Hunk steadily crawled through a system of vents. It was beginning to get unbearably humid. Hunk had been crawling in this system of vents for quite a while, only being able to see 4 silver walls enclose him in a tight suffocating space for hours now. There was only another couple of hours left until the facility would be attacked by Umbrella Corporation. Hunk was assigned this mission in order to retrieve the T-virus from the SCP organization. He had thought this would be another quick and easy mission. Just in and out, but due to a series of unfortunate events, Hunk was delayed a couple of days and lost his entire team due to an accident on the outskirts of the SCP facility prompting Umbrella Corps to begin preparation for an attack on the facility.

Suddenly a tense voice came through the mic in Hunk's helmet, "How's the mission progressing Hunk? The higher ups are getting impatient"

"I'm almost to the containment room. I looked through this facilities database and found that they renamed the T virus. They call it SCP 5689"

"Good, you're making progress. I'll notify the higher ups so they can give you a bit more time. Hurry it up, we don't pay you to slack off," Hunk's helmet then went silent.

Hunk picked up the pace but found that the air became more and more humid as he crawled deeper and deeper into the vents.

The containment room of the T virus was not very guarded, it would make things easier for Hunk but there was still a hint of suspicion in the back of his head. 'why would they leave it right in the open when they know that Umbrella Corps is coming after it? This must be a trap,' Hunk thought to himself.

For now Hunk was left heavily breathing and sweating profusely.

He was never afraid of death, why he was death itself, but he'd had his close calls here and there. He suspected this mission would be one of those close calls. In order to get out of the facility as fast possible, Hunk would need to open the cages of all the other SCP's right after he obtains the T-virus in order to create as much chaos as possible and cover his escape. Luckily when he first entered the facility, he was able to find a key card that would open all the cages once he inserts it into any computer found in the facility.

It was still risky, he had skimmed through the SCP database looking for the T virus but he had paid little attention to the other SCP's. He didn't know what he would be dealing with but he suspected that monsters and other beings similar to those created by Umbrella Corporation would be in his way.

Hunk bumped into a scalding hot steel wall. He needed to get out quickly. One of the workers nearby had turned on the heater causing the vents to heat up at a rapid rate. Hunk quickly found an opening in a path he had taken earlier in the system of vents. Bursting through the opening, Hunk found that he was in an almost empty room. The room was almost entirely made of steel save for the floor which appeared to be made of wood which was covered by a cheap looking carpet that was already starting to crumble away at the edges. In the middle of the room sat an old computer that looked to be from the 90's connected to an old black and white television.

A flash of words began to appear on the screen of the television, "who the hell are you?"

"..." Hunk was unamused by this strange computer that could somehow talk to him. He was already annoyed with the long crawl that he took through the vents. He had no time to waste.

Another set of words flashed on the screen, "Oh another escapee huh? Hey look buddy let's strike a deal. I can help you escape and in return you can help me escape," the computer began to emit a low hum as if to coerce Hunk into agreeing with it.

Hunk stayed silent and began to look around the room in order to check for any hidden cameras.

"You know you're quite an asshole. How about I just start beeping loudly and get the attention of every nearby guard, would that change your mind?" the computer then began to accelerate the speed of it's fans as a warning.

"Fine, what do you want me to do? Make it quick I've only got so much time," Hunk said in a scathing tone.

"Look, all you have to do is find me a USB stick, there should be one in the offices around here. Then after you find one, stick it into my port and I'll do the rest," the computer once again emitted a low hum, seemingly satisfied with itself.

"And how will you help me?" Hunk said in an annoyed tone.

"Well what the hell do you need help with?" the computer inquired angrily whirring it's fans at a rapid pace.

"I need you to wipe the memory from these cameras. I'll be sounding an alarm once I retrieve what I cam here for. When you hear that alarm turn all the cameras off," Hunk walked back to the computer after having completed his search of the room.

"Alright sounds fair," the computer's screen then dimmed.

Hunk cursed under his breath. Was he really going to let some computer boss him around?

He made his way to the door of the room. He slowly creeped the door opened quickly glancing to either sides of the hallway. There was multiple workers in the area but all seemed too busy to notice him. He noticed a single guard positioned at the end of the hall. Surprisingly, he wore a uniform that was quite similar to his own. 'That should make things easier,' Hunk thought. He made his way through the hallway scanning each room he passed to check if they were offices. Most of the rooms contained a group of scientists conducting some sort of experiment. Finally, he found an office on his 5th room that he checked. Some workers were inside.

