(A/N): Hey, Hi Hello... this is my first time writing for a kiddie show... I hope you guys like it thank you so much. We begin... our story.

The three sat in the cafeteria, all comfortably munching on their food. Life was good for the three friends. They had had good laughs, many fights, heartbreaks, and this was the last year of high school.

Amaya, Greg, and Conner. The three child heroes had all grown up, now they were just three ordinary kids, who had gladly passed down their powers to the younger generation of Pj Masks. Now they were retired super heroes.

Things had been so great. Amaya had already decided what career she was going to take on. She would become a pilot, to soar through the skies as she had once done as a child.

Greg also knew what he wanted to do with his life, he would become a zoologist, and specialize in herpetology, a branch specializing in reptilian animals.

And Conner, well Conner wasn't sure if he wanted to join the military, or become a FBI officer, but maybe even a soccer player, he still loved soccer.

Amaya sipped on her drink, as she eyed her two friends. They were so lucky that they still had each other after all these years. "So where do you guys wanna go today, like after school? It's my day off!"

Greg sat in silence eating at his food. "I won't make it today, guys..." he would not look Amayas way.

There was a click of her tongue and she rolled her eyes, "why?" She leaned back into the cafeteria chair and crossed her arms. "Is it because of, Luna again?"

Conner snickered at Amaya, she was way too overprotective with them.

"What are you laughing at, Conner?" Her eyes looked at him through her glasses and he simply shook his head. No nothing. The girl smiled suddenly and smacked him on his arm. "You do realize he's spending way more time with, Luna than with us nowadays, don't you?"

"Yeah well he was assigned to show her around the school."

"He's going out with her after school, you silly goose." She giggled suddenly, covering her lips with her hand.

"Wait, Greg-"

Suddenly the blonde's eyes went wide, "no, it's not what you think!"

Conner chuckled, "we believe you, Greg. Right, Amaya?"

There was a red hue on his cheeks and he rolled his eyes, "oh, whatever guys."

The three suddenly burst out laughing. "Fine," Greg said in between laughs. "It's just that I've been helping Luna lately, she's having trouble with math and she asked me to help her. It's all. I swear."

The three sat up as the first bell rang, picking up their plates and belongings as they did so.

"So what about you, Conner?" Amaya smiled widely, she really wanted to spend time with him... after all he was... she blushed. "You have anything to do today, after school?"

The boy threw away his plate in the trash, the other two doing the same. He eyed the girl and scratched his head with a sad smile. "Actually I have soccer practice... all week."

Amaya saddened visibly but then smiled, "fine, I guess we can all go out next week, right?"

The two boys nodded, Conner wrapped his arms over his two best friends, "of course!"

The girl blushed smiling, appreciating his arm around her, even though the other was around Greg's shoulders, he smelled so good... she blushed again going unnoticed by the two boys.

"So Greg," Conner began, as he let go of them to go into the hallway of the school. "Why don't you join the soccer team, we can really use a defense."

"Uh... I don't know Conner, it seems it might be something I won't be good at..."

"You always doubt yourself, c'mon it'll be fun!"

Greg rolled his eyes at the comment, "fine..."

The burnette boy chuckled and went on walking chatting away as he always did with the two of them, more with Greg, but he'd always remember that his female friend was there. He would remember to include her every now and then.

The three finally reached their classrooms and parted. "See you guys 6th period?"

The two boys nodded and waved with a goodbye. The two were so lucky to have gotten all classes together for senior year. Amaya only had 6th period and lunch with them.

She walked into the room, her science class, and sat in her usual spot. Today they would have a special guest, a former student of Tarabisco high. This particular person had excelled so much in their life that they had become a professional inventor, who now worked for NASA. The teacher had referred to them as 'walking science'.

To say that she was excited was an understatement, she loved learning new things!

Mr. Romney walked across the classroom with a smile on his face. He was a typical teacher, a middle aged man, with graying hairs on his head, his eyes were brown under black frames, and a clean cut beard around his cheeks and jaw. He wore sweater vests across his medium build and formal black pants, with dress shoes. He also wore his wedding ring just as most teachers did. He would always joke with them, he seemed quite happy. Mr. Romney always made sure to share fun activities with his students. Because he was right, learning had to be enjoyed.

