A/N: Some things might change from the canon, but nothing completely serious. Finally, only characters of the Persona world will have Personas, characters from Fairy Tail won't be getting any, saying in advance. I might put OC characters as well, maybe.
Finally, my character will have a small harem. Also, as stated prior, this story is incredibly biased towards Persona characters, so just wanted to say that in advance, if you don't agree, then please just keep it to yourself. It is your choice whether to read this story or not.

"Alright, now that I've gotten myself a place to rest at. Time to start the mission."
Aero could be heard saying as he was currently walking down the street of the town he was currently in, which he had learnt was called Margaret Town. He had decided to head in the other direction of Magnolia, the place that Yajima told him of, that being because of the fact that it was close by anyway, so why not?
During the time since he had arrived, he booked a room at a nearby inn to stay for a couple of nights since he had located the detection of a Palace. If there was a Palace, then it was his duty as a Phantom Thief to steal its Treasure! He was looking at his phone as he walked, gaining a few looks from people as they saw the strange device in his hand.
He had also noticed a few people, mainly being females, giving him a few looks, which he ignored entirely as he was focused on the task at hand. Right now, he needed to find the person's name that the Palace belonged to, he wouldn't be able to go much further at all if he didn't have this piece of information to go off of.
He could only wonder what the kind of Palace he was going to find was going to be like, was it going to be like Madarame's? Or god forbid Kamoshida's Palace! The experience he had when taking down that bastard's Palace was anything but pleasant, the whole ordeal was a horrible experience for him, Akira, Ryuji, Morgana, and Ann, as well as the student body. Something he doesn't want to see again!
He could only hope this one won't be so bad. Though, considering the desires were strong enough to create a Palace, he had his doubts.
"Huh?" Something seemed to catch Aero's attention as he noticed some kind of glowing blue light coming from one of the alleyways within the town, he raised an eyebrow as he quickly glanced around him before using his speed to quickly run into the alley. When he did, he looked back to see that no one saw him, which he smiled at before turning and walking deeper in. "No way..."
Aero could only stare in shock as he saw what appeared to be a rather transparent glowing blue doorway, the door was rather similar to that of a door you would find in a prison. He recognised this door in an instant! He had gone through it, much like how his fellow Phantom Thief Akira did, many times back in his own world! And here it was again!
"Greetings, Aero."
"L-Lavenza!" Aero widened his eyes as he saw a girl that appeared to be around his age smiling softly towards him as she was seen standing beside the door. She had long platinum hair and golden eyes, she seems to be reminiscent of a French or Victorian-era maid. He hadn't expected to see her here!
She was wearing a blue dress, as well as a stylish matching headband with white butterfly ornaments and yellow roses, also having noticeably pink lips. In her arms was an abnormally large book that could be seen was labelled 'le Grimoire', which she surprisingly didn't seem to have any trouble carrying despite its rather massive size.
"I am more than glad to see that you are safe, despite the predicament that you have found yourself in." Lavenza said as she walked over towards him. Aero blinked a few times before chuckling as he then replied by saying. "I was honestly surprised when I came to in this world, I only found out my situation thanks to Azrael. So, how come the Velvet Room is here? How is it here?"
"Remember, the Velvet Room is a place that exists between dream and reality, mind and matter. So, reaching her is no issue at all." Lavenza explained as Aero nodded his head in understanding. She then grabbed his hand before leading him over towards the door. "Please, come with me. Master wishes to speak with you."
"Alright, I wonder what he's got say?"
"Let's not keep him waiting." Aero nodded his head before they both saw the door open, to which they both soon entered inside. When they did, Aero's vision had gone blank for a short amount of time before he slowly began to open his eyes. As opened them, he was greeted by a rather interestingly designed room.
The room was circular that had a desk of sorts situated at the centre of it, and around the room were a bunch of cells that appeared to be closed up. Aero noticed that he was standing in one of the cells, but the door to the one he was in was open wide, and he could see Lavenza standing outside of it with a smile on her face.
"Welcome back to the Velvet Room."
"Thanks, Igor. I see that you're doing well." Aero smiled as he proceeded to walk out of the cell. He stopped a bit in front of the desk, where the man that had voiced out previously as Aero crossed his arms and smiled. Lavenza walked up next to the man as he could be seen resting his elbows on the desk as he gave Aero a constant and unmoving smile.
The person that Aero was talking to was none other than Igor, the Master of the Velvet Room. He appeared to be a rather bizarre old man with an abnormally long nose, along with pointed ears and bulging bloodshot eyes. He appeared to be wearing a black suit with white gloves. His height couldn't be determined, but from the length of his legs, he must be rather tall.
"Yes, and I see that you are the same. Though, I have noticed that you have found yourself in quite the predicament, quite troubling indeed." Igor said as he smiled never faded. Aero sighed as he scratched the back of his head, it was quite troubling indeed. "This new world you have arrived in is quite strange for you, I'm quite sure."
"Are you able to bring me back?"
"I'm afraid I cannot."
