Hello!

I'm back again with new chapter.

This week has been terrifying,

Pray for Lebanon

Enjoy...

Chapter 14

After the complaint had been signed, Daphne wanted to see it badly, and couldn't wait toask Harry to bring it to her. What would he think of her? He would ask why she wanted it? That single parchment constituted an important part of her plan.

Everyone had become busy suddenly and the last thing she wanted was Harry to discover what she was up to.

Unless she would have to get hold on Marietta immediately.

Waiting for hours at theentrance tothe Ravenclaw tower wasn't hadn't been Daphne's best idea.

She even asked herselfwhat she was doing there in the first place .

where was Marietta when she neededher?

Finally she saw her comingbut lamentably surrounded with her group of friends.

"Where have you been Marietta?" Daphne greeted her smiling.

Thankfully Cho Chang wasn't with her.

"May I have a word with you? " she asked softly, hoping for aprivate conversation with the Ravenclaw .

"What are you doing here Daphne?" Marietta asked, looking around worriedly.

Daphne let out a long sigh. She thought Ravenclaws were smart.

"Looking for you silly," she mocked her with a girlish giggle.

Why would a Slytherin hang around their tower if she didn't need something?

Daphne muttered "Muffliato" waving her wand and stared back with a raised eyebrow at Marietta.

Finally Marietta took thehint.

"I have done it, and the complaint is signed–".

"Well, where is it? " Daphne interrupted herpretending to search around.

"What?" Marietta was confused.

"Where is the parchment Marietta? I don't see it with you."

Marietta cleared her throat, "What do you mean? Granger has it," she explained.

Daphne let a deep irritated sigh.

"Tut,tut. Do you really want daddy to remain jobless and mommy to join him?. If you don't bring me that parchment things will turn pretty ugly. Bring it today, get it? Make me proud," Daphne smiled squeezing the girl's arm, and left.

Marietta thought for hours about Daphne's threat. How could she get her hands on the complaint? She had tried to approach Hermione Granger more than once and failed every time. The last meeting of the DA, before the winter holidays started, would be held in a few days and she would have to try again.

Daphne was sitting in ashadowy corner of theHogwarts's library, with her nose buriedin a romantic novel and a cup of hot chocolate in her hand

Madame Pince had made an exception for her since she was one of her favorite students. Daphne wouldvolunteer during her free time to work and organize the books with Madam Pince, and ever since then the two hadbecome friendly.

It was dark anyway so the library was empty except for her and a few otherswho were studying for their projects.

She wanted to have some quiet time alone, and couldn't have it inthe common room or her room either, both being so full of people and noise.

Her eyes swam over the words on the page and she didn't hear someone approaching.

'A beautiful yet tragic story. Who would have thought that the witch will get burnt by the hands of the man she loved' she muttered to herself.

Daphne wasn't observant of her surroundings when she was in the library. More like she cared less .She gasped when she felt someone's lips on her cheek.

"Harry! We'll be seen!" Daphne said as she turned to see her husband behind her.

"I couldn't help it," he pouted. "How did you know it was me?" he wondered.

"Your perfume," she smiled at him.

She looked left and right, thankfully no one was there but that didn't make her relaxed.

Harry wrapped an arm around her.

"Not here," she hissed and then walked away from him. Harry thought for an instant that Daphne was mad at him for his reckless behavior but all his thoughts were provedwrong as soon asshe turned her head and gestured for him to follow her.

Once she had disappeared into one of the many shelves in the back of the library, Harry couldn't hold his long, frustrated sigh

and hurried through the bookshelves to the Dark Arts section.

"Seriously," she crossed her arms, trying to look strict.

"I apologize," he whispered with puppy eyes.

Daphne wanted to laugh, he was using her trick against her.

"Harry we are not meant to meet tonight," she hissed strictly.

"I know, I know."

She rolled her eyes.

"I couldn't help it. Besides my dad will be curling in his grave if I followed the rule," he argued.

" What does this have anything to do with the Marauders?" she asked him, trying not to laugh.

"It has…it's in my bones," he said proudly withhis nose in the air.

"What shall I do with you, did you use that map to find me? " she tilted her head at him.

"The truth…No, I didn't…I guessed," he eyed her. Daphne was about to say something but Madam Pince's voice near them made her jump,

And asecond voice made Harry jump. It belonged to Hermione.

