Magic in the Dark Chapter One

I have been reading some YuGiOh crossover stories and found that can be considered interesting to make. Won't really have any characters from the YuGiOh series. But will have characters from Harry Potter.

This story skips a bit due to the nature of the story, later Chapters will be shorter but also have a single duel in it with some story sprinkled in. This chapter though will before from start of first year but with older starting years for content that I want to add.

Rated M for future mature themes (SMUT) in later chapters which will be explained later in this chapter. Also characters are made older to saves time.

:-Story Start-:

Surrey-England-three years before the start of the books.

Two eleven year old boys were sitting across from each other and were playing a children's card game. They sit at a public table were they played with separate decks was a strange wrist device that can hold a deck. This is a duel disk, a portable holographic generator that is used to duel others with a standard deck with a section in the back to hold extra cards used for the Extra Deck.

The larger of the two boys was wearing the newest clothes and slightly puggy. The card on his side of the field were machine themed cards with an 'XYZ Dragon Cannon' card in the middle of his field with two face downs in the spell card zone. This is Dudley Dursley.

The other was younger by almost a year, wearing old baggy clothes that would fit the one in front of him, glasses and the most noticeable feature is the lightning bolt scare on his forehead. On his side of the field is a sideways 'Mistical Elf' in defence. This is Harry Potter cousin of Dudley cousin, and it was his turn.

He goes through the cards in his hand and frowns and says, "I play the spell card 'Ancient Rules'," he pauses in thought before playing, "and summon 'Stone Dragon' in defence mode. And end my turn."

Dudley looks at his cousin with a frown before Dudley sighs and says, "I play the spell card 'Reverse GEAR' all your monsters are switched to attack mode and I attack your 'Mystical Elf' and I win," Harry nods in understanding before Dudley suddenly took Harry's hand and says, "Harry I am meant to be practicing for the summer youth tournament. I may have some of the best Cards. Dad can get me some of the best cards in the world. But frankly I need to practice." Harry nods silently with guilt. Dudley sighs and says, "Look let's play again and this time don't hold back," he paused before saying, "Look, one more game. You win you can keep the deck," Harry looked at Dudley in surprise before becoming determined when Dudley says, "I will also add a bunch more cards for you to customise the deck."

What happened next was a surprise as Harry won the duel within three moves surprising Dudley as Harry simply used a combination of two high defence monster combined with a 'Mind Control' to control Dudley's strongest and only monster at the time to defeat Dudley. Dudley kept his promise before calling for a rematch with an offer of few cards to add to Harry's deck.

With all this practice the result of the tournament was that Dudley won with barely any effort, and all it took was for him to duel Harry a hundred times per week, with a month before the tournament and he won the Grand Prise Card. That a week later Dudley gave to Harry as a thank you. This relationship between the two became something that would support each other into the future, which would become an amazing team.

Three years later-Surrey-Beginning of July-mid morning

A fifteen year old Harry was walking to the front door of the small house past the stairs from the kitchen and collecting the morning mail. Harry rubbed his shoulder in pain after being punished for talking with Dudley when he was organising his cards for the local tournament. His first tournament in the Teen Class even though he was allowed to enter the year before, he decided to wait a year after Harry suggested so that he could build a deck that he put his soul into. With all the duels they fought, Harry had won ninety percent of them, which compared with everyone one of his duels against others, that was saying something as Dudley's win/loss rate was one of the highest in England and the winner of this tournament would be eligible for Teen National Tournament before playing the Teen Europe tournament followed by the Teen Global tournament.

Dudley had spoken with Harry while his parents were out, before they suddenly came home early and Dudley's father, Vernon Dursley, got angry beat Harry with his belt. Only stopping when Dudley said, "Dad I need a practice Dummy for the tournament so don't kill him," Harry looked at Dudley who looked back with, 'Just go with it.'

Vernon growls and says, "He better not win or I will do more than beat him," with that even if Harry won a duel, Dudley and Harry agreed to say that it was Dudley's win.

Back to the present, Harry looked through the letters that arrived and found a letter addressed to him, in the closet under the stairs. A letter that was a surprise to Harry as he never got mail. Harry took the mail to the kitchen and took his letter away from the kitchen as he opened his letter, Dudley saw and figured he would wait before mentioning the letter to see Harry's eyes to widen and he asks, "Who sent you a letter Harry?"

Vernon and his Wife, Petunia Dursley looked at Harry in shock as Harry answered, "Apparently I have been accepted into Hogwarts, School of witchcraft and wizardry," Petunia dropped the plate in her hands before Harry says, "Is this some kind of joke?" looking to his guardians as he says, "The only people who know I sleep under the stairs is in this room."

Petunia frowns before saying, "That is what it is dribble. Now go outside and start weeding the yard and mow the lawn," she then grabbed a set of scissors and says, "Use these so that the lawn is even," Petunia took the letter before handing it to Dudley and says, "Take this to the trashcan in the park and rip it apart," the look in her eyes were one of panic.

Dudley accepting the letter before leaving the house and when a block away he starts reading and his eyes widened before he heads right back and sees the OWL waiting on a power line. He sneaks behind the houses and gets to his house and says, "Harry, I think this is legit."

Harry frowns from his knees and asks, "Why?"

"Harry, Mom had a look of shock when she told me to rip apart where he couldn't stop me," Dudley's tone and look was one of concern. "There is an owl out front waiting for you to reply Harry." Harry reads the letter and understands what Dudley means. Dudley then says, "I think you should do it, I mean from what Mom and Dad spoke about the name of the headmaster, which is mentioned in the letter. So maybe it will get you away from Dad."

Harry paused in his gardening and says, "Will you be okay with me being gone?"

Dudley shrugs before saying, "Harry, we are family even if my parents don't want to be."

Harry nods as Dudley returned to the front of the house before coming out the back with two cans of Cola and some paper and a pen stashed under his shirt that he gave to Harry and Harry proceeded write a reply that he would later send back to Hogwarts with a request of assistance in getting supplies. A task that was made easy when Dudley drank all of the milk and convinced his mom to send Harry to get milk, which Harry used to speak with the Owl that took his response.

Saturday-July 31st-Surrey-Number 4 Privote Drive-Mid day

Harry was cleaning the house while Vernon ate lunch with Dudley and Petunia. Petunia looks to Dudley and says, "You need your strength Dudley, The tournament starts in two days, you don't want to be hungry during your victory."

Dudley did not eat much, considering that he had started learning to box when he wasn't duelling. Dudley told his mom, "I know but I don't want to over eat only to get sick during my duels." He never liked duelling with a full stomach, or empty so a couple sand wedges between duels was better for his Dueling style.

Harry returned to the Kitchen to see the sink filled with dishes and pulled his sleeves up so he could start washing them. Harry looked over his shoulder at Dudley and decides to ask, "So Dudley, what deck will you be using for the Tournament?"

Vernon glared at Harry while Dudley smiles lightly and says, "I was thinking of switching decks between duels. There is no rule against it, so I was going to switch between my Ancient Gear Deck and my Cyber deck," Harry nods before Dudley continued and says, "But I might throw everyone for a loop by switching out my deck with my Dragon deck."

Harry smirks as he knew what his Dragon deck was, a deck built to grow with power while reducing his enemy's life points to zero. There was a loud knock on the door and Harry dried his hands before walking over to the front door and proceeded to open the door to see an old woman with a pointy hat and dark emerald green dress. The woman looks to Harry and says, "Mister Potter may I come in, I wish to speak with your Guardians."

Harry let the woman in to the kitchen. When Vernon saw the woman he stood up and growls out, "Get out or I will call the police!"

The woman spoke, "I am Professor McGonagall, I teach Transfiguration at Hogwarts and I am the Teaching head of Gryphondore house." McGonagall glares at Vernon and says, "I am here to help Harry with his development of his magic in a safe place away from him accidently blowing someone up."

That got Vernon and Petunia to freeze in shock before Dudley asks, "So magic and monster are real?" McGonagall nods before Dudley asks, "if Harry didn't go to Hogwarts what could happen?"

"He could accidently kill someone with accidental magic. Hogwarts will teach him to learn to use magic properly and not will give him control that will stop him from killing one of you." McGonagall states shocking Vernon and Petunia before McGonagall speaks once again once they recover, "Harry will be spending ten months a year attending Hogwarts, and he will only be able to come back during summer or during the Christmas break. Now I need to take Harry with me to meet with one of the other students that will be attending Hogwarts this year and I need to meet with her and her parents," she stands before saying, "I will return Harry by nightfall. On the day of departure I will return to take him to the station to catch a train to Hogwarts. Good day," McGonagall started walking to the door with Harry when she paused and says, "I wish you well in the Tournament in a few days."

Dudley suddenly stands and says, "Wait," he ran past the two before heading to his room and returned with Harry's deck and says, "You will need this. You never know." Harry nods in thanks while McGonagall looked at the deck with familiarity as the two leave quickly.

Once outside Harry asks, "So where are we going?"

"We will be taking a Muggle public train to reach the Granger Residence before taking a bus to get to The Leaky Cauldron," the two walked to the train station to see it almost completely empty. McGonagall asks, "May I see your deck while we wait for the train?" Harry frowns before hesitantly handing his deck over slowly. McGonagall accepted the deck and says, "An interesting deck, Elemental Heroes and Spellcasters. Not a very common choice why is that?"

Harry frowns as he accepts his deck and after a quick check he nods and accepts that nothing was taken before answering, "Dudley wanted to practice his duelling and we bonded with that. I just had some of his weaker cards at first before he added some cards but I always lost so he wouldn't get angry with me," he appeared thoughtful before he says, "When I did win, he continued wanting rematches, it was a lot of fun."

McGonagall frowns before saying, "I should inform you that the magic version will be a bit different," she starts to explain as they enter the train when it arrives, "Wizards follow the same rules as the Muggle's version, but at the beginning of the duel the ones participating agree to an award the looser has to give to the winner. There is no limit to what you can win or lose. So be wary of who you duel young man."

Harry nods as they continue to ride the train as Harry pulls out the letter from Hogwarts and begins to read the list of items and asks, "So dragons are real?" McGonagall nods while Harry continues, "If I am a Wizard why was I living with the Dursleys'?"

McGonagall frowns before asking, "What did they tell you about your parents?"

Harry frowns before saying, "They said that they died in a car accident."

McGonagall growled in anger before saying, "That is not true. Fourteen years ago, your parents went into hiding when they defeated You-Know-Who's forces years ago. They were betrayed and were killed by the Dark Lord of the time. You became famous that night, somehow you survived an un-block-able spell that should have killed you that day. So do not be surprised if people apparently know more about you then you."

Harry frowns at that before he asks, "What did they do to this Dark Lord?"

McGonagall smiles and says, "They saved the lives of many Muggles and Magicals. The Dark Lord had sending his forces across England and proceeded to try and kill at mass. Your Father's methods were to terrorise them and focus on attacking where the Death Eaters hid themselves. Your Mother made several improvements to all the wards and ensuring the Magic was hidden during the war."

Harry nods before asking, "How will I be paying for all of these supplies. I mean do Wizards accept pounds? And even if they do, I don't have any money to pay for this."

