Full summary: Because Sakura's never been anything but a fighter and she'd tear through flesh and bones in order to protect her precious people. Because she's back, alive and breathing, for the 13th fucking time. Because when Sakura awakens as Sasuke's younger twin sister, she knows she's got to hit the ground running to even stand a chance up against the council, Orochimaru, and Kaguya. Because Sakura promised herself the first time she was reincarnated that she'd do right by her boys and dammit she'll make sure they know happiness like the back of their hands. Because Uchiha Sakura knows her brothers deserve another, better life, and deserve happiness themselves. And, most importantly, because Sakura's an Uchiha and the love of an Uchiha is a powerful thing, strong enough to last forever. 500 words.

It was a big big world, but we thought we were bigger. Pushing each other to the limits, we were learning quicker.

Mikoto is beyond tired after giving birth to her first child in the set of twins she'd been carrying. A boy, just like her eldest child predicted, and if he was right again, she'd have a lovely girl next that she could spoil rotten. The Uchiha matriarch had always wanted a girl, even though her husband wasn't exactly fond of the idea. 'A girl would never be strong enough for the head family,' he always argued. Still, Mikoto wished for a daughter.

Halfway through birthing her next child, Mikoto felt a strange rush of power come from inside her. Her tiredness disappeared, and she felt everyone's eyes on her. This child didn't cry as her twin did, but true enough, Itachi had been right again. A precious baby girl. Mikoto lay back in the hospital bed, worn out, but a small portion of that odd energy stayed.

Her husband gave her a weary look and cleared his throat, she then realized that her Sharingan had become active during her daughter's birth. Her tired eyes bled from red to dark grey once more and gave her husband a soft smile. She had held his hand throughout the whole process, gave it one last squeeze, and released it.

The Uchiha clan's doctors brought back both of her newborn children. Fugaku held the boy while Mikoto cradled the girl, both so precious and beautiful. "Sasuke," she and Fugaku had agreed on that name, had a small tuff of black hair peeking through the blanket that swaddled him. He had dark, inky eyes like Fugaku instead of her own grey-toned ones. But much to her surprise, when her daughter opened her eyes she saw a flash of red and gasped. Her husband immediately turned to look at his only daughter and his breath caught as well.

His youngest had been born with a pair of fully formed Sharingan, something that had not occurred since before the Warring States period. Actually, it had been a myth told around the clan for centuries, spoken in old wives' tales to help encourage the younger generation to gain their dojutsu. He had not wanted a daughter at first, but he was starting to love her, especially since it had been her to awaken their famed prowess at birth. When her eyes switched them off, something that most newly awakened children had trouble with, her red orbs faded to bright spring green. It bewildered the new couple immensely, but when Mikoto suggested the name Sakura, he'd find that nothing better would have suited their child.

Itachi, on the other hand, worried greatly for his sister. He was under constant pressure as he was clan heir and burdens were the last things he had wanted for either of his siblings. In fact, he'd made a small goal that they would never have to suffer the fate that he was constantly living through. Even so, he would protect them fiercely and would never allow any harm to come to them.

Never.

I should definitely not be starting another story but hopefully, I can keep up with everything during this quarantine! This story is non-romance centric as compared to the majority of my stories, so hopefully, this gets taken well with my followers.

As always, please review. Reviews make the world go 'round!