Amaya smiled at her teacher she was every single teachers favorite student. She was a very excellent learner. She had had straight A's since forever and she knew how to respect and treat others.

The class was quiet, this was a teacher most students liked.

"So today we have a special guest," Mr. Romney walked to the back of the classroom where a young man with spikey hair with a streak of white sat. "Guys, this is Romeo Mecano, former Tarabisco's High school student!"

The teacher began clapping and soon all of his students did too. All except for Amaya, whose eyes were wide and fully on Romeo. What!? He was the inventor!? 'The walking science'?

The scientist smiled proudly, his arrogance obvious to Amaya. She gritted her teeth and her hands went into fists. She didn't know why she was behaving like this, after all he had been a very successful helpful scientist, who now obviously worked for NASA. Yet she felt like a cat who had seen a threat.

Mr. Romney walked to the front of the class with Romeo Mecano walking behind him. The students clapped as the two walked to the front of the classroom.

The teacher raised his hands so his students would stop clapping and soon everything was quiet. "Now Mr. Mecano has a very interesting perspective on science. He was achieved things that had never before been done. He's helped shape NASA to what it is today."

Mr. Romney smiled as he turned to Romeo.

Amaya couldn't sit still she could tell that he had not seen her yet, or maybe recognized her. Yet she had a doubt that his, she couldn't believe she was saying this, brilliant mind wouldn't remember her.

Her palms were sweaty, she didn't know why, but they were.

"Well let's go over the wonders science could bring, Mr. Mecano. How about you tell us a bit about NASA, I'm sure everyone would like to hear about that, and also tell us a bit of the achievements and recognitions you have recieved!"

There was a smug smile on his face, and Amaya grunted, he was still arrogant... son of a gun!

"Gladly."

She stilled suddenly, his voice was so deep that she felt it rumble down her spine. She couldn't be unfair to him. They had grown up already, he wasn't that same boy who wanted to take over the world. He was now a young successful man, who had taken the right choices in life and had succeeded completely before he even turned 25.

Before Amaya knew it she was entranced with his speech. She knew what Romeo was capable of, and she also knew that he was a very very successful scientist, an inventor, super intelligent. But now he was even more than that.

"Our latest work has been involved around the sun. We have created parabolic mirrors with direct sunlight, all focused on an angle un which is directed into a giant reflector telescope. These ceramic concentrated lasers are 35% of the sun's immense incredible energy. Without these gadgets our typical resources would only be able to produce a measly 1-2% of the sun's energy. Now if you're all wondering why we decided on the sun?"

He smiled knowing well that his fellow towns people had no idea.

"Renewable energy, of course." He smiled smugly, obvious to Amaya that he was hiding something.

"Aside from those gigs, I also work part time as a Hoplologist, this branch of science development is the study of weapons, armor, and other combative tools. But that's another story."

The students all listened intently.

Mr. Romney smiled proudly, he had been the one to discover Romeos talents back when he was a freshman. This young man was born to be brilliant. "Now there's no pressuring, but this whole month we will all be focusing on our futures." He looked seriously, "that is why I reached out to Mr. Mecano-" Amaya stared at her fingers, suddenly being a pilot seemed way too little compared to what Romeo had achieved.

"So he can guide the one's interested in the many branches of science; he has offered himself this whole month to be around campus to motivate those interested in this field of work." He smiled as Romeo nodded.

"Now, let's begin." He walked to the whiteboard, "we will have a one week project. This week to put a little 'pressure' on you all, we will assign all the baby project. So, each of you while deciding which career you'll chose, will have to carry a baby, that Mr. Mecano here, tweaked, so they'd be more realistic; take care of them as you guys research your career choices."

The students sighed but went on with it.

"These are the rules," Mr. Romney walked around passing papers, full of instructions on how to care for the 'little one'.

He walked passed Amaya and slightly bent over to tell her something. "Amaya, I wanted to ask you to stay after school today... you're such a promising student. I would like for you to have a talk with Mr. Mecano, I'm sure you'll reconsider your career choice..." he smiled, "you're a promising meteorologist, Amaya, and maybe you would be interested in hurricane hunting?"

The girl blinked as the teacher walked away. Suddenly she felt a pair of eyes on her. It had finally happened, he had noticed her.