What was she doing near the Dark Arts section?

She was standingwith the librarian.

behind the shelf where he and Daphne were hiding. Daphne was panicking and Harry felt ill. He interrupted her worriedly.

"Don't worry love," Harry's hand reached for his wand and waved it muttering between his lips, "I've put a notice-me-not charm on us, " he said.

They stayed in silence until they heard the voices fading away.

"Where were we?" he whispered, breaking the ice, wrapping his hands around her waist and pulling her towards him.

"Where were you," she corrected him.

Harry couldn't help but chuckle.

"Since when does the Wonder Boy love hanging around the library?" she teased.

"Since his pretty bride loves to spend all her time here" He teased back

"Bride?" 'His' She arched a brow in a teasing way.

"I'm trying to be romantic here, don't ruin the moment," he chuckled.

"I can see that," she bit her lip, trying not to laugh. When he wanted to be romantic it made him look so cute and adorable and…attractive, she pulled herself away from his grip.

She hummed looking to the left, fingers tangled behind her back. Wanting a clear answer, and Harry knew that.

It came to him easily now to read any gesture of hers.

"I thought that we should spend every spare time together, won't you miss me?" he explained, softly brushing his hair. He would do that each time he felt anxious, moving forward towards her.

Daphne only stepped back humming as her eyes dared to stare away while he was getting closer. She was teasing him, each step felt like it took a lifetime, the butterflies in her stomach started their dance, it's been quite a long time since that feeling hovered over her.

Harry wanted her to look at him.

Unfortunately, a shelf came in her way and stopped her.

There, the two of them were inches apart from each other.

Daphne started to feel the air around them getting heavier. Harry gazed at the cute face she was making and himself, he tried to resist the temptation. Daphne on the other hand was squeezing her hands strongly, waiting for his move.

Their chests were actually touching now and his lips, his perfect, tantalising lips were two inches away. His shirt was unbuttoned and that bare skin of his neck was showing. She wanted it so badly now, it looked even more tempting as he got closer.

The temperature seemed to have risen several degrees since he hadarrived, causing the fiery anticipation that had ignited her stomach to burn hotter. What was happening?

There, their noses touched. If she would tilt her head up her lips could touch his easily; but she found herself resisting the sudden urge to do so.

Harry tried to look away but then his mind meddled 'Fuck the hormones, you two are a couple!'

Her scent was driving him crazy lately, ever since they spent a night together in each other's warmth. Her presence hadbecome a distraction to him, in class, in the hallway or in the Great Hall.

She even surprised him once as he had caught her watching in secret his training with the Quidditch team.

It had takenhim unguarded and he hadfallen off his broom, thankfully without anybroken bones.

They somehow became closer after that night andhe wanted to have her in his arms every night.

It seemed like years before Harry finally captured her lips with his own.

In a flash his lips crashed uponher, and she melted to it, her smell was so good, so sweet, he thought.

He moved his mouth against hers. He moved carefully and slowly as if to memorize how soft they were, memorizing their shape.

Daphne kissed him back and her hands were on his chest, feeling his heart…

Knowing what he had meant by his words, in less than a few days the two will be apart for three longweeks.

The thought itself didn't leave behind a kind echo for them.

She herself was going crazy, how she would manage to spend three weeks away from him?

"And this is your idea?" she teased him, their foreheads touching.

"Ehmm," he admitted.

They both closed their eyes, listening to each other's hearts thumping.

"Don't you like it, princess?" he asked, about to pull away.

Daphne replied with afrustrated 'No!'. She reached up and grabbed him by the collar, intending to button up that gap herself.

Somehow, her hands had dipped under his collar, grabbed him by the neck, and pulled him down to her hungry lips lusting for his touch.

His response was nearly immediate. The arm not balancing her against the shelf wrapped around her waist and yanked her closer to his fantastic chest. Then his lips went into action, pressing hard and demanding against hers, and she became putty in his arms.

There was nothing gentle about this kiss, and she loved it.

Daphne then felt his tongue tracing the outline of her mouth and with a whimper she opened her mouth to Harry's exploration.

Harry was getting better at kissing every time they did this ritual.

And he had opened up to her even since Halloween.

Daphne suddenly became painfully aware of their current position. Harry had her pressed firmly against the bookshelf so she was trapped between the shelf and his body. His left hand around her waist pulling her body against his, his other hand was lifted against the books beside her head,

Harry pushed her into the shelf, his body flush with hers, and kissed her harder demanding more.

