Naruto - The Wandering Trainer

Challenge by ZXAdvent.

Hello, welcome to another chapter of this challenge story. Thank you for the continued support on the story, I appreciate it greatly. I'm also glad that everyone is enjoying the Pokemon team and the pairings involved in this story, as using underused Pokemon or unloved Pokemon is something nice and refreshing every once in a while, especially when it comes to pairings.

Anyway, don't forget to leave a Review, Follow and Favorite, also checking out my other stories is appreciated as well, you might find something you like and didn't know about it yet.

If you want this to happen, let me know, either by leaving your thoughts in the reviews, answering the poll on my profile or simply PM'ing me.

KuronoDono12: Well, I will see about a Legendary Pokemon, it can't hold a large significance in the world however, like a Dialga or Palkia, but I will see what I can do. It may not even be strong or used that much if I do give him one. Tyranitar on the other hand, not likely, as he already has a Psuedo-Legendary on his team - that being Goodra. Thanks for leaving the review and I hope you enjoy the upcoming chapters.

Eniox27: Well, the problem is he hasn't caught any 'weaker' Pokemon per se, he is just traveling the region and enjoying his time there, but I will see what I can do so he isn't walking around with a fully evolved team all the time. Thanks for leaving the review, and I hope you enjoy the upcoming chapters.

WARNING - Be prepared for an information dump this chapter, it will also explain some things when it concerns the Harem, this might not be what ZXAdvent told me, but it would be worth something to put it in to have another reason as to why Naruto would have a Harem.

(xxx)

Also, before we begin, if you could check out Naruto - Galar's Spiral, that would be appreciated. It might not fit into some of your tastes, but it was a challenge sent to me, so if you could check it out and possibly Review, Favorite and Follow it, it would be appreciated. Since the challenge is already finished, I won't be able to change major things around, but it would still be appreciated to have some constructive criticism when it comes to it that I can use for other stories.

Chapter 3

It had felt like the last two days had been going so slowly for Naruto. The knowledge that the person that he ran into and felt some sort of emotional connection to turning out to be someone that was basically lying right to his face and hid her true self, and revealing it to him in the worst possible way - by trying to steal someone elses Pokemon directly in front of his eyes.

Since he was someone not born in the Kanto or Johto regions and having as little knowledge as possible on Team Rocket, as he was someone who didn't really pay attention to the news or the radio, it was quiet a blow for him when he was given the details of the trio of Team Rocket members. How much they stole in the past, how much fear the organisation itself had brought onto the population and of course, how many attempts at stealing Ash's Pikachu and any other Pokemon that had caught their interest.

Even Team Magma and Team Aqua back in the Hoenn region weren't as bad as Team Rocket, at least they didn't go around stealing other peoples Pokemon, and all they really cared about was expanding the land and expanding the sea respectively.

Still, he wasn't one to judge someone as simply as that. If he saw or heard someone doing something that wasn't right, then he would allow them to redeem themselves in his eyes, and if they didn't, that was when he would just not even bother with them to begin with, although, from the slight emotion sensing that he had been taught and had some practice with due to his Pokemother, he sensed that Jessie was in a state of turmoil and shock, as those were the heaviest emotions that she was releasing from her body at that time. He also had to guess that she ran away, as she wasn't with the other semi-knocked out members when Officer Jenny finally came and placed both James and Meowth under arrest.

He didn't understand how that was dealt with, what did happen when a Pokemon was under arrest? Would they be sent to Pokeprison? It was a question that he guessed had never been answered before.

Anyway, back on with his little emotional turmoil, about the feeling that having someone he felt connected to and having them being a part of an evil organisation, along with them fleeing the scene leaving behind supposedly, her two partners to be arrested by the police while she herself was on the run. Even his Gardevoir had a troubled time to help calm his vast feelings of emotions and mood swings during those two days.

However, hopefully that was done and dusted now after the two days that he had spent traveling, not really having his mind set on any destination as he was just allowing his body to guide him.

Maybe he had changed course and direction as his body felt another pull, one that almost compelled him entirely, however, he simply wasn't paying any real attention, so he had no idea if his body actually listened to the pull.

