Chapter Five: Asaka City

Uraraka stood next to her desk in total shock, her heart beating hard against her chest. But, why? She only seen a guy with green hair, surely that wasn't' something to get excited about, right? She didn't know. Green hair males wasn't something common around Musutafu, but not rare either. But she couldn't remember the last time she actually saw a green haired man around the city. She was sure she would've noticed, so maybe she should be a little bit surprised, maybe?

She decided to go and check the new heroes and put her, baseless, suspicions to rest. After all what were the chances of Deku actually showing up at Ryukyu's agency, as a new hero no less. Pretty much none, if you asked her. The gravity hero walked at a brisk pace to the conference room where she knew her boss and Shadow would be giving the new heroes a usual welcome brief to explain basic topics about their new jobs and probably sign some miscellaneous documents.

Uraraka reached the door and opened it slowly trying not to disturb the speech that Ryukyu was probably giving. As she slowly opened the door, she quietly stepped inside while Ryukyu was giving the newcomers a brief introduction of her agency. The two new heroes looked back at her and the blond girl smiled and turned back to the front. The green haired hero that was wearing a mask kept his gaze for a moment then turned back to face their boss. Without missing a beat from what she was saying, Ryukyu smiled at Uraraka.

"So in short we're responsible for the Okusawa and Meidai districts. We also cooperate with all the local hero agencies and assist with anything they need. From simple investigations to full on raids. They in turn do the same for us as is the normal operating procedures in Musutafu." Ryukyu said as she continued her introduction. She then paused and looked at her number one.

"Anyway, I guess this would be a good time to introduce you to my number one hero at this agency." She said while directing an open hand to Uraraka standing by the door. "UA graduate, pro hero, Uravity." The gravity hero just waved a hand with a smile without saying anything. The new hero girl waved back with a smile while the green haired man just nodded with what Uraraka could tell was a serious expression.

Ryukyu continue with her welcome brief for a few more minutes. After that, Shadow took over explaining some of their legal limits to their new jobs. The dragon hero walked to the back of the room, standing next to Uraraka, who was eyeing the green haired hero with great interest. The new hero would glance back at the gravity hero occasionally, feeling her constant gaze. This of course didn't go unnoticed by Ryukyu.

After about half an hour, that somehow went by way to quickly, Ryukyu walked to the front and took over the brief. "Alright, that's enough of that. So now I would like you two to introduce yourselves." After she said this, Uraraka walked to the front, but didn't went to the center, instead staying close to the wall.

The blond girl stood first. She had short blond hair that went just above her shoulders and green eyes. She reminded Uraraka of Melisa Shields from I-island. Her hero costume consisted of a skintight hero suit that looked similar to Nejire but with a lighter shade of blue and a yellow X on the center and missing the spirals around her arms and ankles. "Hello, my name is Psytempest. UA graduate." She bowed slightly with a smile. "I'm very happy to be here working with two of my favorite heroes."

Ryukyu nodded with a small smile, "And for my colleagues here, can you tell us what your quirk is?"

"Sure! My quirk is telekinesis!"

Shadow whistled and nodded appreciably.

Uraraka's eye got wide turning to Ryukyu then back at Psytempest, "That's pretty rare. How strong is your telekinesis?"

"I have strong control of inanimate objects but my telekinesis doesn't work well with living things. I can move or lift people a small distance but I can't keep them in one place or control their movements."

Uraraka nodded but didn't say anything else. She knew that telekinesis could be a very strong or weak quirk depending on the individual. But it was rare and some people that did have strong telekinesis never got good control of such a quirk, because sometimes it had big drawbacks like severe exhaustion or the person passing out after using their quirk. Only people that managed to overcome those drawbacks were able to use telekinesis with any proficiency.

After Psytempest sat down, the other hero stood up. He was wearing black leather pants like Present Mic and a black leather jacket cut in the style of a motorcycle jacket. "Hello, my name is Brasspunch and I graduated from Shiketsu. My quirk is Fist."