His weight was nearly suffocating, but it all felt so fucking good.

One of his hands threaded into her hair, she heard the distant sound of a book dropping to the floor while his other hand kept her pressed firmly against him.

Daphne's whole body tingled as Harry's hot tongue explored every crevice of her mouth. She slid her hands up his arms, across his broad shoulders and up into his messy dark hair, enmeshing her fingers in his tresses.

She looked so delicious under his weight and couldn't stop himself, he wanted her so badly but he wished this feeling to be mutual, for her to look at him and want him willingly.

He gently, but forcefully, pulled her head back by a fistful of hair, exposing her throat to his hungry mouth.

Harry, the boy who hadgotten married to the girl in his arms, scattered hot kisses across the sensitive skin of her neck, before running the tip of his tongue from her collarbone all the way up to the spot behind her earlobe, eliciting another soft moan from her.

She lightly grazed her fingernails over his scalp, causing a throaty growl to escape from him. Pulling his handsome face level with hers, she ravaged his mouth once more with a kiss of her own.

Harry slid his fingers from her soft blond hair and very slowly glided his fingertips down the soft skin of her neck. Feeling her feminine body quiver against his own at the touch, he smirked into the kiss.

Daphne's hands were ona singular mission, not caring for manners or behavior as she started unbuttoning his shirt.

She wasn't doing a very good job of it, fumbling and bumbling and unbuttoning out of order, but with each undone button came a rush of satisfaction.

It was a surprising move from Daphne, Harry thought.

Sirius hadsaid that their marriage will eventually get consumated so there was no shame due to it, buthee hadn't expectedher reaction, not at this moment.

She wanted him too, and it wasn't his own imagination playing tricks on him.

Initially, Harry had felt that Daphne was trying very hard to play the role of the ideal wife.

But over time, he got to know her and didn't even realize when he had started calling her in her truename.

But here in the library!

Daphne wasn't satisfied by the French kisses ,she wanted more and his hot neck was tempting her, beckoning her to kiss and lick it. She had never felt this kind of hunger before. She began to kiss his neck, sucking his pulse lightly,

He smiled, as he closed his eyes and threw his head backwards. It felt so fucking good, he wanted her hands all over his body.

It was intoxicating for Daphne, his skin was so..., she couldn't find the words for the sensation.

Harry traced his fingers down her waist upto her thigh and lifted it up, wrapping around his waist. It made her skirt rise significantly higher up her legs, exposing more of her skin to his touch, and he took advantage of that too, sliding his hands up her thighs.

For a while, it looked as if she was swimming in lava, her lust hovering over her mentally and physically.

She rubbed her thigh against his, which caused his member to twitch and get harder.

His hands instinctively went under the hem of her sweater, his palms caressing the skin of her warm, bare back.

She couldn't hold back her moan and Harry hushed it with his lips.

She was halfway down his shirt when they broke apart again, gasping for air, her lungs burning and his chest heaving. He buried his face in the crook of her neck, as if he needed her physical support. He was panting and his hot breath fanned her skin. One of her hands left his shirt and buried it in his hair.

Harry slowly lifted his head up and her hand fell from his hair to his shoulder. He stared at her, his emerald eyes burning with hard disbelief.

"Rhae" He whispered her name breathlessly.

"You...you...will be away," she trailed off with agony, her fingers shivering. She was afraid to be alone, she had gotten used to his presence and the sessions had become an excuse to spend some time with him.

"Rhae," he said in a low voice, "Come with me."

She shook her head, "I can't," Her voice barely raised, "You know that."

Harry didn't know what to say, not any more.

Daphne lost her balance and her legs gave way. Harry grasped her in time fearing she would slip and break like glass. He slowly lowered them down to sit on the floor.

His arms pulled her protectively close to him and she buried her head into his chest immediately, clinging onto him for dear life. She kept her face buried in his chest, she wouldn't cry but she was afraid of losing him. She was tired, so tired of losing everyone she cared about…

He rested one of his hands on the small of her back, rubbing small circles with his thumb against her sweater. The other hand threaded through her silky hair.

He whispered words of comfort into her ear in an effort to calm her down.

"I won't be truly away," he whispered to her.

