"Move it, nerd." Izuku's eyes widened. His eyes trailed the back of Bakugou. Uraraka was glaring over at him.

"Hey, uh.." Izuku piped up, "You don't think he overheard us, right?"

"I uh... doubt it, don't worry about it."

Izuku's eyes were trained on him until he finally walked out of sight. Good, I don't even want to think about how bad he would taunt me for this.

Izuku laid face down on his bed, rewinding the thoughts about Todoroki and the possibility that Bakugou heard. He pulled out his phone from underneath his pillow and dialed Uraraka.

Hey, what's up, Deku?

"Hey Uraraka, I can't shake the feeling-"

It's fine, Deku, don't worry so much! Remember what I said? Todoroki is so into you.

"No, it's not that…" Izuku turned in his bed and stared out of his window.

What is it, Deku?

"Can I tell you something that you promise not to tell anyone? And I mean it."

Of course, sorry about the whole Todoroki thing today. I'm just so sure he shares your feelings, and he's not exactly known for sharing his emotions. You can tell me anything, I promise, I won't tell another soul!

Izuku bit his lip and sighed, "Well growing up, I use to really like Kacchan-"

BAKUGOU! BUT-

"Yeah, I know, he pretty much hates my guts… but something about him always made me appreciate him as a fighter, no matter what he always does, everything he can to win. As toxic as a trait that might be, it shows that he's got spirit, and I admired that about him… although." Izuku trailed off and closed his eyes in frustration.

What..?

"For me, that ship sailed a long time ago. It's not like he did something, in particular, to make me dislike him, after all the things he has said to me. The things he's done to me, well… It made me realize that it would never happen, and that in this life, we're meant to be rivals and nothing more. Besides…" He trailed off as he stared off to his desk on the opposite side of his room. A single All Might pin decorated in blue and red stood in a small glass box.

Bakugou isn't someone I would ever see being remotely kind to anyone. Relationship wise I'm not entirely sure he's cut out for that. Sure he might rise to any challenge, but tackling love isn't something I see him winning in.

Izuku smiled at the thought of Bakugou, "Right."

The next day they were back at gym gamma, and Izuku and Iida were off in the corner practicing the same moves.

"Like this?" Asked Izuku as he stuck out his leg and swung.

"Yeah, but try and extend your ankle. Otherwise, you might injure yourself," said Iida as he struck a pose with his leg in the air.

Izuku studied it carefully, mumbling to himself, Izuku positioned himself ready and swung out his leg a second time, "Like that?"

"Yes! You've got it! It's all about practice," said Iida proudly.

"Thank you, I really appreciate you taking the time to show me some of your moves!" Izuku said with a huge smile.

A huge fiery flame rose from the top of the cement hills, "Focus Todoroki!" Yelled out Ectoplasm.

"You know, you didn't have to hit me over the head," said Todoroki as he rubbed the spot on the back of his head.

"Looking off into space, a hero does not make!"

Todoroki took one last glance at Izuku's smile and smiled to himself. He really does captivate, he thought to himself. He turned the other way to catch Bakugou, staring at Izuku in the same manner. Bakugou?

"Hey, look out!" Cried out, Bakugou, as a piece of cement debris, came tumbling down exactly where All Might was standing.

"Shoot style!" A streak of green was the only visible thing before Izuku destroyed the debris making the rocks into nothing other than a few pebbles landing softly on the floor below. All Might looked above as he saw Izuku streak through the air above him, Bakugou stood back and smirked. His smirk slowly turned into a soft smile as he cocked his head to the side.

Todoroki standing a few feet below him, stared up at Bakugou's odd expression. How strange, I don't think I've ever seen Bakugou genuinely smile before. Could it be that he actually likes Midoriya..? He doesn't seem to be the sentimental type. Todoroki's eyebrows lowered, his eyes focusing on Izuku once more. Well, Bakugou, that makes two of us and trust me… Midoriya deserves more than you can ever offer.

Night crawled upon the students of class 1A, and the evening air was bustling with many students trying to whip up noodles for dinner.

Yayorozu had her nose in a book trailing her finger down the page, "Let's see... Do we have any green onions?"

Ojiro stuck up his thumb and pointed it at his chest, "Let me check!"

"I can cut them up if you like," said Todoroki as he entered the kitchen.

"Todoroki! You're here!" Squealed Uraraka.

Todoroki raised an eyebrow, "Yeah? Why wouldn't I be?"

Uraraka turned to face Izuku, who was sitting on the couch, already staring at Todoroki. Uraraka sent him a wink with a thumbs up. Izuku's face turned bright red. She turned to face him with a smile, "Oh no reason, it's just, Deku wants to tell you something is all!" Todoroki raised an eyebrow and cocked his head to the side to meet eyes with a wide-eyed Izuku.

"Oh? What is it, Mydoria?" responded Todoroki. Bakugo snapped his gaze toward Todoroki, who seemed oblivious. Kirishima, who was sitting next to Bakugou in the dining room, which occupied four to a table, traced his glare toward Todoroki, raising an eyebrow in confusion.

Izuku stood up, waving his hands in the air, "Oh! It's nothing, don't worry about it!" Izuku walked over and patted Ururaka in the back with a nervous smile, "H-hey uh, Ururaka, could you come here a sec." She looked over her shoulder and nodded. They both slipped out of the common area into the hallway.

