Still blown away that this tied my other entry in The Picture is Worth 1000 Words contest for 2nd Place. This is complete as it is, no continuation coming for either of them. This is a fun little story, so I hope you enjoy it.

I had been worried about Bella. She's been self-quarantined because of her asthma and it had been a week since someone had stopped by with groceries for her. Alice was working late at her office, so I offered to do the run this time.
The forest fire had been raging for weeks and though they weren't close enough to be in danger, strong winds had the heavy smoke blowing into the towns east of the woods. The forest service would be dropping the fire retardant over the next thirty-six hours, and had advised people, especially those with conditions like Bella's to remain indoors while they were covering our area.
I got to the store and picked out all the items from her list, then drove across town to her house. I pulled into her garage and opened the door that led right into her kitchen. Unloading the groceries was easy, but I had no idea where she put things. Thankfully, Bella picked that moment to come around the corner.
"Hey, I wasn't expecting you," she smiled. I watched as she picked up the box of her favorite cereal and put it away.
"Alice is working late, and I wanted to check on you."
"You all worry too much."
"Did you do your nebulizer treatment for this evening yet?"
"No. I was waiting until I locked up for the night."
"Fine, we put away these groceries and then you take care of that."
We made quick work of the chore, but my early morning began to catch up with me. Bella headed upstairs and I promised to close the garage when I left so none of the pink dust got inside.
I sat down on her couch, wanting to rest for a minute and the next thing I heard was Bella's shriek.
"What? What's the matter?" I jumped up from my place on the couch.
"Edward, what are you still doing here? It's morning. The stay at home order is already in effect."
"Shit. I guess I'm stuck here. I didn't mean to pass out, I'm sorry."
"No, don't worry about it. What's the worst that could happen?"
Six Months Later
"I can't believe we're finally going to find out the baby's sex." Bella giggled in excitement as the cake was carried out.
"I still can't believe you talked me into letting Alice and Rosalie plan this party. Why couldn't we just be told in the office?"
"Because it is a fun surprise. And your sister thought you were going to die alone, so give her this."
"The only reason I would die alone would be because I didn't think you were interested."
"Oh, I think this little nudger proves I was definitely interested."
I leaned in to kiss my girlfriend, only to be interrupted by Emmett.
"Come on, let's cut this cake. I'm ready to find out if the baby is a Kai or a Fira?"
"What?" I asked Emmett.
"Don't what me? I spent hours coming up with a list of names for boys and girls. There's Aiden, Ember, Blaze, Titus, Electra, and Tina."
"Tina?" Bella looked at Emmett.
"Yeah because you got knocked up while you were quaran-Tina'd."
Jasper held in his laughter just long enough for Rosalie to smack Emmett upside the head. Then we all lost it together.
"The jokes will keep going until you give him a slice to shut him up," Jasper said.
Bella and I picked up the knife and cut into the cake. Once we had a slice portioned out, we lifted it to reveal the pink tiers inside.
"A little girl," Bella whispered.
"A little angel, just like her mother."