"How come?" Aero frowned. Lavenza seemed to be the one that was going to answer the question as she took a step forwards, Aero turning his attention to her as he listened. "We are unable to bring you back to your own world due to what had transpired. After the event having to do with Yaldabaoth, everything to do with Mementos and the Metaverse was erased. And transferring someone who isn't a resident of the Velvet Room through worlds is impossible I'm afraid."
"I see..." Aero muttered as his eyes narrowed a bit and his face gained a sad look on his face. Did this mean that everything he had in his life previously, his friends, his home, and everything else was just gone from his life just like that? He clenched his fists at this, the idea of losing all he loved. Lavenza seemed to notice as she sent him a sympathetic look.
"But, we also believe that whatever happened also might be connected to the Velvet Room in some way." Lavenza added as Aero looked up at her confused. Igor then explained. "Do remember that nothing meaningless happens within this room, so this whole ordeal of you being transported may have some significance to something occurring."
"You mean there might be a reason for why I'm here?" Aero asked in surprised. Igor nodded his head as Aero seemed to gain a thinking look. If that was true, then why was he brought here? Was there some kind of reason for his appearance? Or was it truly a mere coincidence, which it couldn't have as anything that has to do with the Velvet Room has a purpose.
"After the events concerning Yaldabaoth, we are lead to believe that there was some kind of energy spike within the Metaverse, Mementos, and the Velvet Room. While our sayings of this are mere hypothesis, we are to believe it was the cause for you being brought to this new world. " Lavenza further explained as Aero crossed his arms.
"Wait... you said after the event, does that mean...?!"
"Hehehe~... you would be correct. Your fellow Phantom Thieves had managed to prevail over Yaldabaoth, despite your sudden disappearance during the battle." Igor responded as this caused Aero to gain a smile on his face, though the sadness was still present. He was joyed, the fact that his companions managed to defeat the so-called god, it made him really proud.
"They did it, huh? Well done, guys..."
"Take a look at this." Igor said as seemingly a holographic image appeared as a familiar setting made Aero widen his eyes, it was the building that he and his teammates were standing on. Yaldabaoth could be seen staring down at them as they were struggling to stand. "This is what happened after your disappearance."
"..." Aero widened his eyes when he saw his leader, Akira Kurusu. Despite being the same strength as himself, Aero wanted Akira to be the leader as he saw the male to be a better fit than himself. He watched as Arsene appeared behind the male as he then tugged at the chains, snapping them as a pillar of power exploded from Arsene as the Persona roared. "What the..."
Aero watched at the image in awe as something appeared to be lowering from the dark thundering clouds, a massive Persona... Its size was comparable to even the likes of Yaldabaoth as it revealed to be a Persona with demon-like appearance wit feathery wings and a mask that was similar to that of Akira. Its mere presence completely awed. Azrael appeared also shocked as he looked at the image from within Aero's heart.
"What is that...?"
"That being is Satanael, an Ultimate Persona."
"Ultimate... Persona?" Aero muttered as he stared at the spectacle. He watched as his teammates seemed to have all their injuries healed to perfection as they stood tall, that was when Satanael then pointed its gun along with Akira as then a large bullet was fired from the gun, going straight through the head of Yaldabaoth. "Is this..."
"Correct, this is how they had managed to defeat Yaldabaoth. With the gathered beliefs of the people, they gathered the courage and willpower to persevere in the fight. Bringing forth Satanael to give them the final strength they needed to end the reign of Yaldabaoth and to rid him of your world. They together splendidly."
"Heh, I knew they could do it. Well done, you guys."
"You played a major role as well, without your assistance prior to being transported, they wouldn't have been able to accomplish this. You were a vital part." Igor stated firmly as Aero just shook his head with a smile. "While they may not be able to conduct their duties as Phantom Thieves any longer, their legacy certainly still lives."
"Oh yeah, cause of the Metaverse and stuff being gone, huh? I guess that makes me the last Phantom Thief..." Aero chuckled half-heartedly. Igor then got Aero's attention as he then seemed to hand something over to Lavenza, who in turn walked over to Aero and held it out towards him, causing him to blink in confusion. "What's this?"
"Open it, and you will find out." Lavenza smiled. Both of them smiled towards Aero, who seemed confused as he looked at what appeared to be a small envelope. He then shrugged before opening it up carefully, he then took out a white piece of paper as he seemed confused before unfolding it.
"This...!"
"Indeed. It's a letter that your friends sent you, a little message for you after I had explained your situation to them after having disappeared from your world." Igor explained as they saw Aero stared down at the letter with shadowed eyes, his body was shaking slightly as soon tears could be seen starting to come down from his face.
The letter consisted of a sentence by each of the members from the group, them being Akira, Ryuji, Morgana, Ann, Yusuke, Makoto, Futaba, and Haru. As Aero read each of the lines, he couldn't help but release a happy smile, as tears ran down his face. At the bottom of the letter, the Phantom Thieves logo was printed.
Morgana: It's going to be boring here without you, and Ryuji is being a pain! It's going to be rough without you here to get him to back off!