She said nothing and clenched her fingers tightly around his shirt into a fist, her nails digging into the fabric .

"Hey, look at me… don't count the days, if you want I can stay here in Hogwarts," he offered gently.

No, she was not selfish enoughto take the holiday spirit away from him, his happiness meant a lot to her, she wouldn't say that.

"Don't be silly, you need some good time too," she smiled, trying to be strong for him.

Harry admired her for putting the needs of others over her own.

He caressed her soft, porcelain cheek, full of was afraid of something and he wanted to protect her. She leaned into his palm and kissed it.

They stayed in that position for some time.

He was only vaguely aware of the sudden silence that filled the library.

After having some comfort they stood in silence and walked to the exit.

"Wait! Y-Your shirt," she said, fighting a blush.

When had she done it? She couldn't remember.

Harry looked at his messy, open shirt and couldn't help but chuckle and fixed his outfit.

"Someone has been very naughty," he purred, and she ran away from him with a reddened face.

"Go ahead, I will bring my book," she pushed at him.

Once she disappeared behind the shelf.

Harry went to open the large doors that led to the rest of Hogwarts corridors. But the knob wouldn't move.

Harry shook it once more and tried the one on the other side. Frustrated, he said, " It's locked."

"What? Let me try!" Daphne's voice came from behind him.

Daphne repeated Harry's motions to no avail.

Harry had now pulled out his wand.

"Alohomora."

The pair heard a clicking noise but when Daphne went for the doorknobs again, they refused to budge.

"What? We can't be locked in. Madam Pince knew I was in here!"

Even after a few more tries the doors refused to open.

Daphne let a loud groan and rolled her sleeves up to her elbows and clenched her fists.

"Rhae! What are you–," Harry didn't finish his sentence, realizing what she was up to.

He stepped between her and the door, waving his hands.

"Oi, are you mad, or a fool?" he said, trying not to laugh at her gesture.

"I'm gonna break it obviously," she answered innocently.

"Calm down tigress," he patted her shoulders chuckling.

He pulled her to a chair next to a window and made her sit.

It was night and the library was dark. Thankfully it wasn't clouded so the moon was lighting the room.

He looked around, "I will call the elves to get us out of here," he explained,

"Don't bother them…," she waved her hand, annoyed, the elves needed some relaxing time as well.

He sat across her at the table, while she rested her head on her palm closing her eyes.

She wanted to say something but her embarrassment took over. She heard him opening a book so she opened her eyes to see and was shocked.

He opened her novel. She jumped over from her seat to grasp the book but Harry was quick enough and managed to hold her wrist.

"Tut, tut, what is my princess embarrassed of? It's not an erotic novel is it?" he smirked.

Her face turned red.

"Of course not, it's a romantic novel, not by a famous author of course," she explained taking the book from his hold.

"Amuse me," he requested, raising a brow.

"Fine," she sighed.

"It's an old story, from the medieval era, during the great hunt," she started summarizing it for him.

"–the witch fell blindly in love with the muggle man. Unfortunately the man preferred his religion over his love and arrested her for witchcraft and burned her alive," she finished.

"Why are you reading this?" he asked, a bit disgusted from the story.

"Well, because it's based on a real story, the great hunt killed over thousands of women, some say millions, for witchcraft. Did you hear about the famous muggle book "Malleus Maleficarum?"

"The hammer of witches," he translated.

"You know it?" she said in amazement.

"My dear, I didn't sleep in the history class as everyone thinks," he chuckled.

"Anyway, that book isn't just a book, this is infamous information but the book was created by a warlock in fact," she eyed him carefully.

"I thought the men of church had done it."

"Tsk, a warlock, but he got arrested for his crime against his kind and was the first to have the name of blood-traitor. There is no need to tell what was his punishment, it wasn't pretty," she finished.

"I was curious about that era once." The two kept on talking for a while about the history of magic, when Daphne couldn't hold her curiosity.

"Where are you going to spend the winter break, with your godfather?" she asked.

"It's not settled yet, but I want to spend time with him, being around him makes me feel that I haven't lost my parents. Besides he doesn't see me like dad, not anymore". He said the last part in a low tone. Harry never spoke to anyone about that except for Daphne.

Sirius often confused Harry with his late best friend and the latter's dad, James Potter. It irritated Harry at times but the feeling was slowly fading over time.