Their eyes locked, Romeo staring intently at her. She couldn't tell if it was because he remembered her or if it was because... she internally laughed, nope he had recognized her. His blue eyes scanned her and as soon as she was sure he recognized her he looked away without looking back to her again.

Her eyes were locked on Romeo when suddenly Mr. Romney smacked the 'baby' she would have to take care of for the coming week. While the other students groaned, she smiled at the robo-baby, but her eyes quickly went back to Romeo.

"These," the teacher held out the small bundle in his hands gently, "are Robo-babies." He looked around, "now many parents, and students, ask why the reborn baby project a necessity in high school? Well, because, trust me this has been going on forever, I had to take care of a baby at your age too. Well, the answer to this is just to show all of you how hard parenting is. It's all." The students laughed. "Really..." Mr. Romney smiled and looked around.

"Since this class is actually an uneven numbered class, of both Male and female, we have the choice of co-parenting, or single parenting."

There was suddenly talk amongst the students, "but for the sake of no arguments, we will flip a coin." He pulled out a quarter and handed it to Romeo. "Mr. Mecano, will you please do the honors?"

Romeo chuckled, and Amaya hadn't expected for his deep voice to be so enchanting.

"Alright," the brilliant young man smiled, his fangs almost wolf like. Amaya blushed, god, since when would she notice such details?

Romeo held the quarter in front of him, "heads: single parenting, tails: co-parenting."

He flicked his thumb and the coin flew through the air, there was some of the bad behaved kids roaring in the background, chanting what they hoped the coin would land on. Amaya simply sat there waiting for the results.

The coin rolled loudly across the room and suddenly began spinning at the front of her desk, spiraling quickly then slowly dying down to a slow but steady pace. The whole room was quiet as if their life choices depended on this coin. As soon as the coin stopped Romeo began towards it.

Amayas hands gripped tightly on the sides of her chair, she was wearing a short skirt, and what worried her the most was that Romeo, of all people, would see her legs.

He walked painfully slow and looked down at the coin, the whole classroom was full of suspense, if the silence was an indicator. Romeo bent down dangerously slow and his eyes locked on to the coin, not once glancing towards the girl sitting on the desk on front of him. "Co-parenting it is." He turned his back as he walked towards the front of the class and stood just to the side of the teacher and placed the coin on Mr. Romney's desk.

Amaya's mood drowned with the fact that he did not even bother to look at her... legs? She shook her head, what was wrong with her?

"Well," Mr. Romney lifted his hands, "the class is almost over, so you guys can go on and decide who you want your 'partner' for this project to be."

Amaya looked around wishing that Conner was in the class so she would share the a 'baby' with him. She giggled, wheather he liked it or not, he would still have to help her watch the robo-baby, along with uncle Greg too.

Soon everyone except for Amaya had found a partner, the teacher had indeed said that the class was odd numbered. So she just sat alone ready to take her robo-baby home alone. It would be too easy like this to get an A. Otherwise she would have to share the grade.

Soon the bell rang and all the students picked up their belongings and walked out the classroom door and into the hallway. Amaya finished up reading the instructions on taking care of the baby and packed up last in the classroom. Romeo was far ahead looking at the projects the 'promising' student's had presented. As an honor, Mr. Romney had kept special projects to use as examples and motivation for other students.

Amaya kept her eyes on Romeo, and her heart skipped a beat when he stopped and stared at one; hers.

It was a small weather station. She had made a simple anemometer, and used a thermistor. Her anemometer was made from cups and a small DC motor, the project was simple, the motors spin and a small voltage generates energy onto the a microcontroller through an analog input. Meaning that the faster the cups pick up wind and spin the faster the spin, the higher the voltage, the higher the voltage, the bigger reading in the microcontroller. Which in turn helps, in theory to predict almost immediate weather.

She stood there looking at his back as he stared at her project. She couldn't help but wonder what he had thought about the project, there was no way of him knowing that that was hers. Her lips went to say something, but the first bell rang, quickly packing her bag, she stepped outside. Mr. Romney smiled and waved to her, "see you later!" He commented and she smiled nodding. Maybe she did have the talent of a meteorologist. With that thought she headed to her last class, her favorite one, she would see Conner and Greg.

