School time went by peacefully as Naruto watched out for any challengers or potential recruits. He was on his way back home with Jirobo and Gon when they came across a scene of violence in the park.

It was poor looking old man that was getting beat by college guys for fun it seems and they were even recording it.

This wasn't unheard of as the current system was still in its beginner phase and couldn't protect its citizens with such lacking force.

"Let me handle them" Naruto put his hands on their shoulders before they entered the brawl and dashed at the scum

"Hey, how about trying someone that can fight back?" Naruto screamed as he crashed into the one holding a metal bat

With his speed enhanced by the chakra force, making him fly into the foe, the enemy was sent flying along with him and both crashed into the slides.

Naruto was fine but the target had hit his side on the slide with too much force so screamed in pain.

"I expected more from adults but you guys can even take a beating." Naruto muttered in annoyance as he kicked the guy, causing him to scream even more as his rib cracked

These so called adults didn't even stay their ground and bolted as they had seen the scene, and looked at the ground where it looked like a monster had stepped on

"Cowards!" Naruto said as he attacked them from the back, Jirobo and Gon had blocked the path allowing him the chance

They begged for mercy and promised not to repeat but Naruto made sure their bodies remembered the consequences as the three beat them up together while they gave no resistance as they didn't want to experience a chakra attack.

After dealing with them, Naruto helped up the old man, "Mister, are you okay? Do you need medical help?"

The old man with gray hair and red eyes looked at him with a smile and shook his head, "Thank you, young man."

"Well then take care, have some money and buy some good food." Naruto gave him some money before leaving, he felt weird as the old man had a very strong body

'Hard labor?'

The incident was the only thing that happened the day as the trio was trained. Gon and Jirobo couldn't last long and did training made for them while Naruto trained for a long time.

After training Naruto was feeling restless, he had changed so much in single setting and made sure to ensure a good future so he wanted to know if it changed.

"Father, I am going back to the future so take care." Naruto said as he went to visit Ichigo in the park where he called him

The process was done and Naruto expected at least better living standards but found his body floating in air. No, he didn't have a body. He was just a spirit now.

'Damn, I died.' Naruto guessed but how it happened that he had to find and if he could still go back

He wasn't panicking at the moment as he controlled his reaction; his soul was fluctuating from the pressure he felt.

It was hard thing to not give into despair at this point as he had died and was a spirit, this could have been his last chance.

'I really shouldn't have given into my impatience.' Naruto thought as he flew towards the city below and found the his house still standing strong

He wasn't sure if it was taken over or not so Naruto flew inside and found his father aged with white hair sitting in his study like he left him.

Naruto felt relief as he could be happy as long as his parents survived, his life wasn't that important.

"You said today is the day you will arrive, son. I have not cried a single tear waiting for you to come back even when the current you died. I guess I was delusional like your mother said." Jun muttered absentmindedly and drank alcohol to help him through the grief that he had held back

Naruto remembered saying those words and couldn't believe that his father held on for so long, "Father, I am here."

Naruto screamed as he flew around Jun and tried touching him but nothing happened. He remembered stories about ghosts and tried to focus on whatever energy was inside his body as he wrote on the wall.

"Father, I am here. What happened, tell me?"

Jun dropped his glass as he saw the words on the wall and trembled from joy, his tears wouldn't stop.

"Welcome back, I am sorry that I couldn't protect you. We had forgotten that unknown man, we assumed he would only attack you in the future but because you became a shinobi and increased in rank, it brought attention and he attacked you before you turned 18. He was too strong; within seconds he had killed hundreds of jounin and taken you with him." Jun explained as he showed a progress report of everything

Naruto listened carefully but felt his ghost form become weaker, 'I need to go back before I die for real. Also I can't come back again as I don't get the memories.'

Naruto bid farewell as he flew towards Ichigo's office and flew through him, contact was achieved and he arrived back in the past.

It seems weeks had passed since Naruto left to the future so he was unsure on what just happened. Talking with his father gave him the picture as Jun had made sure Naruto reported everything.

Before finishing the talk, Naruto also told him about the new future and Jun changed his plans. Naruto would not advertise his powers and the only publicity he will get will be for business.

Naruto and gang had become strong, their names were started to get known in the region. Koji had challenged him to a rematch while using a chakra pill that almost crippled him to get a power boost but Naruto had taken him down with ease as he was training everyday without rest.

He had met Natsu again and was invited to join the crew or face retribution. Naruto's response was showing him the middle finger and telling him to stop dreaming as this city was his to rule.

Natsu had smiled at his response and left but not before showing him the difference between them; one kick had sent Naruto flying into the street lights.

Only one day had gone by since then and Naruto from the future joined back so he was unsure on what to do. He had ensured his strength and wealth but his enemy was too strong, one leak and he was dead.

'What can I do? This is just looking to be impossible.' Naruto thought as he had somehow arrived back at the park in his neighborhood

"What's bothering you, child?"

"Old man, you are still here?" Naruto was surprised to see the same man again

"Why shouldn't I be here?"

"No reason, I just thought you know."

"I see, so your lack of power has been causing you stress?"

"Yeah, how do you know?" Naruto jumped back as he eyed the man suspiciously

"Because I can feel it, I can see it very visibly. Do bot be afraid as I have come to offer you a chance at power of immortality and invincibility as gratitude for your good behavior. You have the potential but need someone like me to awaken it."

Naruto stared at the man as he became younger and taller, filled with a strong aura that made him almost kneel.

"Who are you?"

"I am someone unknown to the world for millennia but people call me Lord Jashin, The benevolent."

Naruto stared at him as he took in the words, he hadn't heard about Jashin so he was unsure but his words were very attractive as he was feeling lost at the moment.

"I need proof, let's see bring the arm of Sasuke Uchiha." Naruto said as he looked at him

"Hahah, good. Don't trust people so easily and this task seems vengeful, do you hate the kid?"

"No"

"It will prove my statement, if I can take the arm of the brother of the current Fire Lord. Then wait for me, I will be back." Jashin muttered as he sank into the ground

Naruto felt excited by the show of power and confidence, he quickly took out his phone for any news and waited for his new master.

'For power to protect my people, I will do anything.' Naruto thought and smiled as Jashin reappeared with an arm, and turned into ash

"Let's go, we have a lot of work to do."