Ryuji: It totally sucks that you're not here anymore with us, dude! But, I wish you the best of luck out there! Remember, we'll always be Phantom Thieves!
Ann: We heard of your situation by Igor, stay safe out there, Aero.
Yusuke: We all certainly do wish you the best of luck out there, just remember the great mosaic that we have created together as a team.
Makoto: Don't get into trouble over there, though knowing the life of a Phantom Thief, you'll encounter some trouble sooner or later.
Futaba: I want to thank you as well as the others for helping me out, without you guys, I probably would have been far worse off. Good luck out there!
Haru: Please be safe when you're over there, all of us will be wishing you the best of luck!
Akira: Aero, I want to say thank you for everything that you have helped me with, as well as the others. Our time as Phantom Thieves may be over, but our spirits now lie in you. We wish you the best of luck, Chaos. We'll always be the Phantom Thieves at heart.
"Thank you, guys. For everything..."
Aero muttered as he had very apparent tears running down his face, the tears hitting against the letter as he didn't care about trying to stop himself from breaking down crying right now. He'll be sure to make it a promise, a promise that he'll no doubt continue on the legacy of the Phantom Thieves, his journey was just beginning!
"I'm crying, huh? I wonder what they'd say if they saw me now, crying like this?" Aero laughed to himself as he folded up the letter and slipped it back into the envelope as he slipped it into his pocket. He then began wiping his tears away, though he soon felt a pair of arms wrap around his body and look to see Lavenza embracing him. "Lavenza...?"
"Your friends believe in you to carry on their duty, and that belief will always be strong." Lavenza said as she continued to embrace him. Aero blinked a few times before smiling as he decided to return the embrace, and with her being a head or so shorter than he was, his chin rested atop her head as he embraced her. "You're right, I'll make them proud too."
"I certainly do believe that you will, and your Personas will be by your side the entire time." Igor voiced as Lavenza and Aero ended their embrace. Aero smiled gratefully towards Igor as he nodded his head, Igor nodded back before adding. "We will also be here to assist you if you need be, feel free to come whenever you like."
"Thanks a lot, Igor." Aero responded. He then remembered something as he asked. "By the way, there's something I wanted to ask you, Igor. It's to do with Chronos, he appears to be acting strangely according to Azrael, do you possibly know the reason behind his strange behaviour ever since coming to this world?"
"Yes, I have noticed as well. I believe the reason is that when you were transported, it has somehow caused a fluctuation in his powers, whether it is dangerous or not is currently unknown." Igor explained. Aero nodded his head in understanding, he hoped for more, but it seemed that even Igor was limited on knowledge about this subject.
"I see, then I believe I should take my leave. I do have a job to do, and a certain Treasure is calling for me to steal it." Aero grinned as he finished wiping away his tears. Igor grinned as he nodded his head, Igor then gave a small laugh as he then responded. "Indeed you do! I wish you the best of luck, young Phantom Thief."
"See you later, Igor. Lavenza."
"Hold on, before you go." Igor interrupted. Aero blinked in confusion as Igor called out to him, he then watched with a tilted head as Igor seemed to motion him to come closer before holding something out to Aero. Aero blinked as Igor placed something in his hands, and when he looked at what it was. He widened his eyes. "He wanted you to have this."
"Don't these belong to..."
"He had a spare pair for you to have, after having heard about what you were going through, he wanted to give you this as a small gift." Igor explained with a laugh as Lavenza gave a small smile and a bow. Aero had what appeared to be a pair of earphones that were silver in coloured with a black wire attaching it to a cylindrical MP3 player. "He wanted you to have them."
"Minato..." Aero muttered as he gave a small smile. These headphones belonged to Minato Arisato, a Persona user that he met along with the others when they found themselves trapped in a world where they got trapped in movies. Aero then placed the MP3 player over his neck by the blue strap as he then placed both earphones on his ears as the player dangled around his neck. "Thanks, bro."
Aero then proceeded to close his eyes as his body glowed brightly for a second, to which he then soon disappeared from view and out of the Velvet Room. Igor then noticed Lavenza staring silently at the place where Aero previously was standing, to which he gave a small laugh as he knew exactly what the attendant had in mind.
"You certainly do like him, don't you?"
"I suppose so..."
With a new rush of determination and confidence, Aero could now be seen running along the rooftops of the buildings without being seen due to the speed in which he was moving at. Since his line of duty required such movements as well as strength, it was understandable that his physical prowess was abnormal, he probably wouldn't have survived so long without it.
He was incredibly glad that his fellow Phantom Thieves were able to put an end to Yaldabaoth, despite his disappearance, they managed to pull through to the end, and he was really proud of them for that. Now that he thought about it, him thinking like this makes him feel older than them, despite being so much younger than they were, kind of like an older sibling. He had been told he was more mature than normal people his age.
'Good luck over back at home, guys. Wish me luck!' Aero grinned as he leapt over an alleyway. As he ran, his body sometimes were covered in a shadowy aura as he seemed to gain a burst of speed every now and then, that being due to the fact he was using magic to quickly move around in bursts. He was already fast as is, but getting faster wasn't bad.
