AN: Just a reminder, I have a Pa tree on. It's under the same name as what I use here, so feel free to check it out. Some benefits for supporting me include stuff like shout outs, getting the chapter a bit early, a wholehearted thank you, and special Discord privileges. Also, I have a Discord server. The code is JtsBGHP and we talk about some of my stories (Including some spoilers to said stories), other fanfictions, memes, video games, and the like. If you are new to Discord, instructions on how to use that code should be in Chapter 1 or 2. I forget which.

I was working on writing down everything I could remember about other dimensional threats when I got a call from Batman.
"Howdy." I answer the phone to explosions and destruction coming from the other end of the line.
"Amazo." Batman growls simply. "Strengths and Weaknesses. Now."
Oh shit.
"Umm… Android with elf ears or Oscars Statue?" I ask nervously as I frantically try to remember everything I can about the android.
"Elf Ears." Batman replies as a robotic voice says something in the background, followed by another explosion.
"Shit, okay. Made by a Professor Ivo, He can mimic powers, so the more people who fight him, the more dangerous he becomes." I answer quickly. "Some versions of Amazo also copy weaknesses, so if he's copied Superman, you'd need Kryptonite or something. Alternatively, test to see if he can use more than one power at a time. If not, you can probably catch him while he switches between powers. I don't think he can copy magic, but I'm not sure on that, so probably don't test that."
With a grunt, he hangs up, but not before I hear an explosion in the background.
"Well… That's not good." I mutter under my breath as I stare at the blank screen of my WayneTech phone.
Staring at my notes for a moment longer, I just sigh and toss down my pen. Well, there went my motivation.
I needed to find out what everyone was doing anyway. Maybe I can pick Wally's mind about the Speed Force. He's been too busy with the Flash for me to actually sit down and have a discussion with, and I've been too lazy to just call him up.
Maybe I should get him to bring Barry over? Ask him about the Speed Force?
It's not really that high on my list of priorities though. I could check up on Super-
Connor. I could check up on Connor.
Unfortunately, he's still angry, that much I could sense from across Mount Justice. Spite and I had been training our newfound Telepathic abilities, something that M'gann was extremely happy with. It worked really well as a sonar of sorts, detecting who was in the mountain.
Didn't work so well on Red Tornado though.
But for the rest of the Team, it worked pretty well.
We still needed a better name.
Anyway, Connor was still pissed off at Superman and had basically self isolated himself. Refusing any company, and any telepathic attempt at speaking was met with the psychic equivalent of a slamming door. He even ended up tossing out the leather jacket I got him.
Hurtful, but I guess I can understand why. I did end up salvaging it from its fate though, It now resided in my closet.
What can I say, i'm not one to throw money away.
So Connor was out of the question for a moment, hopefully he'd open up soon, but for now, I'd give him his space.
Besides, He'd have to show up for our first team combat training later this afternoon. I could check on him then.
Maybe I can talk to Aqualad about Atlantis? It was just a myth in my world, so that would be interesting. I could talk to him about Magic too. Not to get back home, I don't think Atlantean Magic covers that, and if it did, I think Aqualad said something about dropping out of the magic school in order to work with Aquaman.
Frankly, I had no idea what to do.
I had debated on whether I should start writing again, but considering this universe is real, did that make every other dimension that I wrote about real? Or did me writing make new universes exist?
Regardless, even if none of that were true, it was still weird thinking about, so I ended up waiting when it came to my writing. At least for a little while.
"Whatever you're going to do, do it faster. Your internal monologue is annoying."
"I was not monologuing, I was debating my options." I mutter a reply.
"Monologuing with a purpose is still monologuing. Choose something and do it." Spite counters.
"Alright, what would you do?"
I could feel that sarcastic raised eyebrow.
"What would you do that doesn't involve eating people?" I amend my statement.
"Well, I am hungry. Do they have Tater Tots in the kitchen?"
"I… don't know." I reply with a shrug.
Alright, first thing on the agenda, get a snack.
/
"I am not eating them frozen!" I reprimand Spite as I put the tater tots in the microwave. "You can wait a few minutes."
