This is part of a Big Time Rush forum challenge and I'm so glad that I was told about it. I had a lot of fun writing this and this is my first Big Time Rush fanfic! I would like to thank downtonabbey15 for informing me of this challenge.

"Tell me baby, do you feel it too?", Carlos finished off their new song, "Lost in Love". The four boys looked at their producer to see what he thought.

"Well," he began, "It wasn't bad-" His sentence was broken by a small celebration from the band. Gustavo cleared his throat and got the boys' attention, "But, it wasn't good." Gustavo stood and walked away, leaving the boys with Kelly.

"Don't worry guys", she said, "Gustavo is in an extra bad mood today. You did great!" She smiled at them before approaching her boss.

"So", Kendall said to the three other boys, "Wanna go get pizza after this?" Immediately, all of them were very excited for the end of rehearsal.

Gustavo came back and sat down with Kelly at his heels. "One more time, from the top. This will be the last time we do this song today." He said it a little forcefully, as if he was told to say it (which he obviously was).

The music started and Carlos was about to start singing when the building began to rumble a bit.

"Everyone", Logan began, "Out! Get out!" He pushed them out and they all made it out of the recording booth.

The rumble had grown and it was making it hard for them to walk. They continued forward and tried to find the exit as dust and wood rained down on them.

"Cover your head!" Kelly shouted over the noise.

"Just make sure my face is covered!" James put in, "I cannot get any scratches or bruises! It will ruin my perfect complexion!"

They ignored James and continued to make their way clumsily towards the doors at the front of Rocque Records. The building began collapsing in on itself and they still had to go down another flight of stairs and down a hallway to get to the doors. Logan tripped and cut his knees on the broken glass on the floor.

The group stopped for him but Logan only asked for James to stay (since he was the strongest of them all). He stood up and James lent him his shoulder to lean on. He leaned on his friend's shoulder as they slowly made their way down the stairs.

"There's no way we'll get out before this place crumbles on us and my beautiful face!" James said, "Logan, I'm gonna carry you to the doors so we're faster!" Logan nodded and they readjusted their position.

James took off down the hallway and ran towards the doors with Logan on his back. The door was right there and James ran as fast as he could with the extra weight on his were halfway down the hall when another large quake shook the building and the two frightened boys heard a large cracking noise. An especially large beam fell to the floor in front of them and hit the windows, causing glass to explode out of the frames and into the hallway. They covered their heads and faces as the glass shards sliced open their arms and well, pretty much everything else.

"Okay James," Logan said, "We just gotta make it out before the entrance gets covered. You carry me one your back so l can dangle my legs to help push us forward." James nodded. "Now, go!"

James started running down the hallway with the shorter boy helping him push along and they neared the entrance as dust and broken wood chips rained down on them, giving them painful splinters and small cuts. He pushed the front doors of Roque Records open and sprinted outside with all of the strength that was left in his muscles. He stopped when he found the rest of the group and set Logan down onto the pavement.

"What happened back there?" Kelly asked them, worry very evident in her voice. She looked from the boys, to Gustavo, then to the destroyed record building.

They all turned and watched as the earthquake shook the building apart then slowly died down. All around them people were staring at destroyed buildings and homes. Some were in plain shock, others were crying, some were angry. So many different people around them. Kendall looked and saw a mom holding her daughter's hand then one thought came into his head..

"Guys! The Palmwoods!" He looked to Gustavo and asked, "Hey Gustavo, can you drive us back to the Palmwoods because Logan's the only one who can drive but my mom brought us here so we have no ride."

Gustavo sighed a small "Yes", and the boys ran over to the car and squished in, leaving the passenger seat for Kelly. Gustavo buckled his seatbelt and drove off as fast as the speed limit would allow him.

They arrived at the Palmwoods not too long after and saw the building was also destroyed. Kendall had hoped that it would not be in bad shape but it was. Almost every window was shattered and bricks were falling from the walls. He looked around nervously until he found his mom holding Katie's hand as they sprinted out of the crumbling building. When they got out of the Palmwoods, the four boys ran over to them, ignoring their own ailments to embrace their "mom".

"I'm so glad you're okay!" Kendall said as he cried. But these were good tears, tears of joy. He was so relieved that his family was okay.

"I'm glad you all made it out with just minor cuts and bruises! It's just so amazing that my boys are okay!" She pulled them into another hug and pulled Katie into this one.

"Where are we gonna live now?" Carlos asked, "The Palmwoods is destroyed as bad as every other building here." He looked to Mrs. Knight and she had a sad smile on her face.

"I don't know yet, but I know that we can come up with something until the buildings are rebuilt."

Gustavo and Kelly approached the group as they finished their family moment and Kelly poked Gustavo, making him say, "I have a guest house near my mansion if it's not destroyed…" He stopped and Kelly poked him again, "I guess you can stay there until the Palmwoods is fixed." He let out a sigh and looked at Kelly. "Was that good enough? It better be because I'm not saying it again." Kelly sighed and nodded.

The boys' faces lit up and they turned back to Mrs. Knight. She smiled and looked at Gustavo.

"Thank you so much! I was getting worried that we would have to go back to Minnesota." She pulled her car keys out of her pocket and said, "Well, we better go check on that guest house!"

The boys and Katie piled into the car and Mrs. Knight followed Gustavo to his mansion.

They got there and they realized that they had never known how far Gustavo's mansion was from the Palmwoods. It seemed to be in good shape though some bricks were missing from the walls and a few of the windows were broken. He got out of his car and led them to the guest house. It was in about the same condition that the mansion was in and Mrs. Knight was thrilled.

"Well," James said, "Now we get to stay in a nice guest house which probably has amazing lighting in the bathroom so I can make my hair even more glamorous!"

"The kitchen is gonna be great and we can have corn dogs for every meal!" Carlos chimed in. Logan rolled his eyes at his friends' comments and tried to hide his laughter by coughing.

They entered the house and looked around in awe. It was huge and lit up by a beautiful glass chandelier.

"How long will it take to fix the Palmwoods and Roque Records?" Logan asked. The three adults looked at each other and shrugged.

"We don't know but hope it won't take too long because you guys need to get back to recording soon." Kelly said.

Kendall, James, Carlos, Logan, Katie, and Mrs. Knight moved in, hoping they could get back to the Palmwoods soon.

Weeks had passed and it was announced that it was finally safe to go back to the Palmwoods. They thanked Gustavo for letting them stay in his guest house and they drove back to the Palmwoods. They drove past Roque Records to see how it was doing and it looked to be halfway finished. They got to the Palmwoods and went inside. Hopefully they could be able to go back to their normal lives soon.

I'm not gonna lie, I kinda forgot about this story for a while but when I was doing my English homework, I realized that I had forgotten about this and I went into a panic because I forgot when it was supposed to be published. The story might be a little rushed at the end but y'all know that I SUCK at endings so there's no surprise there. Please review so I can get some corrections or maybe story recommendations. Thanks for reading!

God bless,