McGonagall nods before saying, "I have already seen to that, I received the key to your vault at Gringotts. Though I will need to visit the Hogwarts Trust Vault for your fellow student we are meeting with," McGonagall states while Harry continued to read his letter.

An hour later-Outskirts of London-Suburbs.

Harry walked with Professor McGonagall where Harry noticed that people were completely ignoring her strangeness. Harry shrugged at this as he figured that it was magic. McGonagall looked at a piece of paper while raising her glasses and proceeded to spot the place they were heading too. McGonagall walked up to the door and proceeded to knock on the door and waited for a Muggle woman to answer the door.

McGonagall spoke, "Misses Granger?" the woman nods before McGonagall spoke, "I am Professor McGonagall, a teacher at Hogwarts. I wish to discuss the education of Hermione Granger."

Miss Granger nods and lets the two in. Miss Granger simply asks, "So all of the strange things that Hermione has done is magic. We were always concerned with her abilities thinking that she was in danger of hurting herself when she was younger pulling books from her shelf to read when she was meant to be sleeping."

McGonagall nods before she says, "Understandable, but it is the opposite. If she consciously restrained her abilities could have been very dangerous." That was when they reached a sitting area and the three took some seats. McGonagall spoke, "As your daughter is the first witch in your family, her Hogwarts tuition is already paid for, but you will need to understand that her books and equipment will need you to convert funds into wizarding money. Using Galleons is a confusing but it will always remain constant. So a hundred pounds should be enough to purchase equipment but anything else you will need to convert more money." Miss Granger nods before McGonagall added, "Where is Miss Granger?"

Misses Granger simply says, "Both her and her father went to the store, apparently she recently gained a Duel Monster's deck and felt that she needed to get some more cards."

That was when the front door opened revealing the a man and a fifteen year old bushy haired girl looking through the cards that she had collected that day. The girl was Reading all the card abilities and proceeded sit on Harry and continues to read. Harry spoke up, "Hello, I never been confused with a chair before."

The girl's eyes widened as she suddenly stands up and shouts, "WHO ARE YOU!"

Harry simply says, "A fellow student to Hogwarts. You are Hermione right?"

Hermione blushes and says, "Sorry, I am easily distracted."

Harry nods before saying, "Same, though I don't sit on people so," Harry sarcastically jokes as Hermione blushes lightly before Harry continues, "So you recently got into Duel Monsters?"

Hermione nods before saying, "I got a card from my grandmother and felt that I needed to be ready for something, but then I got my Hogwarts Letter and," she paused and says, "I just want to be ready for something and Duel Monsters felt related."

Harry nods before asking, "Have you ever duelled before," Hermione shakes her head in the negative.

Before Harry could continue McGonagall spoke, "I am afraid that we should discuss your future before Mister Potter can teach you to duel as it were, something that will be important in the future." Mcgonagall proceeded to explain Hogwarts and the world of magic, before offering to show them how to get to a place known as Diagon Alley, though they used public transport to get to London.

In a hidden Mansion-That moment-Dark study

A blonde man wearing a fancy suit and holding a can with a snake head styled handle was staring at a fifteen year old boy with short blonde hair wearing a similar clothes. The man spoke, "Draco, you are going to Hogwarts this year," he places a deck of Duel Monster Cards and a golden with green (Think the GX duel Disks recoloured.) inlay before saying, "I have bought the best cards, you will conquer the students of Hogwarts for 'our' ambitions." The word 'our' was almost not said as greed was seen in his eyes.

Draco looked at the older blonde with a frown before saying, "Of course father. I will show Hogwarts that the Malfoy name is unstoppable."

Draco Malfoy's father smirks and says, "Yes and with those cards you will be unstoppable."

Draco then says, "I will learn the game before leaving for Hogwarts," Draco left the room as he had never played the game before, nor would he look at his cards until he actually started duelling.

Leaky Cauldren/Entrance of Diagon Alley-London-An hour later.

McGonagall led the Granger Family and Harry Potter into a building that appeared to be just a wall on the side of a building only for the sigh to change into a Cauldren with a crack in the side leaking a red liquid. They enter the building where the bar tender spoke, "Professor McGonagall here for a brandy?"

McGonagall sighs and says, "No Tom, I am here to organise help for two new students. They needed to learn how to get to Diagon Alley and get funds for Hogwarts."

Everyone nods at that as McGonagall and every one proceeded to walk through the bar when one of the patrons see's Harry's scare and exclaims, "Your Harry Potter!" the result was that everyone started showing support to Harry along with Harry meeting one of his future teacher of Defence against the Dark arts.

Once they reached the back of the building Harry was frowning with confusion while Hermione had to ask, "Why did they all like Harry so much?"

McGonagall looked over her shoulder as she faced a brick wall and says, "You probably will learn soon enough anyway. Harry Potter is famous for destroying a Dark Lord fourteen years ago. A dark lord who wanted to kill Muggles and conquer the Muggle culture," she pulls out a wand and proceeded to tap several bricks that both Harry and Hermione focused on which bricks she tapped before the wall started folding into each other before revealing a walkway into a large alley filled with people dressed as Witches and Wizards shopping. McGonagall spoke, "Welcome to Diagon Alley, you may gawk as we walk to the bank."

The Grangers and Harry followed the elderly witch towards a strange white marble building that appears to be partially dilapidated in the middle before fixed at the top. As they walk they see some younger and older kids and teens staring at a broom. Harry raised an eyebrow while Hermione laughed silently at the thought of boys excited to see a cleaning tool. They continue walking along the street where Harry sees some teenagers wearing fancy duel disks in different colours with minor changes of symbols or shapes. Each duel disk had a deck inserted, what but what Harry was really looking at was ghostly spirits following them over their shoulders but was completely ignored. Harry stared at one such spirit that was a bird monster that stared right back before ignoring him. What Harry did not see was that Hermione also saw these creatures.

McGonagall spoke up, "I will show you where to get a Duel Harness, after we get funds for today."

Harry spoke up, "Um how much will the Duel Harness cost?"

"About twenty galleons, so about a hundred pounds," McGonagall states as they enter the bank to see a bunch of small humanoid creatures were the bankers. McGonagall speaks, "These are goblins, they are considered the most greedy creatures of magic. But they won't screw you over with money or family vaults."

Hermione frowns before asking, "How much is everything going to cost?"

McGonagall sighs and says, "A hundred Galleons I am afraid," McGonagall looks past everyone and says, "Hagrid you are late."

The Granger's and Harry looks behind him to see a giant of a man walking over before saying, "Sorry Proffessor, Had to take the Underground from Godric Hollow. Dumbledore wanted me to pick up some Devil's snare for the ah, secret thing. Sorry."

McGonagall sighs before saying, "Hagrid, keeper of keys and Grounds of Hogwarts. Not so much secrets," she looks pointedly at Hagrid before turning to Harry and says, "Hagrid will join you in visiting your trust vault and only that," towards the end of the sentence she looks to Hagrid before turning back to Harry and says, "If you are still wanting a Duel Harness ask for some extra galleons with the Goblin that you speak with."

With that Harry went with Hagrid to the main counter of the Bank while McGonagall walked over to the side to exchange cash while also discovering that the Goblins also had access to ATMs to receive Muggle money to exchange.

Harry walk over to an elderly goblin who asks for a key and after Hagrid revealed Harry's key that he handed to Harry along with a leather necklace harness as they were led into the vaults after Hagrid says that he needs to enter a secret vault for a secret reason. For the next ten minutes Harry was enjoying riding what appeared to be a mine cart converted into a magic car on rails and led him to a vault that was filled with ten thousand Galleons which Harry asks, "Could I get some extra Galleons then I need, enough to get a couple Duel Harness' and a couple extra books?"

The Goblin simply says, "Of course in the end all the Galleons will come back to the Goblins anyway, But remember you won't be able to access the Potter Vaults until you are seventeen. Your trust vault will increase by a hundred Galleons each month, but it is limited to ten thousand Galleons. Hence why there is not more. That being said," the Goblin walked over to the side and pulled out an envelope and money pouch before saying, "Your parents added these to it for when you open the vault. Now we need to get to the other vault come along."

With that done Harry used an expanding money pouch that held three hundred Galleons. They travelled by cart all the way to a deeper vault where they see a concealed vault door with large numbers over the top, 713. Hagrid went into the vault where he collects a single packaged item. Hagrid states that it was secret and not to mention it. They return to the lobby where they see McGonagall tapping her foot waiting for them. McGonagall simply ask, "Where have you been?" her question was directed to Hagrid before she says, "Come along Harry we are going to get your school supplies."

Hagrid spoke up, "Perhaps I can help you Professor," McGonagall nods letting Hagrid join them.

They proceeded to collect their equipment for school until they got to Olivanders where Hermione and Harry went in alone because McGonagall said that it would be safer for Mister and Misses Granger. Which turns out was for the best as Hermione accidently turned a book shelf into dust and caused all the wands to fall to the ground. She eventually got a wand that actually worked for her. Harry required three attempts, the first removing the wands from a shelf, then caused a vase to explode and when Harry found his wand he learnt that it was related to the one who gave him the scare on his forehead.

Hagrid returned to them by tapping on the glass and says, "Happy Birthday Harry!" while also revealing a white owl that was cleaning itself.

Hermione frowns before her eyes widen when she asks Harry, "Is your birthday today?" Harry nods simply before Hermione pulled out her deck of Duel Monsters searching through the cards and proceeded find a specific card and pulled it out and handed it to Harry, The card is 'Dark Magician Girl' while she says, "Happy Birthday Harry."

Harry accepted the card before saying, "Thank you Hermione, this will definitely strengthen my deck." Harry added the card to his deck after he pulled his deck out of his pocket. The two went out the store while Harry collected his books. They went outside and proceeded to collect the trunks to travel with their purchases. Eventually they had everything that they needed and McGonagall led them to the store that they could purchase a Duel Harness.

The store they reached was filled with Duel Harness with different designs on one side while the other was filled with cards. Harry looked at all the cards and only saw monsters and only ones with four or less stars. Harry and Hermione frowns as they look through the cards and Harry asks, "Where are all the stronger cards? Or the spells and traps?"

Hermione frowns and says, "Why do I get the feeling that not everyone can knows how to play?"

Harry frowns and says, "We should probably wait until after we duel someone," Hermione nods as the go over to the Duel Harness to see the tag on all the Duel Harnesses and Harry asks, "Did you have enough after getting your books?"

Hermione thinks and looks at her wallet and says, "I bought too many books," her honest answer saddened her before a looking at a specific duel disk, this one a nice orange with a lovely crimson.

Harry noticed before noticing a duel disk that was a deep purple. Harry then noticed a large tub. Harry grabbed the two Duel Disks before walking over to a large contain and notice that each card was worth a knut each. Harry looked to McGonagall and asks, "How many Galleons is a Knut?"

McGonagall simply says, "Twenty nine Knuts, is one sickle, and seventeen Sickles is one Galleon."