Sure Harry resembled his father so much that it was almost creepy. It also made him proud, at least he had something in common with James.

" I doubt that Prongs was like you," she teased, boycotting his thoughts.

Harry laughed at that, "What makes you think that?"

"I just know," she shrugged, standing up and moving toward him.

The moonlight was reflecting on her face, which made her look like an angel.

She closed the distance between them and sat on his lap.

Harry tried not to get excited.

Daphne gave him a warm smile and leaned to his ear, "You are who you are, and I like you for that," she whispered.

She turned to him and gazed down at him.

The moonlight made his eyes shine more like emeralds.

"Do you like me?" she whispered, tilting her head innocently.

Harry couldn't hold back his grin.

"More than you think," he whispered back.

"But I want to hear it from you," she pouted dramatically.

He leaned to her ear, " I like you so much, Mrs Potter, never doubt my affection for you," Once he said those words, he felt they weren'tenough.

She cupped his cheek and stole a soft kiss from him.

She parted away looking at him.

"Before this summer, I would have never considered myself lucky…," he grinned and with that he kissed her palm and wrist.

"Tomorrow, it will be my last DA meeting before the break," he paused for a brief moment looking at her hand.

She was breathing hard, she felt that his next words would send her to cloud nine.

He took a breath, "After it ends, let's spend it together, let's give each other something…, " he gulped.

"Something will keep us holding onto each other until we reunite." His words held a promise.

'We will be together again, I promise' she remembered Eros's last words.

She shook her head in denial, she preferred to be strong this time too. She smiled as much as she was able to, "Don't make me a promise, it's too much for me."

"Not a promise," he winked, trying to cheer her up.

By morning Madam Pince found them sleeping, and she woke them up yelling, Daphne kept apologizing while Harry shrugged at the old lady.

"Potter was helping me find a book. When we returned we found the door locked, you know me Madam Pince, I would never lie," Daphne made an excuse.

"I somehow made a mistake and didn't see you two here," Madam Pince massaged her temple.

"Very well, Miss Greengrass, I will overlook this time. As for you Mr. Potter, I am warning you for the last time," she said looking at Harry who shrugged again.

Daphne hit him with her elbow indicating that he should apologize.

Harry managed to sneak away, he didn't care for his reputation with the librarian but Daphne did.

The two house-elves Dobby and Winkey were watching the scene from behind a shelf and let out sighs.

"Winkey! , we shouldn't do that. They were reprimanded and embarrassed by the lady because of us, what will Master Harry and the mistress say to us? Shame, shame on us," Dobby whispered, shivering with guilt and tears in his eyes.

Winkey rolled her eyes and slapped him to pull himself together.

"They won't know if we don't tell them, don't you see for yourself? The master and the lady are very happy together, they deserve it because of their kind treatment of us, we must help and protect them even if they do not ask for it. Wouldn't you like to see them together?" Winkey answered.

"Of course I want to! Harry Potter Sir deserves all happiness, but are you drunk, you are talking out of habit," Dobby asked.

Winkey flushed, "Of course not, after Mistress Daphne told me not to drink, I haven't had a sip of the drink since then," she said proudly.

Harry was in a dilemma about where he could spend Christmas that year. Daphne would spend it with the Greengrasses, Hermione would go to the mountains with her family, and Ron would go to the Burrow. He wondered if Dumbledore would let him go to Grimmauld Place. He was about to ask Dumbledore if he could let him stay with Sirius but before he could Ron came first and asked him to come and spend it at the burrow. He wanted to decline it badly and spend time with Sirius but Ron said Molly was eager to have him that year.

Harry arrived early in the Room of Requirement for the last meeting before the holidays and was very glad he had.

Dobby had taken it upon him to decorate the room for Christmas. He could tell the elf had done it, he had taken to cleaning all of Harry's clothes and would bring him his food and snacks that Daphne listed to him.

The door creaked open and Luna Lovegood entered, looking dreamy as always.

"Hello," she said vaguely, looking around at the decorations. "These are nice, did you put them up?"

"No," said Harry, "It was Dobby, the house-elf."

The rest of the group joined soon and started their usual rituals

"If we continue at this pace, you will be able to cast a Patronus sooner than you think. " Harry encouraged his team.

Meanwhile as Harry was speaking Marietta kept her entire focus on Hermione, waiting for the right moment she could get closer to her notebook on the corner and take what was inside.