"But I'm hungry now!"
"Then starve." I reply. "You won't die in the five minutes it takes to heat these up."
"I might." Spite grumbles.
As we banter, M'gann walks into the kitchen and searches through the fridge for a moment before sighing in frustration.
"Something the matter?" I ask her.
"Oh! Alan! Spite! I didn't realize you two were in here…" She trails off.
"Did you need the kitchen to yourself?" I tie up the tater tots we weren't heating up and pass it over to M'gann so she can put it up.
"No… It's just… I'm worried about Superboy." She sighs as she puts the tater tots away. "Ever since he went to Metropolis, he's been distant. I've tried reaching out to him, but he keeps shutting me out."
"It's Connor now. He gave up the Superboy name." I correct her as I lean against the counter. "He's just going through some things, reevaluating who he is. Just give him time."
"What happened? In Metropolis, I mean?"
"Not my place to share. Besides, I don't even know the full story. If he wants you to know, he'll share." I shrug.
"But he won't even talk to me!" she complains with a pout. "I've tried talking to him normally, I've tried knocking on his door, I've even tried talking to him telepathically! He just keeps blocking me out…"
"Again, just give him time. When he's ready to talk, he'll talk. All you'll do by bugging him is make him isolate himself for longer." I reply as the microwave dings, letting me know the tater tots are done. "Besides, you have to remember, he's what? Two, three months old? He may look sixteen, but he was force fed information, never experiencing anything for himself. He is essentially a baby. I mean that in the best way possible, but he's a child. He's not going to want to talk for a while."
Pulling them out, Spite immediately snatches one of the plate and sucks it into a mouth he forms on my shoulder.
"Rude." I mutter as I grab one and pop it into my mouth.
With a sigh, M'gann floats out of the kitchen, leaving Spite and I alone again.
"She won't leave him alone." Spite says simply, as if he were stating a fact. And really? He probably was.
"Nope." I nod as I toss another tater tot into my mouth only for Spite to snatch it out of the air. "Seriously dude?"
"Yup."
/
About four hours later we were all hanging out in the main chamber, Wally and Kaldur were playing Air Hockey on a holographic table, Robin, M'gann, and I watching as Wally scores yet another goal as he holds a banana in his hand.
"Ready for training, everyone?" We all hear from the direction of the main entrance to the Cave. Glancing over, I raise my eyebrow at the three people walking towards us.
Two of the three faces were familiar, one of them actually kicked my ass earlier this week, and the other is my supposed mentor while i'm here, but the third, even without meeting her before, I could recognize the familiar costume that she sported.
Black leather jacket, fishnet stockings, combat boots, and long blond hair.
This was Dinah Lance. Otherwise known as-
"Black Canary! Uncle J'onn!" M'gann says with a grin as she runs over and gives J'onn a big hug.
"Mr. Grant?" I ask with a grin as I give him a handshake. "I didn't know you were coming."
"Yeah, well. I wanted to make sure whatever the League was teaching y'all was up to snuff. " He replies with a shrug. "And just call me Ted, okay?"
After introductions were made, Black Canary looks around for a moment before speaking.
"Where's Superboy? This is a Team training exercise, that means everyone is supposed to be here."
"He goes by Connor now. He's still looking for a name that separates him from Superman." I correct her with a shrug as Spite and I telepathically reach out to Connor. "And he's in his room. Been there since his trip to Metropolis."
'Connor. Black Canary's here for Team Training. Do you want to join us?' I telepathically ask him as Black Canary raises an eyebrow at my response.
"Regardless, this is for the whole team. I'd appreciate it if he were here." She replies verbally as Superboy merely grunts telepathically.
Nodding, we send out another telepathic nudge towards Connor and wait for a response.
A few minutes later, Connor does show up, but instead of his usual black shirt with the red Superman Shield, he's instead wearing a plain black shirt. No symbol in sight.