Soon she walked though the doors of room 56, her two friends had already been there and were chatting away at their desks. Conner was sitting on the table of his desk, talking to Greg, about some girl? Amaya frowned.

"Who's Daisy?" Her eyebrow rose questioning their conversation.

"Well I was just telling Greg here, that I just met this really cute girl last week, I offered her to come to soccer practice to watch and she said yes. Now I'm asking Greg to bring Luna so Daisy wouldn't be so lonely."

Amaya frowned, "why didn't you ask me to come to watch your soccer practice?"

Conner scratched the back of his head, "well... I guess I hadn't thought of it... I mean I'm really into this girl... and most people think you... and... I..."

Greg chuckled, "everyone thinks you're his girlfriend."

Conner lifted his hands when he saw her face go red, he knew she'd be mad at the nonsense people would say. "Amaya... I... It's... just I want for people to see that we really aren't!" He smiled awkwardly, "you know?"

Her heart stung, and before she knew it she couldn't hold her tongue. "And what's wrong with people thinking that we're a couple!?"

Greg's brows rose, and Conner was just awkward. She had her arms crossed and was red in the face, she was embarrassed to say the least.

"Amaya, it's just... that I'm really into this girl... and you're sometimes overprotective." He sat down finally as Mrs. Miller began her class.

"Listen," he whispered behind her, as Amaya faced the teacher and refused to look to him. She couldn't let either Greg or Conner know that her eyes were stinging, threatening tears. "I'll make it up to you, I promise!" His loud whispering stung at her ears.

"Next week, on your day off I'll take both you and Greg to buy ice-cream!" He patted her shoulder and she roughly brushed him off. "C'mon, Amaya!" His eyes went from the back of her head to their teacher and then to Greg.

"Help me, Greg!"

"Don't be upset, please." The blond boy went along with his friend. "It's just that it's boys night out..."

Amaya grunted and the two knew better than to try again. The rest of the class was as usual, except this time their female friend had been throughly quiet.

The lesson was over and the final bell rang. All the students quickly packed up ready to go home. Greg stood, slowly wrapping his shoulder into one side if his backpack and smiled towards Conner, "I don't know, I really wanna ask Luna out for roller skating maybe next Sunday. What do you say, Amaya?" He looked out towards her desk only to notice the girl was gone.

"Uh... Conner, I think she really is mad that we didn't invite her."

The jock smiled, "she's Amaya, she'll get over it." He wrapped his backpack over his shoulders and they went out towards the field, waiting for their 'dates'to arrive at the bleachers.

"I mean I had never seen her this worked up, Conner." Greg looked around as if hoping that he'd see her. There was countless of heads going on and about, most students heading out towards the outskirts of the gates.

"We'll have a talk with her later," his brows rose and fell quickly, "look, here they come!" Luna walked alongside Daisy, both girls beautiful in their own way.

"Hey," Luna walked besides Greg and stood there, while Daisy stood besides Conner. "I thought Amaya would be here."

"Naw she has other things to do today." Conner smiled and the four walked over to the bleachers, Greg looking around for their girl friend.

Amaya almost ran to her science classroom, her eyes threatening with thick vicious tears. She was debating on having that talk with Romeo, that Mr. Romney persisted on, and decided that maybe that would help her get distracted on her feelings.

She suddenly slowed her pace as the thought of becoming a successful woman crossed her mind. Yes, she would see Mr. Romney.

Her flats clicked on the concrete as she walked towards the classroom. She couldn't help but smile at the wide grin her teacher was holding especially for her!

"I am so glad you decided to take on my advise and meet with Mr. Mecano!"

He smiled and walked behind her into the classroom, she was holding onto the robo-baby, as she did so.

"Well... I was motivated and interested in what Mr. Mecano spoke about." She had been interested, but mostly it was because she wanted to lose all thought of Conner despising her as a girlfriend.

"Mr. Mecano will be right in, I just have to run a quick errand to the office and I will be right back, I will lock the door from the outside, if someone knocks within the next 5 minutes, please open it, it'll be Mr. Mecano!" He had not accepted a yes from her when he was already holding in his arms a stack of papers and running off to dropoff whatever he had to turn in.

