You know, I had something I wanted to fix about the ANs in the rewrite, but I've kept forgetting it until now. Ahem...

I DO NOT OWN RWBY AND AM IN NO WAY, SHAPE, OR FORM AFFILIATED WITH ROOSTER TEETH. ALL RIGHTS AND OWNERSHIPS OF THE SETTING AND A MAJORITY OF THE CHARACTERS BELONG TO THEM. I ONLY OWN THE ORIGINAL CHARACTERS AND OTHER CREATIONS SUCH AS THE GRIMM CONTROL PROGRAM.

There. Got that out of the way. Finally. I need to add that to the other chapters as well, so yeah. Hopefully I'll remember next chapter!

V

A Problem

Duke quickly realized that the infinite blackness he was gazing into was not, in fact, the unforgiving void, but rather, the fur of the Grimm that had tackled him. The blackness receded just as quickly as it appeared, letting him see the blue sky and green trees. He rolled to his feet and saw Zeus charging at the Grimm. He quickly grabbed Thráfstis and charged with him. Now was not the time for cowardice; it was the time for action. The Beowolf grabbed Zeus' staff as it swung at him, however, and tore it out of his hands. Zeus rolled under the horizontal swipe and left for it to instead hit Duke on the return. He shouted in pain and stumbled back. He returned his gaze to this Beowolf and saw the staff spinning toward him. He ducked under it and saw the Grimm focus on Zeus again. It swiped madly at him, though Zeus managed to jump, dodge, and flip out of the way of each attack. Zeus began a series of backwards handsprings to dodge a savage group of swipes.

Duke charged in and stabbed with his trident, stopping the Grimm and giving Zeus room to breathe. Duke pressed a button on Thráfstis and electricity arced between the three prongs. The Beowolf grew wary and dodged from attacks earlier than normal. He grew overconfident, however, and paid for it when he was grabbed and thrown into a tree after overextending a strike. Khryseis charged in next, swiping with her dagger and nimbly moving around Grimm's attacks. She jumped off of a tree and revealed the chain of her weapon, throwing the dagger and impaling it in the Grimm's shoulder. It roared and tugged, throwing her off balance and sending her crashing to the ground. Bangs filled the air as Harley unloaded her pistols. The Grimm held up its arms as it charged her, letting her relatively small bullets simply bounce off of its thick hide. She was unable to dodge it and it tackled her to the ground before grabbing her neck in its mouth. It started to jerk around, hoping to snap the bone without needing to break her Aura first. She screamed in pain and fear at its vicious attack.

"Harley!" Zeus charged in, having grabbed his staff again, and jumped onto the Beowolf's back. He discharged his staff and caused it to let her go, though Zeus noticeably cringed when Harley was caught by some of the electricity as well. It shook him off quickly and slammed its paw down on Harley, keeping her on the ground for the time being. It roared and charged, but found its teeth encircling Propýrgio rather than Zeus. Duke struggled to keep the Grimm back, his entire body shaking from the effort. He grunted as he was forced to a knee. The Grimm snarled, the shield in its mouth slightly muffling the sound. Zeus rushed over to check on Harley as Duke realized he was in a losing battle. Khryseis suddenly appeared with a battle cry and leaped onto the side of the Beowolf, stabbing her dagger into the first place she could think of.

Its eye.

It roared in agony as it suddenly jerked back and wildly threw its head around, trying to throw her off. It succeeded quickly and gripped the left side of its face with both paws and stumbled around, roaring in agony. Duke made it to Khryseis and helped her back to her feet. "You don't look too good," was the first thing she said to him.

"I'll be fine," he replied. He looked down at his shield and winced, seeing that it was horribly dented on the top and bottom. The edges were bent inward at such an angle that it looked more like Pyrrha's shield.

"You won't be." Duke flinched and turned back to the Grimm to notice it had gone deathly silent. The others seemed to notice as well and watched as it slowly brought its paws down. Its upper body rose and fell as if it were shaking with pure rage. "I am going to make sure that your death is the most painful I've wrought since my creation!" Smoke trailed off of its form from all over its body, even the bone. It was an almost beautiful mix of white and black smoke. It gave the loudest roar yet and charged at him.

"The White Rook and White Knight pairs have made it back to Beacon," Glynda notified Ozpin. "That leaves only the White Bishops."

"Where are they now?" Ozpin asked as he sipped from his mug.

