Ruby was in the kitchen, humming while baking cookies. She was baking them for a Bunny Scout bake sale. Max walked in the kitchen to see what was going on. "Hi, Ruby," Max greeted. "What are you doing?" "I'm baking cookies for a Bunny Scout bake sale," Ruby replied. "Wanna help?"
"Sure," Max said. "You can help with the frosting," Ruby exclaimed. "The colors should be separate. All you have to is mix the icing mixture into six different colors; pink, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple." "Ok," Max said.
Max mixed the different food coloring in the separate mixtures, just like Ruby told him. She was impressed about the excellent work. "Great job," said Ruby. "Now you can go play." "Ok," Max responded. The flavor of the cookies were sugar. As soon as the cookies were done, she put the different icing on different cookies on them and put sprinkles on them for the finishing touch. The cookies looked like this; a cookie with pink icing and red sprinkles, a cookie with orange icing and yellow sprinkles, a cookie with yellow icing and green sprinkles, a cookie with green icing and blue sprinkles, a cookie with blue sprinkles and purple sprinkles, and a cookie with purple icing and pink sprinkles.
The door bell rang. It was Louise, Vallery, and Martha. "Hi, Louise. Hi, Vallery. Hi, Martha," Ruby greeted. "Hi, Ruby," the girls greeted back. "Is your recipe done yet?" Vallery asked. "Yep. It's in the kitchen right now," answered Ruby. "My cookies are in different colors." Once the Bunny Scouts saw the cookies, they were amazed. "Wow! Your cookies look amazing," Louise complimented. "It's like a rainbow," Vallery added. "Nicely done," added Martha. "Thanks," Ruby replied.
"My dessert for the bake sale is chocolate chip filled brownies," Louise exclaimed. "Mine is flower cupcakes," Vallery added. "And mine is winter doughnuts," Martha added. The Bunny Scouts were all ready for the bake sale. Everyone enjoyed what they made. It had to be the best bake sale Ruby has ever had.