As he ran, he observed as the people below went about their normal lives. He could sense the magic that some of them had, though incredibly weak from what he could sense. It did seem that they were simple citizens, so it was understandable if their magic wasn't exactly the highest. He noticed how some had a good amount more than others, who he assumed must be more combat-oriented mages or something else.
"You appear rather happy, Aero."
"Of course I do, our friends are supporting us from back home. And there's no way I'm letting them down! I'll continue my duties as a Phantom Thief, in their stead!"
"Then I'll stand by you all the way, like always."
"Right!" Aero smiled. Azrael was his first Persona ever, after all, he had been beside Aero ever since the whole Kamoshido ordeal, being awakened alongside Arsene, who was the Persona of his fellow Wild Card, Akira Kurusu. Aero soon arrived on a building that seemed to overlook on side of the town, a rather decently large area. "What's going on here?"
Aero blinked as he looked over the ledge of the building, it seemed like there was some kind of commotion going on, and from what he could see of it, there appeared to be a crowd of people gathered around what appeared to be a man as he stood atop a small podium, and judging by the current state of the area, it appeared they were in the middle of a form of construction of some kind.
As he looked around, he noticed that a crowd of people were also surrounding this group, so he assumed that the group right in front of the man were probably workers of some kind. Aero seemed to narrow his eyes as he quickly made his way down from the building top to get a better spot to hear what was going on, it might have to do with his current mission.
He walked on over towards the surrounding crowd of people, though there weren't too many as who in the world would listen to construction men talk randomly? He wasn't exactly one to talk right now, but he had his reasons. Aero crossed his arms as he listened in, who knows? He might find something interesting that is currently going on.
"Alright, men! Time to get this construction done, and I expect it to be completed by the end of the week! Understand?!" The person standing atop the podium, a middle-aged man with black short hair and a rather built body had shouted as the construction workers all nodded their heads in response. "Good! Don't disappoint me, or this can seriously cause problems!"
"Understood...!"
"Construction, huh? I wonder what they're building..." Aero muttered to himself as he held his chin. He then saw the workers all begin to disperse as they proceeded to start on the task, though he narrowed his eyes when he noticed something. The faces of the workers, they all had black spots underneath them, as if they hadn't slept in days. They looked like they were barely functioning.
It made his emotions rise in anger, the expressions reminded him of the looks that the volleyball team had, all the way back when he first started as a Phantom Thief. While he didn't go to the school, his fellow Phantom Thieves informed him of everything that had occurred so he knew what the situation was. He was able to see the members when they entered into Kamoshida's palace, and they look much like these workers.
"Excuse me, do you know what's going on here?" Aero asked as he pushed away his anger for the moment. He had asked the person that was standing next to him and observing as well, Aero had noticed that the person was a man far older looking than him. Aero also noticed how he seemed to frown at the workers, did he also notice their looks? This guy must be good.
He was a tall and massive man with a heavily muscular figure, also having a bald head, a pair of oval-shaped black marks just above his black coloured eyes, and also seemed to be lacking in the eyebrows department. His clothes also seemed to initially mirror those that were commonly seen worn by ancient civilizations such as Mayans or Egyptians from his world.
Although his thick boots resembled Inuit garbs. His chest was bare, being only covered by a series of dark belts crossing it diagonally, and around his neck, he donned a short mantle, covered in horizontal blue and white stripes and sporting edges decorated by numerous short yellow strings hanging from it. On his arms were tight-fitting green armbands almost reaching up to his shoulders, seemingly made from the skin of some kind of reptile.
Around his waist was a long loincloth, held up by a simple belt that sported a motif composed of several arcs, with a single spot in each of their concave parts and simple decorations. The loincloth was fur-lined, something which matched the design of his boots, almost being completely composed of fur.
"Hm? It's the construction of some kind of a building for the town, and the process is being led by that man." The male explained as he pointed towards the man who was just walking off the podium with a smirk on his face. The dude already gave Aero bad vibes, and that was never a good thing. Aero then decided to ask. "Mind telling me his name? He seems suspicious."
"You don't know? His name is Adder Noland. He's the main person that has started building in this area." The older male explained as Aero nodded his head in understanding. The male observed Aero as he then seemed to blink. "Are you perhaps from out of town, his name had been spreading around here quite a bit. He is known to be the best at his work."
"Y-Yeah, I actually came into town earlier today."
"I see, that would explain it." The male nodded his head in understanding. The man wasn't too known outside of Margaret Town, so it was understandable that Aero didn't know him. Though, what was this power he sensed from the boy, this massive energy... He shook his head as he decided to push it away. "My name is Jura Neekis, a member of the Lamia Scale guild."
"Huh? Oh, nice to meet you. My name is Aero, Aero Ryts." Aero introduced himself as he extended his hand towards the man. Jura accepted the gesture as he shook the young male's hand, to which they then retracted their hands afterwards. 'Jura Neekis, huh? Didn't Yajima tell me a bit about it? If I remember correctly, he's supposedly a Wizard Saint.'
