them decided to look and see if there was anything interesting for the two of them to do. When the warm weather comes, there would be plenty to do, but for now it was slow on the island.

Jason saw them on their second round of the area they walked. "We need a dog. There are going to be times when having a dog will be good for us. Not knowing who is out there, it might be good to have some extra back-up. We could drive into Savannah and check it out. Emily wants one too. Not that we need two, we can share. If she leaves, then we will have to decide who gets to keep her."

Jason laughed. He knew that Emily would let Liz have the dog because of her nephew. "Okay. I guess the guys and I need to get everything changed down here. There are a few places I need to go to find a good contractor. I want you and Emily to figure out how to make our house our home. Let me go see what the guys want to do."

Emily looked at Liz and laughed. "I think that maybe we could go look for a wedding gown for you and a maid of honor dress for me. We can call grandmother and ask her about coming down for the wedding. I am thinking two weeks. That will give us time to plan for the flowers and find out what is needed for you two to get married."

Liz hugged Em and the two of them went to get changed. They were going to talk to the guys into spending the night there and coming back in the morning. Liz went in her bedroom and started to get changed. She felt that something was off, and she could not figure out why. She left her room and she saw Johnny and Francis clowning around. She looked at Francis and he could feel that something was not right either. Jason came in from the backyard and he could see that Liz was worrying about something.

Jason had found out about a dog that a family could not keep because they were moving. She was a beautiful mutt. She was half German Shephard and Lab. Her name is Molly. Johnny and I are going to get her. We have a list of things that we need to get, and we will bring back some treats for all of us. I know you want to go to Savannah, but I heard about the storm coming in and I want to get the house prepared. There is only so much we can do, but luckily, we are not right on top of the shoreline. We have a lot of beach between us and the waves. If the power goes out, we will all have to camp out near the fireplace.

Francis stayed with the ladies while Jason went to get Molly and supplies. Johnny took the second truck because he knew they were going to be stopping a few places before getting her. Elizabeth was miserable. Their housekeeper came over and saw that there were more people living there. She went upstairs and cleaned out all the rooms. Francis told her that it was just the two bedrooms and bathroom for now. They were not sure when the others were coming.

Liz and Emily went to sit on the porch swing and drank some tea. The weather had started to warm up, but they still needed sweaters to keep back the chill. Liz took her camera and started taking pictures of the water. She saw some dolphins swimming away from the shore. She was going to sketch them later that afternoon. She had been practicing and she loved the pictures she had taken with it.

Emily tried to think of something that she could do. Jake walked down to see Emily and check on Liz. "I am so glad that both of you are here. Emily, I need to ask you if you could help me with my practice. I know that you were interning in New York, but I could use the help and it would go towards your time you need. I know that I am not big-name hospital, but my mom is a great cook. She can feed us while we work." Emily started laughing at that.

"Okay. I am not laughing at you, but I was trying to think of something to do. My spot in Port Charles is gone. I was going to ask you if I could intern for you and here you are asking me. Yes. I would love the chance to help you and meet the people of Tybee."

"Elizabeth, let me check you out later today or maybe after the storm comes through. It would be a good test for your blood pressure. There are a couple of tests that I would like for you to do, but we will have to go to the mainland for those tests. I do not have everything that I need at my home, but I do have an ultrasound machine. I find that quite handy here."

Liz says goodbye to her future sister-in-law and her new doctor. She knows it was time to take a nap. It would also give Emily time to check out where she would be working.

Francis looks at Liz and sees how tired she is and lets her go take a nap. He can see that Emily is safe with Jake and decides to check out the view on the beach. He could see that the sky was starting to cloud up. The storm was supposed to hit either late that night or early the next morning. The tides were going to be high and there would be coastal flooding and high winds. Johnny called to tell Francis they would be home in a half hour. They just got Molly and wanted to make sure that she had her crate and anything else that she might need.

Jason and Molly took off into the house to check it out. Liz heard the commotion and went out to see Jason and their new addition, Molly. Molly went right over to Liz and the two fell in love. Johnny, Jason and Francis went to make sure that everything was tied down for the storm. They had their lanterns, extra water, canned goods, weather radio, candles and lots of batteries. Jason then brought in somethings that would make life easier if they lost power. He bought a propane stove for cooking, he also thought about the water and made sure there was enough for all of them and Molly. He got some treats for Emily, Liz and Molly too. He knew that he was going to love his new dog, but he did not think it would happen that fast.

Liz told Jason about Emily and Jake. Em was going to intern for him and it would go towards her time so she can become a doctor anywhere. She told Jason that Jake wanted her to get checked out after the storm. Then he was going to order some tests at a nearby hospital on the mainland. Jake did not have all the supplies he needed to do everything.

Emily and Jake walked back later that afternoon. She had a good feeling about working with him and she could not wait to start. As soon as Em got to the door, Molly was there to greet her. Jake and Em walked in and she fell in love with Molly too. Jake was not too sure about her. Molly let Jake know the feeling was mutual.