"What does it do?" Shadow asked before the other pro heroes could ask anything.

"I can make my fists extremely strong and gain enhanced grip or punch strength." As he said this his fists doubled in size with a rock like appearance, with his knuckles protruding a lot more than normal.

As Brasspunch demonstrated his quirk, Ryukyu looked at Uraraka, who seemed to relax for some reason. The dragon hero just shook her head and sighed. "So, Brasspunch, I assume you chose your hero name because of brass knuckles?" The new hero just nodded in the affirmative.

Ryukyu nodded her head with a smile, "Alright, you two will be assigned to a pro hero for a period of time while you learn everything you need to know before you can work by yourself. Psytempest, you will be assigned to Uravity and Brasspunch will be assigned to Shadow."

The dragon hero then raised a finger to make a point, "These heroes will be your bosses. You will listen and learn from them. If they tell you to do something you will do it. Understood?"

"Yes ma'am!" both heroes said at the same time.

As everyone walked out of the conference room, Ryukyu walked next to Uraraka, giving her a once over, "You okay?"

The gravity hero gave her a small smile, "Yeah." In all reality Uraraka was both relieved and disappointed that the new hero with green hair wasn't Izuku. Disappointed for obvious reasons, and relieved because she thought she wasn't ready to meet Izuku in such an unexpected way, even if she knew deep down that she would welcome it anyway.

After the welcome meeting Uraraka took her new hero "trainee" to her cubicle to explain some of her office duties as well as the different networks, software and reporting systems used by all the hero agencies.

"So all our reports gets filed into our own database. Ryukyu, myself or Shadow would review them and then file them on the hero headquarters reporting system. Most of the time Ryukyu is the one responsible for the review and for the final filling process, so you don't have to worry about that for now." Uraraka gave it a few second to make sure Psytempest understood the information. "Do you have any questions?" she gave the new hero sitting next to her a small smile.

Psytempest shook her head, "No, I understand it all fairly well since I got a chance to learn some of this during my internship."

"Who did you do your internship with?"

"Death Arms. He was very strict and serious." Psytempest said with a small chuckle. "He made me run anytime we were on patrol."

The gravity hero nodded, "yeah, Death Arms is not known to have a relaxed personality." She then thought of something, "So you're a UA graduate, who was your homeroom teacher?"

"Mr. Aizawa. He's kind of scary."

"Wow, what a coincidence, he was my homeroom teacher too!" Uraraka said somewhat surprised.

"Yeah, I'm so excited to be working with another hero that attended UA like me." Psytempest said in a bubbly voice that matched her personality. She then pointed to Uraraka's hand, "that's a very nice UA bracelet. Where did you get it?"

Uraraka lifted her right hand a little and gently ran a finger over the gold bracelet around her wrist. "It was a graduation present."

Psytempest gave her a wide smile, "that's so nice! Did you get it from your parents?"

Uraraka shook her head with her lips pressed into a thin line, "No. I got it from someone else."

The telekinesis hero's smile lost some of its luster after sensing the pro hero next to her didn't want to talk about who gave her the bracelet. Deciding to change the topic she looked around Uraraka's desk and saw an assortment of pictures. Some were from her UA times and others seem more recent. Then she saw one that was next to her monitor.

"Oh, who is that? Your boyfriend? He seems familiar."

The gravity hero looked at the picture she recently put next to her computer monitor. After the encounter with the teenagers at one of her favorite lunch spot and getting surprised at seeing Izuku in an old class poster, Uraraka decided to look for a picture of her old crush to look at it every day. It not only reminded her of one of her biggest mistakes, but also of the boy that somehow refused to vacate her heart. Maybe this way her heart wouldn't feel heavy next time she saw a picture of Izuku by surprise.

Uraraka turned to face the telekinesis hero, with a serious face, "no, he's not. Tell me Psytempest, do you know we're about to move to Asaka city?"

