A/N: Hey guys, so another update! I honestly kinda don't feel like writing the titans curse, I mean, we all know what happens, seems kinda pointless. So I'll zoom through it in this chapter. Also sidenote, if you haven't seen Warrior Nun on Netflix, watch it, goddamn it's so good.
Randy0273. Thanks bro! I'll definitely try ;)
Darkwyvern2916. That's a really cool idea! I have never written anything remotely like that before so it would be rather odd if I tried it, but I guess I'll keep it in mind!
Weirdhead. Haha I understand that! Rip Bianca :( And thank you! Hilariously enough I wrote that in a couple hours after not opening the doc for like a month. Dont worry, the pairing will be revealed soon? Maybe perhaps, I'm so indecisive.
SentinelSlice. Yeah canonically it wouldn't, but that's why we have fanfiction :)
PJandLGequalslove. Thank you! I'm very glad to be back as well :)
Alright onto the story, but seriously watch that series, holy FUCK was it good.
Man, I could really just melt into this seat, like if I had known that sports car seats were so comfy maybe I would break into them more often.
Well, technically I didn't break into it, the doors were unlocked and what was I gonna do otherwise? Sleep on the side of the train car which was currently rattling along at an unnatural speed?
Not really a good idea, I have the tendency to roll around in my sleep, one attempt to get into the perfect position and I would be plunging onto some gravel and wooden blocks, which I would assume wouldn't feel good at however fast we were going.
I was starting to get the feeling that Fred might have actually been Apollo; I mean, I had never seen a freight hopper with teeth that nice.
I sank even lower into the seat, if only my bed was as comfortable as this dang seat. Unfortunately, my lumbar's bliss was rudely interrupted by a certain Lieutenant. I had never really understood why she was called the lieutenant, like shouldn't she be a captain or a colonel or something? "Good evening Persephone." She said, gracefully slipping into the passenger's seat, the door swiftly closing behind her.
"Hey Zoe, how are ya?" My casual words and attitude in stark contrast to her professional and clipped tone, I wondered if she ever spoke in a normal voice, it was like she was trapped in Victorian England- minus the corset of course.
"I am well, it is odd how fast we are traveling."
"You noticed as well? I have a sneaking suspicion Fred was a little more than he let on."
Zoe snorted, "That is the understatement of the century."
I giggled, she could be fun sometimes.
We were so done for, so so done for. Why was it always the quests that I was on that awakened massive automatons or pissed off big cyclops.
I didn't really have time to ponder my question, I dove behind a rusted out VW bug just as Talos' sword slashed through where I had been standing moments before.
There was really no way that we could win this fight, absolutely no way at all. It was a huge, efficient monster, and it was made of metal. How the hell do you fight something like that?
I rolled back, nearly tripped standing up, and bolted for the next substantive hunk of metal. Talos' sword cleaved the poor beetle in half, it was a pretty cool looking car, I was digging the rusty aesthetic.
Gasping for air I wheezed; "How are you feeling Bianca?" To the girl ducking back behind the boiler tank for what seemed like an old locomotive after firing a bunch of arrows in quick succession at the angry metal giant.
She turned to me, tears all but pouring down her frail face. "It was me, I didn't think anything would happen over something so small." Her fingers unfolded to reveal a tiny figurine.
"Well, it doesn't matter now, we all make mistakes." I said, trying to not stress her out any more than she already was.
I slid over to her side of the tank, Talos had forgotten about me, and was now trying to crush Zoe, good thing he wasn't having much luck, the graceful hunter was making impossible leaps over piles of scrap to avoid the giant's blows.
He took another step towards her, but she slid down a small mountain of glittering objects, just as his foot collided where she had been moments ago.
The giant raised his foot again, only to be blasted by an arc of electricity from the tip of Thalia's spear. Me and Bianca must have seen the same thing because we both immediately turned to each other and said. "Distract it!"
I would've said jinx, but it hardly seemed to be appropriate for the situation. "Bianca, you can't, it's too risky."