Just as her teacher had told her there was a knock on the door, she painfully slowly walked over to open the door. She was actually kinda excited to see how much Romeo had actually changed. She knew he was very influential and intelligent, but she didn't know how much his persona had changed.

She opened the door pushing it out, and slowly the sight of Romeo came into view. She looked down as soon as their eyes met. "Hello, Amaya." She was standing at the doorway and he smiled arrogantly, "are you just going to stand there and look at me, or are you gonna let me in?"

She was not used to his deep voice, it was nothing like she remembered it. She blinked a few times and furrowed her brows once she realized what he had just said to her... ugh he hadn't changed one bit!

Nonetheless she stepped aside and opened the door widely with the little leg sticking out so it would hold open after she walked in behind him.

There was total silence yet there was a smile on his lips.

She deflated, maybe this had been a poor choice on her behalf. Why would she just settle for Romeo after bien basically denied by Conner... her eyes teared as her heart stung again.

Suddenly there was no smug smile on the youn man's face, there was two brows knitted together and concerned eyes. "Listen," he spoke softly, "that was just for old times sake. Honest."

Her eyes suddenly dried and her lips were slight parted. "What?"

He chuckled lowly, "you're so gullible... and yet you're the most promising person in this whole school."

Amaya blinked at that comment. "What are you talking about?"

Romeo smiled to the side his eyes twinkling, "well, really Romney should be the one telling you this. But I'm going to go ahead since it seems he'll still be taking a while down at the office." Romeo smiled.

"I'm giving the opportunity to one student of my hometown to be fully sponsored by me. Let's say that I'm taking an apprentice." He focused his S sound. After he said that he smiled.

"I heard there was a very excellent student in this school. So I said why not give that person a chance to prove themselves."

His eyes twinkled. "That weather station is very interesting, Amaya." He placed his hands behind his back and smiled.

"You can say it's a full scholarship, and a guaranteed career."

The girls eyes widened, she would never have to work at that cafe again!

"What do you say, birdie?"

Amaya blinked and looked to him.

"But I must warn you. You will have to move south. I can offer an estate, however, I do expect you to be clean and responsible of every aspect of your life."

"What are you talking about?"

"If you accept, we leave by the end of the month. I have teachers waiting for my student down south, and without you knowing it, you passed the test. Mr. Romney gave it to you without you noticing." He chuckled, it was too funny that she was mostly book smart.

"If you really want to be a pilot you can be a hurricane hunter." He stood next to her his head held high, he was such a proud man. "My scholarship is to help someone, just like Mr. Romney helped me."

Amaya looked to him in stun. "How will I tell my parents I'm leaving in a month? My friends!? Will I miss school graduation?"

"See... that's the funny thing, Amaya, you've already graduated. You're just coming here because Mr. Romney arranged my welcoming."

He went to pick up your papers. It's simply that you agree to come with me. Once you've settled into work, I've done my part and then you pass it on to another promising scientist. It's simple really."

Amaya blinked again, "I'm a promising scientist!?" She began to squeal in eagerness as she held at his hands jumping softly up and down.

Romeo's cheeks were flushed and he quickly pulled away to regain himself. "So do you agree to become a transfer student?"

"Yes!" She finally stopped jumping, "so everything is paid for?"

"Yes."

"Thank you, Romeo."

"Don't be so confident, Amaya. You may have passed the inscription test, but you have to study hard and decide what branch in science you want to take on. A career is no easy choice." He placed his hands behind his back again. It was awkward being her mentor.

"It required discipline and courage."

"Thanks, captain smarty pants."

Romeo closed his eyes and breathed deeply through his nose. "That's not funny..."

She giggled and without thought she placed her hands over him her whole self pressing against him.

Romeo who was not used to physical contact simply stood there with a face as red as a beat. "I promise I'll be the best student ever Mr. Mecano." She suddenly realized that she was hugging him and let go. She backed down and sat on the desk. Waiting for her teacher to come back. Aside from the mentoring and scholarship, there was really no other conversation. Or so she thought.

"I want to thank you... Amaya, you and your friends." He suddenly spoke his eyes looking outside the classroom window.

"Thank me? For what?" She was genuinely confused she laid her backpack down and grabbed at her water bottle.