It was odd. He didn't know what the pull that his body felt was, as the only time his body actually reacted to someone was when he felt a 'spark' when he met Jessie the first time, and if the superstition from his hometown was correct, then it meant that he might've found someone that he could connect to on the emotional and spiritual level, and from what he heard from the elders of his town, that spark meant they he might've found his soulmate, or someone who was willing to change their ways in order to become his soulmate.

He even heard some odd stories from one of the most perverted elders, who happened to be a monk, say that it was indeed possible for one to feel the feeling multiple times when it came to different people. Although Naruto highly doubted that as the monk was off his block and was rather perverted, which sadly carried on from his younger years.

How was it even possible to become a monk or sage and still have those characteristics deep within oneself, as that seemed to be rather contradictory from what he actually was.

"Gar!"

Blinking a few times as he felt a dainty hand slap him across the back of the head, he turned his gaze from seemingly staring at the nothingness of the vast blue sky to his Pokemon, who he saw was bringing her arm back, looking a little sheepish as she did so, "Hmm?" He hummed out, wanting to know what caused her to do that.

He had long since started to overlook some of the things that his Gardevoir did, having the strong bond they had meant that Naruto knew that she wasn't doing it to hurt him, mainly to garner his attention or snap him out of something. It was eerily similar to what siblings do to try and get the others attention, or dare he say it, 'As a married couple.' He thought to himself, a small blush on his face as he compared what Gardevoir did to what he saw when he was younger and in the Hoenn region.

He then felt a small outside intrusion enter his mind, before it vanished again a second later, glancing at Gardevoir, he couldn't help but grin at the massive blush that she had on her cheeks and had her eyes looking anywhere but him.

Sometimes, it was too easy to fluster his Gardevoir, and the reactions each time were priceless.

Although, he had to sigh to himself. He wasn't sure if his Gardevoir knew it, but at one point during his time in Hoenn, he did indeed feel a 'spark' from Gardevoir. He wasn't sure if she felt it either, or maybe she did and that was why she was devoted to him and never seemed to be upset with him, she was just always there and happy for him, and even understanding.

Maybe she felt some emotions coming from him when he felt the 'spark' when he first came into contact with Jessie.

Shaking his head from those thoughts, he finally brought his attention in front of him, where he saw they were located at the top of the hill that was nearby a rather large city. Frowning lightly as he didn't know where exactly he was, he glanced around the area, before he found a small picket sign in the ground where he could see some writing placed on it, but due to the distance they were, he couldn't read it.

Taking a few paces towards the sign, he could finally read what it said, and he had to wonder what exactly compulsed him to visit the city, even though he wasn't doing the Kanto gym challenge.

Saffron City, the Shining Big City

Humming to himself, he glanced over towards his Gardevoir, who was levitating a few inches above the ground to prevent her gown from getting dirty or to prevent her feet from becoming tired from the constant walking, "So, Yuki, want to check this place out?" He asked her, calling her by her nickname rather than her species name.

Glancing towards the city her trainer was talking about, she couldn't help but shiver lightly from the emotions that she could feel coming from the place. While it wasn't all that bad, it still had some negative emotions basically floating in the air and covering the city. Some despair, and also some fear was the heavy emotions that she felt, but she could also feel some positive emotions.

Which was odd, considering that the place almost felt like it was drowning in negativity.

Looking back towards her trainer, she shrugged her shoulders, "Voir." She called out, she didn't mind, as long as Naruto was fine and happy to go there, then she would too. If something bad would happen, she would gladly risk her own life to protect her loved one, and she knew that he would do the same.

Grinning lightly as he basically recieved the go ahead from Yuki, he gestured for her to follow him, "Well, come on, the sooner we get there, the quicker I can find out why I felt a pull coming from here." He said, before turning around and heading down the path of the hill leading towards the large city that was seemingly bathed in a dim golden light, "Oh, and stay close, something about this city seems... off." He added on.

He had felt the exact same thing as Yuki, and it put him on edge. Maybe something bad had recently happened here to make the lingering emotions so strong that it made Gardevoir shiver.