The blond girl blinked a few times at Uraraka's evasive attitude, but then she nodded, "yes, Ryukyu told me not to get an apartment since I'm supposed to go with you to Asaka."

Uraraka nodded her head, "good." She then stood up, "come on, we can talk more over lunch."

Psytempest stood up with a wide smile, "oh, I'm having lunch with Uravity! I'm so excited!"

The gravity hero shook her head and rolled her eyes, but smiled anyway.

Uraraka walked into her apartment ready to relax. After a full day of office training and answering Psytempest constant questions about her personal and professional life, the gravity girl was more than ready for a well-deserved glass of wine and some fun conversation with Jiro, who had stayed from her visit the night prior after her argument with Kaminari.

"I'm home!" the gravity hero shouted as she open the door and dropped her keys and phone on the kitchen counter top. "Jiro! Are you here?!" The guest room door opened and a sleepy looking Jiro walked out still wearing her black pajamas with purple flower pattern.

"Hey Ochaco! Sorry, I was catching up on some sleep." The sound quirk user said with a tired smile.

"Oh, sorry! I didn't know you were sleeping." Uraraka said with an apologetic look.

"Nah, don't worry about it. I been sleeping most of the day anyway. I was tired." Jiro said with a chuckle.

"Okay, I brought dinner from the restaurant downstairs. It's on the kitchen if you're hungry." Uraraka said as she walked to her room. "I'm taking a shower, ok?"

Jiro went to sit on the couch with her phone. "Yeah, okay. Take your time."

After taking a shower, Uraraka walked out wearing dark blue pajama shorts and a white t-shirt that had a drawing of cute mochi living creatures of different colors and the phrase "You Are What You Eat" under them. She went straight to the kitchen and came back with two glasses of wine. As Uraraka sat on the couch, she gave Jiro one of the drinks, which Jiro took with a smile.

"So, how was your day?" The sound quirk hero asked while taking a sip of her drink.

"It was okay. The new heroes Ryukyu hired started today." Uraraka took a sip of her drink, "I officially got my first trainee." She smiled at that.

Jiro raised an eyebrow, "you mean a sidekick? That's pretty quick, don't you think?"

Uraraka shook her head with a smile, "don't call her that, it sounds weird to me." She chuckled, "besides, she was hired as a hero, so she's not a sidekick."

The sound quirk hero pressed her lips in thought, "hmm, didn't even thought about that. Interesting." She looked at Uravity, "so how was this new hero?"

"Friendly and bubbly. She's a UA graduate like us and had Aizawa as her homeroom teacher. Can you believe that?"

Jiro left out a small laugh, "no way! What a coincidence!"

Uraraka nodded, "She kept asking me all these personal questions. I had to tell her we just met and I wasn't comfortable sharing so many details of my life." She shook her head with a smile, "she apologized like a hundred times after that."

The sound quirk user shook her head and took a sip of her drink. She was about to say something but her phone chimed with a text notification. After taking a look she signed, "Kaminari wants to talk to me."

Uraraka nodded with a smile, "tell him to come. You guys need to fix this little issue sooner or later."

Jiro thought about it for a moment then replied to her boyfriend, telling him to come to Uraraka's apartment. A little over half an hour later, in which the two friends kept conversing and drinking wine, Kaminari arrived, knocking on the door. Uraraka went to open the door to welcome her former classmate.

"Hey Kaminari. Please come in!" The brown haired girl said with a smile.

"Hello Uraraka. Sorry for the last minute visit." Kaminari say with a nervous smile. He walked towards the living room to see Jiro sitting on the couch with a serious expression. As he approached, Jiro stood up and crossed her arms. Uraraka saw this and decided to give them some space.

"Hey, I'll leave you guys alone for a few-"she couldn't finish after being interrupted by Jiro.

"Don't worry about it." The purple hair girl turned to her boyfriend, irritation showing on her face. "You better have a really good explanation for what you said to me yesterday."

Kaminari swallowed hard putting his hands in front of him trying to look non-threatening, "Kyoka, please calm down, okay?"