Harry did some poor maths in thought before Hermione says, "Four Hundred ninety three cards per Galleon," she pulls out a single card and says, "These are spells, traps and all the monsters over four stars."

With that said Harry and Hermione started collecting five hundred cards before returning seven cards that were all the token cards. Harry went over to the counter and placed forty one Galleons at the shop keeper that frowns before asking, "Are you sure that don't want some useable cards?"

Harry frowns before saying, "We want these cards, they are the only ones we saw that was worth the Galleon," Harry smirks knowing something that the man clearly not understanding the cards. The shop keeper went through all of the cards before saying, "Well there is no attempts at stealing enjoy you Dueling Harnesses and be wary of who you duel and may victory bring you wealth."

Harry handed Hermione her duel disk and proceeded to leave with their teacher who had to ask when they leave the duel store, "Why did you buy so many of the useless cards?"

Harry and Hermione smirks at a hidden secret before Harry says, "What makes you think they are useless?" McGonagall frowns as the group returns to the Leaky Cauldron and Harry asks, "Hermione? What kind of deck do you actually use?"

Hermione frowns before saying, "My deck has a bunch of everything, I haven't found a type I want for my deck. What about you?"

Harry paused before saying, "I combined spellcasters with Elemental heroes, but I don't have all the cards," once they took a seat at an empty table, Mister and Misses Granger was speaking with each other while Harry and Hermione went through the cards and Harry found some cards that he would add to his deck while the people looked at them only to see they were going through 'useless' cards. Harry then spoke, "Your Deck should be both cards you like and can strengthen your other cards."

Hermione nods when she noticed that Harry was placing all the machine based cards to the side and asks, "What are you doing with the machine cards?"

Harry spoke, "I am going to give them to my cousin," as he placed a copy of 'Ancient Gear Golem' Harry then states, "Dudley is a regional Duellist and he uses machine cards for each of his decks," he places a Gadget spell card before they had to put the cards away, in amongst his stuff while Hermione kept a few cards.

Hermione then asks over their food, "What are you going to do with the cards that you don't use?"

Harry frowns before saying, "If I understand what is happening with Duel Monsters then I have a feeling that these cards are going to be very valuable."

Hermione says, "I definitely will have to focus on learning the game properly."

Harry then says, "Then you are going to need to understand some things that Professor McGonagall informed me about duelling against wizards." They enjoyed their meal before Harry went over to Hagrid and whispered, "Look I suggest that you go back to the shop and purchase two Galleons worth of the bargain cards in the Duel Store. They are going to be worth the investment," McGonagall looked at him strangely before he says, "These cards," he pulls out a spell, a trap and a monster card with more than four stars and says, "Are useful, perhaps would be very profitable for the future." McGonagall looked surprise at the information before Harry says, "What do we do know?"

Harry's question was answered as McGonagall says, "Well you need to be at King's Cross station on September first at eleven o'clock and the entrance to the platform is between platforms nine and ten through the pillar three quarters from the centre of the station office," McGonagall then stands and says, "I will need to escort Mister Potter Home, I am sure that you all will be able to return home?"

Mister Granger nods before saying, "We should not have any issues." The Granger's said their goodbyes to Harry before McGonagall left with him while Hagrid said good bye to the Grangers before heading to the Duel Store and collect all of the remaining cards, spending four galleons to by almost two thousand cards before he returned to Hogwarts.

Number Four Privet Drive Surrey-Sunset

Harry pulled everything he received and McGonagall said goodbye outside the house and suddenly teleporting away with a loud crack of air. Harry stared at the empty space that McGonagall vanished from before Harry went to the door and stopped when he looked at the purple Duel Disk and asks himself, "How am I going to explain this?"

He knocked on the door and Dudley opened the door and says in relief before saying, "How was it?" he noticed the purple Duel Disk and asks, "Where did you get that?"

Harry looks at his Duel Disk and says, "Let's just say that Duel Monsters are really popular with wizards." Harry handed the machine cards he got that shocked Dudley when Harry says, "Aparently all the rarest cards and powerful monsters, spells and traps are all the monster cards that anyone can get."

Dudley led Harry into the sitting room before asking, "Seriously what are you saying I could get a crap ton of rare and powerful cards for very cheap?"

Harry revealed a single Galleon and says, "Five Hundred cards," Dudley's mouth dropped.

Dudley stands and asks, "Do you think you can take me there tomorrow?" Harry thought quickly before nodding. Dudley says, "Mom, Dad, Tomorrow Harry and I are going to the wizard place to buy rare cards that will make me unstoppable!"

Harry had to control himself when Vernon ran into the room and Harry explained what Dudley meant but when Dudley asks about the Duel Disk Harry spoke, "You don't want one of these, from what I understood all the duels between wizards are lethal." Vernon looked at Harry in shock before Harry adds, "So we can get the cards tomorrow and then come back here to fix up your deck," Dudley looked through the cards Harry gave him before he pulled his father to the side and convinced him not to stop them.

Harry yawns and walks over to the closet under the stairs ready to go to bed only to find it completely empty. Harry frowns before Vernon says, "We moved you into Dudley's second room, no idea why he wanted to do it."

Harry went over to Dudley's second bedroom and found it somewhat trashed still but the bed was dropped awkwardly. Harry sat down and placed a hand into his pocket and frowns when he pulls out the envelope. He opened the envelop and found five cards that shocked him but when he went to pull them out he felt something crawling up his finger. He removed his hand and found a strange eye shaped ring that he could not remove. Harry looked at the ring and sighs thinking it has to do with magic.

The Next day-Diagon Alley-Lunch Time

Harry and Dudley were carrying three thousand cards in a briefcase and proceeded out the store. They took half the remaining cards which was problematic as they did that an hour ago and the shop keeper had to sort through all the cards and even offered to sell some of his monsters on display but found nothing worth getting, with a hundred copies of 'Baby Dragon' except for a set of five cards that got Harry and Dudleys' interest so Harry spent fifteen galleons. They walked outside to see two wizards about to duel.

Harry stopped them so that they could watch. The first wizard played 'Beaver Warrior' in attack mode which cause both Harry and Dudley to frown. The second wizard played 'Giant Soldier of Stone' and attacked 'Beaver Warrior.' This was how the duel proceeded, the second wizard eventually played three more monsters with no spells or traps, while the first only play one monster at a time and lost the duel because all of his monsters where less than a thousand attack points while they had high defence. Eventually the Second wizard won without summoning anything that could have ended the duel instantly. In the end the winner received a small bag of Galleons.

Harry had to say one thing, "I get the feeling that I am going to destroy them," Dudley simply nods as they quickly walked back to the Leaky Cauldren and returned home and divided up the cards while the five special cards they had while Dudley took the Machine cards and the rest went with Harry.

The end result of the Teen Regional Tournament, Dudley came in first and moved on to the nationals. Harry won't learn to the result of the Europe Tournament until he returned after the year of Hogwarts.

September First-King Cross Station-Fifteen to Eleven.

Harry was pushing his trolley along platforms nine and ten. He walks calmly before seeing the pillar that he is meant to enter only he did not know what to do until a family all with orange hair went through the pillar by literally running through the pillar. Harry shakes his head and ran through when they all went through. He was suddenly on a new platform where he sees the red train that says, 'Hogwarts Express' along with a sign saying the name of the platform. All of the luggage was being placed on the train by designated train workers. Harry walked past a boy his age talking with an old woman wearing a green dress and a broken bird hat. Harry got on the train with his owl that he named Hedwig, where he went the found an empty cabin and placed everything where he can wait to leave the station.

The Train left at exactly eleven o'clock which Harry silently enjoyed. After an hour, there was a knock at the cabin door and Harry sees a Ginger haired boy from earlier at the pillar. The boy speaks, "Do you mind? Everywhere else is full." Harry gestured over to the seat infront of him. The boy takes a seat and says, "I am Ron, Ron Weasley."

"Harry," he paused and says, "Harry Potter," Ron's eyes widened before Harry says, "Look I am just a normal person or Wizard."

Ron eyes were filled with wonder as he asks, "Can I see your scare?"

Harry shrugs and says, "Sure," he revealed his lightning scare and says, "So I have a couple questions, do you know how to play Duel Monsters?"

Ron's eyes widened before he becomes squeamish and revealed his deck and says, "My Deck is not to good," Harry looked at the very old cards in Ron's deck and sighs as Ron says, "I know they are terrible," Harry looked at the three 'Baby Dragons' in his deck and notices a time wizard and looks at all of the monsters in the deck.

Harry looks at Ron and says, "Are all Wizard decks like this?" Ron nods before Harry opened the his trunk and pulled out some cards and selected some monsters, spells and Traps before saying, "I will teach you how to play properly," they started playing with Harry explaining what Ron needed to properly play Duel Monsters. Until the woman with the trolley of Wizarding Candies, Ron was disappointed as he pulled out some sand wedges before Harry bought a couple of everything. So they snacked and duelled with Harry explaining the actual rules of Duel Monsters. Eventually Harry was learning about the wizarding world about some of the candies. Harry opened a Chocolate Frog and found that it jumped onto the window before jumping off the train. Harry asks, "Why is the Chocolate Frogs actual Frogs?"

Ron says, "Just a spell, but it is the cards that you want. Every pack has a card with a great witch or wizard on it."

Harry looked at the car he got and found the name Albus Dumbledore. Harry placed the card in his trunk and proceeded to ask, "So do you know why wizards don't know anything about playing Duel Monsters?"

Ron simply says, "Well it was brought to the Wizarding world about twenty years ago, but no one really knew how to play. No one got a clear explanation on how?"

Harry nods before Hermione arrived wearing her Hogwarts School Uniform where Harry and Ron got stuck looking at her legs as the skirt only covered half way down her thighs. Hermione smiles as she sees Harry and says, "Hey Harry, Have you seen a toad? A boy named Neville has lost his." Harry shakes his head before Hermione says, "Are you two duelling?"

Harry shakes his head and says, "No, I am teaching him how to play properly," Hermione nods before asking, "Do you have a Duel Harness?"

Ron nods with a frown before saying, "It is one of the older models, my Brother Charlie gave it to me," Ron grabbed an old and cracked Duel Disk with runes attached. Ron says, "I don't think it will work properly."

Harry shrugged before saying, "Well that may be true," he then placed a spell card, 'Swords of Revealing light' and says, "This card stops you from attacking for three turns."

Ron's eyes widened before asking, "How does that work?"

"Spells and traps are a major point of Duel Monsters," Harry states before saying, "They are used to weaken or strengthen monsters on either side of the field."

Hermione nods before she suddenly speaks, "I think you two should get dressed we will be arriving soon," Hermione starts walking out the cabin before suddenly stoping and says, "You have dirt on your nose," she gestured to her face for him to clean.

Arrival at Hogwarts-just after sunset.