"Good, now that we're all here." Black Canary nods before walking to the center of the chamber, activating the holodeck (I really need to learn what it was called.) with a slight tap of her foot. "I consider it an honor to be your teacher. I'll throw a lot at you, everything I've learned from my mentor-" At this she nods at Ted and starts taking off her jacket, aggravating a wound on her arm and causing her to grunt in pain. "And my own bruises."
"What happened?" M'gann asks in worry.
"The job." Black Canary replies simply before getting into the lesson. "Now, Combat is about controlling conflict, putting the battle on your terms. You should always be acting, never reacting. Now, I'll need a sparring partner."
"Oh! Right here! Yeah!" Wally offers as he sticks his hand into the air. Still holding a banana in his hand. Taking a bite out of it, he tosses it into a nearby trash can. "After this, I'll show you my moves."
That… That was cringe worthy.
Without any warning, Black Canary goes in with a feint before ducking down and kicking his feet out from under him, watching as he hits the ground with a thud.
That… theoretically shouldn't have happened.
"Oww… Hurts so good."
"Good block." Black Canary praises as she helps him up. "But did anyone see what he did wrong?"
"Ooh, ooh! He hit on a teacher and got served?" Robin smirks.
"Dude!" Wally stage whispers back at him.
"He didn't use his speed. I thought speedsters could react faster than what he did. If he was using his speed, in theory, you wouldn't be able to touch him. Much less do what you did." I reply
"Oh, umm… My speed doesn't work that way." Kid Flash responds as he rubs the back of his head. "I have to be moving for me to react that fast. The Flash can do it while standing still, but I can't."
That made no sense.
Before I could voice that, Black Canary cuts in.
"He allowed me to dictate the terms of the-"
"Oh please. With my powers, the battle's always on my terms." Connor scowls. "I'm a living weapon, and this is a waste of my time."
"Prove it." Black Canary smirks as she challenges him.
"Ooh, this should be interesting." Spite grins.
"This is not going to end well." I mutter back.
As they get into a fighting stance, I could only wonder if Canary was that confident in her skills or stupid enough to take on a Kryptonian.
Throwing a punch, Connor tries to make the first move, but Canary was ready. She dodges out of the way and grabs him by the arm, throwing him over her shoulder, expecting him to land on his back.
Instead of following her expectations, Connor stops himself midair with his flight and rockets back at Canary with an impressive show of speed.
"Good, you're using your powers to your advantage." She says as she sidesteps his charge. Grabbing him by the arm again, she redirects him straight at the floor, forcing him to crash in a heap. "But you're still reacting."
Growling, Connor gets back to his feet, Robin laughing in the background.
"You're angry, good. But don't react, channel that anger into-"
With a roar, he charges her, swinging a fist at her head.
As I step forward, to do what, I don't know, Ted puts his hand on my chest and nods back at the ring.
"She can handle herself." He assures me.
"Against a Kryptonian?" I question, but nonetheless stand down.
Ducking under his swing, she pulls the same move she pulled with Wally and knocks his legs out from under him, forcing him to hit the floor.
"That's it! I'm done." Connor growls as he gets up, pushing her outstretched hand away.
"Training is mandatory." she replies, getting a frustrated grunt in response.
As soon as the words get out of her mouth, a siren can be heard throughout the cave. Within a few seconds, a giant, holographic screen pops up revealing Batman.
"Batman to the cave." He starts as everyone gathers round. "Five hours ago, a new menace attacked Green Arrow and Black Canary. The Attacker was capable of studying, then duplicating the powers of his opponents"
As he says this, the holoscreen changed to show a picture of the attacker. Amazo. A large, humanoid android that looked like a caucasian male with red hair and short red hair. At least this version looked more robotic than the comic version of the character.
The comic version almost looks too human.
The picture zooms out and switches to a video of Amazo catching Superman by the arms and using him as a weapon, slamming Superman into Red Tornado and then the Flash before throwing Superman away and copying his heat vision to destroy an incoming Batarang.
"Arrow called in reinforcements, which nearly proved disastrous as our foe gained more and more power with each new combatant."
"Whoa…" Wally mutters. "One guy with the powers of the entire League?"
"In the end, it took eight leaguers four hours to defeat and dismantle the Android."
