It's only goodbye for a little while

It was the last time Butch and Cassidy were leaving HQ. All agents began to go, each one with luggages, it definitely was the end for everybody. In fact, because of several reasons, the Team Rocket organization was over, all persons who worked on it were in jobleness. Maybe a number of them will become good people, will make their own family and will have a legal job ; maybe others could fall in alcohol or in depression. It seemed to be strange for the duo of Rocket to leave this world, this place where they lived so many things, where they lived the best as the worst. It reigned a tense between them, while they decided together to go for a little while each their side.

In front of the huge and impressive building, Cassidy stopped her steps to give a last glare at it. She felt her heart become painful and she couldn't breathe normally. It was the end of many stories, she'll sink into oblivion : from now on, she just was a modest person as everyone. She didn't want to believe it was real, but the Rocket exodus from another world was real, and she know that. Her head slowly dropped and few tears began to run on her white cheeks, she didn't wish to cry but it was too much for her : she built all her own life into the building, she was powerful and famous in there.

All of a sudden, she felt a hand onto her shoulder. When she turned her head in the direction of the person, she smiled at him. James was here and wished to comfort the blondie girl. Without a word, he nodded his head, his face illuminated by a beautiful smile. Before this instant, Cassidy didn't take attention to him, and now she regretted that. With her lips, she mimed « Thank you ». The lavender-haired man moved away to let Butch replace him. Both of the men greeted with a simple hand gest, then Butch went towards her partner. Appearing in front of the young woman, he could notice she was crying : he understood why James was with her before he approached himself Cassidy.

Putting his bags on the floor, he instantly took Cassidy in his strongs arms and stroke her gold hairs. Cuddling her head against his chest, gripping Butch with all her strength. Of course, their ways will separate in a little while, but it was chosen, it was a general agreement between them. They spent several years together, nights and days, they travelled together, they lived together and they thought it was the moment for them to discover other things, and live other lives. Immediately, Cassidy felt guilty : she was the one who had proposed this offer when the new of the end of the organization reached to them. She burst into tears harder, breaking her shell.

" Shh…" Butch said, always stroking her hair.

" I'm sorry Butch… I don't want to let you go. Please, say me you'll never let me go. " Cassidy responded.

" We must go to do our lives, Cass. Never I'll forget all things we lived together, okay ? Never I'll forget you, because you're my sunshine." His voice was trembling.

" You too. I already miss you so much." She rose her violets eyes to observ his face. Some tears dropped from his brown iris.

To see her partner crying was hurting to Cassidy. Tiptoed, she kissed his hot cheek with delicacy, caressed it and slowly broke the hug. It was the moment to say him goodbye : she hated this thought. A long black car arrived before driver get out form the vehicle.

" Miss Cassidy ? " The driver asked as he approached to her.

" Yeah, that's me. " Cassidy whispered.

" We can go, let me put your suitcases into the boot. Your father waits you at the castle. "

Cassidy nodded before examine Butch's face for the last time. She didn't think it could be so complicated to her to let him alone : she knew he had no family, no place to live and she wanted to propose him to go with her in her father's castle. Only, she didn't manage to talk to him, her throat was squeezing. Remembered their last day, Cassidy thought she was a true bitch with him, and their last evening together was an argue for no important thing. While she took instinctively his hand, the blondie girl was unable to release it. Suddenly, she found a final force to jump into his arms and kissed him with a deep love, onto his lips. He was surprised by her act, but he couldn't help but give her the same. After a moment, the driver pressed her to go inside the vehicle : she had to let him go, she had to release his hand. As a slow motion, their two hands began to slide until they dropped from each other. The yound lady decided to say her last words to him, breaking her heart a little more.

" It's only goodbye for a little while. I love you. "

Cassidy looked at Butch as she wanted to print his face into her head, being afraid to forget him with time. Of course, she had numerous photographs from him or from them and with their Pokémon : they were more than friends, they were a full family. Moving back with few steps, her tears restarted to drop from her violets eyes, which became red by crying and ran on her cheeks. Couldn't keep her own calm, she ran towards the car and quickly get inside the vehicle. Behind the glass, she glared at him for the last time before the car started up. The final picture that the young blondie girl could see was harrowing. In fact, her partner kneeled on the floor, one of his hand on his face, crying his eyes out. It was the end, their ending and it wasn't happy as a fairy tale. In fact, it seemed for Cassidy that it was the beginning from a guenuine nightmare : the one of absolute loneliness.
