ALICE POV

A woman stood on the balcony, the wind blowing through her chestnut hair. She slowly but gracefully turned around and locked eyes with the pixie-like vampire in the door way. The pixie girl walked over to her and placed a loving kiss on the other girl's lips.

"After all this time, Alice, I still can't believe you're mine." The chestnut haired woman said.

"Forever," Alice replied. "My beautiful Bella." The two women stood there looking into the sunset before jumping down and taking off into the woods.

"Alice, what did you see?" Jasper's voice pulled me out of my vision. He could sense the love, confusion, and shock radiating from me.

"M-My..." I stammered, overcome by the fact that I had a vision of my one and only, "My mate. I found my mate." My entire family gasped before firing off a million questions about them.

"Woah, woah, woah, guys. I haven't even met her yet. All I can say is that she's the most beautiful woman I've ever met. Although I couldn't tell if she was a vampire or not, it was still a little blurry." I explained to my overly-excited family.

"Well no matter if she's a human or something else, as long as she makes you happy she's welcome here anytime." Esme said tenderly, then pulled me in for a motherly hug.

"I second that," Emmett chimed in with a boyish grin. "One more person for me to beat at Call of Duty" Rosalie smacked him on the back of the head. I grinned at all the support from my family.

"Thank you guys, it really means a lot." Everyone resumed their activities from before I had the vision as I ran back to my room and flopped on the not needed bed. My thoughts were running a mile a minute. I knew practically nothing about this girl, and I haven't even met her, but I still feel an immense desire to get to know her and see where it goes from there. I just can't wait to see her for the first time. I wonder if she's a human or vampire? Let's hope she's a vampire, but either way I don't mind. As long as I have her.

I got up, threw on some less important clothes, and ran out into the woods. I hadn't hunted in a while, and with all this going on I assumed it would help me out when I finally do meet her if she's a human. I don't want to hurt her, I won't let myself hurt her. I quickly located a deer and drained it. I still didn't feel like going back, so I just went on a leisurely stroll through the woods. I walked for at least an hour before finding myself far, far away from the house. I was far enough out that i was nowhere near the reservation or any civilization. I was just about to go back when i heard a whine and a guttural snarl. My head snapped up and I tried to locate the source of the noise. I walked in the direction it came from and saw a huge black panther, that was obviously a shifter, pacing between two trees. I gently stepped a little closer and the panther whipped its head up and let loose a growl before abruptly stopping and wiping all expression from its face. It sat in a daze for a few seconds before lowering its head with a whine and running away.

"Wait!" I called out towards the unknown shifter, although it was already too late. The shifter was long gone. I began to back to my family. I didn't know who this was and where they came from, but something was messing with their head. I haven't seen any other shifters lately which means they're probably alone and very confused. The only known shifters in this area are the Quileute wolves, which means this panther has no one to help them figure anything out. Even with my vampiric speed, it took a while to get back home. As soon as I got there, I walked to Carlisle's office.

"There was a panther shifter alone in the woods without a pack, and they looked very distraught. What can we do to help them?" Carlisle snapped his gaze up to me and thought for a few seconds. He didn't have time to say anything before I added, "It looks like they didn't have a pack, or the panther equivalent to a pack, and I don't want them to get hurt"

"Do you want to go search for them or do you want to alert the pack at the reservation?" Carlisle asked me with a confused look on his face. "Why are you so protective of this shifter? As far as the wolf shifters are concerned, you couldn't care less about them, so why do you care about this one so much?"

"I..." I pondered that question for a few seconds before responding, "I don't know, but the last thing I want to do is tell the mutts. They might be aggressive to the poor thing and I don't want them to get hurt"

"Very well, I will alert your siblings of this situation and tell them to keep an eye out." Carlisle decided. I smiled and walked out of his office.

When I got in my room, a million questions zipped through my head. Who are they? Where did they come from? Do they have a pack? I was suddenly pulled into another vision.

The huge panther from earlier was running through the woods at an almost impossible speed, faster than even the fastest wolf shifter. Suddenly, a Quileute shifter leapt onto the panther and sunk its teeth into the panther's shoulder. The bigger shifter let out a god-awful whine and fell to the ground. After a few seconds, the shifter got up and latched onto the wolf's back leg, ripping the muscles and rendering the leg useless. The shifter bolted off and into Cullen territory

As the vision ended, I furrowed my brow. I never get visions of shifters. Why did this one randomly pop up? I went to Carlisle yet again before I explained what happened.