"An Android?" Robin asks. "W-who made it? T.O. Morrow?"
"Good guess, Robin. But Red Tornado doesn't think so, and I have other sources that imply that the Android was developed by Professor Ivo."
"Ivo?" Aqualad asks. "But Ivo's dead."
"So we all thought, or hoped." Black Canary replies.
"To make certain this threat is permanently neutralized, We're sending two trucks carrying the androids parts to two separate STAR Labs facilities in Boston and New York for immediate evaluation." Batman explains. "Every precaution is being taken, we'll have four additional decoy trucks to create confusion in case Ivo, or anyone, tries to recover the remains. You will split into undercover teams to safeguard the two real trucks."
"Yes! Road trip!' Wally cheers.
"So now we take out your trash?" Connor growls.
"You had something better to do?" Batman cuts back.
Hearing a beep, Kaldur glances down at his phone before turning to the rest of us.
"Coordinates received. On our way."
Why do I get the feeling that this is going to get interesting?
/
It didn't take long for us to prepare, all of us changed into different colored motorcycle outfits corresponding with our costume aesthetic.
M'gann didn't even change her skin from green to a less conspicuous color.
So much for undercover.
We each got our own motorcycle as well, and by god was I keeping this. I don't care if they want it back, this thing is beautiful. Bronze, black, and sleek.
'Maybe you should ask it on a date if you like it so much?' Spite mentally asks.
"Oh shut up. It's a beautiful piece of machinery. Even you need to respect that."
We all ended up driving the motorcycles to the coordinates and hid out behind some trees while the League and Star Labs boxed up the pieces and loaded them into the trucks.
Once the trucks took off, we followed closely behind them. Connor, Robin, and I following one group of trucks while Wally, M'gann, and Kaldur followed the other group.
"If like is the opposite of dislike, then is aster the opposite of disaster?" Robin asks after we've been following the trucks for a while, the two fake trucks having pulled off a previous exit a short ways back. "See, instead of things going wrong, they go right!"
"Linguistically, I don't think Aster is a thing, but new words are being made every day. So I could be wrong. What about you, Connor? What do you think?" I reply before glancing at Connor.
He merely grunts in response.
"Clearly, you're not feeling the aster." Robin directs at Connor. "What's wrong?"
"Canary." He replies with a scowl. "I mean, what business does she have teaching combat skills to a guy with super strength?"
"Taking down strong guys is part of the gig, she learned that the hard way, same with Batman and well, me." Robin explains.
"Arguably, yeah." I cut in. "But I doubt she'd be able to help him utilize that strength like someone who has super strength, someone like Wonder Woman or Martian Manhunter. She's what? Athletic Human levels of strength? Connor is, while not as strong as Superman, still stronger than any human without enhancements."
"Well, yeah, maybe, but she can still teach him the basics."
"How? Any choke hold she puts me in, I can break out of. Anything she does to me, I can just tank." Connor asks.
"It's why I mentioned Wonder Woman and Martian Manhunter." I point out. "I'm not going to ask what happened between you and Superman, but besides him, Manhunter and Wonder Woman would be your best bets for a mentor. Wonder Woman has the strength, durability, and skill needed to train you without fear of getting injured and Manhunter has many of the same skill sets, plus telepathy, so he can help you train your new powers."
"I still don't like telepathy." Connor grunts.
"Regardless, it's a power you have at your disposal. It would be like Robin not using his batarangs because he accidentally cut himself on one."
Suddenly, from behind us, we could hear something… weird.
Laughing.
Flying around us, robotic monkeys swarmed the truck and landed on the sides, roof, and back of the truck.
Through our comms, Aqualad warns us of their own troubles.
"Robin, Connor, Spite, our truck is under attack!"
"Yeah, we coulda guessed that one." I mutter.
"I hate monkeys." Connor growls.
"Robot monkeys! Ha ha! Totally Ivo's tweaked style." Robin grins as he presses a button on his bike, shifting it into a unicycle as the back shifts and turns into an attack drone.
"Okay, that's bullshit." I grin as Spite shifts over me, a tendril lashing out and slamming a monkey aside before grabbing a hold of the truck.