Harry and Ron was dressed in their Hogwarts robes and proceeded to get off the train, with the other first years. Harry carried his trunk off the train only to see that everyone else minus Hermione did not. Harry sees that several of the first years were wearing their Duel Disks with different colours so Harry and Hermione placed their Duel Disks on their wrists. Harry closed his trunk and pulled it towards Hagrid as he called for first years. When he sees Harry and Hermione he simply says, "Leave your trunk here Harry and Hermione, the elves will bring them to the castle for you," Harry and Hermione begrudgingly left their trunks at the platform. All the first years followed Hagrid to the docks near the platform and they were divided to four per boat, Hermione and another boy without a Duel Disk joined Harry and Ron on the boat. Ron remained silent as he noticed he forgot his Duel Disk and did his best to calm down. All the first years boats followed Hagrid's boat along a river before going under a rock arch that revealed a bright castle by the name of Hogwarts. They were shown the sight of Hogwarts for five minutes as they slowly floated to a boat house. Once there they spent five to ten minutes climbing stairs before Hagrid stopped leading them while telling them to walk up the stairs and turned left.

They followed Hagrid's directions that led them to Professor McGonagall who spoke, "Welcome to Hogwarts. Through the doors behind me you will be sorted into your houses. Ravenclaw, Hufflepuff, Gryphindore and Slytherin. Your house is your family, good deeds will give your house points any rule breaking will lose you points," she was interrupted when the boy who appeared to be Neville spotted his toad on the steps, when the toad suddenly landed in front of McGonagall. McGonagall simply says, "Please wait here, and do not try and start a duel until after the feast," McGonagall walked into the Great Hall.

Everyone was silent until Draco Malfoy spotted Harry and says, "So it is true, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts," the other first years started whispering. Harry frowns as Draco indicated to the two boys next to them, "This is Crabb and this is Goile," Draco walked in front of Harry and says, "I am Draco, Draco Malfoy," Ron sniggered and received an angry sneer from Draco before he says, "Don't need to ask what your name is. Hand me down clothes, red hair, you must be a Weasley?" Harry frowns as Draco turned back to Harry and says, "You want friends that are a part of your importance and I am the most important friend you can have," he offered Harry his hand to shake.

Harry did not accept the hand and says, "You realise that for all I know, you are just a no body with an ego. Plus you apparently insulting someone who is apparently well known. Do you really think that is a smart idea?"

Draco glared at Harry at the simple comment when Professor McGonagall returned and directed the first years into the Great Hall.

They entered the great hall before the sorting ceremony where a hat was placed on a stool before it began to sing. Eventually the sorting began:

Hermione Granger: Gryphindore

Ronald Weasley: Gryphindore

Draco Malfoy: Slytherin

Harry Potter: After an extended conversation: Grythindore.

Once the sorting was completed an old man at the centre of the table of teachers stood and speaks up, "Before the feast begins, I have some start of year announcements to make. First the Dark Forest is out of bounds for all students and Mister Filch," directing to an old man holding a cat nodded, "Has asked to remind you all that the third floor corridor is out of bounds for anyone who wants to avoid a most painful death." Harry frowns at that comment as Albus Dumbledore speaks up again, "All duels are limited to outside of school hours, so weekends and after classes for the day, but please remember that curfew is by nine at night. All other times will be explained by your head of house. Now the feast shall begin," with that final word all the food appeared on the tables. Harry shakes his head as Ron started stuffing his face before the entire hall was filled with ghosts that were floating around and entertaining all the students. After the meal Harry followed the Gryphindore prefect that Harry learnt was one of Ron's older brothers, Percey and proceeded walk through the halls to the moving staircases before walking through another corridor and to a painting of a fat lady that was actually a hidden door with the Gryphindore Common room. Harry found that he was sharing a room with four others with Ron. Harry sees that his luggage was placed next to their respected beds. Harry sits on his bed before while everyone else changed their clothes to get to sleep while talking to one another.

Harry takes a deep breath before he pulls out his deck and starts going through them all until he reached a card he received in the envelope. The card, 'Gagaga Girl' a card he learnt was in limited production to the public. Harry closed his eyes and did not notice the slight green glow the strange ring he was wearing glowed while the card's eyes appeared to open and shut before staring at Harry before he placed his deck on the bed stand and got dressed.

Later that night a ghostly spirit exited Harry's deck before 'Gagaga Girl' appeared sitting on Harry's bed as he slept quietly and moved some hair from his forehead. She would vanish back to the deck before Harry could awaken for the day.

The first weekend at Hogwarts-Morning-Great Hall

The first week at Hogwarts was interesting. His first potions class turned into an attempt to show how useless he was by Professor Snape, who you could easily be mistaken for a vampire. Harry simply answered his questions on potion ingredients by saying, "If I knew anything about potions would I be taking notes or every word you have said," he lifted up his parchment showing that he noted the opening statement along with Snape's questions without looking down.

Transfiguration with Professor McGonagall almost ended with either him or Ron being turned into a map or a pocket watch for being five minutes late. Charms with the half elf Professor Flitchwick, was interesting, they just learnt some basic wand movements. DADA or Defence Against the Dark Arts, was difficult as Professor Quirl had a terrible stutter with every other word.

Harry was sitting in the main hall with Hermione, both wearing their Duel Disks talking about if they should participate with a Wizard Duel Monster duel, considering the dangers and what some people may want. Hermione sometime got nervous around some of the boys which made her uncomfortable.

Hermione states, "Well we don't know what will happen so maybe we should just watch someone else duel."

Harry nods until Ron arrives with a depressed look as he sits next to Harry and Hermione in defeat. Harry asks, "What is wrong Ron?"

"Malfoy," Ron states before saying, "He is challenging every student with a deck of cards that is filled with over powered monsters."

Harry frowns at that before asking, "Then why aren't you duelling him?"

"He said to beat it saying that my cards were not worth taking," Ron states.

Harry stands while asking, "He is taking everyone's cards?"

"He is winning them fairly, even though I have never seen some of those cards," Ron states as he takes a slice of toast, "He is down at the main courtyard outside now," Harry stands and starts walking out the Hall. Ron sees this and says, "Harry?" before both he and Hermione start following him.

They reach outside to see Draco duelling a fourth year Gryphindore Student. On Draco's side of the field are two 'Battle Ox's while on the Gryphindore students side was a 'Man Eater Bug,' in attack mode. Harry frowns as he focused on the duel before nudging another student and asking, "What is going on?"

The student simply says, "Draco went second and defeated Zack's first monster, Beaver Warrior, and now Zack played Man Eater Bug and now Draco summoned another Battle Ox."

Harry frowns before asking, "Why didn't he play the monster in defence mode and face down?" when the student looked at him like he was crazy before Harry sighs.

Draco proceeded to win the duel by destroying the insect before attacking directly. Draco simply shouts, "Is this all? I was expecting a challenge!"

Harry walks forward while shuffling his deck and says, "I will take you on."

Draco turned to Harry with a smirk and says, "Okay Potter, I win I take your deck."

"I win you return everyone's decks you have taken," Harry stated as he saw Draco place his cards he just used on top of his deck and frowns and the two face one another. They both draw their five cards. Harry looks at Draco and ask, "Do you want to go first?"

Draco smirks and says, "No, you will lose anyway but this way it won't take long," Draco was very cocky with his smirk.

Harry frowns before drawing his cards and after a brief look through them has a plan, "First I play a monster in facedown defence," he does just that shocking everyone and getting a laugh from Draco. Harry then continued, "Now I play two cards face down and end my turn," this shocked everyone.

Draco shouts, 'You can only summon one monster per turn!"

Harry crosses his arms and says, "I know, which is why I played two spell or trap cards after placing a monster."

Draco frowns before saying, "Not like it will do you any good Potter!" Draco draws a card and proceeded to summon Battle Ox is attack mode. He attacked Harry's face down revealing, 'Old Vindictive Magician,' Draco laughed before his Battle Ox was suddenly destroyed. Draco shouts, "What happened to my cow?"

Harry spoke up, "My face down monster was 'Old Vindictive Magician' when she is flipped one monster my opponent controls is destroyed. I believe it is my turn now," Draco begrudgingly agreed before Harry drew a card and smiles at the 'Polymerization' card in his hand along with two monster cards. Harry then speaks, "First up I activate my face down, 'Double Summon' this card let's me normal summon twice in a during my turn, I summon 'Elemental Heroes Clayman and Sparkman," the first monster was a hulking golem of stone while the second was a man wearing blue and gold armour while covered in electricity. Harry then spoke again, "I am not done, now I play the Spell card, 'Polymerization' and fuse two monsters in my hand, 'Elemental Heroes Avian and Burstinatrix' together to summon 'Elemental Hero Flame Wingman'!" he placed the cards in his graveyard while two lights fused together above him before a green man with white wings and a red dragon arm appeared in the battle. Harry then says, "In total my monsters attack points equal to more than your life points, but fusion monsters that are special summoned can't attack on the turn they are played."

Draco's shock was replaced with his smug ego as he says, "So what is the point I have the best cards in the wizarding world!"

Harry shakes his head and says, "No you have the easiest to summon monsters in the world and what you don't understand is that I am about to win on my second turn," Draco was confused as Harry revealed his other face down, "I activate 'De-Fusion' this lets me defuse my fusion monster and special summon its components to the field," with that Wingman turned into a green bird man and an attractive red woman with golden crown with flame leaving her hands. Harry spoke, "You have probably already done the maths in your head but, 800+1000+1200+1600=4600, and your life points are only 4000. And without any monsters to defend yourself, this is game over. Now attack my Elemental Heroes, Direct attack!" with that Clayman punched Draco in the gut, Sparkman shocked him, Avian knocked him away with a tornado and Burstinatrix set him on fire.

Harry won the duel and everyone magically got their exact cards back from Draco with an impressive light show before everyone started crowding Harry asking how he managed to do that with the spells and he showed them the cards he used while not letting anyone touch them.

Harry simply shouts, "The useless cards in the Bargain bin are probably some of the best Duel Monster Cards in the game," with that everyone's eyes widen before they suddenly ran off to write letters to get these cards.

Hermione walked up to Harry and says, "Jokes on them, we already know where to get some cards."

Unfortunately that was when Ron's older brothers, Fred and George appeared and asks together, "Where might that be, our young friends?"

Harry looked between the two and says, "Either me or Hagrid if he took my advice, maybe professor McGonagall."

Fred and George smirk before saying, "Good job dealing with the pounce, we were just about to duel him together two on one."

Harry nods before saying, "Ah yes, team duels require that everyone's first move no one can attack. Not very useful if when your opponent does not shuffle their deck," he received two confused looks before Harry asks, "Do all wizards not shuffle their decks for a duel? Because that can be considered cheating." They start heading towards the Gryphindore Common Room only to see Professor McGonagall frowning.

McGonagall simply asks, "This is what you meant when you suggested buying those cards?" Harry nods before McGonagall sighs and says, "Then it is a good thing I did. They will probably be worth it for the year," she walks away with a smile while thinking to adjust her classes.

Harry led the five back to the common room and they all went up to the boys dorm where Harry opens his trunk before revealing a large collection of cards to the Weasley twins before they both placed an arm over Harry's shoulder before both saying, "Harry our new business partner, let's talk business."

