Pyrrha grunted in relief as she continued her stretches. The Javelin Throw was the next event and would be taking place in a half hour. She would be the second person to go in the event. In the beginning, Pyrrha was very nervous about being one of the first to go. Just being out on the field itself filled her with anxiety. Now, after all the time and practice, nerves no longer got the best of her. While the environment could become grating with all the noise the red head genuinely enjoyed being out on the field; participating in the sports she loved. As another event was currently taking place Pyrrha along with the other athletes were off in a joint training room-locker room. This is where all the athletes would wait, train, converse, talk strategy, or do whatever else they liked to do while waiting for their event to start. Pyrrha let out a groan of relief as she finished her final stretches. Grabbing her water bottle and towel she made her way over to her designated locker and took a seat on the adjacent bench.

Pyrrha took this moment of reprieve to think about last night. She had no idea her night was going to turn out the way it did. From exploring the city, to running away from the paparazzi, to barging into a random bar and meeting one of the nicest people she had ever met. Though she fell asleep as soon as her body laid in bed last night she couldn't stop thinking about her encounter with Jaune. He had been kind to her the whole night even when she felt she did not deserve it. Pyrrha ran a hand threw her hair as she thought about how she yelled at him after he found out who she was and proceeded to break down after desperately wanting to leave. Jaune stayed with her through all that. Comforting her and listening to her the whole night.

When Jaune commented on how she was a person like everyone else and deserved to be treated as such she was shocked. She was use to people trying to use her or treating her differently which made her afraid. Afraid Jaune would treat her differently when he found out who she was. Even after pouring her soul to him she still feared the worst. Yet there was no reason to fear. Jaune didn't care that she was "The Champion of Mistral". He cared that she was Pyrrha. She had not realized how much hearing that would make her feel. However, after those words were spoken, she felt a joy that had be foreign to her for some time.

Pyrrha smiled to herself knowing this feeling would stick with her all day. The young woman wanted to speak with Jaune again though knew that would not be possible; may not be possible for the whole weekend. Pyrrha felt dissapointed about her inability to see Jaune. Even if he had come the likelihood of seeing him was next to zero. She couldn't blame the young man though so she opted to look forward to when she could speak with the him again.

Finishing her water, she opened her locker to store away the items on her person. While doing this a buzzing sound went off within the locker. Looking to the top shelf she saw that her scroll had caused the buzzing sound. The athletes were advised to put any personal belongings they may have brought along in their lockers as to not lose them in the hustle and bustle of the day.

"Maybe it's Mother wishing me good luck one more time." Pyrrha thought to herself.

Expecting to see her mother's picture on her scroll the young woman was momentarily taken aback when she saw a blank icon with a picture attachment. Intrigued, Pyrrha opened her scroll and made her way to her messages. Upon opening the message, a gasp escaped the redhead. There in the message was a picture. The picture being one of Jaune dressed in casual wear. The blonde had taken a picture of himself sitting in front of a T.V. He wore a big smile and was pointing at the T.V. screen. On the screen was the commentators of the Vytal Tournament talking about the Javelin Throw event while displaying a picture of Pyrrha. A caption accompanied the picture.

"Can't wait to watch this girl win the gold medal!"

Pyrrha grinned from ear to ear as she typed back a reply. Satisfied with her reply, she stored her scroll away as she made her way towards the field. With a spike in energy she was determined and excited more than ever before to win the gold.

Thank you to all who read my story. Thank you to everyone as well for reading this note. When I initially thought this story up this was going to be the finale. I do like stories that have a more open ended feeling to them. I feel this is a good ending as it shows Jaune and Pyrrha already have some connection and care for each other. Not only that, but it seems they'll continue their relationship in some form or another. As of right now, the story is complete.

However, I do have some possible ideas for future chapters if I do continue this. Nothing concrete just inklings of ideas. I felt the need to tell you, the audience, that there's a chance this will be the true ending but there's a chance that there may be more in the future. While saying this does put the story in an odd limbo I didn't want the story to be in limbo without directly stating so.

Unfortunately, life is going to be a bit more hectic for me as of now so I wouldn't be able to fully focus on this story either way. I may be able to write other small stories but who knows. I don't! Everything's mad right now! For now, this story will be marked as 'Complete'. I hoped you liked reading my work regardless if this is the end or not. Thanks again to all who viewed, followed, favorited, reviewed, and any other funny terms this site has. Pretty neat and surprising to see my dumb little story gain any attention at all. Cheers!