Marietta made sure no one noticed her, she leaned closer to Neville from behind and casted bluebell flames on Neville's trousers causing a scene.

While everyone was distracted, Marietta went to the corner and took the notebook, searching for the parchment until she found it. She took it and hid it under her sleeve, returning to her place next to Cho Chang, hardly breathing, her heart almost jumping off its place from fear and panic.

Everyone wished Harry a Merry Christmas and left. Ron and Hermione had left

Before he did, he had hung back a little, because there were still some maps, duelling strategies and scrolls around which needed to be organized. He needed to finish it as soon as possible and have a quick shower and prepare himself for the night with Daphne. He already missed her delicious lips on his, after last night he realised that the two of them were about to jump to the next level of their relationship.

He wondered what kind of gift he should give her for Christmas, he wanted to order something for her. Daphne was not into material things, she liked mostly art.

Busy in his world he didn't notice the presence of Cho, who was still there shoving off her friend Marietta.

"Alright...I'm done!" He said joyfully. He finished packing all his stuff and parchments in his school bag and attempted to leave.

He turned and saw Cho standing in the middle of the room, tears pouring down her face.

"Wha — ?"

He didn't know what to do. She was simply standing there, crying silently.

"Cho? Merlin are you alright?" he asked feebly.

She shook her head and wiped her eyes on her sleeve, "I'm sorry," she said thickly, "I suppose , it's just...learning all this

stuff...makes me...what if he was still alive."

Harry backed up a bit, it had been a while since he had thought of Cedric, the poor boy.

"Cho, Cedric was a really good fighter but Voldemort was stronger, he didn't stand a chance."

Meanwhile Daphne was confused about what kind of clothes she should wear, feeling that the night wouldn't be just for cuddling or a make out session.

Her mind wandered to Harry, she picked her finest dress and wore her sexy Italian undergarments that Eva had sent as a wedding gift.

On her way out she looked to the leathered book on her bedside table.

Madam Pince called out her name, when she was about to leave after the embarrassing scene with the librarian.

"Do you need me, Madam Pince?" Daphne asked the librarian politely.

"Not this time dear," she said smiling at the girl.

Pince returned with a wrapped book in her hands and gave it to Daphne.

"Madam Pince what is this? " Daphne asked, her eyes glowing.

"The manuscript you gave me days ago, and yes I leathered it for you to look more like a book. Merry Christmas, Daphne " she handed it to her with a smile on her face.

Daphne was ecstatic, "Madam Pince I don't know what to say, thank you so much." Daphne thanked her and went to hug her, which surprised the woman, this wasn't usually how Daphne Greengrass acted. She wished her a good time during the break and left with joy filling her soul .

Walking along the corridors, she thought to herself, 'this will make Harry so happy. ' she thought to herself, hugging the book to her chest .

He wanted this book badly, she was sure he would spin her in the air for that.

Should she wait andgive it to him tomorrow or go to him right now? His meeting with the DA should have ended half an hour ago. She held the book to her chest and ran giggling to the Room of Requirement to meet her husband.

Back in the Room of Requirements Harry was trying to comfort Cho.

"You survived as a child Harry."

"Yeah, well," said Harry wearily, moving towards the door, "I dunno why, nor does anyone else, so it's nothing to be proud of." He said looking uncomfortable, maybe it had been wrong trying to comfort her in the first place.

"Oh don't go!" said Cho, sounding tearful again, "I'm really sorry..I didn't mean to,"

she apologized.

"I know it must be horrible for you," she said, "reminding you of that night. You want to forget about it and I just make it worse by reminding you, I'm sorry," Harry did not say anything to this.

"You're a r-really good teacher, you know," said Cho, with a watery smile, "I've never been able to stun anyone before."

"It's my duty ..to help, "said Harry awkwardly. Harry wanted to leave immediately but she blocked his way out.

"Mistletoe," said Cho quietly, pointing at the ceiling over his head.

"What?" said Harry. Now Harry felt really trapped and he knew he should leave.

Cho made a funny noise halfway between a sob and a laugh. She was even nearer to him now, "I really like you, Harry."

Harry lifted his hands up trying to stop her knowing what she was about to do.

" C-Cho, you are a nice girl, I lik–," before he could finish his sentence Cho crushed her lips on his. He tried to fight her but she just kept pushing putting all her feelings on the kiss. Harry could feel the tears on her cheeks, and tasted her lips. Sweet, but not as sweet as Rhaenys's lips, wait Rhaenys!