Either way, he would protect Gardevoir by returning her to her Luxary Ball, even if it meant that he was placing his own life in danger.

Sabrina by no means was a normal girl, in fact, she had never been remotely close to normal, from her earliest memories, she could remember herself being... unnatural to many, considering that she was able to move things that her parents put out of reach to her when she was misbehaved, and that caused herself to get into even more trouble, yet it also caused some fear to manifest in the hearts of her parents, which in turn made the relationship she had with them strained at most, and at best, it was respect.

As she grew up, her emotions meant less and less, as she focused more on her powers when she realised that her emotions were connected to her powers. She shut herself away, creating a new 'self' one of which displayed the childish emotions that she had, and her other self had a fascination with dolls.

Whoever failed to beat her in the gym battle, she turned into dolls, and she kept them that way. Meaning some of them had been dolls for well over three months, some of them were lucky and were only dolls for a day at most before they were returned to their human form.

The reason why they had been returned to the way they were and were no longer a lifeless doll?

It was because of Ash Ketchum, an interesting boy that was many years her junior - maybe around a decade. He was able to do something that many others before had failed to do for many years, and that was to make her laugh.

Sure, it was technically a Haunter that caused her to laugh from the sheer mischief that it caused when she was in battle, however, it still brought some form of human emotion back to her actual self, and that caused the doll that she created to represent her childish self to vanish. It was no longer needed as that doll was the embodiment of the human emotions that she locked away in order to master her powers.

She was glad for the fact, as she was able to know that positive and happy emotions were also linked to her powers, and that made them more stable and less dangerous to those around her.

However, that wasn't the only thing that made her odd and unique to many others. It was the fact that she could 'see' into the future, in forms of small snippets of dreams or visions, and one vision left her stumped for the longest of times and even left her speechless and without answer, even when she was still 'split' into two different personalities and beings.

The visions and dreams that she had on many different occassions, always had the exact same person show up, and that was a rather exotic looking blonde that had hair as bright as the sun, along with blue eyes that one could get lost in if they weren't careful, and to top it all off, there were also interesting marks on his cheeks, and those marks made him look rather wild and almost... canine or feline like.

The visions and dreams often came to her displayed many different things.

Sometimes they had him by himself, standing on a cliffside and just gazing out into the horizon.

At times they often had him doing various things with what she presumed to be his Pokemon, a Gardevoir, and that meant that he possibly had a connection to Psychic type Pokemon much like herself, or he had a form of psychic power himself, much like her.

On the very rare occassion, she caught 'glimpses' of him with other girls, who were hazy at best to her, yet, she could feel the emotions that they had to each other, and that was love. If she concentrated hard enough, she could feel that they were on the same level, not only emotionally, but spiritually, and that was something that was extremely rare in on itself, unless it was fate that brought them together as soulmates. That also went the same for the Gardevoir that he had.

It was odd to her, whenever she had these visions or dreams, she would never be able to communicate with the mysterious man who looked to be four or five years her junior, but she was able to listen to him talk, either to himself or to the others around him.

That was how she was finally able to get the name of the man that had been in her dreams and visions constantly, and that name was Naruto.

With the name basically burnt into her mind, whenever she thought about that teen, her heartrate would quicken, she would feel heat rise to her cheeks, and most of all, she could feel something tugging in her gut, almost like it was some sort of instinct to find this man.

That was when she realised that he was her 'Destined One', her 'Soulmate' if you would, the one that she would be able to spend the rest of her life with. She was a rather... open person, since she had been rather disconnected to society when she closed herself off, and her parents feared her, she didn't really care about what society thought about her or her actions.

If her destined one was destined to be with other women - while rare, it wasn't impossible for it to happen - then she would be willing to share the man she was destined for, however, she would try her damndest to become his top girl, be the most important one within the group he was bonded to.

She would be the top 'bitch' of the coven, or 'order' would most likely be the better word to describe it.

Shaking her head from those memories that had entered her mind, she continued on her path towards the western side of the city, where the path connected from Saffron City to Celadon City.

