The brisk winter weather is fluttering in the air. The dim sunlight shining through the resting trees. It was all too soon to happen.

Elsie runs her hand against the cold coffin. Her eyes red from tears. They knew this would happen one day, but now it seemed like a nightmare. He is indeed gone...She takes a deep breath to steady herself, to keep the tears from dropping. Soon her body is shaking uncontrollably. Tears running down her cheeks.

The cold wind blows under her skirts. She crawls down, places bunch of flowers down. Her eyes linger on the tombstone text.

'A loving husband' it says.

Elsie can feel someone resting their hand on her arm.

"Are you alright, Mrs. Carson?"Lady Grantham shows her a reassuring smile, through her own tears.

She nods, breaking into tears. Cora takes her hand.

"Thank you."Elsie whispers.

Her tears, now stopped streaming down her cheeks. Elsie bends down, places a kiss on her palm and brings it to his side.

"I love you..."She cries."And I will always love you...Goodbye darling."

He will watch her from the clouds, till they meet again...