"That would make sense, his magic power seems to exceed the other people in the area by a very significant amount." Azrael commented. Aero agreed as he could feel the power in Jura, while not comparable to his, it was far greater than anyone else in the town. Jura then looked towards Adder, as he gave a rather deep frown. "And he appears to be aware of the condition of those workers."
"Though, there have been some rather large rumours..." Jura voiced as Aero noticed the rather serious tone in Jura's voice. Aero sent him a questioning look as Jura then noticed it, to which he then further explained. "There have been rumours that those workers aren't voluntary, more like they have been forced to work against their will. Non-stop from what it seems."
"If that's the case, then why not arrest him and interrogate him?" Aero wondered. If these rumours were truly spreading around, then why didn't the governing body see if it was really true, it would help society if they did. Jura shook his head with a sigh. "I'm afraid that can't be done as further evidence of such a thing is required, we cannot do anything but wait and see what happens."
"I see..." Aero clicked his tongue and gritted his teeth. This was reminding him way too much about Kamoshida's situation, how he treated the volleyball team and how this man treated the forced workers, and also how unless they had concrete evidence of Kamoshida's crimes, they couldn't do anything. Who would listen to a bunch of kids? "Something needs to be done though."
"I agree, but there is very little that can be done, unfortunately." Jura sighed with a frown on his face. Aero then sighed as well, though he then had a smirk hiding inside of him, it seemed like he found a very probable candidate! He then turned to Jura as he then said. "Anyway, it was nice meeting you, Mr. Jura. I might see you some other time."
"Please, calling me Mr. Jura makes me feel old. Just call me Jura. I am only twenty-one years of age after all. " Aero seemed to stare at Jura in silence as the wind brushed against their clothes, his scarf flowing in the wind as he stared at Jura with a blank look in his eyes. Did he hear that right? Was he tripping balls right now? There's no way...
"You're how old now...?"
"Twenty-one."
"..."
"..."
"Is something the matter?"
"No... nothing at all." Aero replied as he turned his head to the side as he gave a nervous smile. There was no way this guy was twenty-one years of age! Akira and the others were around sixteen or seventeen and this dude was twenty-one?! He looked like a person who's at the age he could call a freaking dad! 'This can't be real...'
"Time certainly doesn't seem to have treated him well..." Azrael muttered as they both were staring at Jura, Azrael doing so from within Aero's soul as it would be bad for him to be out right now. Even someone like Azrael was truly astonished and amazed, and they thought they had seen some crazy things. This must take a pretty high spot on their list. "Anyway, we should get back to business..."
"Agreed... Okay, anyway. I'll see you another time, Mr. J- I mean, Jura. I have some business that I need to take care of."
"Very well, it was a pleasure, Aero. Perhaps we'll meet each other some time again." Jura nodded as Aero nodded in return before he turned and began walking away. They both waved each other off as Aero soon began walking towards the alleyway, he looked back real quick to make sure no one was following before he quickly ran in.
When Aero made sure no one was around when he entered the alley, which he was relieved to see that it was empty and not a single soul besides him was here. He then noticed a slightly elevated concrete platform against the wall, he jumped up and sat down before taking out his phone and opening up the Meta-Nav as he tapped on his phone.
"That was certainly an interesting encounter, to think you humans are capable of accomplishing such phenomenal inconceivable miracles." Azrael said as Aero sighed as he looked at his phone. "I wouldn't call it a miracle, Azrael. It's an anomaly, that's a better term for Jura. Seriously, it's just crazy that he is apparently twenty-one..."
"It's certainly is strange. Almost as much as how that one person claims he's an Ace Detective or something... who was it? The one when we got stuck in that movie theatre."
"You mean Junpei?"
"Yes, that one!"
"Well, you're not wrong there. Ace Detective, more like Ace Defective..."
"Certainly."
"Anyway though, let's get down to business. We have a job to do." If what Aero thought was true, and that that Adder guy was the reason for the Palace, then the app should tell him when he says the guy's name. If not, then he'd have to try to find another person, though he doubted that he would need to consider what he has seen. "Adder Noland."
[Candidate Found]
"Hm, no surprise there."
"Certainly. Now, the next thing is either the distortion or the location." Azrael added. True to Azrael's words, now that they had the name of the person, all they needed now to actually enter the place was a location or the distortion of it. Aero seemed to think for a second as he held his chin in thought.
"Well, I think we've already figured out what the location is." Aero muttered. If what he was thinking was true, then he might have already figured out what location the distortion is of. Considering what he saw back there when he met Jura, then it was certainly a possible candidate for the location. "Right, let's try it. Construction Site."
[Candidate Found]
"Perfect."
"Very well done, Aero. You always were one of the more intelligent ones of the group. Now, all that's left is for us to find out just what the distortion is." Aero agreed as that was the last thing he needed before he can truly start the operation. Though, this was where it was going to get harder, what was the distortion going to end up being of?
