He couldn't stop rolling his eyes. For the past hours he has been walking through New York playing the least enthusiastic tourist guide the city has ever seen for Marcus and his fiancé Katie. Marcus and Katie never went to New York before so it was understandable that they wanted to see everything even if it was nothing. But not for Harvey. He got tired around two hours ago when the two lovebirds forced him to take hundreds of pictures of them on Times Square.

It was their "pre-honeymoon", that's how they called it. They drove down from Boston to give Harvey his wedding invitation in person. Harvey was the one of the two brothers who didn't make much effort to keep in touch, just the annual call on Thanksgiving and on Marcus' birthday that he only remembered because Donna stuck a post-it on his desk, forcing him to call him. The whole thing with his Mom and Bobby had driven a wedge between them, so it was a surprise when he called telling him to keep his calendar free that weekend.

It was a Saturday and he usually would have spend it at the office but he gave Donna the day off, so he wasn't motivated to go anyway if she wasn't there. Not that Donna was the reason he smiled when he walked in his office every damn day.

He wasn't really looking forward to the wedding because Lily would be there. Harvey hasn't spoken to his mother in years and yet so far, he didn't have the intention the change that and he didn't like the idea of seeing her. The grudges that he held against her were deep-rooted.

The sun was just past its highest point when they were walking down Fifth Avenue. It wasn't really walking when Katie had to stop every five seconds in front of another designer's shop window.

"This is Hermès", Katie started to squeal and Marcus only faced her with a questioning look. Harvey took a few steps back to his brother who was standing there a little clueless, witnessing this future wife's freak out.

"It's the brand of the bag", Harvey whispered in Marcus' direction but that didn't let him understand Katie's behavior.

"It's the Birkin Bag", he added but he only met wondering eyes.

"How do you know that?", the younger one gave back, a little surprised by his brother's knowledge of bags.

"I might have bought one or two of them", he gave back nonchalantly. He had to smile, thinking back of the time were he took Donna out for breakfast at Nougatine to then have an excursion at Hermès. She thought they were just looking around but then he whipped out his credit card and before she could say anything, bought her the bag. He still remembered exactly how she used to only carry the burgundy bag for a year straight with that proud look on her face when she entered the office.

"And that didn't last? Wow, it must really be your cocky personality", Marcus stated only earning a furious look from Katie who now was able to move on from the bag.

The little douche had no idea.

"Shut up, Marcus", he gave back not that unbothered anymore as they were continuing their stride down the impressive main street.

The younger brother had managed to annoy him about being single since the second he arrived at New York and he had a feeling that he wasn't about to stop. He had just rolled his eyes at his comments, without properly responding to any of them but now it was time to change his tactics.

"I have a girlfriend, so keep your mouth shut", he gave back a little more annoyed. Now it was up to the Marcus if he believed him or not.

He hasn't been dating for a while now. In the past months there have been a few pointless encounters at bars and a couple woman. These flings lasted a few nights but that was it. Truth be told, he wasn't interested in them becoming something more serious.

He couldn't really admit that he only had eyes for one woman but it so happens that she is the one who set out the rule for herself to not get bed with anyone from work. Harvey respected her because he sure as hell knew that she had her reasons for that. In addition to that, he knew that she wasn't interested in him anyway.

"Now, I'm getting suspicious", Marcus declared a little curious.

"Let it go, it's none of your business", he didn't mean to sound that harsh but it bothered him that when he used the word girlfriend, Donna's name automatically flashed into his mind. It wasn't supposed to be like that. They were friends, maybe best friends but just friends and he couldn't risk that. It nearly destroyed their relationship once before.

"Liar", he let out with a playful smirk.

Sometimes he hated that douche. Only because he wanted to live that boring white-picket-fence-three-children-and-labradoodle-life didn't mean that everybody else needed that to be happy.

"Say what you want", the older Specter was walking mere feet in front of the couple when he saw familiar red hair glowing in the sun.

Donna Paulsen was striding down 5th Avenue to look for… well nothing but everything at the same time. She had spent breakfast with Rachel at a nice bistro and decided to do some shopping when the brunette had to leave.