Harry frowns before thinking on what to do and says, "We bundle all the cards up into packs and proceed to sell them one galleon a pack. That way everyone gets the chance to get some good cards," the Weasley twins nod before they proceeded to talk about supplies and demands before deciding to shift all the cards into five piles each while Fred and George left and returned quickly to get a bunch of paper and started covering the cards in groups of five and proceeded seal them. They proceeded write 'cards' on the front and proceeded to pile them together.

Ron eventually asks, "So we are going to sell these, but for how much?"

Harry smirks and says, "One galleon per pack. Fred and George will be the face so, they get two Galleons for every five packs, Ron and Hermione get one Galleon for the same number. The remaining Galleon will go to purchasing more cards between all of us." Harry's suggested strategy was received with and acceptable agreements from everyone.

Slytherin Common Rooms-Draco's room-Midday.

Draco was quickly writing a letter to his father with a frown fully expecting that his father would chew him out once he reads the letter. Draco worded the card carefully informing his father how he lost. He was not expecting a good outcome when he finished the letter and left the common rooms to go to the Owlery and send his letter.

Hogwarts Grand Hall-A week later-Saturday lunch time.

Harry sat with his fellow Gryphindore students where students on all the tables were trading spell cards and straight up excited at the fact that they can play a proper game of Duel Monsters. Harry observed that Draco was not in the room along with professor Snape. Harry enjoyed some cold chicken rolls as he waits for Ron, as he was still sleeping. Hermione had gone to the library to study for classes.

Harry looked around and contemplated leaving to join Hermoine in the library, he hadn't duelled anyone since the duel with Draco figuring that he should let the students get used to their new cards before he accepted any challenges. Everyone still did not sacrifice to summon stronger monsters but figured that he would wait a little longer before duelling.

Harry begins to stand before he noticed the a couple Slytherins came up to him. Harry's eyebrow raised when a third year spoke up, "Draco is challenging you to a duel, and if you want your little girl friend back you will accept the duel."

There was no nonsense mentioned in their voices as they led Harry out the great hall and towards the main courtyard that led to the main bridge to the main gate to the train platform. To the side Harry sees Professor Dumbledore, Professor Snape and a man Harry will assume is Draco's father with the pointed sneer that was similar to Draco's. Harry looks to the side and see's Draco's friends Crabb and Goile was standing either side of Hermione who was struggling on her knees with room tying her arms to her side. Hermione's mouth was also gagged with a Slytherin scarf.

Harry looks to Draco with his dumb smirk on his face and asks, "What do you want Draco?"

"We are going to duel and when I win you are going to give me your deck and then leave Hogwarts Forever!" Draco states with superiority.

Harry frowns before asking, "What makes you say that I would be willing?"

Draco glares and says, "If you don't your friend will be mine. She will make the perfect servant. Even if she is a filthy Mud Blood."

Harry frowns before saying, "Fine, but what do I get if I win?"

Harry's question was laughed at as Draco says, "I don't care."

Harry looked around at those present before smirking and says, "If I win you have to change house," Draco was confused before Harry explained, "You have to move to Grythindore from Slytherin."

Draco frowns and was about to deny the constraint only to see his father's look and says, "It won't matter, once I win you will be a fool," with that they both proceeded to stand across from each other and they started a duel. Draco spoke first, "I will go first," he draws his card and then selects his monster and says, "I play 'Giant Soldier of stone' and two face downs."

Harry frowns before asking, "Really you are playing that monster in attack mode?" Draco growls at that before Harry asks, "How many times have you even duelled before?" Draco growls again before Harry sighs and says, "I play one card face down in defence mode and play 'Pot of Greed' to draw two cards." He drew the cards and looks at his cards and sees two cards that will ensure that Harry will have an amazing game plan. Harry then says, "I play three face downs and end my turn."

Draco smirks before saying, "I play, 'Battle Ox' in attack mode and my stone Golem attacks your face down after I activate the spell card on my side of the field 'Banner of Courage,' which increases all my monsters attack points by two hundred," Draco smirks as his monsters get stronger, "Soldier attack his face down!"

Giant Soldier of Stone ATK 1300+200=1500

Harry's face down is revealed to be another 'Giant Soldier of Stone' in defence mode, Draco's monster attacks only for the attack to bounce off and to step back. Harry watches as Draco is shocked that he lost five hundred life points. Harry says, "When a monster is in Defence mode stops me from loosing Life Points, but if the monster attacking him is weaker the attacking side looses Life Points."

Draco sneers and says, "That monster is not the card you played last time!"

"Of course, I shuffle my deck so that every duel is different," Harry states shocking Draco and Harry then says, "I have as much of a chance to lose as I do to win. And with that I activate my trap," he gestures to the centre card and says, "Spellbinding Circle, you monster is trapped in attack mode and cannot attack until this card leaves the field."

Draco growls before saying, "My Battle Ox can still destroy your monster, when I play this card, 'Black Pendant' increasing Battle Ox's attack another five hundred. And he attacks your monster!"

Battle Ox ATK 1700+300+500=2500

Harry activates another trap and says, "I activate the trap card, 'Draining Shield' which adds your monsters attack to my Life Points!"

Harry Potter LP 4000+2500=6500

Harry then says, "Is that all?"

Draco growls and says, "I end my turn."

Harry nods as he looks to his hand and sees a possible move that could end this quickly, "I play 'Double Summon' so that I can normal summon two monsters this turn and I summon my Gagaga Girl," two similar cards were summoned a teenage girl with a fancy phone in on hand. The Girl monster looked around and sees Hermione tied up and growls threateningly at Crabb and Goile "Next I play sacrifice my Giant Soldier of Stone to summon a monster from my hand, 'Dark Magician'. Now I will have Dark Magician attack you Giant Soldier of stone," on the field a man wearing purple cloak and holding a aqua green staff.

Giant Soldier of stone ATK 1500 vs Dark Magician ATK 2500.

Draco Malfoy LP 4000-1000=3000.

The people who were watching the duel were shocked that Harry managed to summon a level seven monster. Everyone was shocked as the duel continued.

Harry then says, "I end my turn."

Draco growls and draws a card that he reads with a frown and sees that he drew a 'Black Hole' card. Draco smirks and says, "I play the spell card, Black Hole and destroy all your monsters." Harry frowns at that as all his monsters were destroyed. Draco then says, "Now my Battle Ox attack!" only the monster did not attack as he was suddenly destroyed.

Draco's shock was funny to Harry before he says, "Black hole destroys all monsters on the field. Won't stop you from summoning another monster to attack. I wouldn't suggest it though."

Draco growls and says, "It does not matter as I play, Archfiend Solder and he attacks you directly," Harry accepts the attack.

Harry Potter LP: 6500-1900=4600

Draco taunts Harry, "What is wrong Potter, are you going to cry."

Harry stumbled before standing and drew his card and looks at it and smiles before saying, "You managed to hit me, with a card you didn't know how to use, woohoo," he sarcastically states before saying, "Now my turn, First I play Ancient Rule, this lets me summon a monster with five or more stars to the field and I summon, Dark Magician Girl," the card appeared on the field before Harry states, "Her affect gives her three hundred extra attack points for every Dark Magician card in the grave."

Draco snorts and says, "Like it will matter, you won't defeat me with that card."

Harry smiles and says, "Not alone, I play the spell card 'Monster Reborn' and bring back Gagaga Girl to the field and then I play Advance Ritual Art, and sacrifice a monster from my deck," the clouds above started to darken as he says, "Come forth, Magician of Black Chaos!" with that a new spellcaster entered the field, this one with twenty eight hundred attack points. Harry then says, "And as I used another Dark Magician to summon Black Chaos, Dark Magician Girl gains another three hundred attack points. Before I attack though I play the 'Lightning Vortex' card. By sending a card to the graveyard I destroy all of your monsters," lightning destroyed Draco's archfiend before Harry says, "Now my monsters attack you directly. You should have learnt what your cards can do and how to play first Draco."

Dark Magician Girl + Magician of Black Chaos ATK 2000+300+300+2800=5400

Draco was launched back while Harry's Magicians returned to their cards while Gagaga Girl glared at Crabb and Goile before suddenly charging them and slapping the around violently before vanishing.

Professor Dumbledore stands and walks over to Harry as he removes the ropes tying up Hermione, she quickly removes the scarf and spits out a green sock. She throws it at Draco in anger. Professor Dumbledore then says, "Apologies for not stopping this but, Mister Malfoy stated that this was a matter of honour."

Harry simply says, "If that was the case he should have learnt to use the cards he has before duelling someone else. Add some practice duels he may have had a chance." Harry looked at the defeated Draco and adds, "The wizarding world is strange. Why does no one know how to play?"

Everyone was confused around them before Dumbledore speaks, "Well I still apologies for not stopping getting your friends involved." Harry shrugs before Dumbledore says, "Perhaps you will teach some of the students how Muggles' Duel."

Harry frowns before saying, "Not much to teach, two duels and I have shown everything that is common knowledge. I used Ritual monsters, Fusion Monsters and how to summon monsters with more than four stars. I even showed people how to use spells and traps so what do I have left to teach people?" Harry helps Hermione up so that she could walk over to Draco and slaps him silently. Harry and Hermione walk away as Crab and Goil stare at Draco before abandoning him.

Dumbledore turned to Draco and placed a hand on his shoulder and says, "You may see this as a punishment now, but in the future you can consider this a learning experience," Dumbledore walked back into the castle.

Draco just looked at all the cards in his deck and screams at the top of his lungs when everyone leaves him alone. Draco looks back at his cards before standing and started walking to the Slytherin Common room to pack. Draco would then learn that word travels fast and found that people he considered friends completely turned their backs on him. Draco eventually found himself led to the Grythindore Common Room and found himself sharing a room with Ron, Harry, Neville and a kid whose entire school time has resulted in him getting exploded in the face with soot.

Once in the room Draco sees that Hermione and Harry were sitting on his bed going through their decks and Draco sees a 'Harpy Lady' along with many other female styled cards. Draco looks around before asking, "So you Gryphindores' share rooms?"

Harry looked towards Draco and says, "How is that different from Slytherin?"

Draco sneers and says, "Slytherins' have individual rooms," Draco looks around before finding a bed that is not in use and takes a seat and says, "Why did I lose to you?" his question was directed at Harry.

Harry looked at him before saying, "Let me see your deck and I will give you an answer," Draco frowns before handing his deck over and Harry sees all the cards in the deck, all the monsters were over fifteen hundred attack points and he only had about ten spell and traps, in total. Harry frowns before looking to Draco and saying, "Draco, you have way to many monsters in here. Not enough spells and traps. To top it off none of your cards can work together."

Draco frowns before asking, "What do you mean work together?" really confused as Harry gave him back his deck.

Harry pulled out his deck and selected five cards, Dark Magician Girl, Dark Magician, Magician of Black Chaos, Magician Valkyria and finally the spell card Magicians Unite. Harry spoke, "Dark Magician Girl, gains attack points when Dark Magician and Black Chaos is in the grave, Magician Valkyria stops my opponent from attacking one of my other Spellcasters. But with two of them on the field and I play Magicians Unite, one monster gains three thousand attack points while stopping the other from attacking. With your deck you would be unable to defend against it." Harry then selected his Elemental Heroes and the spell card Polymerisation and says, "Elemental Heroes can fuse together to create even more powerful hero," he reveals Flame Wingman and adds, "what you did in our duel, was made a simple mistake and it cost you the duel."

