Dracula

Kagome sat back a bit, biting the inside of her cheek as her thoughts wandered to the infamous vampire and what she actually knew about him.

Was he actually real to begin with?

'Youkai are real, so why can't Kyuketsuki be?' The Miko thought, looking over the blonde woman and noting that she did have minor burns, 'Oh please, just be a word in their language.'

Her hands began to glow on the unconscious woman's wounds as her thoughts began to carry away, 'Dracula,' Kagome fidgeted, 'I believe he lives in Transylvania, which is in Romania,' Her blue eyes widened, almost falling to her side at the realization, but kept her hands on the stranger she had saved, 'So it's not German or Polish they are speaking, but Romanian?'

She certainly would not have guessed that.

But wait–

Wasn't Dracula based off of someone else?

'I'm just confusing myself,' Kagome sighed, satisfied with her healing and wiping the soot off the woman's face the best she could with her own sleeves, "Bastards. That man dared to call himself a holy man." She muttered darkly, remembering that she had to leave her backpack full of supplies behind.

Kagome sat up against a tree, waiting for the woman to wake up while keeping guard and lamenting the fact that she did not even have any sort of paper to make an Ofuda or a Shikigami with, 'I wonder what year it is,' She thought vaguely, drawing shapes in the dirt, 'Please be at least the same year.'

But if she really was in Romania, how the hell would she get back to Japan by herself?

A moan broke her thoughts.

"N-nu-i omori..." The blonde sighed, blinking her eyes open and stared blankly at the forest above her, "Dracula."

Well, that sealed the deal.

"A-ano," Kagome licked her lips nervously, catching the woman's eye, "I saved you from those witch-hunting idiots," She said in Japanese, deflating when all she seemed to get was confusion, "Well, ahh, English?"

"Engleză, Învăţare," The woman slowly sat up, seemingly surprised, "Magyarul?" She asked and Kagome blinked, not sure what was going on, "Türkçe?"

And she stiffened.

A dark, dark energy seemed to encase the entire area and Kagome stood up, looking back to where they had come from, 'What the hell is that?!'

"Dracula." The woman said sadly, shaking her head and murmuring in her own language and finally took her head in her hands.

'Okay,' Kagome thought, thumbing the Azusa Bow on her shoulder, 'This woman does appear to at least know... Dracula,' It was still hard to believe he was real, but she had seen stranger things, 'But that doesn't mean I'm safe in any means.'

The Miko turned to the woman, pointing towards herself, "Kagome Higurashi," That was how westerners introduced themselves, right? First name first? "Kagome Higurashi." She repeated for good measure and smiled, pointing towards her.

"Ah," The woman blinked, smiling back, "M-ai salvat," She placed her hand on her heart, "Lisa Ţepeş," She bowed her head, "Aveți cea mai mare recunoștință a mea."

Kagome knew instinctively that the woman was thanking her, having seen that expression before, "It's what I was born to do!" She replied cheerfully before turning a bit grim, 'It's only a matter of time before... whatever that darkness is passes here,' The Miko eyed her companion for a moment, 'Even the most spiritually-insensitive human would be able to sense this, yet she does not seem afraid.'

She slid her Azuza Bow off her shoulder just in case, feeling it hum in tune with her power as she waited for what it be a very interesting encounter.

It was time to meet Dracula.