"Now, this is where it gets hard. We didn't get much information at all on what he sees this construction site as." Aero added as he gained another look of thinking. There were many possibilities, a construction worker makes all kinds of buildings, and merely saying 'building' was far too vague for it to work. "I suppose our next move would be to find out what is being built."
"That would be the most appropriate course of action, knowing the main purpose of this construction will assist us in finding out what he is hoping to see this work turning out to be." Azrael had added to the conversation. Now, that leaves the question. What is this construction of? And what does Adder view this place as? They'll need to investigate.
"Well, no point in sitting here and thinking to no avail. We'll begin again tomorrow, it seems like the sun is starting to go down. Plus, I'm pretty tired at the moment." Aero said as he pocketed his phone away. He gave a tired sigh before pushing himself off the elevated platform as he began making his way out of the alleyway and into the street.
"Huh, isn't that Aero?"
Jura could be seen walking towards a large building, though had stopped when he took notice of a familiar boy walking in the same direction, he was looking down at some kind of strange device in his hands as he was walking. Jura tilted his head at this, he had no idea what the boy was looking at, but that really wasn't his business.
Jura seemed to raise an eyebrow as the boy seemed to be thinking of something, seen quite well due to the fact he was holding his chin in thought and held a focused expression on his face constantly. What was the boy thinking of? That was the main question that Jura had in his mind at the moment, why was the boy so focused?
"Aero?"
"Huh?" Aero blinked as he heard his name being called out. He stopped his walking before blinking a couple more times before turning his head upwards and to his left as he saw none other than Jura, the person he had met yesterday, having been a day since he had first met the dude. He hadn't expected to run into him again so soon. "Oh, Jura. I didn't expect to see you. Good morning."
"Good morning to you too, Aero. You seem rather focused, is something the matter?" Jura asked with curiosity. Aero contemplated whether or not to ask Jura if he knew what they were building, since it might be rather suspicious. But, what choice did he have? Plus, he doubted Jura would be able to figure out what he was going to do.
"I'm just trying to find out what that Adder guys is trying to build, I'm just curious is all." Jura blinked a the response as he seemed to look up at the sky for a second, as if thinking about something. He then looked back down at Aero. "Well, not many people truly know what he is making. But, I can't really say that I know what is being constructed either."
"I see..."
"We could ask my Guild Master."
"Your Guild Master?"
"Yes, she should be just inside." Jura replied as he gestured towards the building that they were standing next to. Aero turned his head upwards to take in its appearance as he blinked a few times, this was Jura's guild? It was pretty impressive, definitely not as impressive as building in the cities back in his homeworld, but still pretty nice and impressive.
The guildhall appeared to be made of a kind of brick and was rather large in size, and it was bearing a dark banner adorned by what he assumed was the guild's symbol or something. With a statue representing a lamia, a creature that appeared with the upper body of an alluring, bikini-clad young woman and a large serpentine tail, sitting outside on a rocky formation by the entrance.
"Are you sure I can just go in?"
"Of course, I'm sure it'll be fine." Jura smiled. Aero gave a small smile, why not? It was a chance to see what Jura's guild was like, and it was called Lamia Scale if he remembered correctly. Jura then motioned for Aero to follow him, which he complied and followed after Jura as the man opened the doors and began walking inside, Aero following close behind.
As they entered the building, Aero took quick small glances around as he saw a bunch of other people who he assumed were also members of this guild. A few of them sent glances towards them as they walked, most likely due to Jura, who was most likely a prominent figure for the guild considering he is one of the Wizard Saints.
The place was pretty huge, while he had seen far more impressive buildings, this one was incredible in its own right. Aero was silent as they walked as he noticed they were walking towards what appeared to be an old woman standing at a certain place within the guildhall, the person having noticed them approaching as she turned towards them.
"Ah, Jura. I see that you've returned, who is your friend?" The old woman, who Aero assumed was most likely the Guild Master, asked Jura as she took notice of Aero, who was seen standing next to the Wizard Saint. From what he could tell of the woman, she appeared to be rather old yet probably still kicking it with high energy.
'This better not be a similar case like Jura, where this woman is secretly like sixteen or something...'
"Just kill us when that happens..."
The woman has the same features to that of an old person with wrinkled skin, small eyes and bony hands. She has stretched earlobes and has long grey hair tied up in a huge bun with three layers. Her outfit consisted of a cloak with a collar with a dotted design and what appears to be a dark vest underneath it. She wore studded bracelets on both her arms and a necklace with a sun emblem.
"This here is Aero, a young man I had met in the town not too long ago." Jura introduced as Aero gave a small polite bow towards the woman, who was surprised by the gesture as she and Jura seemed a bit confused by the bowing, why was he doing so? The Guild Master then introduced herself. "My name is Ooba, the Guild Master of Lamia Scale. It's nice to meet you, young man. But, how you are were bowing? It's not like I'm royalty."
