The sun had long gone down; the party attendees had turned in for the night, leaving the ten to let the night sink in while sitting around the reception table, filled with laughter and smiles. The day that had occurred was definitely a day that on a long list of expectations they all had for the wedding of Sophie and Sky, this was nowhere near even considered.

Table Seating: Harry- Sam-Donna-Tanya- Ali

Bill- Rosie - Lisa - Sophie -Sky

"So, you two, what are you plans for tomorrow?" Donna asked Sophie and Sky, which caused everyone to stop their conversations and listen.

"Well, we were talking to Ali and Lisa, and since they're flying back in 2 days, we'll meet up with them, then see some of Sky's old friends, and we are still deciding after that." Sophie answered honestly, causing some hesitation to run through the adults.

"Are you sure you're ready to go if don't have a plan yet?" Donna wasn't able to hide the worrisome in her voice as the question came out.

"Mom, we're probably spending a week or so in England, we have ideas of where we're going, we just have to put them in order." Sophie said with a softness to try to calm her mother's nerves.

"Donna, Tanya and I are flying back in a week so if they are still there, we will give you updates when we see them. Alright?" Rosie announced, slightly amused by her friend's concern.

Donna conceded and looked at Sam who only nodded with a slight smile. Sophie smiled watching her mum and new step-father, then felt Sky put his arm around her shoulders, causing her attention to shift to her love.

Sky smiled down at her and pulled her towards him. She rested her head on his chest with a sigh of content. She looked up, resting her chin on his chest and looked into his dark brown eyes with a smile. He leaned down and captured her lips with his. He pulled away after a minute.

Tanya eyed Sophie and Sky and shared a glance with Ali, both with a knowing smirk. They looked back to the young couple as they whispered softly to each other with smiles, sharing quick kisses throughout sentences. Sky's eyes moved up to Sophie's room which was in the building next to where the courtyard was, and Sophie nodded slightly. Lisa raised her eyebrows and looked to Tanya, who had a similar look but with her drink hiding her smile.

Sky stood up and cleared his throat slightly, "Well, we're going to turn in for the night. We need to start packing and a lot of traveling tomorrow." He grabbed Sophie's hand and helped her to her feet.

"Really? Just for packing?" Tanya teased.

"Tanya." Donna scolded. Tanya laughed slightly and saw the uncomfortable faces of the young couple.

"We'll see you in the morning before we leave then." Sky said quickly. He started to walk away, pulling Sophie with her by the hand and quickly pulled her closer when they got a few feet away. His arm wrapped around her middle as they walked back to Sophie's room.

"On that note, we're going to call it a night as well." Donna announced as she stood up.

"Like mother, like daughter." Tanya joked, looking at Rosie.

"We actually do need to pack so we should go do that." Ali said, looking at Lisa who was nodding in agreement.

Ali and Lisa walked towards their room, which just happened to be in the building next to where Sophie's room was. As they walked back, the exhaustion started to hit from the exciting day.

Sky smiled and picked Sophie up by her thighs, causing her to wrap her legs around his waist as so he opened the door. Sophie gazed into his eyes and kissed him with passion.

The walk back seemed longer than normal when all you want is to sleep, is all that Lisa and Ali could think. While it wasn't a long walk, watching all the buildings they walked past, all the same colour, same style, made it seem longer than it actually was. The only thing that was able to give them some amusement, was when they looked towards the source of a laugh, which just happened to be coming from Sophie's room. They saw the back of Sky and Sophie's legs wrapped around his waist, kissing, before the door closed with a slam. Ali and Lisa looked at each other then laughed and continued walking.

THE NEXT DAY

"All set?" Sam asked as Sky put the last of the bags in the boat. A week ago, he certainly never thought he would be standing on a dock on an island he hadn't been to in 21 years, saying goodbye to a young woman who may be his daughter with 2 other men who could also be theirs.

"Yea, thanks." Sky responded as he stepped out of the boat. He looked at the 3 men for a moment then to Sophie, who was walking over to them with a smile with her mother. "Ready whenever you are." He told her and glanced at Donna who was next to Sam.

Sam, Bill, and Harry took their turns saying goodbye to Sophie then Sky, then walked towards the beach slowly so Donna could say goodbye to the couple.

After reminding Donna that he had gotten the "take care of my daughter" speech for the umpteenth time, he gave her a hug and kiss on the cheek then got in the boat leaving Sophie and Donna a moment together.

As Donna finished saying goodbye to her daughter, she watched as Sky helped Sophie in the boat and then sail away from the dock. Same walked up behind her and wrapped his arms around her.

"She'll be back before you know it." Sam told her softly and quietly, causing Donna to sigh and nestle into his comforting hold.

"I know, but that doesn't make it any easier." Donna reminded him. She could feel him nod behind her.

They slowly walked back to Bill and Harry then they all made their way to the jeep, with each of them stealing glances towards Sophie and Sky's boat as they left the island. The ride back to the hotel was quiet.

5 DAY LATER

"Sky, it'll be fine." Sophie reassured for what seemed like the hundredth time. They stood outside, on the doorstep, of his childhood home for the past 10 minutes. Sky stared at the number 32 on the door.

"Okay," He took a deep breathe, "let's go." He knocked. A faint, "it's open" was called back. He slowly let his hand grab the familiar handle and pushed it open.

Of all the things he was expecting, a party in motion was definitely not one of them. As he looked around the room, he saw all his family, from parents, to siblings, to aunts and uncles, to cousins, to grandparents, and even some unfamiliar faces.

"Skylar?" A voice from the living room asked, causing everyone to look in their direction. Sky was focused on the voice while Sophie looked at everyone staring at them.

"Hi mum." Sky said with hesitation.

Everyone in the room stood still as the mother and son stared at each other with unreadable faces.