She shook her head, fresh tears running down her dirt smudged cheeks. "I started this, I will end it."
"Bianca no!" I screamed, but she had already taken off towards the access hatch on the automaton's heel- Shit.
There was almost no chance she would survive in there, twelve was too young, way too young to die, but she was already too far for me to catch up, damn her.
I desperately patted myself down, trying to find anything that might stop her. My fingers brushed a long thin lump on my thigh, how could I be so stupid? I reached under my shirt and whipped out my wand. I leveled my savior at the sprinting girl, "Stupefy!" A jet of red light erupted from the tip of my wand and hit Bianca squarely in the back.
I almost felt bad as I watched the poor girl crumple into a pile of bent spoons, but it was for her own good; I tucked my wand into my waistband and ran towards the giant's foot. Thalia and Zoe were still distracting it, and had hopefully not seen what I had just pulled.
Talos took another step towards the two girls who were doing a shoot and retreat approach. I flew through the air, my feet propelling me much further than I ever thought I could jump.
My hands latched onto the lever and I practically tore it open, slipping into the hatch just as his foot came down, very nearly crushing me.
It was hot in here almost as hot as ann- not now, definitely not now; the 'room' I was in shook, slamming me against a wall, oh right. I was still inside of a massive automaton.
The ladder in front of me looked pretty promising, so I started climbing, the metal rungs were a bit difficult to grab with the sweat coating my skin; but I just gripped a bit harder and continued to pull myself up.
I looked up, an opening was ahead. I dragged myself over the lip of the hole leading into the stuffy room, lying on the floor for a moment- trying to recover a bit from the arduous climb.
I shakily got to my feet, a few feet was a control panel, with a big red button, I sighed in relief, at least I knew which one to press.
I stumbled forward as the automaton shifted again, my hand pressing firmly against the button, it recessed into the wall and red flashing lights flicked on.
An automated voice announced: Self-destruction in five seconds. I guess the button was made for gods, who could probably survive an explosion, or just flash out, but not for demigods. I searched frantically for something, anything I could do.
The hatch was too far away, I had no water to protect myself from an explosion.
"Four." I leaned against the wall, at least I would live on through my friends, they would survive and tell my family what had happened.
"Three." I hope my classmates won't fail potions without me, I'm sure Bill could help them out.
"Two." Oh gods, Bill, I hope he doesn't take it too hard.
"One." I'll never see Annabeth of my mom again, maybe in Elysium. With that thought, a smile crept onto my face, this was just another path, not the end.
"Commenc-." Fire flashed before my eyes and a searing heat scorched my skin, I was falling, falling through shadow; and everything turned to black.
A/N: Hey guys, so hopefully I didn't tear you up too much with that ending, I thought it would be a beautiful and heroic way for Persephone's life, and this story to end. It's been a wild ride, 20,000 words, 60 pages, and a whole lot of fun, but I think this is a great end to the story.
Thank you all so so much for favoriting, following, reviewing, and generally being absolutely fantastic- it was a great time going on this journey with you.
If you want more of my writing, feel free to check out the other stories on my profile, thank you all so much for reading :)
Lol gotcha, let's turn back the clock a bit, shall we ;)

Wait, my hand shot towards my wand, practically ripping it out of my waistband I yelled "Protego!" and flicked my wand.
A shimmering white bubble encapsulated me just as the robotic voice announced "Commencing." The automaton shook violently and waves of fire and shrapnel collided, and were repelled by the shield.
The room flipped on its side, and I was sent flying into the opposite wall, losing my focus as the shield melted away.
I slid against the wall, coming to a rest at what had previously been the floor. I struggled to stay awake, white hot pain shooting through my body.
My eyelids fluttered violently, but I was losing the struggle. I could feel it, my world turned to black and I fell into a deep sleep.
A/N: Sorry, I shouldn't enjoy doing that as much as I do, anyway- the story is still on, see ya for the next chapter ;)