"Unknown, currently." She flipped through cameras in an attempt to find them. "It's strange, Ozpin. Some of the cameras have been damaged."

"That happens every initiation, Glynda, simply a byproduct of setting them up in a forest used both by Grimm and training huntsmen and huntresses."

"Normally, I would agree. However, these cameras were destroyed in sequence and all going down a certain path in the forest."

"You think it was deliberate, then?" He raised an eyebrow.

"What reason would anyone have to-" She was interrupted by a loud, wrathful roar breaking through the forest. She glanced at Ozpin before flipping through the cameras even more quickly as he retrieved his tablet and did the same.

"Glynda." His tone was suddenly empty of any of its normal contentedness. It was deathly serious. "We cleared out all of the higher-tier Grimm in the forest, aside from the Deathstalker, yes? Including Alphas and Majors?"

"Yes…" She did not like where his questioning was leading.

"It appears we've missed one." Her skin paled as she quickly marched over to him and watched the screen as well.

"Oh gods…" Glynda was momentarily frozen before steeling herself and pinpointing the location of the camera on her own tablet. After finding it, she nodded to herself before folding the tablet, putting it away, and rushing for the cliff's edge. She leaped down and spun in the air, righting herself, before she used her Semblance and tore a chunk out of the face and rode it the rest of the way down. Ozpin watched on alone as the last group of initiates was fighting against an Alpha Beowolf. It seemed larger than normal, but it was hard to tell from the camera. One of the initiates was on the ground, a boy looking over her, as the other two faced down the Alpha. It tackled the boy of the two facing it to the ground and bit down on his throat. He screamed and thrashed as the girl dove onto the Alpha. The other boy seemed to snap out of his stupor and looked up to see the girl get thrown off easily. He picked up his staff and charged, but they all froze as the clearing suddenly went silent. The Alpha dropped the boy from his jaws, successful in simply breaking the bone rather than breaking through his Aura.

Ozpin gripped his mug tightly as the boy and girl started to slowly back away, clearly afraid.

/ / /

Apollyon dropped the boy from his jaws and turned to the other two. If they were outraged at the boy's death, then they were even more afraid of him. He turned to the boy and growled. However, a sudden spike in negativity caused him to turn towards the girl instead. The negativity rolling off of her was almost unfathomable. How can a single human be so negative? He found it hard to resist turning away from her. He pounced at her, forcing her out of her stupor and into a dodge. She rolled under him and shakily pointed her small dagger at him. The boy looked at her. "Stay calm." Apollyon took the distraction as his chance and charged. The boy clicked a button on his staff and let electricity spark from the end before stabbing it forward. Had it been any other Grimm, they would have stopped. Apollyon was the OMEGA, however, and brushed the staff aside with his head before he tackled the boy to the ground. He started smashing his paws into the boy, raking claws against his barrier.

The girl bellowed a rather pitiful war cry and charged, stabbing madly into his flank. A kick sent her to the ground, wrenching the dagger out of him as well. The boy under him could not break free of the vicious combo and eventually lost the barrier that kept him safe. One final slam destroyed his head and left only red paste mingled with white and pink. Apollyon tossed the body aside and turned to the unconscious girl. He flinched, feeling a wave of negativity. He turned to the other girl, and if the negativity from her before was astounding, then it had ascended into something near-divine. She could barely even focus on the Grimm from how traumatized she no doubt was. Other Grimm would show up soon, that was almost certain. Apollyon winced as smoke coughed out of his mouth. He was injured, incredibly at that. These children, though pathetic compared to other Warriors he had bested, had managed to do enough damage to him to make him feel weak. He also felt unbearably heavy, as if his body could suddenly no longer fight endlessly.

The smell of another person, no doubt another Warrior, was growing closer. Deciding to cut his losses, Apollyon left the clearing with one message for the girl. "We will meet again, Khryseis. And next time...you and your fellow Warrior will not be so lucky." With that, he disappeared into the brush, confident other Grimm could finish them off.

When Glynda burst into the clearing, her crop was at the ready and she was scanning the perimeter. However, much to her dismay and horror, the Grimm was gone and had left her three bodies. She gripped her crop tightly as she realized she was too slow. She found the last surviving initiate and cautiously walked over to her. Upon confirming that the coast was clear, she knelt down and looked at the girl who was hugging her knees and sitting. "Are you injured?"