A few nights ago, she had been hit with yet another vision, and it made her emotions rather... chaotic. She sensed that her destined one was in a great deal of emotional pain, and seemed to be lost, not in a literal sense with where he was going, but his heart and emotions were losing their way. In a way, he was almost becoming like herself when she locked away her emotions.

So, after doing some research when it came to someones 'Destined One' which was hard considering there was such little in knowledge when it came to that sort of thing. When she got the information or more insight into what was happening, she had started meditating, trying to connect her mind with her 'Destined One' it was challening of course, considering that she never done it, and she was never a patient woman to begin with.

However, once she got the smallest of connections, she had sent her emotions across a mental link, and that was acting like a beacon, which in turn, made his body follow the call that she had left on his body, meaning that she had 'convinced' his body to arrive to Saffron City, even if his active mind didn't know why he was following the path.

She was going to meet her 'Destined One' and she was going to try and help him overcome his pain. Although it had seemed to have been lessened to a degree, it still didn't hurt to completely get rid of it.

If someone caused her 'Destined One' to be like this, then she would gladly try and track the person down using her powers as a Gym Leader and bring the person to justice. Even if on the off chance that it was someone else that had been fated to be with him, she still would punish the person.

That was if her body wasn't already doing it.

She had learnt that if a person who was connected to another in this sort of way hurt the person they were 'connected' and bonded to, then her mind would be punishing the body and thoughts of the person.

It was why fights and betrayals between soulmates were so rare, because the reprecussions could possibly be deadly, or could lead to some serious changes, either in personality or the way that they thought and acted.

Sometimes, it could be for the better, but more often then not, it was for the worst, and it could often lead to deaths via 'Heartbreak' it was a real thing as well, people had simply died in there sleep from seemingly nothing, yet it was from a broken heart.

Shaking her head once again from those thoughts, she kept her gaze straight ahead, looking for any signs of movement or any telltale signs of hair as bright as the sun that was shining overhead. She could feel that her 'Destined One' was close, but since they hadn't properly met or even communicated, she couldn't know the precise location of where he was.

'I wonder...' She thought to herself, keeping herself occupied by looking at the nearby lake, in which she was looking at her reflection. She was looking over her body, looking at herself in that sort of way for the first time, and in a rare moment, she was actually nervous about rather self-conscious about her body.

Staring back at her through the waters reflection was a slim young woman of medium height. Her long black hair had tints of green around the tips of some of the strands of her hair with shorter layers around her face and a fringe and purple eyes that were cold and calculating. Wearing a red and black dress with elbow-length black sleeves, along with her dress having a stylised 'X' around the midriff area, underneath her dress were a pair of black leggings which hugged her thighs and legs and soon disappeared under her clothing, adorned on her arms were a pair of white gloves and to top it all off, she had a pair of green knee high boots.

While she never really cared for her body or how she looked like when she was wearing clothes or even tinted her hair with a rather deep green color, however, now that she could feel her 'Destined One' nearby, she wondered if he would like her look. If he didn't well, she would get the answer for him to know what he didn't like in a way - and she would ask the question in a rather subtle fashion - and then she would change accordingly.

Another thing that she didn't like about her body was in fact her breasts. She was twenty one years old, yet her breasts still remained a high B-cup when some of her challengers who were nearly a decade younger than her had the exact same breast size. It somewhat infuriated her as she found at that sometimes a womans pride and joy were her breast size, and she found out that it was nearly the same thing when it came to the male penis size.

Insult their breast size, and that was something that made them equally upset and annoyed, as it hit them right in their pride and ego, thus it caused some odd reactions sometimes.

However, when it came to her, while it did infuriate her, she just chalked it up to the girls having a more... balanced diet with having the correct ingredients thrown in... either that or the girls won the genetic lottery when it came to their mothers side of the family.

Her mother was only a C-cup herself, however, she had an odd feeling that when she shut herself off and had two 'separate' selves really hurt her chances for having larger breasts. That is until she opts for having surgery or got pregnant somehow.

That would be for a later time, with her 'Destined One' of course.

