Inspired by a Teen Titans-based dream I had, here's a little RobStar fic I decided to write. :)

Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans.

Through the mask covering my eyes, I took in the beautiful figure before me, standing out in the dark gloomy atmosphere.

Rain was falling heavily from the cloudy, pitch black sky. It lashed down to batter everything without mercy. Icy drops poured down my face and saturated my hair and uniform. The city was illuminated only by the street lamps on each side of the roads. Every building around us had their windows lit up by their indoor lighting. It had to be much warmer inside them than how cold and wet it was out here.

None of that bothered me in the slightest. All I cared about was the person in front of me. I gazed with a bleak expression towards her, feeling my heart growing extremely heavy.

"Starfire..."

The Tameranean looked back at me with her shining green eyes. Tears leaked out of them to mix with the rain drops on her beautiful face. It broke my heart to see the special person in my life looking so sad. I'd do anything to make her smile again.

"Robin..."

No sooner had she whispered my ran than Starfire ran towards me, flinging her arms around me. She stopped bitterly into my chest as I embraced her in return. My gloves hand ran gently through her lovely red hair, which was completely soaked by the rain. I squeezed her gently as I held her close, having no intentions to let her go.

"It's okay, Star," I assured her softly. "I'm here for you... I'm here..."

For the moment, we just stood there in silence, hugging in the light of a street lamp while the rain fell down on the lair of us. I could feel her shivering in my arms. I couldn't tell whether it was from how cold the atmosphere was or from her crying. Either way, I refused to release her from my embrace. I just kept holding her closely, tightly and protectively.

After a moment, Starfire pulled away from my chest, lifting her head to face me. I managed to spot a tear escaping from her eye. Unable to bear to sight of her crying, I placed one of my gloved hands tenderly onto her cheek, using my thumb to wipe the single tear away.

That was when the corners of Starfire's mouth curled up slowly to turn into a small smile. My heart leapt at the sight of it. What a difference it made to the sweet face of the girl I treasured deeply.

"Thank you, Robin..." Starfire murmured.

"Thanks?" I stared at the young princess in surprise, not sure why she was expressing gratitude towards me. "For what, Star?"

"For being here for me, as you always are whenever I need you. I shall be eternally thankful for your kindness and care towards me."

Before I could answer, Starfire's soft lips pressed against my own. My eyes widened with astonishment behind my mask, but they soon closed as I began to do the same to her. With our arms wrapped around one another, embracing in the pouring rain, we kissed each other with all our love.

My heart raced inside my chest as it pieced itself back together. All the anguish I had been feeling from seeing Starfire crying was being healed. It was amazing how so much better I was feeling from erasing her sadness, as well as from being kissed by her.

It felt like an eternity before we finally broke away. We remained locked in our embrace as we looked at each other. My masked eyes gazed lovingly into her beautiful green ones. Gone was all the heartache she had just been in, replaced by a shimmering twinkle that only Starfire's eyes could form.

She smiled sweetly at me, clearly having enjoyed our kiss as much as I had.

"Thank you, Robin... I love you..."

I smiled warmly in return at her.

"I love you too, Starfire..."