As much as I love the motorcycle, I am not that good of a driver to drive it in battle mode.
Pulling myself aboard, I watch as Superboy and Robin follow my lead, or more accurately, Superboy jumped off his bike and forced Robin to abandon his as their bikes crash.
"Finally, some fun!" Spite grins as we get to work.
Creating several tendrils out of my back and arms, we lash out whenever one gets to close, piercing through it and throwing them at their brethren.
Robin was holding onto the back of the truck, knocking off any who tried getting in with his batons and basically holding on for dear life.
Connor had a more direct, hands on approach of grabbing them as they came near and smashing them.
"You know, you have heat vision. You could just zap them out of the sky." I point out to him as he rips a monkey off his back and slams it down on the truck. As his eyes burn red, the monkey beats him to the punch, shooting a green beam of energy out of its eyes and into Connors.
"AARGH!" He yells as he grips his eyes. The monkeys then swarm him and pick him up, flying him into the air before dropping him onto the road.
"They took out our heavy hitter." I warn Robin as I duck a couple lasers.
"You're our heavy hitter!" Robin exclaims as he flips onto the truck, batting away monkeys as he went.
"I know that, I mean… You know what, never mind. Just remind me to help Him figure out a decent replacement code name."
"Aah, got it!" Robin replies as Connor landed on the back of the truck. It looked like he used his hearing to guide him as he had his eyes screwed tightly shut.
With a slight booming noise, like the popping of a balloon, the truck lost control, swerving left and right.
Robin immediately got to the front and grabbed the driver, making them both jump out into the corn fields surrounding us while I grabbed ahold of Connor and jumped off the back, allowing the truck to crash without anyone getting injured.
As soon as the flipped truck came to a stop, the back of it exploded, revealing a swarm of the monkeys carrying the Amazo parts.
With a growl, Connor broke my grip on him and took of after the androids and our cargo.
"Wait!" I yell after him as he flies off.
Great.
Just great.
Glancing down, I notice a broken monkey android crawling by my feet.
'Spite… How good are you with computers?'
/
"Since when could Spite hack and reprogram androids?" Robin asks after we had changed into our official uniforms and we started driving towards the coordinates given by Robin's hacking skills. Spite and I had attempted to do something similar, and we did succeed, but our plan was less take the information from the monkey, more reprogram the monkey to lead us to our destination.
Needless to say, we ended up going with Robin's information. On the plus side, I now have a pet robot monkey.
I named him Screech.
"Earth tech is good, but it's nothing compared to some of the stuff Spite has dealt with." I reply with a smirk as Screech perched on my shoulder, giggling as we followed the signal into Gotham City.
"Dude, tell me you didn't take one of those things as a pet?" Kid Flash runs up beside us. According to Robin, Aqualad and Miss Martian would be catching up shortly.
"He did. Named it Screech too!" Robin laughs.
"You've gotta be kidding me, why?!" Kid Flash asks.
"In my defense, I was trying something like Robin, hack it and get information from it, but by the time I finished, Robin had already finished and changed, so my plan wasn't needed!"
Spite merely chuckled at the memory.
"Of course you did." Kid Flash fake sighs with a grin. "So, where's it headed Rob?"
"Well, they were heading through Gotham, but they veered." Robin explains as he watches the GPS signal on his bike's computer. "Wait… Dude, they're at Gotham Academy!"
"That's your- I mean…" Kid Flash starts before stuttering as he glances at me.
"Guys, stop. I know who Robin is under the mask. You can stop stressing out about it." I shake my head at their antics. "Right now we have bigger things to worry about, like making sure the parts don't get put back together, and making sure Connor doesn't do something stupid."
"Wait, how do you-"
"You aren't the only you I know." I reply with a shrug, not technically lying. Just fudging a few truths.
I really can't wait for the day that I can share that I'm from another universe, my universe, instead of lying about being from another DC Earth.
"Wait, you knew the me from your universe?"
"Sort of? I knew who a lot of the heroes were in my universe. After I became a hero, I got to know them and treat them as allies."
