Darklighter USA: Good point, and that will be addressed here. :)

Everyone watched eagerly to see how much damage had been done to Marowak, but when the dust settled, Marowak was standing perfectly fine, while Hawlucha struggled to get up. However, no one was more surprised by what they saw than Ash.

They all watched as the dust settled, revealing a confused, but otherwise healthy marowak, and an injured Hawlucha, struggling to get up.

Kukui's eyes widened in disbelief. Here was a trainer, who, just minutes before, had revealed an impossibly massive and powerful charizard, followed by an actual legendary, had just used a fighting type move on a ghost type.

He chuckled. Only Ash.

Mallow sighed. In all of this, we've forgotten how forgetful he is. Looking over at Pikachu, she wasn't exactly surprised to see the little electric type giggling in Tia's arms, who looked like she was trying to hold in a giggle of her own.

Lillie frowned. When her classmate had brought out the fighting type against Marowak, she had assumed he had some sort of plan. Obviously, she had overestimated him.

Which is fair she thought, looking at the girl holding Pikachu, who had just finished her own battle, and had rejoined the mouse in the stands in her human form, and was currently trying to resist joining the electric type in his incessant giggling.

She sighed. This is going to be an interesting battle.

Several minutes later

The rest of the battle did not go well for the raven haired trainer. Although he and Hawlucha put up a good fight, the fighting-flying type simply didn't have many moves that could do damage to Kiawe's Marowak.

"Hawlucha is unable to battle!"

Ash returned his Kalosian pokemon, thanking him for the battle, before bringing out Charizard. Kukui nodded, before throwing down his arm, beginning the battle.

Kiawe narrowed his eyes, his gaze focused on the massive fire type facing Marowak.

I need to be careful he thought, frowning. However, before he could order an attack, Ash yelled out a command.

"Charizard, take to the sky!" The massive fire type nodded, and spread his wings, before leaping into the air.

Before Kiawe could call out a move, Ash yelled out to Charizard.

"Use flamethrower, then dragon claw!"

Kiawe cried out. "Dodge, Marowak!" However, it was too late, and while the fire-ghost type evaded the collom of flames spewed by Charizard, it was hit across the face by dragon claw, instantly knocking it out.

Kukui threw down his arm. "Marowak is unable to battle, which means the victory goes to Ash!"

Later that day

"Class dismissed!"

As she packed up her stuff, Lillie glanced at Ash, who was currently watching Pikachu interact with his Charizard.

Several of the class' pokemon had accumulated around the two, wanting to get to know the massive fire type.

She had been wondering if her brother could beat some of Ash's older pokemon, but before she could voice her question, Pikachu's ears perked up, and he disengaged from the group of pokemon and jumped onto the railing overlooking the school yard.

He then cried out a happy greeting, making Lillie wonder who it was. Ash also seemed to be curious, and went to see what his starter was so excited about. When he got there, his eyes lit up.

Here's the next chapter! I hope you enjoyed it.