Before he could pull out he heard the sound of a door opening and something thick hitting the floor. When he turned to see, he saw nothing but something wrapped on the doorway.

He pushed Cho and ran to it, to find a leather covered book on the floor. He grasped it and found it was The Adventure Book of Lucy's, the book Rhaenys had told him to read. Harry panicked and ran as fast as he could after her, he still couldn't see her which meant she was running.

"Come on Rhae!" he pleaded, wishing he was dead.

He took the Marauder's map out of his pocket and when he saw her name popped up in the map he ran straight to where she had gone.

To the Forbidden forest…

Daphne didn't know what to do or why was she running in the first place, or why was she even crying…

She had just witnessed Harry, her husband and boyfriend and friend, her Harry snogging a girl in the Room of Requirement. And not just any girl, Cho Chang that bitch of course. She would try to reach his boxers, she had known the moment she heard her in the library. She was so angry and sad.

Why was she sad? She didn't love him, did she? Then why was she jealous of seeing him with another girl?

Of course he would sleep with someone else if he didn't have his way with her…he was nothing buta manjustliketheothers.. If they couldn't reach her knickers then she was useless to them…

But wasn't he the one who had said it was early for that, she lusted for him.

Did he trick her into falling for him, just so that she could be of good use as a wife and a power resource?

The thought itself paralyzed her feet and she fell on her knees.

Not minding the cold and snow she cried, she made a vow to herself to never end up falling in love just like her mother. Her mother's love for her father was the reason she died in the first place, the reason she got weaker.

She was not her mom, she would make sure not to love him, she liked him very much, liked his company and his kindness , she liked everything in him, this was because of those stupid butterflies in her stomach.

'Please God, please, don't make me fall in love, please, " she prayed looking up to the dark sky. she had known him for a few months now, she had let him know everything about her and he did the same. She had started to think of him like her true savior more than once. She admired him for his good ways with her,how he thinks of her comfort, how he never rejected anything she demanded or wanted , how he could feel and knew when she wasn't okey… like or love or lust she didn't know what she felt toward him but now all she feel is kind of betrayed and hurt

She sobbed harder. Why did this happen to her always?Every time she thought things were alright something ends up hurting her.. Why her, was she that unfortunate? She had only asked for trust, he could have simply told her of his relationship, she would have understood.

Now she had found out in a pathetic way and felt humiliated herself.

She didn't feel his presence until he grasped her shoulder yelling her real name. She sharply turned at him.

"Don't you dare call me by my name, you don't deserve even to whisper it," she snapped, pushing him away fiercely.

Harry for the first time was afraid by Daphne's expression, not just afraid but hurt. She looked as if she was dying.

"Rhaenys, you misunderstood it's not what it looks l–,"

"You are still calling me by that name. Stop it!" she yelled pushing him again .

"Misunderstood? You were completely enjoying it when her tongue was reaching downyour throat," she said trying to pull herself together and not look weak.

Harry couldn't say a word at her hurt voice.

"How silly I am, this is stupid so stupid," she was potying herself.

"Rhaenys, allow me to speak, " he said waving the book she had left at the door of the room in the air.

She turned away angrily and took that book from his hands and threw it harshly at him.

" Ouch, what the hell!" he said, rubbing his hurt arm.

"Leave me alone!"

"No!" he snapped back, "Is it a hobby of yours to throw books at people!"

"Yeah, new thing to know about me isn't it?" she said sarcastically. Harry straightened himself to talk.

"You could at least be professional and tell me you are seeing someone, I would understand…how could I have been that blind, of course you can't get over her… I should have known when you told me she joined your shitty army," she turned away from him walking into the darkness of the forest. Harry followed her.

"She forced herself on me, I was just trying to comfort her and she jumped on me, I swear! " he explained to her but she didn't even answer him and kept walking, hugging herself. Thankfully she was wearing her winter fur cloak which kept the cold at bay,

while she noticed Harry was wearing just his school uniform without the cloak. Probably he was shivering from the cold, he deserved it.

"I was wondering if it were only a few minutes late, would I have seen more than snogging, " she said scratching her chin and moving to the deep of the forest.

"Rhaenys, please," he reached her shoulder and spun her around to face him.