The girl took a moment to respond with a shake of her head. Glynda rubbed her shoulder in an attempt to calm her down, but only seemed to make matters worse as the girl burst into tears and clutched onto Glynda tightly. The deputy headmistress was taken aback by her sudden clinginess, but realized just how afraid the girl was. She had never seen a student break down like this before, not in all of her years at Beacon. She hugged the girl back, cursing herself for not being able to remember the initiate's name from the roster. "Everything is going to be alright…"

"I-I-I...I couldn't...save...th-them…"

It was times like these that reminded Glynda that her students were just children. "That's quite alright, Miss Minoa." Thankfully, she was finally able to recall her name. "No one could have seen this coming, and certainly no one expected you to be able to overcome an Alpha so young."

"A-am I...still going to...Beacon...?"

"Only if you still want to."

Glynda's answer gave Khryseis pause. As her breathing finally steadied and her sobs lessened, she replied. "...Yes…" She took a deep breath to collect herself. "I...I need to make sure this never happens again…"

Glynda simply nodded. She slowly stood up, bringing Khryseis up with her, and took one final look around the clearing. The bodies of Khryseis' former future teammates were on the ground in various states. She closed her eyes and forced the images out of her head before leading Khryseis out of the clearing. Khryseis stopped her, however, with a tug on her sleeve. "Harley's still alive…" Glynda looked over the bodies and noticed that one was unharmed. She rushed over and saw it was another girl, Harley Graec if her memory served. A quick check of her pulse confirmed that yes, thankfully, she was alive. She let out a sigh of relief and holstered the unconscious student's weapons before gently picking her up. Glynda hoisted her over one of her shoulders, leaving her dominant hand free to use Disciplinarian. She looked over at the corpses of the two boys. As cruel as it sounded, the situation demanded that their bodies be ignored for the time being. Preventing a third and fourth from joining them was far more important than retrieving them at the moment. They ran into multiple Grimm along the way to Beacon, but they were all dealt with by Glynda. No words were spoken. None were needed or wanted.

All that mattered was making sure at least one more student survived initiation.

Despite understandable protests from the deputy headmistress, Khryseis and Harley both stood just off the stage in the auditorium. Clutched tightly in Khryseis' hand was the white bishop her and Zeus had collected. Harley, thankfully, had her and Duke's. They had never returned the relics, though considering the circumstances, Khryseis supposed it was okay to be late in that regard. "Jaune Arc, Lie Ren, Pyrrha Nikos, Nora Valkyrie." She took some deep breaths to calm herself down. "The four of you retrieved the white rook pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...team Juniper." As with the other announcements, she winced upon hearing it. Harley gave her a gentle squeeze on the arm, as she had every time she heard a wince. At least I'm not alone, Khryseis thought. "Led by...Jaune Arc!" As the audience applauded, she wondered what her team might have been. What colors have a Z? She was so lost in her thoughts, she did not realize the next team was going up already. "Blake Belladonna, Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, and Yang Xiao Long. The four of you retrieved the white knight pieces. From this day forward, you will work together as...team Ruby. Led by...Ruby Rose."

After a brief reunion between two of the girls on the team, they began to walk off stage. Khryseis took a deep breath and hoped that she did not look as horrible as she thought she did. "Khryseis Minoa, and Harley Graec." The audience was overtaken by an awkward and somber silence. They shared a look before unsteadily walking onto the stage and standing across from the headmaster. She was sure everyone could tell how clenched her fist was over the piece in her hand, though Harley was considerably better at hiding her emotions. "Due to unfortunate circumstances that we at Beacon were unable to foresee or prevent, you were the only initiates to claim the white bishop piece and return to Beacon." His wording made it fairly clear what had happened. "Despite this, you have decided to forge onward and make huntresses of yourselves. You have both my deepest condolences and greatest respect. However, you still have a choice to make, one that will affect your future here at Beacon."

The display at the back of the stage showed all of the first-year teams at the top, with portraits of them at the bottom. "Though this specific scenario was unprecedented, guidelines were put in place should something similar happen. You have three choices, Miss Minoa and Miss Graec. You may either attach yourselves to existing first-year teams, partner together, or withdraw from Beacon now. All of the options presented have advantages and disadvantages, and should you choose one of the first two options, know that the staff of Beacon will support you as best we can, as your peers no doubt will as well. And, should you choose the third, I am sure no one here would judge you for your choice. You should also not feel forced to make the same decision. You may split up or stay together, whichever you wish."