'Incredible. Everything you said is technically true while also being completely false.'
'Please shut up.' I mentally reply.
"That is so weird." Kid-Flash mutters as we head towards Robin's school. "So that's why you thought my speed worked that way during training! Because my doppelganger could do it?"
"Well, yeah. I'm still baffled by why you can't though. I mean, the best I can figure is that your Speed Force connection is somehow incomplete, but hey, I'm not the Speed Force expert here." I joke.
"Umm… What's the Speed Force?"
"You're joking." I stare at Wally as he looks at me with a confused look on his face. "You're not joking, alright then. This is a conversation for after we finish the mission."
"Turn here." Robin orders. "The school's up ahead on the right."
Finding the school, it didn't take long for us to follow the destruction to the gym where Connor was about to get crushed by the android. Screech staying with the motorcycles and keeping a watch out.
Zooming forward, Kid Flash grabs him and drags him away from Amazo's attack, pulling him back towards the doors of the Gym while Robin throws a couple Batarangs to act as cover.
"Access: Martian Manhunter." Amazo says before turning intangible.
"Well then… This should be interesting." I sigh as the Android calls out Red Tornado's name and forms a massive tornado around himself, catching us all in the wind and throwing us around like dolls.
Slamming into the bleachers, I form a sword like construct from my hand and leap towards the Android.
"Access: Captain Atom." He states as he aims at the downed Wally.
Before he could fire, I slash down, trying to remove the offending arm. Instead, he turns at the last second and fires at me, blasting me away and into a wall.
"Fuck…" I groan as I peel myself out of the wall. Before I could do much though, a tendril launches out of my side and yanks me away from another blast from Amazo.
"Access: Black Canary." The Android says before opening its mouth.
No no no no no.
But before he could release the sonic scream, Connor flew into his chest and slammed him into the bleachers.
I could hear the sigh of relief coming from Spite.
"Superman." He states, catching the next blow from Connor and punching him in the face, knocking him back before headbutting him.
Charging forwards again, I duck under his extended Martian Manhunter-ed arms and punch him in the chest and face as hard as I could, doing next to nothing to his durable chasis.
Kicking me back, he calls upon the powers of Superman and grabs up Wally in a bear hug and starts to squeeze.
As Kid Flash starts to yell in pain, I hear the somewhat familiar sound of an arrow piercing through the air.
"Martian Manhunter." The Android states, phasing through the arrow, but dropping Wally in the process.
"Black Canary." Amazo turns and grabs a hold of Connor and judo throws him across the gym before turning to Robin and I, his eyes glowing red as he names the Man of Steel. In a flash, Kid Flash drags us both out of the way before we can get hit.
"We need to take him down before he kills us or takes the building down on us." I growl as I eye the android.
"Think you can do the same thing to it that you did to the monkey?" Robin asks as he draws a few Batarangs.
"I'd need to keep him solid. Keep him from using Manhunter's powers for long enough to get inside him." I explain before Connor starts ignoring Amazo and starts targeting Ivo. yelling about channeling his anger.
Was he in the bleachers the whole time?
Eyes widening, I get an idea.
Could Connor's tactile telekinesis cancel out the phasing?
"I think I have a plan."
"Well whatever it is, you should hurry. Connor's gone ballistic again!"
"I don't think so…" Robin grins as he watches Connor target Ivo, forcing the scientist to call his android to defend him.
'An interesting strategy, forcing your opponent to fight defensively.' Spite mentally nods.
'Congratulate him later. We are going to use this opportunity to reprogram a murderbot.'
Out loud though, I lay out my plan.
"Robin, Kid Flash, help Connor distract him. I'll sneak up behind and try to surprise him."
With their nods, we got to work. Robin and Kid Flash taking on Ivo and by extension keeping Amazo's attention on them while Spite shifted to act as camouflage, allowing me to blend into the background as I snuck up on him.
Right as he accesses the power of Superman and stomps the ground, causing a shockwave that throws Kid Flash off balance, I leap into the air and onto Amazo's back, stabbing my fingers deep into his armor and circuitry.