"Don't tell me to calm down, jerk! Start talking or leave!"

Kaminari sighed in defeat, "Look, Kyoka, You didn't let me explain anything last night, alright?" he ran a hand over his hair nervously, "all this could've been avoided if you would've let me talk."

"Let you talk for what? So you could make more fun of my boobs?!" Jiro had a deep frown at this point.

Kaminari's eyes went wide, "I didn't made fun of your boobs!"

"You said they were like mosquito bites, you fucking idiot!" Jiro shouted back in anger.

"I said mosquito bites on your boobs, Kyoka, not like your boobs! You had bites on your cleavage!" Kaminari yelled back with an exasperated look on his face.

Jiro's face froze and went pale like a ghost, "what?" she looked down stretching the collar of her pajama shirt. Sure enough, there were pink mosquito bites on her cleavage. She looked back up with a surprised expression. After a second she sighed closing her eyes and covering them with one hand feeling like a total idiot. "Oh god." Kaminari exhaled loudly, finally relaxing.

After a short moment Jiro finally reacted when she heard a weird sound. Uncovering her eyes she looked at Uraraka, who was covering her mouth with one hand, fighting a losing battle to keep from laughing out loud, her face red from holding her laughter. After the two made eye contact Uraraka couldn't hold it anymore and started laughing like a maniac, as she held her stomach.

"What's so funny?!" Jiro said frustrated. Uraraka laughed even harder at Jiro's frustrated voice, leaning against the wall for support. "…stop laughing damn it!" The gravity hero seem to calm down for one second, then started laughing again letting out a couple of cute snorts with her laughter. Kaminari chuckled, then laughed little, then laughed loudly, frustrating Jiro even more. "You too?!"

After a few seconds Jiro started chuckling too, then more until she too started laughing loudly with her two companions, who by now had teary eyes from laughing so much. The whole thing had turned from a serious, angry argument to the most ridiculously stupid misunderstanding. After a moment, everyone calmed down from their laughing fit, wiping tears from their eyes.

Uraraka looked at Jiro with an amused look, "this was the most ridiculous argument you too had so far."

"Maybe." Jiro said with a relaxed smile. Kaminari approached her slowly.

"You really thought I would made fun of your looks? I love every inch of your body, Kyoka."

The sound quirk hero smiled while throwing her arms around Kaminari's neck, "is that so?"

"Yeah." Kaminari whispered as he leaned in for a kiss, which Jiro gladly accepted. The kiss slowly progressed from tender and loving to a more passionate one. Uraraka's expression slowly shifted from happy and smiling to surprised, then, concerned.

"Hey! I'm still here you know?!" The kiss progressed to a full make out session. "Guys! Knock it off!" The two finally broke off the kiss, but Jiro just took Kaminari's hand and led him to the guest room in a hurry, closing the door behind her. "What the hell?!" Uraraka had a dumbfounded look on her face.

A few seconds later she could hear the muffled sounds of Jiro giggling and then a moan followed by another. "Oh god…" The gravity girl quickly walked towards her balcony, grabbing her phone and earbuds on the way. Stepping out on her balcony, she sat down on one of her patio chairs. Putting her feet up on a small table, she put on her earbuds and started listening to some music while getting comfortable.

The sun was starting to go down and the first stars were starting to shine in the sky. The gravity hero sighed and looked up at the sky, observing a plane's blinking lights as it flew overhead from a nearby airport. She sat there for a while as the night sky turned darker and the city lights grew brighter. After a long moment of thinking of all her friend's romantic relationships, she thought of her own lack of dating life and that, inevitably, led her mind to wander towards her missing friend. She looked up at the stars thinking of Izuku, "Deku, where are you?" she whispered to herself, "Am I ever going to see you again?"