A chair screeched, and everyone looked over at Bakugou, "Hey, where are you going?" Asked Kaminari as he set down a pot onto the stove, "Aren't you going to help?"

"I'm going to bed, Lightning rod," he walked past everyone, still eyeing him.

"This early?" Asked Sero as he opened the fridge from across the counter with his tape. Bakugou walked across the dining room and glared over at Todoroki. Todoroki stood unamused with his behavior, returning the stare as he walked out of sight.

"Wonder what's gotten into him." Asked Asui as she raised a finger to her chin.

Kaminari started laughing, "It's Bakugou! I'd be totally creeped out if he was in a good mood!" He put his arm around Kirishima, who smiled softly at the idea of it being nothing, but even he knew that something was up. "Am I right?"

Kirishima smiled softly, "Right."

"Here you go Todoroki, can you chop these up?" Hagakure asked, handing over the green onions that seemed to float.

Todoroki held out his hands, "Yeah, sure."

Bakugou rounded the corner and walked past Ururaka, who was walking back to the kitchen. Looking ahead, he noticed Izuku standing nearby. "Going to bed already?" Asked Izuku.

Bakugou looked over his shoulder and glanced into Izuku's emerald eyes. Tch, those annoying eyes of yours. "Yeah, what's it to you, nerd?" He threw his head up in the air and walked toward the elevators.

"Well…" muttered Izuku. Bakugou looked out of the corner of his eye and saw Izuku's eyelids droop sadly, accompanied by a slight frown. Bakugou pressed the elevator button and turned around to meet eyes with him once more, "Have a good night." Izuku's lips twitched with a slight smile, his eyes trailed the ground back to the kitchen. Bakugo's eyes widened as he focused on the smile that spread across his face at the sight of Todoroki. He's so happy when he's with him… tch, why do I care!? Bakugou stepped onto the elevator as it slid open.

"Hey, wait up!" A hand stopped the elevator doors from closing just in time. Bakugo's eye twitched in irritation. Kirishima stepped into the elevator and let the doors close, "Hey man, not to butt into your business or anything but, do you want to talk about it?"

Bakugo glared over at Kirishima, "Talk about what?"

"I don't know, you tell me," he said, nudging him with a sly smile.

Bakugou grunted, "I have no idea what you're talking about, you idiot."

"Midoriya, of course!"

"What about that damn nerd?"

"Well, It's obvious!" The elevator door opened with a ding.

"Tch, I have no idea what you're talking about," He stuffed his hands into his pockets. Bakugou stepped out as soon as the doors slid open.

Kirishima didn't move and instead just called out to him, "We both know that you know what I'm talking about, Katsuki!"

"Yeah, whatever you say, dumb hair."

The next morning Bakugou was walking down the pathway that led to the back entrance of the school. Kirishima ran down the pathway catching up to Bakugou, "Hey, Bakugou!" Bakugou twitched at the sound of his voice, "Wait up, man!" Bakugou quickened his speed to no avail, "Morning!" He said as he slapped his shoulder slightly.

"Yeah, Morning," he said grumpily.

"So about last night… I've got a crazy idea," said Kirishima as he leaned in close.

"Oh yeah? I don't want to hear it."

"So that's why you're always so angry at Midoriya. You totally dig em' don't you!?" Said Kirishima as he took a few steps to the side to avoid any backlash.

"WHAT DID YOU SAY DUMB HAIR!?" His eyes widened in pure rage as sparks flew from the palms of his hands.

"HEY! HEY! Part of the process is accepting, just when are you going to accept it, Katsuki!"

Bakugou threw his head in the air, "Tch, how did you even come to that conclusion anyway!?"

Kirishima stepped closer to fill the gap, "Pft it's so obvious. Whenever you think no one is looking, you're always looking at him with that stare!"

"WHAT STARE!?" He shouted. "Deku is my rival, and as such, I want to crush him like the bug that he is!" He said as they rounded the corner that had bushes lining up on opposite sides of the path.

"It's so like you to blow up at anything you can't understand or hope to defeat," said Kirishima with a smirk. "Your feelings are one of those things. Also, I haven't heard you deny it, so now I'm totally sure!" He said as he pumped his fist in the air. Bakugou snapped his gaze over his shoulder and immediately noticed someone closing in the distance between them

"You totally dig-" Bakugou covered his mouth and blasted him into a nearby bush.

Bakugou dusted off his shirt, "Oh, Good Morning, Kacchan!" Said Izuku with a huge smile.

Bakugou broke their eye contact and looked off into the distance, "Yeah, whatever."

"Wasn't Kirishima with you?" Asked Izuku as he looked around for signs of someone else.

"What makes you say that?" Asked Bakugou.

"Well you two left almost at the same time, I figured you two were walking to class together..?" Izuku looked up at Bakugou with big round eyes, but Bakugou refused to look at him. "Well, I'll see you in class, bye!" He said as he walked away.

After a long pause, Kirishima's head popped out of the bush with a huge grin. His face covered in ash from the explosion, "Totally dig em'!"

Bakugou snapped his angry stare back onto him, with hands at the ready, "DO YOU WANT ANOTHER SHITTY HAIR!?"
