Sweat slowly dripped down his brow, falling to the wooden floor with a sounding thud. His wooden sword moving sharply downward, completing the sequence. Sighing Mori turned and walked towards the changing room, his bare feet quietly padding the ground. Glancing at the clock on the far wall passed the rows of lockers. Seven thirty Honey should be waking up from his nap soon. He quickly changed into his uniform, shifting his tie into place.

That was when he heard it. A strong resounding thwack. Glancing quickly at the clock again, seven thirty-five. He had enough time.

Quickly grabbing his bag, he walked towards the dojo door. Another thwack sounded out. Walking past the kendo dojo further down the path into the woods a smaller dojo appeared in between the trees. The kyudo club, but who was out so early? Club practices normally didn't happen until the afternoon. Was someone trying to break in? Moving quietly around the corner of the building to an open field, one single target stood out on a dirt mound.

There she stood, black hair tied up high, gently blowing in the breeze. An arrow aligned with her chin. Her stance, perfectly even. The tension from the bow pulled sharply on her arms. Her bangs hung low, covering her eyes. A calm breeze blew by, lifting her hair from her face. Gaze sharp and focused in front of her.

Time froze, mesmerized, Mori released a soft "ah". The power of the release created a strong hum from the bowstring. It rushed his senses, filling his ears, the wind blew past his face lifting his hair. When the arrow was released it swirled forward, the air seeming to wrap around it, moving with purpose before it suddenly hit the mark.

Mori's gaze shifted back towards the woman standing on the wooden floor of the open sided dojo. She still held her wide stance, body facing Mori, bow raised, hand poised beside her chin. Gaze never straying from the arrow. Until she gracefully shifted to a comfortable stance, bow by her side.

"It's considered rude to stare," She accused. Mori's eyebrows raised into a subtly surprised expression as her eyes met his. His face quickly returning to normal and swiftly walking away.

He needed to return to Honey before he awoke.

Mori was aware that the school had a kyudo club, but he had never seen it before, or interacted with any of its members. But who was she? Kyoya would surely know if he asked. He had never had a girl talk to him like that, especially at Ouran Academy. She was mesmor-

A sharp bell rang out indicating the entrance ceremony would start shortly, interrupting his thoughts. Mori began to rush; if he didn't hurry up, he and Honey would both be late to the ceremony.

"Takashi!" A cheerful voice whined. Quickly turning Honey launched himself into Mori's arms. "Ne Takashi where are you going? The entrance ceremonies this way!" Honey quickly positioned himself onto Mori's shoulders, pointing in the direction he had come from. Reverting to his senses Mori nodded and continued walking. He had been so lost in thought he had rushed in the opposite direction.

"Ah," was Mori's only mumbled response. The pair eventually arrived at the entrance ceremony, taking their seats.

Today commenced the start of their final year at Ouran Academy. The thought of this was daunting, as Mori remembered he would have to decide what he was to do after high school, and soon. He had always imagined himself following Honey, but as they grew older the reality that this would not be possible loomed over his head. But what would he do? Would Honey be alright?

"This is so exciting, isn't it Takashi!" Honey quietly exclaimed, squeezing Usa-chan tightly and looking up to meet Mori's eyes. The taller senior simply nodded, before returning his attention to the front as the president concluded his speech and encouraged everyone to have a great year. The day continued as any other school day would.

In History, Mori couldn't seem to pay attention, blankly staring out the classroom window. A white bird flew swiftly by, landing on a nearby tree branch. Its wings stretched out, settled softly by its side. Mori's eyes softened as he was reminded of the girl from early that morning. The bird seemed to read his thoughts and quickly flew away, letting out a high pitched chirp. Following it's movement's, the bird flew out of sight. His gaze found the young girl that occupied the quiet seniors' thoughts, walking on the stone path towards the west campus, struggling to carry a large stack of paper. Her small steps compensating for the weight of the papers, hands shifting in discomfort. Even though she was clearly struggling, she carried on, before disappearing from view. Mori narrowed his eyes in disapproval; the stack of papers was too much for her, he reasoned. She would eventually drop them without help.

Honey's eyes lingered on Mori with concern, something had been bothering his cousin all day. He had originally assumed it was due to the fact it was their final year at Ouran, but that didn't seem right. As Mori's eyes narrowed, Honey attempted to see what was out the window to no avail. Had something happened that morning? Mori had been late getting him from his nap, but what could it have been?

Soon the bell rang ending classes for the day. The pair walked to Music Room Three, Honey perched on Mori's shoulder clutching Usa-chan. The Twins mischievous cackle and a boisterous shout from Tamaki could be heard through the door. Mori opened the door, only to be greeted by a stuffed bear flying towards him. Quickly chopping the bear to the ground, a thunderous sound echoed as it bounced on the marble floor beneath it.

Tamaki's shriek was drowned out by the Twins' laughter. He sulked in the corner, a large river of tears pouring down his face, creating a puddle beneath him. Mori, Honey and Kyoya watched over the scene with amusement.

The door handle gave a soft jiggle, pulling the clubs attention back to the task at hand. Everyone quickly rushed into position.

"Welcome!" They greeted in unison. A small boy emerged and quickly backed away upon their greeting. Little did they know that he was a she.
