Lucian Sterling-39: Head Gamemaker

Last year was one of the best Hunger Games I've ran so far. It drew in some of the best ratings in the past decade, and I'm proud of that. The Capitol is still raving about last year, even President Stone loved it. Of course, they're always happy with a Career victory, and Marcel Taft of District 4 did just that. It was a close call, but thankfully Shane Ingram from 5 wasn't strong enough. Nevertheless, I'm beyond satisfied with last year's showing. In fact, I'm still riding that high from nearly a year ago, and I have very high expectations for this year.

I knew I was a lock for Head Gamemaker when I applied for the position two years ago, and after a great debut performance followed by an even better second showing, I think I'm going to be around for a while. In fact, I've already made quite a big change for this year.

I've brought in a good friend of mine, Draco St. Clair, to be my assistant. He'll be handling a lot of the organization so I can focus on what's really important, entertaining the masses. Having the time I usually spend figuring out the logistics of the Games dedicated to the actual design and execution is something I've longed for since I started this job. Now I'm finally able to do that with Draco handling all of the paperwork.

With the Reapings just around the corner, I can barely contain my excitement. I just have a great feeling that this year's tributes will make my job much easier.

Hey guys! I've been submitting to SYOTS now for a little over a year and I've finally decided to start my own. I just typed this chapter up to give you a brief introduction to the Head Gamemaker of my AU. I know it's short but I just couldn't wait to get this out. Keep in mind that this is my first time writing a SYOT so I apologize in advance for all of the mistakes I'm inevitably going to make.

Without further ado, here are the rules for submissions:

1. I will only accept submissions by PM, no exceptions.

2. There is no max amount of tributes, but if you submit a lot I will probably still only take one or two.

3. No Mary-Sue/Gary-Stus,

4. No relatives of victors. I already have every victor created.

5. Districts 1, 2, and 4 are Career districts and each tribute from these districts must be a volunteer, no exceptions.

6. Every tribute has a chance to win so I will be expecting 12-year-olds.

7. I'm expecting diversity. Not every tribute should be white, and as a black man living in the South, I expect BOTH District 11 tributes to be at least partially black(this isn't limited to District 11 though).

8. I will accept reservations, and they will last 3 days.