Draco frowns before looking at his cards and sighing before he asks, "Great, and to think that all wizards play like I did," he covers his face before saying, "Guess I have no chance becoming the King of Hogwarts."

Harry was confused before he asks, "What are you talking about?"

Draco looked at him over his hands and says, "The 'King of Hogwarts' it is the title of prestige to gain before leaving Hogwarts," when he received blank looks from Harry and Hermione. Draco sighs before saying, "In Hogwarts there is ten groups with different types of Duelling styles. First have the basic Wizard Duel, where you duel as we have duelled. We summon monsters, attack until one side runs out of life points," Harry and Hermione nod. Draco then goes on, "Now in Hogwarts there is ten types of Duels. Tag, Maze, Board game, Hunt, Endurance, Erotic, Memory, Dice, Duos and Free for all."

Harry nods before asking, "Wouldn't Tag and Duos be the same?"

Draco growls in anger before saying, "Of course not, Tag is a team duel with two or more players on each side uses the same deck to play while Duos is two on two," Draco takes a deep breath before saying, "Maze is what it sounds like, each side summons a monster that can only move by the number of stars it has, no flying, and can only attack when they meet each other in the maze. Board Game is normally shifted between different styles of Muggle and Wizard Board games, so if the game was chess your monsters are the pieces. Though the duel is a second part of it. Hunt is where the challenger has to either find the designated item or defeat your opponent, these duels normally happen in large areas like the forested areas or the dungeons. Endurance, instead of life points you lose cards per the difference in number of stars, unless it is a smaller number of stars but more attack they still take the number of stars it has," Harry and Hermione nods as Draco continues, Memory your entire deck is spread on a table in front of you face up, and you are given a minute to memorise where they are before they are flipped and you are to select ten cards to use, so a starting hand and five turns. Dice is where a set of dice is used to decide what happens to everyones monsters. Finally Free for all is a duel with multiple people fighting each other the last wizard standing won."

Harry frowns while Hermione asks, "What about the Erotic style, why didn't you tell us about that?"

Draco frowns before saying, "I don't know about that one, all I know is that it requires two people on each side. It is also the most dangerous of the ten styles."

Ron then enters the room and sees Draco and shouts, "What is a slimy snake doing in here?"

Draco glares at Ron before saying, "I lost a duel against Potter and his constraint when he won was for me to join Gryphindore."

Ron's eyes widened before he says, "I did not know that was possible!"

Fred and George entered the room and says, "Well so it is true, a Malfoy became a Gryphindore," they laugh before focusing on Harry and says, "We sold the cards you gave us," they dropped a pouch of Galleons on Harry's bed. Harry opened his suitcase that was filled with more packs of cards and handed several dozen over to Fred and George who say, "Oh and Harry you will find that we sold some packs to Slytherins but at five Galleons per pack," they took the new packs and left quickly to sell them.

Draco asks, "You have been selling cards?"

Harry says, The Bargain bin at the Duel Store, was filled with some of the world's most rare cards on the planet. So we packaged them into packs to sell."

Draco nods before asking, "How much for a couple?"

Harry nods before saying, "One Galleon a pack."

Draco frowns before saying, "What exactly is your profits for such a small price?"

Hermione smirks and says, "Almost Five hundred cards per Galleon and we are selling them in packs of five for a Galleon."

Draco eyes widened before he sighs and asks, "How much for me?" expecting the his price to be higher.

"One Galleon each," Harry answered surprising Draco who pulled out five Galleons from his pouch and hands it to Harry. Harry gives him five packs and says, "They are random, so the cards may not be the correct type you will want."

Draco accepted the packs before asking, "I take it you already took the cards you wanted," Harry nodded before Draco went through the cards that he just got while the cards while also reading through all the monsters effects, Spells and Traps.

Ron grabbed Harry's arm and pulls him away from Draco to ask, "Have you lost your mind, you are helping our enemy."

Harry looked to Draco before turning back to Ron to say, "I just forced him to change house, what do you think that has done to him," Ron looked at him strangely in annoyance causing Harry to shake his head and walk away. Harry walked over to his bed before asking Draco, "Where are those groups?"

Draco frowns before saying, "From what I learnt from the Slytherin seventh years. The Tag is in the boat house on weekends, Maze and Dice are in the dungeons, Hunt is random and needs to be found. Memory is in the Library and Board Game is located at the North Study hall. Free for All is at the Quiditch Pitch. Duos can be found in the field next to the Forbidden Forest. Dice is located at the south Court yard while the Endurance group is located at the East Gate house. Erotic is in the storage attic, at the west side tower, seventh floor on Sunday."

Ron was thoughtful at that and walked over to his bed and gets his deck while excusing himself with plans to duel some people. (He either loses or was completely ignored.)

Harry looked at Hermione and asks, "So have you decided on your deck?"

Hermione looks at her cards before saying, "I want to do more research before deciding on my deck." Harry nods before he leans starts shuffling his deck quickly as he focused on his deck and Hermione asks, "So what do you think of about this 'King of Hogwarts' thing?"

Harry frowns before saying, "Don't know, I figure if I should wait before participating, I did kind of disrupt a lot of decks," Draco looked at him briefly before Harry says, "It will probably be interesting to duel them."

Halloween-End of Charms class-last class for the day.

Harry walked with Hermione and Draco as all of the other Gryphindore students were listening to Ron bad mouth Hermione, Hermione goes to run away when Harry stopped her before saying, "Ron is an idiot. Don't worry about it. So come on let's go enjoy our Halloween," Harry's frown at the end of his sentence but she nods anyway.

They enjoyed watching a four fourth years duelling in a Duo Duel, with one side using cards that complement each other while the Slytherin pair was fighting as they worked together before eventually loosing the duel. Harry shakes his head at the fact that the Slytherin team were using cards from every type of monster, while the spells and traps countered each others' cards.

Harry, Hermione and Draco went to the great hall for the feast, with the Slytherins to taunt and make fun of Draco. They managed to take a seat at the Gryphindore table where Draco says, "And to think I probably would have initiated this crap." Gesturing to the paper and ink before saying, "I should have realised how dumb I had been," as since the second week of Hogwarts he had been having to deal with the bullying that was originally done to one Neville Longbottom.

Harry nods while at the main table Dumbledore watches the change in Draco and had to smile at the humility he had obtained. Not to mentioned that Draco has avoided duelling along with Hermione and Harry. Eventually the feast continued, with Hermione having a good time with Harry and to a lesser extent Draco. Ron was about five students away stuffing his face before Professor Quirel arrived and shouted, "TROLL! TROLL IN THE DUNGEON!" everyone looked at him in shock before he says, "Thought you would like to know," he then faints quickly.

Everyone begins to panic but Draco started laughing that shut everyone one up, "Slytherin's Common Room is in the Dungeons," that got Slytherin to be very shocked as they had a suspicion where they would be going to avoid the Troll. Draco laughs and says, "Changing house doesn't look so bad now," he appears to relax in victory getting angry looks from the Slytherins.

Draco's shocking statement quietened the hall before Dumbledore speaks, "Prefects lead the students to their Common Slytherin students stay here, with Professor Quirel and Professor Snape, while the rest of the teachers will go and search the Dungeons."

With that all the students safe, with teachers keeping watch the Troll had been found and removed from the school without injury.

Fred and George sat with Harry, Hermione, Ron and Draco, sat in the main room in front of the fire. Draco was duelling Ron with their decks. Hermione was reading a book while Harry was speaking with Fred and George about their dwindling number of cards to sell. Harry suddenly suggests, "Perhaps we should talk to Hagrid, I believe that he bought of few cards."

Fred and Geoge nod before asking, "Perhaps we should go speak with him and make a deal for more cards," Harry nods and accepts the idea.

Ron then lost his duel and growls before going through his deck and organising himself for another duel against Draco who simply gave him the duel and won.

Neville then reached the Common room after being abandoned by the other Gryphindore students because a couple of Slytherins used a sticking curse on him as he left his shoes outside the Great hall. Neville simply asks, "Why am I always getting messed with," he silently walking to his dormroom.

A month later-Beginning of Quidtich season-After the game of Gryphindore vs Slytherin-Saturday Morning

(Just to point out, in the books and movie, Draco taunts Harry into breaking the rules in hopes of him getting caught resulting in Harry joining the Quiditch team in his first year.)

Harry and his friends, including Draco, walked back into Hogwarts after the game while everyone else went to the great hall to get something to eat. They walked over the moving staircases and got half way only for the stairs to suddenly shifted. Harry simply asks, "What is going on?"

Hermione states, "The stairs move remember," the stairs stopped and the four walk up the stairs to find themselves on the third floor. "We shouldn't be here this is the third floor corridor." Harry nods and they start walking away only to see a cat in the way, "It is Filtch's cat!" they then had the dumb idea and they ran down to the other end of the corridor.

They tried to open the door at the end of the hall with Ron stating that it was locked before Hermione used her wand to open the locked door and they proceeded inside to hide from Filtch before both he and his cat leave. Harry looks behind them to see a large three headed dog that was sleeping, Harry simply whispers, "Back through the door calmly," everyone looked behind them to see the three headed dog started to awaken. Draco and Hermione listened to Harry and slowly walked out the door while Ron simply froze before he screamed. Harry grabbed the back of his collar and out the room as Draco and Hermione closed the door quickly. Harry simply says, "I said quietly leave not scream in terror, Ron."

They leave the hall quickly without any issues as they managed to get out of the hall way without issue and start walking a different path back to the common room. They get to a corridor and Ron says, "What do they think they are doing having something like that in a school?"

Harry frowns before asking, "All of use wield wands that could probably kill someone in the heat of anger?" Ron was confused before Harry continues, "Plus with Duels in the Wizarding world, where as I understand it, can be to the death."

Draco nods and says, "It is considered normal, plus a Cerberus can be considered safe at Hogwarts. As long as students don't interact with it. Which is probably why the rule not to go there is normal for Hogwarts."

Ron was confused before Hermione says, "Let's get back to the common room before we get in trouble," they start walking and after ten minutes Hermione asks, "Where are we?"

"In our Parlour," A pair of Ravenclaws fifth years who looked like polar opposites in the way of being a nerdy student, were blocking their path forward while the path backwards was blocked by several more Ravenclaws. Harry frowns as they were probably wouldn't be able to leave before they could even consider leaving. The Ravenclaw on the left, the one who appeared to be covered in acne and thick rimmed glasses spoke, "You have entered the hall of puzzle games. You complete our challenge and you may pass."

The nerd who appeared to be buff while wearing thick rimmed glasses, spoke next, "Loss to or strategy consider yourself card less and in defeat."

The first, "As you have come to us, we will pick the game."

The second, "You will pick your pair," Harry, Hermione and Draco were confused while Ron appeared to be ready for a battle. The Second Ravenclaw speaks, "One will play the board game and the other shall duel."