Moving time to Asaka had come and gone. Uraraka's belongings had been packed up by a moving crew hired by the agency and then sent to her new apartment she had rented a week before moving. It was nicer and bigger than her current one since rent was a lot cheaper in Asaka. But like the apartment she was vacating, it had a nice view of the city. She thought about getting Psytempest to be her roommate but decided against it. As much as she liked the blond girl, she liked her privacy more.

In the last days before moving Mina had thrown her a moving party with all their classmates they were still in contact. Even Yaoyorozu and Todoroki had come, taking a day off from their busy schedule. Both had married and formed their own hero agency, and because of that they had little time to attend parties or socialize. Nevertheless they did come for a few hours to see their friend and wish her good luck.

The party was a huge success and everyone had a ton of fun socializing and laughing with all their former classmates into the late hours of the night. Uraraka had enjoyed the get together very much and she couldn't help but feel like another chapter of her life had begun. Even though in all reality she was just moving a couple hours away, she felt like this move would be the start of something new.

After a couple of days off to get settle in her new apartment and getting to know her neighborhood, it was time to go back to work and that meant getting to know the local police detectives and heroes that would be interacting with them on a regular basis. That led to the current meeting she was attending alongside Ryukyu and Psytempest at the police headquarters. The meeting was filled with police detectives and some local heroes.

"Like I said in the beginning, villain activity have gone down significantly since Darkmask started operating around Asaka. The city never had a major problem with crime but we still had a strong villain presence, including some that had connections or dealings with the League of Villains." The lead detective, Daiki, explained to the new hero arrivals. The detective was a middle aged man with dark hair that was starting to turn grey. He wore a dark blue business suit and a black tie.

"Any known associates?" Ryukyu asked with a serious expression as she looked at the images displayed in on a large screen. It showed a picture of Darkmask on a rooftop. The vigilante was wearing black slacks, dark grey dress shirt with a black sleeveless vest. The rogue justice fighter looked like he worked in a bank or an office if it wasn't by the blank face, kabuki mask he was wearing. The mask was all black with only a white outline for the eyes and mouth. Behind the mask the head was covered by black elastic cloth the hugged his head and ears, leaving his neck exposed.

Daiki shook his head, "none that we can identify. We've seen him a few times with two other unknown vigilantes, but they don't seem to be very active." The middle age man switched to other images showing Darkmask in other scenes. The images switched to a video that seem like it was recorded by a bystander. It showed a fight between the vigilante and a tall, muscled villain. The buildings around were heavily damaged, indicating the fight had been a fairly bad one.

In the video the villain seem to be making one last ditch effort to defeat Darkmask by throwing himself forward and throwing a Hail Mary punch towards the vigilante. Right before the punch was about to make contact, Darkmask caught the punch with both arms and using the momentum of his enemy, he lifter the villain over his shoulder, slamming him hard against the ground. Before the villain could do anything, Darkmask elbowed him hard on the face, knocking the villain unconscious. He then picks up the criminal and throws him towards the police line like a bag of thrash.

"It looks like he's cleaning up your city pretty good." Psytempest said with a small smile, making Uraraka chuckle. Ryukyu looks at them with a serious expressions before looking back at the detective. "How long have this vigilante being operating in the city? Did he came from somewhere else?"

"He's been in operation for about four years. We don't know if he's from the city or came from somewhere else. There's some rumors he used to be part of a local villain group but we never found any evidence other than what some captured villains told us. We honestly don't know anything about him other than what he's done. Even his name was made up by the press, since he never gave himself a name."

"Any areas in which he operates more frequently?" Uraraka asked while putting a finger on her chin.

"He usually avoids the downtown area. We assume it's because most local heroes patrol that area more frequently. He can show up anywhere outside of that."

"I don't know if we already covered this, but what is his quirk?" the gravity hero asked as she looked over the documents she received at the beginning of the brief.

"Enhanced power. But he's a bag of surprises since we've seen him do crazy stuff like launch pressurized air attacks against his opponents, not to mention, he's very fast as well."

