I am sorry this update has come so late and is not what you will have expected. But for those who stick around on my profile and stories, this is an update to what is going on with me currently and in my life.

First of all, as you may notice, this is a non-chapter update. Unfortunately, I must announce that as of now, this story is on an indefinite hiatus, for reasons I am about to explain: First of all, I apologise for going completely AWOL on this story from the beginning of May. Out of nowhere I just lost all of my motivation to write which is a huge shame, and try as I might I just haven't been able to rediscover it. So for those who were waiting on a new chapter update, I apologise. There is no good reason for not updating my story, just losing all motivation to write.

The second and most important reason is several very big changes coming up in my life. I am currently job hunting like crazy for a full-time job to help pay for the second exciting announcement: my girlfriend and I are going to be living together in our own rented place, so that is going to keep me very busy over the next few months which unfortunately means I won't have any time for writing and updating my stories.

Rest assured I don't hope to be gone forever. I will be keeping my stories and all relevant documents on my PC, and will be constantly saving the documents currently stored on the Fanfiction website so that I don't lose them in case the worst happens. And when I do return, it will most likely coincide with the next season of the Rising of the Shield Hero which in turn will make me want to put up the sequel to my first story right away when that happens. So that means if and when I do come back, this story will take a back seat, although rest assured I will return to it one day to give it its proper finish.

I'm sorry again for this not being the news you will want to hear, but to everyone who has stuck by me through all of my stories so far, thank you for staying for as long as you have. If any of you wish to unfollow or unfavourite me and my stories, that is your prerogative and I thank you for all the support you have given me up to this point. To all those who wish to stick around, like I said I hope to return one day! But for now, this is theoneandonlyedster signing out for the time being.