"I got another vision, but this time it was the shifter. They got attacked by a wolf shifter and is now coming onto our land to get away. We should probably meet him there to help him." Carlisle looked confused for a second before straightening out his features and standing up.

"Alright, go tell Esme and your siblings. We'll meet him at the border and see what we can do. Hopefully they're not too hurt." I nodded and took off to tell my siblings. They all looked a little confused, but after a few seconds they all stood up and went to the border with me. After a minute of waiting, the panther bolted into our territory, but skidded to a stop as they were met with 7 vampires standing at the border.

"We're not here to hurt you, we just want to talk. We're the Cullens. I am Carlisle, this is my wife Esme, and these are my children, Rosalie, Emmett, Jasper, Alice, and Edward" He pointed to each of us, respectively. The shifter thought for a few seconds before nodding and sitting down. "Edward, what's he thinking?" Carlisle asked as Edward furrowed his brow.

"I cant read him" Edward looked very confused and angry. "He might be blocking us"

"I doubt he's blocking us, he's a new shifter. Would you be willing to change into a human so we can talk?" The shifter shook his head vigorously.

"He's extremely scared. It's obvious he doesn't know what he is, so he's not ready to change back yet." Jasper explained as he looked sympathetically at the panther.

"That's quite alright, we'll just figure out how to do it this way. I think it would be wise to clear some things up now. You're a shifter, which means you can change from panther to human whenever you want, or when you feel threatened." Carlisle paused to wait for the shifter's reaction. They nodded, indicating they were ready for more information.

"Since you don't have a pack, this certain fact doesn't apply to you, but within a pack, the pack mates can hear each other's thoughts. You will also eventually find an imprint which is basically like a soulmate. You will feel an immense need to be around them at all times. It's practically love times ten. You must learn to control your temper so you don't shift unexpectedly and hurt someone." The shifter nodded yet again, waiting for Carlisle to continue.

"You are built to kill vampires like us." The shifter growled and whimpered at that statement. He walked over to me and nudged my shoulder with his muzzle before shaking his head.

"There's an overwhelming amount of love coming off of him, which is very peculiar. I guess he doesn't want to kill us." The shifter nodded.

"That's good news, we finally have a shifter on our side. Either way, you are always welcome here if you need anything, whether that be medically or if you just need someone to talk to. You may come here in human form or panther form." Carlisle paused, before continuing, "There's a wolf shifter pack down at La Push that you may also go to." The shifter growled. Carlisle chuckled. "I guess not. In that case, it might be best to stay on this side of the border so you don't get hurt"

The shifter nodded before walking up to each of us and nuzzling us, showing us his respect and love. Even Rosalie let him do it, which is saying something. As he walked up to me, he lingered around me longer than the others. I scratched behind his ears and rubbed his head and neck.

"Be careful out there," I said to the panther. He nodded and licked my hand. I let out a very child like giggle. He walked back out to look at all of us, nodded back to our family, and took off. I couldn't help but think about him. I hope he'll be okay. I don't want him to get hurt. Edward looked to me with a puzzling stare.

"Why are you so worried about this guy? He might be just as bad as the mutts at La Push. At least he doesn't smell like them." I growled at that.

"I trust him, and it's obvious that he trusts us too." I told Edward firmly. "You should learn to like him. He might as well be a part of our family. He's alone, he doesn't have a pack. We're the only people he can be himself around"

"I guess you're right, I'm sorry" Edward lowered his head sheepishly. I nodded towards him and took off towards the house. Normally I would start designing some new clothes, but today all I could think about was that mysterious shifter and Bella, my mate. As I sat there thinking about both of them, I was pulled into yet another vision.

An old red truck pulled into the school parking lot. After a few seconds, a beautiful girl with chestnut hair got out of the truck and walked into the school.

Emmett yelled at his video game loud enough to shake the house. "Damn you Emmett, you ruined my vision. Now I can't see any more about Bella." I yelled back at him.

"Who's Bella?" I answered with, "My mate you dumbass," To which he apologized and went back on with his game. I shook my head and walked over to my desk. I sat down and began to draw her. I knew I had only seen her twice in my visions, but I still felt the urge to draw her. I also drew one of the shifter. I got lost in my art and the two people that I'd seen today and didn't come up for a breath until the sun came up the next day.

A/N so, whatcha think? This is my first Bellice fic so if its a little rough i apologize. All typos are my fault, as i have no one but myself double checking this. I will try to update as much as possible, but i do have other fics so it might get a little delayed. If it takes more than a week for me to update, i probably just got caught up in my other fic on ao3. Thanks for reading! if you enjoyed it, feel free to review and follow. Bye for now!