"Nice to meet you, Ms. Ooba. It's just a way back in my homeland where we show respect to one another, royalty or not." Aero explained simply as they both seemed to nod their heads in understanding. Aero could only guess that it seemed that they didn't do the same here, different world and different culture after all. "I'm just here since Jura told me you might know what that Adder person was building."
"I am curious too, master. These rumours have me unsettled as well..."
"I am the same, Jura. If what the rumours have said are true, then we should do something, unfortunately, we cannot if we can't show evidence of such rumours being true..." Ooba sighed. It seemed that she was well aware of what was being talked about involving the man, and she wanted something done. "For your question, it might have to do something with the town's current issue."
"Mind explaining?"
"We have been having a slight issue with places to hold supplies such as materials and also resources such as food and even tools for the workers." Jura was the one that explained the issue as Aero listened. Ooba was the one that continued on. "Considering that, it might be some kind of building to help the town with that. It is a rather needed facility."
"I see, thank you for the information." Aero nodded his head. There we go, clues and information! He had something to determine the possible distortion, it was most likely related to something that had to do with holding things, but what? If he can figure that out, then he could get into the Palace! It would be best to get this done straight away. 'What could it be though...?'
"Is something wrong, Aero?" Jura's voice snapped Aero out of his thoughts as the boy turned to look at them. They were surprised when Aero began running towards the door, though he turned his head back and yelled back in response as he continued to run. "Thanks for the help, you guys! I have something that I need to do!"
"I wonder what he's in a rush for?" Ooba wondered as they both watched Aero soon exit the building. Jura seemed to narrow his eyes, he had noticed the serious look that Aero gained when he had gotten his answer from Ooba. Was there something going on that only Aero knew? Jura then looked towards Ooba as she looked up at him.
"Master, I am going to go out for a bit. I'll be back later."
"... If you say so." Ooba responded with uncertainty as she seemed to know for a fact that Jura probably was doing this for a reason, and she had a strong feeling that it had something to do with Aero. But, what was it exactly? Jura thanked her before walking out of the guild as Ooba watched as he did so. "Oh well, I'm sure it will be fine."
Aero had quickly run out of the guild and was quickly making his way towards one of the empty alleyways, it was most likely time to start the mission! If he could determine the distortion, then he was golden! Aero looked around before his body was covered in a shadowy aura as he entered the alleyway with incredible and silent movements. He was in an alley that was near the construction site.
Once he was in the alleyway, he took out his phone before opening up the Meta-Nav. He had the clues that he needed, if the man was truly someone that was going to make something to benefit the town, he doubted that he didn't have some other motive if he was driving these workers to the bone. The rumour adding more to that.
"Okay, since the town is having some kind of storage problem. Let's try Warehouse."
[No Candidate Found]
"That didn't work, how about Storage House?"
[No Candidate Found]
"Nope..."
"Perhaps we should think about this in a different way." Azrael had voiced suddenly as Aero seemed confused by what he meant. So, Aero stayed silent as he listened to what his Persona had to say to him. "If we consider the type of person that Adder has been said to be when it comes to those rumours, perhaps he sees this place as something for him. Similar to Kamoshida and how he viewed the students."
"You mean like how Kamoshida viewed the place as his own castle and the students as his own possessions?" Aero asked as Azrael gave a grunt in response. True to his words, Kamoshida viewed the students as his own possessions, the males as his slaves and the females as his own sexual entertainment. Disgusting...
"That's correct. Perhaps this is similar, for how Kamoshida viewed the school."
"I see, you mean like how Adder could be considering this new building to be like some kind of personal warehouse or something? Using it for his own gain... won't surprise me there." Aero scoffed as he thought about it. If the type of character the rumours brought the man out to be like, then he probably was going to benefit from the new building one way or another.
Unbeknownst to them, Jura could be seen peeking from around the corner as he stared with narrowed eyes as he looked at Aero. The male was once again staring at the phone in his hands as the earphones he wore still covered his ears, though he had been holding that same serious and thinking expression on his face. But, why was this?
'Who is he talking to? What is he doing?' Jura wondered as he seemed confused by Aero's actions. He felt no ill intent at all coming from the boy, but his actions seemed quite suspicious, even since he had first met the boy yesterday? He couldn't help but wonder... 'Aero, just what are you up to? And what is your goal?'
To the surprise of both males, a voice from Aero's phone spoke.
[Candidate Found]
"Say what? You can't mean..." Aero muttered with widened eyes as the app seemed to react to what he had said beforehand. The screen had changed in response to Aero's previous words, surprising even Azrael as they both had not expected this to happen. "So, Personal Warehouse, huh? Looks like I just pulled a Ryuji with this one..."
"Certainly, you mean like during the Kaneshiro incident?"
"Yep."
[Beginning Navigation]
"Well, here we go. Let's see what we have in store."
"What in the world...!" Jura gasped as a sudden sensation hit him. His vision became blinded by the appearance of expanding red and black circles that continued to cover his view as the world around him seemed to become all distorted. It was a strange sensation indeed, and he felt a bit faint from it. "Just... what is happening?"