Looking back at herself, she brushed a strand of hair out of her face and behind her ear, where she continued to gaze into the water and have the reflection look back at her, however, as she looked out of the corner of her eye, she saw something different reflect in the water, and when she focused on it, she noticed a mop of blonde hair and tanned flesh walk by her with a Gardevoir that was looking at her with curiosity.

She also felt her body heat up slightly and her heart started pounding against her chest like it was a beating drum.

That was her 'Destined One' walking by, and she wouldn't let him escape just yet.

Taking a deep breath, she prepared herself for not only starting a conversation, but to prepare herself and calm her body down when in the presence of her 'Destined One', "Hello, Naruto." She spoke out, looking in the reflection as the blonde haired teen stopped and looked at her, curiosity and suspicion burning in his blue eyes.

Turning around on her heel, she made sure to look as non-threatening as possible, "I have been waiting for you." She spoke out, turning to face him for the first time and looking into his blue eyes for the first time.

It did make her knees feel weak. Something that she would look into when she had the chance.

Naruto was simply enjoying his time walking down the path towards Saffron City. It just so happened that he was enjoying the small sights of nature that the place had to offer before it got into the man-made structure that was the city where he had doubts that flowers and trees would be located inside, unless there was a nursery shop.

It was one of the reasons why Naruto wasn't a big fan of large cities, both in Hoenn and Kanto, as they removed some nature in return for building man-made things, and those will continue to expand with the influx of people living in the area and would eventually kill even more nature when the time came to build more houses, shops and Arceus knows what when it came to satisfying the needs of the people.

It was one of the reasons why Celadon City was one of his favorite cities by far that he had the pleasure to be in, with it coming in at a close second to Fortree City back in the Hoenn region.

They actually included nature in with the cities and people and Pokemon lived in harmony. They didn't needlessly destroy nature, instead, they worked with it and around it to create their cities.

As he continued walking down the path, he felt the odd feeling appear in his chest once more, except this time it was starting to drum against his chest like it was trying to escape. Whatever it was, it was causing him mild discomfort, and he hoped that it will finish once again when he made it into the city, although, for some odd reason, the pull that he was feeling wasn't coming from the city anymore.

It felt like it was coming from around him.

"Hello, Naruto."

Stopping in his tracks when he heard someone merely talking to him, the tone of voice was rather blank, but he could definately tell it was a woman who spoke his name. Turning to face the woman who called his name - however he was a little suspicious on how she knew of his name in the first place - and he was met with a girl who was by the river bed, looking into the water before she too, turned around and faced him.

As Naruto glanced at her, he couldn't help but marvel at her beauty, she also had this air about her that made her mysterious as much as it made her seem like she was much more than she let on, and her knowing his name along with the subtle air of power she was letting off made it known.

"I have been waiting for you." She spoke out once more, her eyes never leaving his form, however, he saw a hint of a smile appear on her face, but it disappeared just as quickly.

Flicking his gaze to Yuki, he noticed that she wasn't preparing for any sudden attack, nor was she looking at the woman in front of her like she was looking at something disgusting or not worth her time. From what he remembered about their species and some previous encounters with some more... shadier people, was that Gardevoir seemed to be protective and rather vicious to those that harbored any ill-intent towards their trainers or the ones they had bonded to, and since Yuki wasn't doing either of those things, it must mean that this woman in front of him wasn't going to hurt him in any way of the word.

"What do you mean? How did you know my name?" Naruto questioned, bringing his gaze back to the woman. He still felt the beating in his chest become a little more forceful now that he had made eye contact with this woman.

His eyes widened. Sure, there was no way that he had a 'spark' with this woman also.

"I see you have figured it out, yes, I was the one calling you here." The woman said with a slight smile to her face as she took a couple of steps closer towards Naruto.

"What do you mean you've been calling me here?" He questioned, a little on edge with the sudden information.