"For teaching me to never give up." He smiled arrogantly and turned to her.

She furrowed her brow and then smiled holding the peace sign on her fingers, "you're welcome!"

Romeo shook his head with a smile, he noticed how she rummaged through her backpack, "would you like to go get some ice-cream?"

She blinked. "What?"

He smirked, "I am your mentor now."

She picked up at her backpack and pulled it over one shoulder, "I guess... but what about Mr. Romney?"

"He'll figure out that we've left."

He walked exactly two feet away from her, his hands were behind his back. Everytime he stepped his formal shoes clicked against the ground, their noise echoing through the length of the hallways.

Amaya felt proud, she had been tested, and it turned out she had passed, she didn't even know what to think. Would her parents be ok with it? Greg, and Conner...

"Romeo-"

He stiffened suddenly, he had forgot that she could only call him by his last name due to policy. "Please," he raised his hands, "at least in school grounds call me Mr.Mecano."

Amaya nodded her head quickly wrapping her mind around that thought. It would only be natural for her to call him in a respectable manner. "I'm sorry Mr.Mecano, it won't happen again."

He nodded and the soon stepped out of the school grounds, "do you drive, err?" Her lips went in a line.

"No. My parents won't let me."

"Then how do you come to school?"

She frowned as she remembered, she would make sure never to ask Conner again for a ride. She would be prideful she assured herself. "Well usually Conner drives me here, along with Greg."

"Oh, right..."

"Follow me."

She closed her eyes doubting her decisions but nonetheless this had been arranged by the school, for Mr.Mecano to be her mentor... even though she wanted to see it like a torment. Romeo had not been a bad guy. He was still slightly arrogant, but he had grown out of his evil schemes. In fact he was actually nice to be around.

The only thing she did hope was that he wouldn't be drive his ridiculous lab around anymore. And alas she had been right. He drove a small car, a Nissan verna. It was a simple stylish car. She knew it wasn't too expensive but luxury never mattered to her.

She shrugged her shoulders when he pulled up besides her and mounted the car. She could trust him, right? Afterall people did see her walking with him, and their school had functioning cameras, right? She took a deep breath as she buckled up. The interior of the car was clean and leathery. It smelled like gum and cologne. Something typical of a guys car she guessed. He was young. Maybe a year or two older than her, yet even the government saw the potential this guy had.

When she turned to look towards him, she could recognize those features from when they were children. He was so grown up now... that saddened her.

"Are you alright?"

"Yeah... hey, what happened to robot?"

Romeos eyes saddened, "you could say, I had to put him down."

"Oh no..."

"Yes unfortunately, these are the only "vacations" per say that I've had since I was recognized for my genius."

Amaya slightly laughed and she could see a smirk forming in his lips.

"Why are you laughing?" He was amused with her sudden outburst, he couldn't believe how ridiculous he had been as a child. For such a smart kid he was something.

Amaya looked to him then out the window, his aura was also calm now she knew she could trust him, maybe they'd become friends?

They were in comfortable silence when her phone began to vibrate. She quickly went through her backpack until she found it. Unlocking her screen she could immediately see a text from Conner.

'Who are you with?????'

'I'm with an old friend' she quickly typed away and send the message, no emoji no smiley, no lol, nothing. She did not want to explain herself to her so called friend. She sighed. She knew she was just acting bitter because he had basically confessed that he despised the idea of them two ever being a couple. She frowned and shoved her phone into her skirt pocket. It vibrated again and she pulled it out again, this time there was a message from Greg.

'Connor told me that you're with a friend? I thought we were your only friends?'

Her eyes teared up, she knew Greg had not wanted to say it in a bad way, it was just the fact that now she came to realize, that outside of them two she had no one... well now Romeo, as strange as that sounded, but it was only because he was assigned to be her mentor.

Romeo stopped at a red light and put his blinker on, she had been so entranced in her thoughts she hadn't realized where he was driving her.

"Uhh... where are we going?"

The boy smirked, "to get iced cream, didn't we agree on that?"

She nodded and pointed with her thumb out the window, but the ice-cream sho-"

The light turned green and Romeo began again. "I didn't tell you where I'd take you to get iced cream."

There was a funny feeling in her chest and suddenly the whole city began to look small. "Romeo?"
