So this is basically my opinion on the show. This is an added scene to the finale of season three where Emma is telling her new story. I think Henry notices it in the book and prods his mom into telling it.

This is where I think Emma realizes just how amazing her parents are. She is sent to a Snow and Charming that don't know her and therefore treat her like an outsider. I bet Ginny had a hard time not hugging back as the Snow who didn't know her daughter.

Anyway it's a short cute one-shot of Emma, her parents and her son having a family moment. I love those moments in the show their such a cute family.

Henry had moved back to the table while his mom hugged his grandparents. "So that's it" he muses as he opens the book.

The three break apart and turn to him and Emma's eyes widen a little. "It's in the book?" she asks and he nods. He had opened the book and it was on the newest story that was added.

"The book is magical mom, it updates itself when a new story is created" he explained. Snow and Charming quickly moved over to them and first looked at the book then gave Emma a quizzical look.

"I am guessing you want me to explain my adventure huh?" she asks and they both nod. They all sit down at the booth and Emma tells them everything.

"Wait, you're princess Leia?" Snow asked and Henry chuckled. "Nice alias" he teased and she scoffed.

"I was in a pinch" she said with a roll of her eyes as she closed the book. "I am glad though it happened because it made me see how much I value my family" she said as she took her parent's hands.

"I'm sorry" she then says. "I'm sorry that I have been taking for granted just how much you two really love me" she adds.

"We don't blame you Emma" David says as she squeezes her hand. "Your mother and I knew since the day the curse was broken it wouldn't be an easy journey but we were determined to be there for you and show you that we do really love you" he adds.

"Thanks" Emma replies with a smile. "But really...when I saw the evil queen burn you...I..." Emma says but breaks off.

Henry then stands from the booth as his grandma does. Snow hands her son to his father before sitting next to her daughter and putting her arm around her. Henry sits next to David who puts his arm around his grandson. They don't say a word but just smile happily at the women's embrace.

Emma places her head on Snow's shoulder and wraps her arms around her and closes her eyes. She finds comfort being with the Snow she befriended and realized she really did need to stay and she really did need to let her family love her.

"It's okay, I am right here" Snow was whispering gently as she stroked her daughter's hair. Emma lets a few tears fall as she finally feels safe again with her real mother.

Henry is so happy and relieved to see his mother finally was understanding her role. She wasn't an orphan anymore and she was no longer alone. She'd never be alone again as long as she stopped running and let her family love her.

"I hugged the other you when Blue turned you back and..." Emma says and again trails off. She then takes a deep breath as she pulls away and looks into her eyes.

"I look into your eyes right now and all I see is love" she says. "I realize I missed that with the other Snow and that I have to stop running away and face the reality. Henry saved me and brought me home and I need to stay and I need to love and protect my family" she adds.

"I am so glad to hear you say that Emma" Snow replies with a smile. She hugs Emma again and Emma smiles as she hugs her back.

"Your father is right Emma and we don't blame you for keeping distance with us and I think it only made us want to love you even more. I know no matter what I had to fight for you and so I did" she says. "I am so glad you're back where you belong, I love you so much" Snow whispers and Emma takes comfort in her words and her warm embrace.

She decided then she'd call them mom and dad from then on and finally accept she had the family she always wanted and needed.

They hug a few minutes and then she pulls away and her father hands her a tissue. "I guess you're an official princess now" he says to make her smile and it works.

"Well then princess Leia would like to know the name of her little brother" she says and he smiles back.

"Oh right, I guess we should give him a name" he says but his teasing smile makes her roll her eyes. He stands up and makes the announcement and Emma just smiles hearing the name.

"It's nice to meet you Neal" she says as she gently takes her brother's hand. She really was home again where she belonged.

Like I said a short but sweet little added scene. I really love how she told Killian that she needed to stop running. I think Emma knew her mom did love her but she felt like she had to punish her for abandoning her but the shock of seeing a Snow White who didn't love her was too much for Emma to bare. She'd rather live in the world where her parents love her and want to hug her then without and I love that tender moment.