Shaking her head, she placed a hand on her hip, "I've been having dreams and visions about you. Sometimes in those you were by yourself, sometimes with your Gardevoir, and sometimes you were with other women, all of you sharing the same connection." She stated, finally coming up to Naruto, revealing that she was a little shorter than himself, maybe standing around 5'6 in height, "I sensed you were in emotional pain and turmoil, and you were feeling lost. So I called you here through the smallest of bonds that we have that would bring you to me." She pointed out, a small look on her face as she mentioned that he was in emotional pain.

Sighing to himself, he wondered why he was feeling a pulling sensation, and oddly enough, it had started a little after he was shown the fact that Jessie was part of an evil organisation and he felt betrayed because of that fact, "Right. I guess I can thank you for that." He muttered out, before looking at her once more, "May I know who I am speaking with?" He questioned, feeling a little odd since she knew his name, but he didn't know her name.

"My name is Sabrina, the Gym Leader of Saffron City, and fellow psychic." She introduced herself, a small smile on her face as she put her hand out for a handshake.

Seeing the gesture, he returned it, wanting to feel at least somewhat respectful, "Naruto Uzumaki, but you probably already knew that, trainer from the Hoenn region." He introduced himself, before he glanced at Gardevoir, "This is Yuki, my very first Pokemon and my partner."

Seeing as how she was introduced, Gardevoir simply gave a small trill of her name and bowed her head lightly. It wasn't a deep bow, but it was something from the Pokemon.

Removing her hand from the handshake, Sabrina couldn't help but blink in surprise, "From the Hoenn region?" She asked, mostly to herself than to him, "What are you doing in Kanto?" She questioned.

Shrugging his shoulders, "I'm enjoying my time. I'm not taking on the Gyms as I already did that in Hoenn region, so think of this as a... vacation of sorts." He said, it was true, this was his little vacation that he had saved enough money for, and so far, it was like another adventure... only it was a little more chaotic than his journey in the Hoenn region.

"I see." She nodded her head at that, she understood that people needed their breaks sometimes. It was fortunate enough that she was able to get her father to fill in for her when she needed a break. She was just thankful that her family were on talking terms once more. The tension was still there, but it was gradually depleting, "Do you want to settle down here for a while? Or do you want to settle in the city?" She questioned, not minding what the question was, "I can answer some questions you may have, especially concerning the fact you seemed surprise with what I said about the other women earlier."

Mulling it over in his head for a bit, he knew that it was odd to have someone you only just met offer to stay with you for a while, but he was feeling the bond starting to solidify when it came to Sabrina. Turning to Yuki, it was then she turned to him and shrugged her shoulders, sending him a brief flash of her emotions to him through the link.

She didn't mind what he wanted, she would follow him and agree with him no matter what he chose.

"Maybe in the city. I am feeling a little tired and it might be nice to rest on a soft bed rather than the hard ground again." He said, before he turned around and waited for Sabrina to follow him, or walk with him side-by-side.

Nodding her head at that, she allowed a slight smile to appear on her face as she started to walk in stride with Naruto, with them making some small talk as they made their way towards the city.

She also was glad that her gym had a spare room in case of someone visiting over. She had doubts that most of the populous of the city had forgiven her for what she had done in the past, so the less people that saw her out and about for now, the better.

END CHAPTER

Alright guys, I hope you enjoyed this chapter. Like I said, sorry for the information dump, but I felt like it was needed and explained some of Sabrina's backstory and why she is doing what she is doing, along with explaining her personality somewhat.

Forgive me for any typos or spelling mistakes, they do slip by sometimes, and I am sorry for that.

Anyway, next chapter would most likely be of Jessie... maybe even the other female Team Rocket members who are in the Harem. Since I haven't written that far ahead for this story, you can decide on some of the things either in Review or through PM's. I am always open to talk with people if you need it.

Don't forget to Review, Follow and Favorite, it means a lot to me, and you might find some other stories that you liked and would have never given another chance otherwise. Also, don't forget to check out Naruto - Galar's Spiral, which was one of the three challenges that I have recieved and is the first of the three that I have actually finished - not including the Naruto x Professor Ivy one.

Check out the latest chapter from my update book, as it contains some things that may or may not interest you, and you will have the option to decide on the Harem for Determined Knight.

Stay safe, and stay healthy.
