Author's note 1: Hello everyone, first of all I want to thank all those authors out there for making my time in Corona quarantine endurable! You guys are awesome. I read fanfics for some time now and this is my first attempt to write one on my own. Btw English is not my first language so I apologize for all my mistakes beforehand. I hope it's not too bad.

Disclaimer: I unfortunately don't own Supernatural and it's characters. Otherwise I wouldn't spend quarantine cooped up in a flat with my three siblings, but in a lonely, quiet mansion with a pool and a butler.

Author's note 2: This story is set somewhere in season 14. It doesn't interfere with the main plot of the season.

Another crazy encounter… or just a normal day for the Winchesters

Chapter 1

It was only 5.30 a.m. when suddenly a loud shattering noise convulsed the bunker the Winchesters call their home. Before that rude interruption Dean had been resting peacefully in his bed, resting from the last hunt (or to be more specific from the night after the last hunt that he spent with a very grateful waitress). But this sudden turmoil woke him up immediately. Before Dean even acknowledged he stood next to his bed with his gun in his hands. On high alert and in full hunters mode. Just like he was trained to be. He scanned the room quickly trying to figure out where the noise came from. With the agility of a tiger he rapidly moved through the long corridors of the bunker. His weapon pointed in the direction he thought the noise came from. He was just about to call out his brother´s name standing right next to his door now when he heard his familiar voice from the kitchen mumbling something in an annoyed tone.

With a relieved sight Dean lowered his gun and made his way to the kitchen. He paused in front of the kitchen door. Only now he noticed a smirk on his face. He was a little confused not knowing why he was smiling. Still some aftereffect from the bottle of whatever he shared with this waitress? No, definitely not. What the hell could it… bacon? Now he smelled it clearly. Bacon. And his smirk spread wider over his face. He must have smelled it the whole time, without noticing it. With no further hesitation he entered the kitchen.

There he found Sam in the middle of eggs, bacon and syrup. His hair in his usual chaotic morning style. Dude, this guy should really get a haircut. Sam was trying to clean up something that looked a lot like pancakes.

"Dude, are you playing kitchen apocalypse?" Dean jibed.

All he got as an answer was an annoyed grunt. When Sam finally finished cleaning up the pancakes on the floor he stood up and looked at Dean. "Do you want to shoot me for trying to make you breakfast?" he asked and peaked at the gun in Deans hand.

"No, maybe for waking me up at this time in the morning. But you are forgiven considering the fact that you made bacon."

Sitting down on the kitchen table Dean immediately started to eat the stuff Sam prepared for him. Sam sighted and sat down opposite from Dean and slipped him a cup of coffee.

"So, what´s all this about Sam?" Dean glanced suspiciously at his brother. Of cause the brother who was up earlier always made the coffee, but a breakfast like this? The only two other times he remembered Sam preparing a breakfast like that was when his research was wrong and John almost got killed on a hunt and the week before he went off to Stanford. So basically when he felt extremely guilty. So what the fuck was all of this?... "You didn't crash the Impala, did you? Because if you did there will be torture…"

"Funny, Dean. No, your baby is fine." Sam answered and resisted the urge to roll his eyes. He helped himself with some coffee instead. "Was just up a little early and thought you might appreciate it. And I really think we deserve a good breakfast once in a while."

"Amen on that." Dean smirked. Maybe there was more to this, maybe not, but for the time being he would just appreciate it. He was in a good mood, even though he was woken up so early. "Nice work with the bacon Sam" he added and kept on swallowing up the breakfast "But why are we having breakfast this early?"

Sam put on his best poker face. "Got us another case" he answered casual. Hidden behind his poker face he grinned. When he heard about the case he immediately knew his big brother would love this one. After all this Michael and Lucifer crap he could really use some change. That's why he made breakfast in the first place, knowing really well, that sometimes all it takes to cheer up his brother is some bacon or pie.

"Really? Another one already?" Dean replied his attention not really leaving his plate.

"Trust me you're gonna love this."

A few states over two young women stood in an empty storage hall. Clearly waiting for something.

"Do you think they take the bait?" one of them asked.

"Pretty sure. I think we added all necessary ingredients to make this case attractive."

The other laughed out. "Yes, the haunted Miss Ohio Pageant is kind of brilliant."

"I would call it a Dean classic" with a small sight she glared at her watch. "I think we've still got at least a few hours before they arrive. Why don´t we get a little snack?"

"Pleasure. Saw a Candy Store a few miles down the road. The shop assistant seemed delicious" the woman replied with a meaningful glitter in her eyes.

"Whatever you say sis. Sometimes you really sound like dad."