A few seconds passed as Jura's vision began to become more clear, and when it did, he widened his eyes as the world around him was slightly tinted a bit redder, though it was barely visible. What in the world just happened?! What was that sensation? Jura could only wonder before he leaned against the wall of the building he was next to.
'This has something to do with whatever device Aero was holding, but what could it mean?' Jura thought. Aero had asked quite a number of questions that related to Adder, and was this something that had to do with the man? He didn't know. Jura then soon noticed a figure rushing past him at blinding speeds as he looked to see it was none other than Aero. 'What? What are those clothes? And... what in the world?!'
Jura had widened his eyes as he saw Aero stop as he arrived in front of what appeared to be a massive brick and wooden building that was rectangular in shape, standing tall at the edge of the city with a pair of large wooden doors at the front. If he had to guess, this was as big as the guildhall was, and that just spoke of how large the building was! He had never seen it before, what was it?
Even more so, Jura noticed the incredible magic energy that the mere clothing that Aero was currently wearing. Were they embued with magic? There was no way Aero had changed clothes so fast, was it Requip magic? True to this, the clothes that Aero wore, his Phantom Thief outfit, was formed entirely of magic energy thanks to his Persona.
"So, this is Adder's Palace? So, it is a warehouse indeed." Aero said as he looked up at the massive structure. While a warehouse, it was definitely a really damn old one. In his world, warehouses were built entirely of materials like metal and concrete and such, this one was of wood and bricks. This world wasn't as technologically advanced, so it was understandable.
"It would appear so, and I am detecting the presence of some decently powerful shadows from within." Azrael's voice sounded. Aero nodded his head in understanding, he needed to be careful. He didn't know what kind of shadows were going to be in here.
"Yeah, I doubt the people of this world know of the existence of shadows. The power of the shadows are also probably far stronger than any kind of monster this world has to encounter." Aero added. While he didn't doubt that this world probably had some creatures and figures that could give him a challenge, he doubted there were many that could.
If you take Yaldabaoth for example, he was truly a powerful enemy. The only reason that he and his fellow Phantom Thieves managed to even fight against him without losing instantly was thanks to them working together as one. Even with both Wild Cards, Akira and himself, they were having extreme difficulty with the fake god. Even if the god was fake, his power was most definitely comparable to one, a powerful one.
"Aero, I am sensing the presence of someone else here. They're behind us."
"Hm?!" Aero widened his eyes at what his Persona said as he quickly turned his head around. He narrowed his eyes as he didn't see anyone, though he then focused his senses as he soon heard small sounds, sounds like small breathing and minor movements. "Come on out, I know you're there. There's no point hiding."
It was silent for a second, though he soon noticed someone stepping out from behind a small concrete wall of the town. He widened his eyes at who he saw come into view, it was Jura! How the heck did he get in here? He was certain that he hadn't been followed, how hadn't he noticed Jura? He needed to be more careful in the future...
"Jura, what are you doing here?"
"What is this place, Aero? I demand an explanation!" Jura stated strongly as he tapped his staff against the ground. Aero saw the confusion and shock all over his expression, which he could understand as that was the same the first time he had seen Kamoshida's Palace. "Does this have something to do with Adder? Just what is this exactly?!"
"Damnit... the Meta-Nav must have pulled him in with me!" Aero muttered under his breath at the situation right now, a similar thing happened with Ann. Though, she was able to come back in due to having the app, and he highly doubted Jura was the same.
He could try to force him out, but that would be bad as he would only end up getting on the bad side of him and also that he doubted the man would budge or be easy to just get out. While he was confident he could force Jura out with his power, it would no doubt alert every single Shadow! That would be very bad!
"Is this related to Adder?!"
"Jura, look. You need to get out of here. This place is far too dangerous."
"I am not leaving this place until I have an explanation! If this has something to do with Adder, then I'll get involved!" Aero shook his head in frustration. This was just like Ann! She had refused to leave, though they did manage to force her to, he doubted would be the same. "I want to know just what this place is and what it has to do with Adder!"
"Look, Jura. I don't have time to explain this to you, the Shadows might already be on their way." Aero responded as quietly as he could so Jura could still hear him. Jura seemed confused by the statement, what in the world was the boy talking about right now? "Shadows? What exactly do you mean by that?"
"Who are you people? Identify yourselves!"
"Who cares, we need to get rid of them!"
"Crap! It's too late, they're already here!" Aero gritted his teeth as he turned his head to see that three humanoid Shadows appeared from within the building. Jura had run up beside Aero as they looked at the Shadows, Jura seemed confused by their appearance. They appeared to be humans, but Jura could tell they were more than that. The magic they released were equal to that of top A-Class wizards!
The Shadows seemed to wear outfits that were very much similar to that of construction workers, even including the safety helmet that you usually see workers wearing to protect them from possible items falling onto their heads during work, as well as protect them in general. Finally, they each wore a white mask with orange glowing circle eyes.
"Damnit, we'll have to deal with this. Prepare yourself for battle, Jura!"
"Wh-What?"