The First Ravenclaw continues, "Depending on the game we pick, you will be able to either attack or lose cards. The game we will play is Battleships," Harry's eyes narrow as the first Ravenclaw continues, "Battleships is a strategy game where you place several ship pieces of different values. When you hit a ship you may attack, attacks can be stockpiled for later if you do not wish to attack. Miss and you lose cards equal to the number of turns you had taken up to that point."

Harry was thoughtful with that before asking, "So we can put the pieces anywhere?"

The second Ravenclaw says, "Of course," while thinking, 'Not that it will matter, his sides case is enchanted to reveal to us where you place their pieces on the field,' the Ravenclaw then says, "Are you ready to duel?"

Ron was about to agree only for Harry to says, "I will play your board game while Draco duels your duellist."

Ron grabbed his arm and asks, "What are you thinking, I have duelled more students at Hogwarts then Draco has."

Harry says, "I already have a plan," he turns to Draco and says, "You ready?"

Draco nods before inserting his deck as Harry stood in front of the desk with the battleship board game while the other team set themselves up with the second Ravenclaw stood at his table. The First Ravenclaw speaks, "My bugs will defeat you."

Draco simply says, "Well who goes first?"

The first Ravenclaw smiles and says, "While our partners place their pieces on the board we have our first turns," With that Harry and the Second Ravenclaw placed their pieces." Harry apparently did that while his opponent did the same. The first Ravenclaw spoke, "I will go first!" he drew and played his turn, "I play one monster face down in defence mode. Your turn."

Draco draws as he nervously looks to Harry before saying, "I summon 'Dark Blade' in attack mode and play 'Black Pendant' increasing its attack by five hundred points. Your Move."

The second Ravenclaw says, "A-One."

Harry looked at him and says, "Miss," Harry looked at his board quickly before noticing a carving in the plastic and touches it to see that all his opponents pieces were seen.

Harry smirks as the First Ravenclaw says, "Draw, I play 'Giant Trunade' to send all spell and traps cards back to their owners hands," he placed his spell card into his grave while 'Black Pendant' returns to Draco's hands. The First Raven Claw says, "Hurry up with your turn so I can squash you."

Harry frowns silently in deep thought before saying, "C five," his opponent's eyes widened before Harry says, "Well what is the result?"

The second Ravenclaw says, "Hit,"

Draco smirks before drawing his card and saying, "I play 'Armed Ninja' and equip 'Black Pendant' before attacking you face down revealing, 'Man Eater Bug.'

The First Ravenclaw smirks and says, "You activated my monsters effect, which allows me to destroy one of your monsters, and I choice Dark Blade."

Dark blade was destroyed as Draco says, "I end my turn."

The first Ravenclaw growls and says, "You better find them this turn."

The second Ravenclaw frowns and presses the carving to reveal his opponents pieces only he did not see anything. The second Ravenclaw frowns before guessing, "D two?"

Harry smirks before saying, "Nope."

The Ravenclaw team started growling before arguing. The first Ravenclaw speaks and says, "I play one card face down in defence mode," while thinking, 'My Noble Man Eater Bug will destroy him when he next attack."

Harry smiles before saying, "D five."

The second Ravenclaws eyes were wide before saying, "You sunk my battle ship. That means that all your monsters can attack this turn," he grits his teeth in anger.

Draco drew his card before he says, "I summon 'Koumori Dragon' in attack mode and play one card face down and end my turn."

From the side lines Ron frowns before saying, "No fair, Draco is holding back Harry he could have destroyed that monster quickly."

The second Ravenclaw was sweating before he guess, "H three," the answer was a negative for the Ravenclaws.

"Nope," Harry stated as the First Ravenclaw drew a card and smirks before playing, "I play the field spell 'Forest' will increase my insect monsters attack and defence by two hundred points. Your move."

Harry guess, "A two," The second Ravenclaw frowns before nodding in the affirmative.

Draco drew and sees a card that he does not need at the moment but would help anyway before he plays, "I summon Jack's Knight in attack mode, then I flip my trap card, ''Raigeki Break' to destroy your facedown without activating it," 'Noble Man Eating bug was destroyed before Draco continued, "I play 'Rush Recklessly' have all three of my monsters to attack you directly."

Harry smiles before the second Ravenclaw pushed his board off his table before shouting, "You cheated!"

Harry simply asks, "How, they were your boards that had runes that let you see your opponents field or perhaps it was the fact that you could not see our pieces?"

The second Ravenclaw shouts, "How did you beat our strategy?"

Harry smirks and says, "You said where we can place our pieces anywhere we want, so I did not place them at all."

Their eyes widened before all the cards fell from the first Ravenclaws duel harness as Draco suddenly starts laughing and says, "Well that wasn't very smart on their part. But it is still our win," he crosses his arms in joy before he says, "I believe that this counts for a pin each right?"

The two Ravenclaws growl before another Ravenclaw claps and says, "Well, well, well, a pair of first years defeated the battleship strategy with a glance at the equipment. Where are my manors I am Derik Pendore, and congratulations on becoming the first duellists that have completed the challenge in six years." Derik then pulled out a pair of pins in the shape of a chest board and says, "Congratulations, but before you leave," after Harry and Draco accepted the pins he asks, "Would you two consider joining our little club?"

Draco shakes his head and says, "Sorry, but that wouldn't be too fair. I mean I am heading to the top. Can't do that joining a club."

Harry nods before saying, "I will consider it but frankly it will have to wait until I decide what kind of duellist I want to be."

They nod before letting them leave quickly. Hermione was the first to speak, "That was interesting, even though both sides technically cheated in a sense."

Ron spoke, "With how Harry played even Draco could win without any effort," Ron's insult was ignored as they reached the Common Room. Once inside they see that Fred and George were selling the last of their cards and starting to count the money they made. They nod to Harry as Harry and Draco sit opposite them while Ron goes over to the everyone and says, "Harry just won a duel against the Board Game group!"

Harry sighs lightly while Draco growls as Harry is swarmed by Gryphindores from multiple years. They continue to annoy Harry with questions until Professor McGonagall enters the Common Room and speaks to everyone, "That is enough everyone I have some announcements," everyone calmed down before the Teaching head of Gryphindore spoke up, "Due to demands by students and parents, Hogwarts will be opening a store for students to purchase school supplies, candy and Duel Monster cards. The Weasley's packs are still legal to purchase, even with students from Slytherin making complaints as the packs that the store is selling will be two Galleons and with twice the number of cards inside." Fred and George were relieved as McGonagall continues, "Also Hagrid has supplied the student store with packs of cards that I hope the Weasley teens will be able to assist with packaging," she looks pointedly.

Harry speaks up with that, "We can do that, give Hagrid a cut." Harry surprised everyone with that comment. Harry then continues, "What? It wasn't my fault that the card shop was selling all those powerful cards for a knut each, and all I had to do was spend a couple Galleons to make a profit?"

That got everyone to drop their jaws before Ron grabbed Draco's collar and shouts, "What do you think you are doing turning Harry dark."

Harry frowns before asking, "What is so bad about being dark, I mean just because you are dark, doesn't mean that they are evil."

McGonagall simply says, "Dark refers to being evil in the wizarding world," McGonagal turns to everyone and says, "That will be all everyone. Oh and Mister Potter and Mister Draco congratulations getting your first pins." McGonagall starts to walk out the common room only to stop suddenly before saying, "Also Hagrid invited you Harry for tea and he said you can bring a couple of your friends." Harry gave her a thumbs up.

Hermione simply asks, "Should we form a plan for those other clubs?"

Harry frowns before saying, "I would have thought you would want to know about the three headed dog on the third floor. Perhaps Hagrid could inform us."

Draco nods before saying, "Then we may as well go," only for Ron to put a hand in front of him.

Ron says, "Friends only," before starting walking towards the exit.

Harry look at him strangely before saying, "Ron he is our friend, so let's go," Harry, Hermione and Draco start walking out the Common Room. Fred and George followed after them quickly.

In a dark room hidden in Hogwarts-That moment

A dark figure was sitting at a desk in front of him was a deck of Duel Monster cards, with several spells and traps. A dark chuckle was spoken as the man built their deck, before looking at a green seal spell card called 'Seal of Oricalcum' that he placed the card in his deck.

The figure simply says, "Soon I will have what I desire, then a new body," he laughs to himself when a knock was heard and he shouts, "I w-w-w-w-will be there in a m-m-m-moment. I j-j-j-just need to fix my c-c-c-clothes."

Hagrid's hut-Ten minutes later

Harry stretched as they walked with Hermione, Draco, Fred and George, Ron had gone ahead and got lost. Ron never learnt were everything was, including the Library. They walked along a path down a steep hill that reached the people. The path led to a small wood cabin that they knock on. Hagrid opens the door and sees Harry and friends and says, "Hey Harry, I will start boiling the pot. Come in," Hagrid turned around and walking over to the stove to boil water. Harry took a seat on the couch with Hermione while Fred and George sat on an arm chair while Draco sat on wooden table chair.

Hagrid was boiling water when Draco looked at a strange stone next to the fire place with a frown before he asks, "Is that a dragon egg?" Harry's eyes widened at the item before he stood and looked carefully at the Egg.

Hagrid froze slightly before he sighs, "Yeah, I won in a pub, man wanted to know about my three headed dog, Fluffy. But I don't know what kind of Dragon it is, I was going to start incubating it," unfortunately that was when Harry touched the egg where it glowed before exploding and cut three tiny cuts into his hand from the egg, while the Dragon inside was white with many spikes, but it's two eyes were a beautiful blue.

Harry's eyes widened at the sight before it lightly roared before extending its wings and flew around the room and blasted a hole in the door and flew away. Hagrid shouts, "Come back Norbit!" and ran outside after it where it was long gone." Harry shakes his hand and looks at the three small cuts that already healed but was completely healed while Harry also noticed the ring he was wearing glowed green for a second, along with four cards appeared in his deck.

Harry asks, "Was that normal?"

Draco shakes his head no, while Hermione shouts, "That was a Blue Eyes White Dragon!" Fred, George and Draco looked at her strangely before Hermione says, "One of the most powerful cards in existence is the 'Blue Eyes White Dragon' and there is only three known copies in existence and belongs to the second best duellist in the world."

Harry stared at the hole that was made before he asks, "This is the strangest day ever, first a monster from Duel Monsters is real, I see ghosts of cards following people and what is next, Soul Eating duellist?" (Yes, Voldermort just sneezed.)

Hermione frowns before saying, "You are really desensitize to all this, aren't you?" Harry shrugs finding all of this strange but boring.

Harry simply says, "I was told my parents killed themselves drink driving, where it changed over the years. Then I learn they were heroes to an entire culture that still plays Duel Monsters. Frankly the first duel I ever played with a duel disk was against Draco."

Draco nods before saying, "You pretty much tanked me there," everyone nods at that.

Hermione then asks, "Should we head back in?"

Harry frowns before saying, "Yeah, I doubt Hagrid wants us alone in his home," he starts walking to the door when a depressed Hagrid returned.

Hagrid says, "I am sorry. Norbit is long gone," Hagrid proceeded to finish making tea.