Khryseis took a deep breath, calming herself down. On the one hand, she did not want to force herself into another team and possibly ruin any dynamic they had. On the other hand, teamwork was the most important skill a huntsman could have next to Aura control. She certainly did not want to quit Beacon, if only so she could make that monster pay. She looked up at the board. Nine teams were up there, four portraits for each and a name under each one, but not one stood out to her. She looked at Harley, and her face was grim. It appeared she had already made her decision. Her gaze finally lowered to the bishop in her hand, and she rubbed her thumb along it before turning back to Ozpin. "I will stay a huntress, but I don't want another team.."

Ozpin turned to Harley. "Me neither."

Ozpin simply nodded. "Very well. Your Scrolls will notify you of how this will affect your schedules." They nodded in turn and were about to leave before the headmaster stopped them. "One last thing." She turned back around. "At some point, do return the relics. I'm embarrassed to admit it, but Beacon is only in possession of one chess set, and I'm quite fond of the game." Many in the auditorium, Khryseis included, let out a light chuckle at his attempt to lighten the mood. She tossed him the piece and continued off the stage, with Harley electing to walk over and plant it in his hand after he caught hers. After looking them over, Ozpin pocketed the chess pieces and turned to address everyone gathered. "What happened today in the Emerald Forest was a tragedy. It would be disrespectful to those who could not join us to call it otherwise. However, that does not excuse how poorly Beacon performed. As such, until further notice, the following rules are in effect. Students, regardless of year, are not allowed entrance into the Emerald Forest. An Alpha Beowolf is not a Grimm to be trifled with, as today has shown.

"In addition, a curfew has been put in place in order to minimize the chance of students being caught off guard should, gods forbid, the Grimm find its way close to the campus without us noticing." Going unsaid, of course, that a curfew makes it easier for us to find out who's sneaking out to face it in some form of bravado, Ozpin added to himself. "All students are to be in their dorms by no later than seven PM. If anyone is found breaking these rules, the punishment will be serious." He let out a weary sigh. "The world needs huntsmen and huntresses. I understand that many of you will take exception to these rules, but Beacon prides itself on being the best and safest huntsmen academy on Remnant. This serves as an example of the consequences of overconfidence and complacency. We will do our very best to ensure that our students, all of you, make it through the year, and will join us for the next one. That is all." Ozpin walked off of the stage and let the students go to their dorms. Khryseis looked at her Scroll and saw it told her where her room was, Harley doing the same. Harley pocketed her device and started to leave. Khryseis followed suit before she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned again to see Ruby Rose, the leader of team RWBY. Harley noticed she was not following and walked back to join the two.

"Um...hi…" She gave an awkward wave and avoided eye contact. After a moment, she nodded to herself. Khryseis could faintly hear her mutter "You got this." She looked up at them, being a full five or six inches shorter than the two. "I'm Ruby. Ruby Rose. I-I know that you're probably going through a lot of stuff right now, and you probably don't even want to talk to me, b-but if you ever feel like you need someone to talk to...our dorm's open."

Khryseis smiled and pat Ruby on the shoulder. "Thanks, Ruby. We'll keep your offer in mind." She had no intention of talking with the girl or her team, though. This was something better worked out on her own, as Harley was most likely thinking as well. They exchanged contact information and Ruby smiled back before returning to her team. They left, walking slightly faster than previously, and eventually found their dorm. It was on the second floor of the building and had a number on its door: 212. Ruby's dorm was a distance down the hall and to the left, room 235. Khryseis unlocked the door with her Scroll and walked inside, keeping the door open for Harley. It was sparse, having only a bathroom, a closet, a desk, a chair, four beds, and a window at the back. Her belongings, a black suitcase and a black backpack, were sitting at the end of the bed next to the window. Harley's belongings, a suitcase, duffle bag, and backpack all in a light purple, sat on the other bed flanking the window. Khryseis sat on her bed and looked out at the slowly rising moon. She heard the bathroom door open and close, and let out a sigh. She took the sheath of her dagger off her belt and rested it on her lap, slowly pulling the blade out. It was such a small and intricate weapon, Alysida. Just earlier that day, it had been the only thing between her and certain death. She sheathed it once more. Next time we meet, I'll take out your other eye, too.