"No! What are you doing!" Ivo yells as Spite works through the androids coding, rewriting it and rebuilding Amazo into something new.
After a few minutes of this, in which Robin and Kid Flash have apprehended Ivo and Aqualad and Miss Martian have arrived, Spite finally finished working his magic.
"Amazo. What is your primary function?" I ask the android once Spite had retracted his tendrils.
"Protect the Team." The Android intones as he stares blankly ahead."
"We seriously need a different name…" I mutter.
"Holy cow… That actually worked?" Kid Flash asks before belting out in laughter.
"No! Impossible!" Ivo yells as he struggles against Aqualad's grip. His small frame working against him as Aqualad easily holds him in place.
"Not quite." I reply with a grin.
Now… how do I explain this to the League?
/
"You reprogrammed two of Professor Ivo's androids, one of which nearly killed several members of the League, and you want to keep him as a pet?" Batman growls as he glares at me, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter, Green Arrow, and Red Tornado flank him as the team flanked me. Amazo was sitting off to the side, putting together a Lego set I had bought while we were in New York while Screech helped him.
He looked kind of cute if you ignored the fact that he had the power to destroy planets.
"I prefer the term protector, or guardian. A secret weapon that we can use in case we need help against a threat that you, meaning the League, can't help us with for whatever reason." I explain, standing my ground. "I trust what Spite did, he reprogrammed Amazo to be completely and totally loyal to the Team, and by extension, the League. Every mission this team has been on has ended poorly, or at the least, not according to plan. Look at Santa Prisca, a stealth mission! We ended up fighting Sportsmaster, Cobra, and Bane. Today we were meant to take the parts to Star Labs, a quiet mission should have been simple, instead, Ivo stole back the parts and put Amazo back together. If Spite hadn't reprogrammed him, who knows what would have happened."
"Star Labs needs to study him." Batman points out. "Ensure that we have a way to put it down in case Spite's reprogramming doesn't stick."
"You're actually considering this?" Black Canary asks Batman. "That thing nearly killed us, several times over."
"Alan is right. There will be times that the Team will be sent on missions where the League can't interfere for fear of causing an international incident. Amazo has no affiliation with the League, yet possesses all of their strengths." Batman explains before addressing me and the Team. "However, while you may trust Spite's abilities, Amazo will be required to be taken back apart and studied first to ensure that the Android does not have any possible backdoors into it's programming or possible programs that could force it to turn on you, and by extension, us. The same can be said about the M.O.N.Q.I. you named Screech."
"As for the mission, you all performed adequately in light of the unexpected events, and your ability to handle yourself has impressed the League."
"The whole League?" Connor asks, glaring at the floor as if it had offended him.
"Given time, yes. As you know, Kryptonians have very hard heads." Batman nods before addressing the entire team. "Remember, there is no shame in asking for help, it's why the League exists, because there are problems that even we can't handle individually."
"Please! If we needed help, we wouldn't get the chance to ask for it!" Robin complains, pulling out the arrow from earlier and shows it off to the League members. "Look familiar? You were following us, babysitting us! You don't trust us!"
As Batman eyes the arrow, he hands it over to Green Arrow, allowing him to compare it to one of his own.
It was different.
"We weren't following you." Batman states as Robin eyes the two arrows.
"That… is not your arrow." Robin trails off. "But then that means-"
"Speedy!" Wally grins.
"He has our backs." Kaldur smiles.
"Quick question." I cut in. At their glances, I point at the arrow. "Doesn't Speedy use red and yellow as his colorscheme? That arrow isn't his."
"Well… yeah, but if it wasn't Green Arrow, and it wasn't Speedy, then who was it?" Wally asks as he snatches the arrow out of Green Arrows hands. "Souvenir!"
"I don't know." I shrug. "I just hope we get to meet this mystery archer sooner rather than later. I'd like to thank them for helping out."

TBH, I'm not sure about this chapter. Not that it's necessarily bad, but I feel like it could be better. Idk. Next chapter is more training and team bonding! And showing off some threats to Batman. Til Next Time! The Nameless Scribe
