It seemed like a somewhat normal day in Mafia Town. Most of the Mafia goons were doing their own daily routines like they always do in this town. A small red-hooded, mustached girl was trying to stop the Mafia goons that were messing around with one of the clerks who worked in Seaside Spaghetti. The little girl wanted to step in to stop their meddling but somehow, she couldn't do it. She was just too scared to step in. She drew a long sigh as she walked away, feeling guilty and regretful not helping someone out. The child went back to her hideout space, moping and tired.

Far away from the hideout and into the town was a guest. They were wearing a cape-like hood and some short plain aerobatic outfit, walking in dark brown boots. Their tail was poking out from behind, obviously making it visible. No one knows who this strange creature was but some say that their really a ghost, a wandering living spirit. As they walk down the paths leading to different parts of the town, the mafia goons started staring confusedly, wondering what or who they are. They didn't have their hood up, showing weird ears that stood up like how an animal's ears would do. The spirit didn't pay much attention as they were busy sightseeing around the place, humming a small tune they know. Out of nowhere, they started hearing someone was… crying?
They checked the place and came to see the little hut the mustached child made, out in the open.

"Hey, small one… You crying?" The creature asked them. The child looked up and was startled by them. She quickly rubbed the tears away from her eyes. "N-no..! I wasn't! I never cry!" The child pouted. The spirit looked at her, raising an eyebrow. "Well, you definitely were… Something the matter?" The spirit sat beside her. It took awhile for the child to speak till she started talking about how she hated the mafia and how they ruined her homeland here on this island. The spirit was listening to her ramblings, nodding along at times. As much they didn't know about this place or what it used to be, they could somehow relate being annoyed to all the mafias just trashing up the town and making a mess everywhere, especially if you lived there too. "Well… Does the mafia have a boss? Have you tried asking why they showed up on this island and took over it?" The spirit asked. The small girl sniffed. "Yeah but it was no use… I only made a fool of myself. But I tried showing them that I meant business!"
The spirit looked at her funny but pushed it off as they saw that this little girl had gone through enough and could see pain in her eyes.

"Well… How about this, you try confronting them. Tell them something else, something that you really wanna say. BUT, it has to come from what your heart says instead of your mind. I know you want to show how tough and not scared you are but… It's best to listen to what your heart has to say first. " The hooded girl looked at them confused but they knew what they were saying was probably true. She wiped her tear-stained face. "Okay. I'll do just that then!" She stood up proud. The spirit softly smiles at her and gets up. "Think it's time for me to head out. But hey, just remember to be brave and listen to your heart, kid." They said. Before they could leave, the hooded child stopped them to give them something. "H-hey, wait! Uhm, I want you to have this, as a thanks." She gave them what seems to be a shiny hourglass. The spirit didn't know exactly what they're supposed to do with it but they kindly take it. "Thanks, I'll keep it protected." They said to her. Out of nowhere, the hooded girl hugged them. "You're welcome! Thanks so much…" They could feel her tear up again. They hugged back and afterwards left.