Hermione asks, "Why is Fluffy on the third floor?"

Hagrid answers before saying, "I loaned him to Dumbledore to protect the, ah," he stopped and says, "I shouldn't have said that."

Harry simply asks, "You didn't tell the guy who gave you the Dragon anything that could, I don't know help him get past a vicious three headed dog that is guarding what was probably in that vault we went too?" he says sarcastically.

Hagrid then says with a seriousness that was a warning as he says, "Listen what Fluffy is guarding is between Albus and Nicholas Flimel," Hagrid states expecting it to be done with.

Harry frowns before Draco shouts in shock, "THE PHILOSOPHER'S STONE!"

Hagrid froze before saying, "Don't tell anyone, it is meant to be a secret."

Harry frowns before asking, "Did you tell the man who gave you the DRAGON EGG, how to get past FLUFFY!?"

Hagrid simply says, "He asked and I told him that," he stopped talking before placing his face in both his hands and says, "What have I done."

"Tell Professor Dumbledore so that he can add more security," Harry states before adding, "You know so that he can add some more security," Hagrid nods and everyone leaves quickly. Harry, Hermione, Draco and the Weasley twins return to the common room for the night.

Christmas Break-Day one-Great Hall

Harry sits across from Ron as they played a game of Wizard Chess, which was just chess with self moving pieces that broke each other. Harry was extremely bored as he lost to Ron for the third time. Harry sighs as he leans back and asks, "Sorry I am apparently not a challenge with this. Never played normal chess before."

Ron shrugs before saying, "Don't worry mate, I will make an amazing Wizarding Chess player out of you yet."

Draco walked up to them and takes a seat next to them and says, "So what is everyone's Christmas plans?"

Ron glares at Draco while Harry simply says, "I will be here, not really any point going 'home' to a two guardians will just leave me home the entire time."

Draco nods before saying, "Same, Don't really think that going home at the moment is not a good idea. Dad wasn't too happy with the result against you Harry."

Harry nods before they see Hermione walking over to the to see Ron playing Harry in his forth game of chess and in time to Ron destroy one of Harry's pieces. Hermione sees the piece shattered before she says, "That is totally barbaric."

Ron smirks before saying, "That is Wizards Chess," Ron looks at her trunk and says, "I see your packed?"

"I see that you are not," Hermione countered.

Ron smirks and says, "Change of plans, my parents are going to visit my brother Charlie in Romania, they breed dragons there," he mentions to Harry.

Harry nods at that until They hear a person clearing their throat before seeing Professor Dumbledore who says, "Can the four of you come with me quickly. Miss Granger, your luggage will meet you at the platform, but there is something you all need to see," the four students followed after the Head master of Hogwarts through the school before they reach an empty classroom with the only item inside is a large mirror. Professor Dumbledore spoke, "This is the Mirror of Erised," look inside and tell me what you see."

Ron quickly rushed forward and his eyes widened and he says, "I am head boy, I won the house cup shaking hands with Dumbledore and captain of the Quiditch team too," Ron frowns before focusing on Dumbledore and asks, "Does this thing show the future?"

Harry frowns at that before Dumbledore chuckles and says, "It shows what you desire most," he gestures for everyone else to look in the mirror.

Hermione looked in the mirror next and where she sees what she wants and saw an angel where her eyes widened in shock as she realised what her deck needs to be. She remained silent as Draco looked in the mirror and saw him duelling Harry only no clear winner was seen.

Harry stepped forward and sees two people, a woman with red hair and green eyes next to a man with glasses like Harry's, their forms shifted into two Duel Monsters, 'Magician's Valkyeria' and one of the cards he got from the vault, 'Timegazer Magician,' which he was yet to add to his deck. It was then that Magician's Valkyeria suddenly had a duel disk and was holding TimeGazer Magicians card along with another card of the same type before placing them in the spell trap zone at opposite ends and nods to Harry.

Harry frowns before saying, "What was my parents like?" Harry simply asks as he had not tried asking since he truely learned he was a wizard.

Dumbledore nods in thought before saying, "Your father was prankster who would spend the time breaking rules during his time at Hogwarts. Your Mother on the other hand was a master at strategy, when the two of them combined their abilities they became extremely powerful which is probably why they were attacked," Dumbledore states before saying, "The Mirror of Erised can show what the heart truly desires. The day you see nothing is the day when you have everything that your truly desire. All you will see is your own reflection."

Harry frowns before asking, "Why are you showing us this?"

Dumbledore nods before saying, "Hagrid informed me what you told him, I am having this mirror placed in the path to the special item. I ask that all of you remain silent on the matter. Harry, Draco and Hermione nod.

Ron on the other hand asks, "What item?" only to not receive an answer.

They left the room so that Hermione could get to the platform to head home for Christmas. Hermione said her goodbyes before Harry, Ron and Draco returned to the common room with plans to help Ron with fixing his deck. Which was a long task as they struggled to convince Ron to use cards that would actually help him unless they looked cooler then the cards he already had, which resulted in Harry and Draco giving up.

Christmas-Early morning

Harry and Draco awoke to the shouts of Ron shouting, "Harry! Harry wake up!"

Harry and Draco groans as they awoken themselves, with Harry placing his glasses on before the two walked out the dorm room and looking over the balcony to see Ron wearing a shirt with the letter 'R' on his shirt and says, "What are you wearing?"

Ron looks at the sweater and says, "My mum made it, I think you have one too."

Harry nods and walks down the stairs calmly while saying, "Never got Christmas presents before."

Draco follows him while saying, "I don't expect to be getting anything," they walk over to the tree before Harry finds a present and hands it to Draco to see that it was a gift for Draco from his mother. Draco opens the card and reveals a card box that he opens and sees that it had a couple Duel Monster cards and Christmas card. Draco says, "My mum sent me a box," he looks at the cards and smiles and says, "She got cards and," he starts reading before his eyes widened as he says, "I am going to be a big brother."

Harry simply says, "Congratulations," Draco hands Harry the cards that he received and says, "Buster Blader that is a good card Draco," he hands Draco back his cards while Ron grumbled about Draco's family having money to buy everything they want. Draco hands Harry one of his presents. Harry looks at the card and reads aloud, "Your father trusted me with this item and now it is time it was returned," Harry opened the package and says, "It is a cape?" he then placed it around his shoulders and everything below his neck vanished. Draco and Rons' eyes widened and Harry asks, "I am invisible?" Harry frowns before raising the cloak over his head and completely turned invisible and walks behind Ron before he sucked a finger and inserted it in Ron's ear.

Ron flinched at that before saying, "Why did you do that to me Harry?"

Harry revealed himself before saying, "Draco is holding his wand."

Draco nods before seeing a package which was perfectly wrapped in muggle packaging and says, "Harry, you have a present from a Dudley Dursley," Harry rushed over and proceed to open the present.

The present was strangely simple that got Harry to smirk as he reveals a pair of glasses in the style of Dark Magician's staff. Harry laughs and says, "Very funny Dudley," he smiles before placing the glasses on and having only slightly better sight.

Ron frowns before asking, "If they are so funny why are you wearing them?"

Harry smiles and says, "An inside joke, Dark Magician was considered my best monster in my deck for a long time, almost all of my tactics when I first started related to him," he takes a seat before saying, "Dudley always joked about how I am a wizard at duelling."

Draco frowns before saying, "Well you have more presents to open. So hurry up and we can go to get breakfast," he walks back up to the dorm room to get dressed.

Ron continues to open his presents while Harry took his presents over to the table while also going through his cards where he notices that there was three new cards in his deck that caused his eyes to widen before seeing a new card in his extra deck and proceeded to go through his cards with a serious look and making plans on how to use his cards.

Ron simply asks, "Harry did you get any Chocolate Frogs?" Harry simply hands Ron over the candy as Harry continued to duel. Ron opened the packs ate the frogs and received of the six packs, six Albus Dumbledore cards. Harry placed his cards in the holder before heading up stairs to his dorm with his remaining presents with plans to get changed. Draco and Harry was dressed and heading out the Common Room while hearing that Gred and Feorge were wearing the other's jumper and proceeding to heading to the Grand Hall.

Lunch time-Great Hall-Christmas day

Harry and Draco were enjoying their lunch in the great hall while Gred and Feorge going through the cards they each had while not letting anyone see their decks. Once Harry finished his lunch Ron arrived and proceeded to find that Harry and Draco was getting up to leave only for Ron to stop them long enough for Gred and Feorge to leave with their cards. Ron simply says, "So Harry what are you going to do after lunch, challenge one of the other clubs?"

Harry frowns before saying, "I wasn't planning on it, you know give myself something to do in later years."

Ron frowns at Harry's choice before saying, "But you are Harry Potter!"

"And?" Harry questioned before he says, "My view of my name is that it is just a name Ron, not a source of Ego. Frankly all the student at Hogwarts need more time to learn how to play with their cards, give myself a proper challenge." Draco and Harry stand before walking out the great hall where they see Fred and George lying on the ground groaning in pain. Harry crouched next to them and woke them up before asking, "Who did this to you?"

Gred groans and says, "It was a couple cloaked guys."

Feorge spoke up, "They took our decks," Feorge had an envelope on his chest, "They said to give this to you," the Weasley twins fell to the ground.

Harry reads the note and says, "It is a challenge for two to defeat the people at the boat house," with that Harry and Draco started running down the halls heading to the Boat house. Ron left the Great Hall and found it empty trying to find Harry.

Twenty minutes later-Stairs to the Boat House

Harry led Draco down to the stairs leading to the boat house where they see several people in hooded cloaks with a shield symbol on the front. One of the cloaked students simply says, "Good there is two of you, our leaders wish to duel the two of you. You win you will get the Duos pin, but if you lose you will both be required to participate in a penalty of your opponents choice," the cloaked student smirks before saying, "But if you win, we will give each our rarest card."

Harry frowns before looking to Draco and asking, "Are you willing to risk it?"

Draco frowns before saying, "I have some new cards I want to try, let's get some revenge for our fellow Gryphindores," Harry smirks at that before the two were led over to a pair of boats that they stepped into one each before floating onto the Black Lake where they see two cloaked students with two different clown masks, one mask is blue with a frownie face while the other is red with a large smile. Draco asks the two, "Who are you meant to be?"

Their voices were completely different but styled like their masks but they both spoke at the same time, "We are the Duo of Comedy! By the end of our duel, we will have you in stitches!"

Harry then looks to the side where all of the Hogwarts teaching staff who stayed for the Christmas break was watching. Harry then asks the pair, "Why did you attack the Weasley twins!?"

"We did no such thing! All we did was leave a challenge!" the pair said in union before saying, "The rules of this duel is simple. We play in pairs, each side has their full two person field, but if you wish to use your allies monster you need permission from your ally. In the event that your ally is targeted by an attack, you may activate your traps to save him. Same with spells. In the event that one of you looses all your life points, you both loose."

Harry frowns before asking, "So basic Tag team duel, neither side can attack until all duellist have had their first turn. So can we get started it is really cold being on the lake during winter," Harry, Draco, Happy and Sad activated their duel disks.

"DUEL," they all said and the duel began.
