Right, so here I am, is anyone even reading this? Probably not, but I am just going to write, don't mindme

Angry shouts and laughter could be heard from the woods, as three teenage boys covered in mud and leaves chased a small brown haired prankster, you guessed it, this small prankster was none other than Jackson Overland himself, "Get back here, you brat" yelled the biggest and the dumbest Richard Bergess Jr.

"You're gonna have to catch me first" Jackson smirked as he ran faster, Richard growled trying to keep up with the troublemaker, "Where'd he go" asked Robert Ryndiger a blond with no manners "You were supposed to know that" accused Richard pointing a dirty finger at his 'ally'

"Me?!" shouted Robert "You were in front of us, blocking our sight" he pointed out

"Yeah" the third teenager, Christopher agreed

"You fools!" Richard hissed "Letting the brat get away"

Rustling suddenly echoed on their left "There" Christopher screamed "He's over there"

Richard rolled his eyes, as he threw his meaty arms in the air "Than what are you waiting for idiots? Get him!"

As soon as the three teens were out of earshot, a soft giggle escaped someone from somewhere above, up on the tree, there hung Jackson with his signature mischievous smile plastered on his lips, suddenly remembering what day it was, he jumped down jogging to the direction of his house.

"Hello Jackson" Brandon the baker greeted him midway his hurried run "I have just seen Richard,Robert, and Christopher all dirty and filthy, was that your work by any chance?" the elder man questioned amusement clear in his voice, already knowing the upcoming answer

"They deserved it" Jackson claimed "They made Susan cry"

Brandon chuckled "Well, I'm certain that she appreciated your cunning work" he gestured to a young red head, who smiled and waved once catching Jack's eye

"Now if I'm not mistaken" the brunette jumped up a bit, forgetting the friendly man was still with him "you are expecting a sibling today, correct?" Jackson grinned immediately "Yes, it's a girl"

Brandon looked at him with curious faded green eyes "How do you know? the baby is yet to be born" the boy in question shrugged innocently not wanting the old baker to find out his secret "You better hurry up then, you don't want to miss out your baby sister" the man winked "Goodbye Mr. Jamesons" he called after the baker

"Pa! Pa!" four year old Jackson burst through the door "Is she here yet?"

John Overland turned around shaply, seeing his son his features softened " What makes you think it's a girl little man? "

"The Wind told me so" the small boy spoke when his father took him in his arms "The wind?" John repeated setting his son down on a chair

Jackson nodded furiously, he had figured out it was the wind, North Wind to be specific that talked to him, "Yes Pa! The Wind" he looked at his father's skeptical expression with a small scowl, according to the wind he was the only 'mortal' that could ever hear her! Though he didn't really know what that meant.

"Know what?" John began enthusiastically, thinking that maybe this 'wind' was just another part of his imagination, he would soon grow from all the pranks and fun, and become a man. right?

"If it's a girl, why don't you name her?"

"Really?!"

"Really" John confirmed

The very same lady from 4 years ago entered room, the frown was visible making the father sweat "John" she motioned him to come forward, shakily he did

Jackson waited (im)patiently for the adults that never came back, he heard hushed whispers from the other side of the house, but he couldn't make out the words, groaning also reached his ears making the boy confused

Chocolate brown eyes gazed to the small window as he felt a small breeze enter the wooden house "Wind?" the boy had to make sure his friend, no no best friend, eh that was Thomas, so um... bestest friend, super best friend? Was that a thing? It is now! Jackson decided with a nod of his own approval

"Yes Jack?" the boy liked how she called him 'Jack' and not 'Jackson'; he preferred it over his full name, Thomas took a liking at that and called him 'Jack' now too, and once the smaller boy suggested to call him 'Tom' for short, the boy was quick to nod with the biggest smile Jack had ever seen him wear. He really did wish the adults could call them by the short version of their names, but no a name is a name. Jack almost scoffed out loud

"Do you know what's going on?" he asked quietly concern was evident in his tone

"They are talking about your mother and sister" she replied simply. Jack rose a questioning dark eyebrow "Why?"

Before Wind had a chance to open her mouth (she didn't have one) John came into the room, he smiled rather sadly at his eldest "C'mere son, let us see your mother" he ruffled Jackson's hair affectionately

Mary looked at the urge of passing out, yet still holding her newborn child, looking at it lovingly, John immediately made his way to the bed, putting his large hand on his young wife's shoulder "Jackson sweetie come here" the brown headed boy obliged, walking slowly over to his mother

"Do you want to hold your baby sister?" she asked gently, Jack's head shot up, giving his dumbfounded father a smug look before nodding rapidly "Father said that you could name her" Mary shot her husband a small glare through her smile, who smiled rather innocently once snapping out of his trance

Jackson pondered for seconds, names after names shot through his head "Ella, her name is Ella"

"Ella?" his mother brought a hand to her chin, pretending to think "I like that" Mary shared the same huge smile with her son as John agreed

'Ella' opened her eyes, her brown eyes looked at Jack with wonder "Hi Ella, I'm your big brother, I won't let anything happen to you" his parents smiled warmly at their two children "we can prank good-old Mr.Butcher together!" he finished with a proud grin, while his parents shared a laugh

Ella giggled happily at the boy in front of her "Aw, Jackson she likes you" Mary cooed

"Let us go Jackson, your mother and sister need rest" Jack handed the small girl(who turned out to be bigger than Jack when he was born) and let his father lead his over to his room

"Congratulations Jack"

Jackson Overland smiled.

So I decided to call Jack's sister 'Ella' I've researched it and apparently on one site it's Mary, then it's Emma, after that it's Pippa. Very very confusing, so long story short I called her ELLA! alisafury2007 OUT!