/ / /

Ozpin set his mug down and tented his hands in front of him, looking at the sole person standing before him. It was Glynda Goodwitch, the deputy headmistress. He was regretful to admit it, but he trusted her far more than any other staff member at Beacon. On his desk Scroll was Qrow Branwen, an agent of his currently deployed in Mistral. "So, let me get this straight." Ozpin had just informed the two of them of the increasingly volatile situation, and it appeared Qrow was still grappling with it. "My niece ran into the Beowolf pack that's been dancing all around Vale, killing people and razing towns to the ground. A pack that, according to your own estimates, shouldn't have even been in sight of Vale for another few weeks. Then, it went off and killed half a team of initiates."

"Yes."

"And the Council doesn't know yet?"

"No one outside of this room likely knows the full extent of this situation, except for your niece and most likely the rest of her team at this point. With Miss Minoa and Miss Graec being transfer students, it's unlikely that they know of the pack of Grimm just yet. They are smart, however. Once they learn of the pack, they will connect the dots."

Qrow took a sip from his flask. "Bloody hell, Oz. You've got yourself in quite the situation now. Council's not gonna be too happy."

"I will deal with the Council as necessary. The main reason for this meeting is for us to regroup, look at the situation, and deal with it as quickly and discreetly as possible. Which is why your assignment is changing, Qrow."

"Oz, Fall isn't-"

"It does not matter currently if we know where the attackers of Amber are. If we are not careful, I may not be headmaster come the Vytal Festival." The room went quiet at that. It was rare for Ozpin to interrupt anyone, let alone Qrow, or speak with even a hint of venom. He let out the umpteenth sigh that day. "Forgive me, Qrow, but desperate times call for desperate measures, and we must deal with this Alpha. I need you back here, in Vale, so that we can deal with it."

"...What's so special about it?"

"That's what worries me, Qrow. Nothing should be special about it, but something is. In its engagement with the initiates, it proved to be smarter, faster, and stronger than the average Alpha Beowolf and even Ursa. On top of that, it seems to be a hybrid of a Geist and an Alpha Beowolf, if the mask on its chest is what we think it is. There is also a far more important, and dare I say, threatening question we have yet to answer."

"What could possibly be worse than all that?"

"Though we haven't been able to test the validity of his claim, shortly before his demise Mister Melas insisted to his teammates that the Grimm spoke to him. Miss Minoa's recounting of the event confirmed this, with the Beowolf referring to her by name." No one had been made aware of that information yet, as shown by the recoils.

"But we looked over that footage countless times! Surely we would have heard it speak by now." Glynda attempted to refute his claim.

"That is the part that worries me most. We never heard it speak, yet two students claim it did. One I would be willing to write off as stress, but not two," Ozpin replied. "It's also worrying that, despite being next to Mister Melas, Miss Graec never heard the Grimm once when he claimed it spoke."

"...Do you think it was...you know?" Qrow's question left a sense of unease in everyone, his meaning clear.

"If this is her doing, then I fear for the worst. If this is her accelerating her plans or escalating the game, then we too must do the same. Chess was never a game of numbers, but of skill. She has shown us this, with her pawns becoming something more only because we allow them too. We will retaliate in kind with our knights, our rooks, and our bishops. We must keep our last pawn safe, for her promotion into something far greater" He pulled out one of the white bishop pieces and put it on his desk. "And, try as she might, chess does not end with the death of a king nor his capture, only his inability or unwillingness to fight back." He turned to Glynda. "In your off time, I want you to look over what footage we have of this Alpha. Determine any weaknesses and have them ready to be discussed once Qrow arrives. Make sure you get Peter to assist you and compare notes." She nodded and left the room, leaving Qrow alone with Ozpin.

Qrow spoke after a short pause, clearly trying to form the words. "Oz, promise me something..."

"Your nieces will be safe, Qrow. I'll make sure of it."

"...Thanks." He gave a bitter chuckle. "Couldn't stand losin' them, too." He ended the call, leaving Ozpin alone in his office. He sighed before looking at the white bishop sitting on his desk. Even the lowest of pawns can turn into something greater than themselves. He spun his chair around and looked out the window. So, what did this Alpha become?

Roman was busy looking at a map of Vale while talking on the Scroll. When the news he was given proved to be negative, he growled and slammed his Scroll on the desk. To calm himself back down, he pulled out a cigar and lit it. Creaky wheels to his right informed him of an approaching member of the White Fang. He flashed some Lien cards and placed them on the desk, letting the grunt take them. "Open it," he ordered. The faunus pulled out a crowbar and pried the black crate he was rolling open to reveal an assortment of Dust crystals. Roman turned around and walked over to the crate, picking up a blue crystal. "We're gonna need more men." His Scroll buzzed again. After confirming the caller, he turned to the grunt. "Leave." The faunus nodded and walked away, leaving Roman in relative solitude. He answered and put the Scroll to his ear. "So, Boss, about that Dust ya wanted. I'm gonna need more animals to get it all in time for the big show we're putting on, whatever it is."