She didn't see him just yet but his heart skipped a beat when he fully acknowledged her. To be honest, he more or less checked her out like too many times before. She was wearing tight dark grey jeans, a cozy looking cream colored sweater and her hair was put up in a bun. Even though Donna declared those ones to be messy buns, it looked more than perfect. Her Chanel Boyfriend Bag was hanging over her shoulder and sunglasses grazed her head.

She looked incredible.

As she kept walking, she finally recognized him. He was dressed in casual black jeans and a matching grey long-sleeve. She had to admit that he looked incredibly hot. Instantly, she saw his younger brother Marcus and his fiancé Katie standing a little bit behind him. The family resemblance was striking, they had the same bone structure and were nearly the same height, in general, they shared the Specter-spark.

Now or never. He was about to do it. It was an idea that flashed into his mind mere seconds before she was about to approach them.

It was stupid but the urge to prove to his brother that he was very capable of having a relationship and not being that ladies man who only had one-night stands, overweighed.

Maybe another urge overwhelmed him as well. One that he usually had to suppress.

She smiled as she made her way towards him with fast steps. Somehow he seemed different to her and he stared a little nervously down to the ground before he looked at her with a soft look on her face.

Everything that followed after felt surreal to her.

Before she could even voice a greeting to him or his brother and his fiancé, he grabbed her waist and gently, but firmly, pulled her in and crashed his lips onto hers. Her mind went blank. With Harvey's lips on hers she forgot that she was standing in the middle of the street with hundreds of people running around them. She forgot that this wasn't even supposed to happen, but out of reflex she wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him in a little more.

His eyelids fluttered between her hazel eyes and her lips when she gently pushed him away but before she could call him out on what he just did, he whispered, "Please just go with it".

She lost herself in his eyes for a little too long.

Hearing Marcus whistles behind Harvey they both loosened themselves from the embrace to turn around to the a little surprised looking couple. Donna who was still starstruck decided to do what she could do best. Be an actress.

Harvey obviously wanted her to play fake girlfriend? Why not "go with it" as he liked to put?

"You owe me, Specter", she whispered in his ear before she flashed Katie and Marcus a big smile.

"I'm Donna", she stepped towards them and she was a little surprised when Marcus offered her a hug and then Katie did the same. She immediately felt bad for this charade.

"I thought he was lying when he told us but you must be his girlfriend", Marcus stated. Harvey only groaned as the younger one tried to embarrass him again.

"It's… still a little new, so-", she voiced slowly.

That it was indeed.

"Why don't you join us?", Katie offered with an inviting smile on her face and Donna felt flattered.

She glanced over to Harvey but he just placed his hand at the small of her back and pulled her closer, so she read that as a sign.

"I'd love to", she didn't even have to fake her smile. For now it didn't feel uncomfortable, this whole pretending to be Harvey's girlfriend and maybe that was what worried her most.

They let Marcus and Katie walk in in front of them, so she could ask him her very burning questions.

"Harvey, what are we doing here?!", she whispered harshly in his direction.

"He mocked me", Harvey only stated, not able to look her in the eyes.

"So your brother mocks you about still being single", she rolled her eyes, "What about it?", she couldn't believe that he staged this entire thing just because of that.

He didn't answer.

"So you just kiss the next pretty woman you can pick up on the street to convince him otherwise?", she continued, one eyebrow raised.

"No, I particularly looked for pretty women with red hair", it was so him to make fun of a situation like this.

"Don't you dare!", she hissed in a forceful tone.

"Donna-", his voice has gone soft and he looked down at her. In her sneakers she was smaller than usual, especially in comparison to him.

"I'm sorry", he added with that voice that he only used when he talked to her.

"Don't do the puppy dog eyes on me!", she was about give in and keep this thing going even if it went against her rules.

"You think I have puppy dog eyes?", his voice switched to a with confidence leaping smug tone.

"Screw you", and before he knew it she placed her hand in his and pulled him forward to join Marcus and Katie.

"I deserve an Oscar for this", she mumbled more to herself but it only caused a wide grin on his face.