The newly arrived heroes nodded while taking in all the information. After a few more minutes of questions, Daiki decided to introduce two local heroes that would be assisting the newly arrived heroes as well as showing them around the city for a few days to help Ryukyu's group get familiar with the patrol areas.

"Now let me introduce you to the top two heroes in Asaka." Daiki said while motioning for another person to come forward. A mountain of a man made of pure muscles walked to the front. "This is pro hero, Bound. He's the top hero in Asaka." The giant mass of muscle smiled. He had short, crew cut black hair and had a chiseled face with grey eyes. He wore an outfit similar to the one from Death Arms but the shirt did not leave the chest or abdomen exposed and it was all black with a red stripe that went down the sleeves and legs, as well as a red utility belt.

"Hello. I'm looking forward to work with all of you." The giant of a man smiled with a small wave.

Psytempest raised an eyebrow and leaned close to Uraraka, "Bound? What kind of name is that?" she asked barely above a whisper. Uraraka just shrugged her shoulders.

Daiki motioned to another person to come forward, "this is our number two. Pro hero, Longwhip." A fairly tall and skinny man with shoulder length grey hair walked to the front. He wore a black trench coat over a dark purple dress shirt and black pants.

Longwhip nodded with a small smile, "Nice to meet two of the most famous heroes." He looked at Psytempest, "sorry miss, I don't think I know anything about you."

Psytempest grinned standing up in excitement, "I'm Psytempest! Recent UA graduate and the newest hero at the Ryukyu hero agency!" She lifted her arms up while looking around the room, "I'm so excited to be here with you all!" Uraraka let out a small laugh turning to her boss, while Ryukyu closed her eyes and pinched the bridge of her nose, slowly shaking her head.

Longwhip looked at the lead detective and then back at Psytempest, "your enthusiasm is…appreciated." Various people in the room chuckled.

"Thank you!" the telekinesis hero said with a bubbly voice. Uraraka grabbed Psytempest's arm forcing her to sit back down.

xxxxxxxxxx

A few days after getting briefed at the police headquarters, Uraraka and Psytempest had started joint patrols with Bound or Longwhip to allow the newly arrived heroes to get a better understanding of the new city and the possible whereabouts of Darkmask, who had been silent for a few weeks according to the local heroes. As much as Ryukyu had said that the local heroes would not be working with them, it appeared that 'them' had no problem patrolling with the newly arrived heroes. It seem like the scene at Asaka was a lot more layback than the heroes from Musutafu initially thought.

Today Uraraka and Psytempest were patrolling with Bound and after five days of patrolling with nothing happening the newly arrived heroes were starting to get used to the low crime activity in the city.

"This place is a lot more relaxed than Musutafu. If it wasn't because all my friends are there I wouldn't mind staying here." Uraraka said with a neutral expression as the trio walked around one of the main districts of the city. As they walked, some people seem to recognize the gravity hero and some seem confused that the 25th ranked hero was patrolling their city. Others seem happy to have such a nationally recognized hero amongst them.

Bound walked between the other two while scanning their surroundings, "yeah, Asaka is a lot smaller than Musutafu. You won't get all the action you guys get over there or in places like Tokyo."

Psytempest looked up at the giant man next to her, "so, Bound. How did you pick your hero name?"

Bound chuckled, "It was kind of like a joke actually."

Uraraka looked up at him with a side smile, "what do you mean?"

"Well, ever since I was in high school I was constantly going to the gym to work out and get stronger and bigger. So all my friends started calling me names like muscles or musclebound." The giant hero laughed a little at the memory, "So when it was time for me to pick a hero name I just picked bound, short for musclebound." Psytempest giggled while Uraraka shook her head with a smile.

As they continue to patrol, they arrived to an area with more commercial activity like banks and offices of different types. As they walked, there was a narrow, one way road in between buildings to their left and suddenly the ground shook slightly, making the heroes stop and look around.

"What was that?" Psytempest asked looking around, then at her companions.

