It was completely surrounded by the trees and yet somehow it still managed to have quite a sizeable beach enclosing it from every side, almost like it was a product of landscaping. Though after witnessing how much a battle of the powerful Shinobi can change the scenery, he wasn't surprised by such views anymore. The size of it was quite astounding as well, it wasn't just a pond that you could easily find in your average forest.

The uniqueness of the place never occurred to him before as he wasn't a particularly bright child back in the day, this very thought made him realize that it must have been at least ten years ever since the last time he visited this place. Funny enough, not much has changed as this lake used to be his escape from the academy a decade ago as well.

Sinking his sandals into the sand, he made a quick decision to take them off and just leave them there for now. That's what he always did back then. The sand looked way too good to not fully experience it and the feeling of it's warmth only supported this decision.

Naruto slowly made his way towards the water and from up close it looked just as clear as he remembered it, he even drank from it a few times back in the day even though that wasn't a smartest thing to do.