"You'll get your men, Roman. But, I called because I wanted to inform you of a new part of the plan," Cinder told him. "My allies in higher places have procured a pet project of theirs for our use. It will ensure the next phase of the plan runs smoothly. And, so long as you keep stealing Dust, this little project won't need to come out sooner than planned. We wouldn't that, Roman, now would we?"

"You'll get the Dust, I just need the men." There was a pregnant pause before Roman rolled his eyes. "I just need the men, ma'am." Another one. "Please?"

He could practically hear the smirk on her face. "I'll make sure the bull gets you some. Have fun, Roman." The call ended, finally letting Roman release the tired groan he had been holding in.

"Honestly, she gets on my nerves…" He heard high heels clicking against the floor and smiled. "And there's my favorite little psychopath. Neo, you busy?" He turned to the short woman that served as his assassin. She was twirling a parasol over her shoulder and blinked, switching her eye colors from pink and brown to brown and pink. She had short hair that was pink on the right half and brown on the left. She wore a white, tailed jacket with a pink interior over a brown corset, brown pants, and white knee-high boots. She shook her head. "Good, listen. Cindy dear's got us more men, so that means you don't need to do any more stickups.." She pouted. "Oh, don't give me that look. The important part is, she let something slip." Her pout turned into a wicked grin. "Now that's the Neo I like to see. It turns out, Cinder's got someone above her, and they've got something up their sleeve. A little 'pet project' to help with whatever the hell she wants all this Dust for. I need you to do some digging and try to come up with some sort of lead about what it could be. Look for something in Vale, Atlas, Mistral, hell, try Vacuo for all I care. I just need something."

Neo tapped her chin for a moment before nodding. She spun on her heel and left, idly twisting her parasol. He turned back to the map, setting the Dust crystal from earlier down. So, where to go next?

/ / /

Apollyon eventually came across a cave with its entrance seemingly blown wider from the inside. One of the fragments on the ground depicted a Deathstalker, but considering that the fragment was on the ground and the entrance made into a larger, Deathstalker-sized hole, he wagered a guess that it had been disturbed and left it empty. He trotted in and noticed that the cave itself was just a long, wet passage leading into a slightly larger room at the end. How the Deathstalker could fit inside was beyond him. He lied down on the stone floor and felt a familiar sensation of heaviness. He rested his head on his paws and closed his eyes as the black void encroached on his mind once more.

Strangely, it felt slightly more welcoming than before.

Hey guys, remember when I said that this was, for sure, coming out on the 18th? I do!

...

Damn it.

To be fair, I looked over the chapter and fixed a few problems! Granted, I might have just created more, but the chapter's out! That aside, it's time to address the Megoliath in the room: Weiss' arm.

Looking over the reviews, everyone actually seems fine with it. I honestly did not expect that. I expected at least some outrage at it, so thank you everyone for that!

Now, moving on to the changes between the rewrite and the original.

Firstly, ZDHK. You all may or may not remember the initiates that Apollyon ran into way back then. Well, I have a doc on my computer listing all of the stuff about them, including what their team name would be (Zodiac). Then, I just sorta...killed them. All of them. Well, this time around, things are changing! Harley (formerly Helena) and Khryseis live! This also means I plan on changing perspective between Apollyon and them a bit, and if you have any suggestions on how to handle that, I'm all ears.

...

Actually, that's really the only major change I made. Huh,

Alright, well, this is a rather short AN. There is an announcement I'd like to make, as well, before I give the closing.

TheWeebTrashIsHere, slowly yet surely, is planning on returning to VNLA. We've been working on the Fandom page for some time now, and I plan on really pushing for another chapter release this month, but I can't make any promises. Keep an eye out on her page if you're into her story (it's RWBY as well, but with a little twist).

That should be everything. I want to thank all of you sticking around til the end, and I want to extend some personal thanks to the guys and gals behind the 16 Reviews, 27 Follows, 14 Favorites, and 789 Views! Chapter six is still a work in progress, but I see it coming out pretty soon! If you want an update on that, keep an eye out on the official The OMEGA Subject wiki, as an update will be posted there once it's done and being edited.

Salvete!