Bound looked down the narrow road to their left, "I'm not sure, but it seem to come from this side." He started walking down the narrow road that looked like it was used for cargo loading and offloading from the buildings on either side. As they were almost half way down to the next block, the ground shook again with a little more force and they stopped.

All of the sudden the wall to their left exploded as the body of a man was thrown out, backwards, about 10 meters ahead of the group. The man's back crashed against the other building with great force, making the man spit out blood as he collapsed on the ground. Almost immediately a dark figure flew out the first wall and smashed his knee violently against the man's face, knocking him out for good.

Before the heroes had time to react the dark figure was lifting the unconscious man by the collar. As he did this Bound finally recognized who it was. "Darkmask!" The vigilante, who was wearing similar clothes as it was shown on the brief, stopped and looked over his right shoulder.

"Hey, Bound!" Darkmask said while still holding the unconscious man by the collar. "What are you-" he suddenly stopped as he saw the two heroes besides the giant man. He stood in silence for a long moment, then he let the unconscious man fall to the ground. "Uravity…never thought I see you around here."

Uraraka maintained a fighting stance, "Just stopped by to say hi."

Bound dropped his fighting stance and stood straight attempting to look relaxed, "You know why we're here, Darkmask." He paused for a second, "let's do this the easy way."

"Yeah, let's do this the easy way, Bound. Walk away, and leave me alone." The masked vigilante said in a neutral tone. "You sure you want to do this again?"

The giant hero shook his head, "come on man, that's not cool."

"We are walking away, and you're coming with us." Uraraka said with a serious expression.

Darkmask stood in silence for a long moment, then sighed, "Let's get one thing straight. You're not arresting me. So just go ahead and leave."

Uraraka gritted her teeth with a frown, "We'll see about that!" she launched forward towards Darkmask as fast as she could. Bound was a little surprised but follow after her. As Uraraka was almost to her target, Darkmask grabbed the unconscious villain next to him faster that either hero could register and threw the body at the gravity hero with great force. Before Uraraka could react the body slammed against her and she flew back past her original spot.

Almost immediately, Darkmask threw himself forward against a surprised Bound, hitting him with a vicious shoulder slam and the giant hero crashed down, sliding back a few feet. Psytempest stretched her arms in front of her and two trash containers the size of a small car crashed against Darkmask, who barely had time to stretch his own arms to stop the containers from trapping him in the middle.

After a second of struggling against the force of Psytempest telekinesis, the masked vigilante jumped up and the two trash containers crashed against each other. Immediately Darkmask landed and punched one of the containers towards Psytempest who barely had time to use her telekinesis to stops the container a few inches from her face. Darkmask punched the other container towards a recuperating Uraraka who jumped out of the way right before impact.

As Bound was starting to get up, Darkmask punched the air, sending a massive blast of air towards the heroes, who struggle against the sudden onslaught of pressurized air. Seeing the need to escape before all three heroes attacked again, Darkmask did a massive jump and landed on the roof of one of the buildings.

As all three heroes recovered and looked up, Darkmask gave them a mock military salute with two fingers and bounded out of their field of vision. To say that Uraraka was frustrated was a big understatement.

"Damn it!" the gravity hero kicked the overturned trash container next to her. "This is not how I thought our first encounter would go down!"

Psytempest shook her head in disbelief, "that guy knows what he's doing."

"Now you know why we haven't been able to arrest him. That man is strong and knows how to control the fight." Bound said as he put some restrains on the unconscious villain on the ground. "I honestly miss the days we didn't have to worry about him. But the new mayor really wants him off the streets."

Uraraka exhaled in frustration. If she struggled to do anything against Darkmask with the help of two other heroes, she would have a really hard time getting the vigilante by herself. As she thought about this she knew Ryukyu would not be happy. After all, she did told Uraraka that she saw her contract to arrest the vigilante as an easy one. Shaking her head she leaned against a wall, while Bound called the police to secure the area. The gravity hero, pulled out her phone to call her boss and give her the bad news. This day was definitely not going as planned.