"What're you doing here? You should be outside guarding the facility," one of the workers had noticed him.

"I'm conducting a routine inspection. I need all of you to step outside for a second," Hunk responded to the worker in an authoritative tone.

"Routine inspection? Since when did we start doing those?"

"Since today. Now get out," Hunk was starting to get irritated.

"Alright, alright just don't mess with any of our work," another employee nearby stated.

After the group of workers left, Hunk began to quickly check the drawer of each of the employees desks. The room looked like the stereotypical office setting. Grey walls, sets of desks, cabinets and computers filled the room. The type of workplace that would make you go insane in just a couple of hours.

Hunk had gone through every single desk and cabinet except for one. He prayed that this desk would contain a USB. He opened the drawer and found a stack of papers along with a metal box. He quickly opened the box and found a USB stick inside. Hunk sighed in relief. He would've ran out of time had he not found a USB drive in this room, costing him his job and perhaps even his life. Hunk quickly stormed out of the room and cleared the employees to go back to work.

"Hey, what's going on here? Why did you take those employees out of their office?" a guard in a white uniform questioned him.

"I was informed by a scientist that an employee in this area had tampered with an experiment indicating that he could possibly be a spy," Hunk informed the guard.

The guard eyed Hunk looking him up and down, "Next time notify one of our guys" the guard made his way back to his post. He wondered why the guard hadn't questioned his appearance. There was some stark differences between him and the normal guards around the area. 'Somethings up,' Hunk began to ponder the possibilities of an ambush while he quickly made his way back to the computer.

"Alright I've got your USB stick, now keep your end of the bargain and I won't blow you to pieces," Hunk threatened.

Words began to show up on the screen once again, "Excellent! Pop it into my port"

The computer completely ignored Hunk's threat.

He quickly inserted the drive into the computer.

The screen flashed with more words,"Now hurry up with whatever you're doing they'll figure out that I've taken control of the facility pretty quickly" the computer began flashing numbers onto its screen.

Hunk picked up the pace and made his way to the containment room where the T-virus was being held.

He checked his watch. 4:15 pm, only another 15 minutes left. He was lucky to not run into any other guards the rest of the way. Hunk had been given the room number and location during the mission briefing. He spotted the room, cameras lined every corner of the entrance. 'So they were expecting me,' Hunk thought. He began to think of different ways they could possibly ambush him. 'Most likely gas,' Hunk thought back to the room which houses the strange talking computer. There were valves on two corners of the room which meant they could possibly release some sort of sleeping agent into any containment room.

Hunk quickly entered the room, the T-virus was contained in a small container similar to a test tube one would find in a lab. He was instructed to test the virus first using a string with a chemical on it that would turn bright green when it made contact with the virus. It tested positive. Hunk pulled out the keycard from earlier. From what he could tell from the SCP database, this keycard would open all the cages in the facility which would then sound an alarm. He scanned the room for any computers or any other devices in the area but only found tables of documentation on the effects of the T-virus. Unfortunately, no computer was to be found in the room.

He exited the room and was confronted with a group of guards with their guns trained on Hunk. He put his hands up.

"Well what do we have here. Another agent sent in by Umbrella Corporation. We don't take kindly to any trespassers," a man in a blue uniform proclaimed. "We'll give you a chance to give up the virus peacefully or we can pry it from your dead body. Your choice" the guards stood their ground, ready to pull the trigger.

'They always say the same. Looks like I'll have to go to plan B' before Hunk could make his move, however, an alarm sounded off.

"Warning. All cells have been opened please evacuate the facility and make your way towards the main gates," a voice sounded over the intercom.

'Looks like that computer got tired of waiting. Now to deal with these guys' Hunk pulled out a flash bang and chucked it into the group of guards. They had been caught off guard by the alarms and had looked away from Hunk. The flashbang exploded. As it went off, Hunk ran past the guards. All of them except for the man in the blue uniform had been blinded and deafened.

"What're you idiots doing, shoot him!" the man tried to order his guards but his orders quite literally fell on deaf ears.

Hunk shot the man in the head before he could pull out his pistol. He needed to conserve his ammo, who knows what type of creatures he would encounter.

Now to get out.
