A/N: Hi! This is my first story on FanFiction so thank you very much for deciding to read this story. Hence, it would be great if you could tell me if you didn't like it or it wasn't good as I'm always open to constructive criticism but if you wouldn't mind, of course, could you possibly tell me if you did like it? Anyways, I will try to update this story as soon as possible and I already have the next chapter so I hope you keep reading.

DISCLAIMER: This is a crossover story and I do not own either of these works - neither the Harry Potter series (which is JK Rowling's) or the Twilight series (Stephenie Meyer's). Any characters you recognise are not mine and the only thing I own is the plot. If the plot is also one you recognise, it was definitely not my intention to copy it and I am terribly sorry if it seems the same. NO COPYRIGHT INFRINGEMENT IS INTENDED.

SATURDAY MAY 7TH 2005

"There's nothing on her."

The comparably loud growl was accompanied by a loud slap of files hitting the stained glass of the table. Alice winced, not used to being caught unawares in any situation. It reminded her of the shape-shifters which made her uncomfortable and twitchy and, overall, this was not a good day for her. Looking to Jasper for comfort and Edward for confirmation, she relaxed and tensed at the same time, wishing she could feel some pain at the awkward movement of the cold granite that was her body. He's not lying, at least but that leaves one question: who the hell is she? The slight grimace Edward wasn't able to hide from his otherwise blank face told her that he'd heard her thought and he was just as confused. Jasper picked up the brown folder and said, "Thank you for your time, Mr. Jenks. The money will be transferred by tonight."

Mr. Jenks nodded and they proceeded to leave the secure office they were in. He stopped Jasper when he had nearly reached the door.

"Listen Mr. Hale, this girl is crazy. She's either a goddamn spy or literally died and is a ghost because there is nothing about her as soon as she turns 11. I've given you the file so look into it but nothing. I looked through everything I could find and trust me, I tried my best with the best of my contacts but it's completely hidden. She's completely hidden, as if someone was trying to hide her, do you understand me? She's trouble. Don't go looking for her and don't let her find you either."

If only the Cullens had listened to him from the start.