She pointed her finger at him to stop.

"What do you take me for, do you think this is a game or what?" she said with deadly eyes.

He took her hand in his cold ones and put it over his heart.

They stared at each other but Daphne's eyes were burning with anger.

"Do you really think of me that low, weren't you the one who told me to trust you, I did, didn't you trust me too?"

She shook her hand away and crossed her arms to listen to what he wanted to say.

" I did, I was stupid to believe you. No! Believe in you, I thought you were different...from everyone I know… I tried to you know, I wanted it to be your, your perfect wife, perfect one," she said with agony filling her soul.

"If I truly would cheat, I would see this whole relationship between you and me nothing but a game and business. But I really want us to be together, you may think it's stupid or hilarious, but no one in the whole world can replace you, you are like my Goddess, one touch of yours turns all my pains away you make me laugh and happy in these horrible times, you showed me things I never knew, like what real happiness looks like, you saw and witnessed my struggles you heard my complaints. Damn it, I don't think I can live a day without you anymore, if I truly don't trust you why would I tell you anything. I don't think I can trust anyone but you," he said getting closer to her. She moved back letting out a chuckle.

"Have you forgotten whom you're speaking to? These simple words won't justify anything I saw with my two living eyes," she was trying to remain calm

He took her hands again and kissed them.

"Don't put your lips while they still taste of her ," she pulled away but he kept holding them.

Harry let a groan and knelt down taking a mouthful of snow into his mouth.

"What are you doing?"

"Wahsun man math," she narrowed her eyes. He spit out the snow and stood up.

"I hated those lips and got disgusted by them just like you, I don't think I will ever want others on mine except yours…,"

"If you think for one second that these words will make me forgive you, you're wrong.. I'm not some stupid diary girl who seeks to hear this. The thing I hate most in the world that I could kill for is treason, and you betrayed me," she told him in a cold tone full of dangerous threats.

Harry's breath became heavier in this whole situation he was put in.

She clapped her hands, "Bravo, Bravo! I must say I'm impressed actually, that you managed to trick me easily , with those sweet words and hugs and kisses." She paused smiling at the boy in front of her.

While Harry never in his entire life had heard someone talk to him this way, the way she talked to him was far worse than the assaults of Snape and even the Dursleys, before Harry could say anything she walked besides him and leaned to him whispering in his ear.

"And I thought Gryffindors were loyal. Turns out I was wrong, the hat was right, Slytherin suits you," she said in disgust, leaving Harry stunned and speechless. He rubbed his messy hair then turned to her, grasping her by her wrist, and in a flash, swiped her around to face his red, angry face.

" For fuck's sake! You weren't there and you're blaming me for it all!" he snapped angry having had enough of her accusations.

"Don't snap at me, put yourself in my shoes I was about to give myself to you tonight! " She fought back, defending herself.

Giving her virginity to Harry was a great deal to her, not just on emotional level or their relationship but for joining her own blood with him.

Virginity of Vasillians's maidens was a price and a goal men had sought for thousands of years.

He was going to have a royal blood in him.

He pushed her to the nearest tree, his lips crushing against hers.

She tried to fight him but he kept crushing her lips. She bit his lower lip until it bled but he insisted on kissing her.

Harry kissed her fiercely, pulling everything he's been keeping in since Halloween out. She occupied his mind and thinking, fierce in her own way, elegant and gentle, funny and full of joy, everything beneath the Slytherin armour. Their meetings three days a week became everything he lived for, seeing her around everyone, around Zabini or Nott or...Malfoy made him want to go to her and kiss her in front of everyone and make sure the whole world knew she was his and only his. When he saw her with Malfoy in the Forbidden Forest walking with her, Harry had felt such huge rage rising in him that he wanted to curse him into oblivion.

He had felt jealousy, and now he thought he should release it. To think he won't meet with her for the next three weeks, God help him in passing it normally. She was his haven and comfort zone without her, he would snap at everyone.

"No!" she pushed him away before she did something she would regret.

Dark clouds formed and hovered over her mind, like smudge making her vision blur.

The snow around her started flowing willingly, she didn't have to murmur a spell or wave a wand to let the snow around her attack Harry.

Harry was surprised by the attack against him and he quickly pointed his wand to shield himself,

"Protego," he yelled.

"Daphne!?...Rhaenys!" He roared at her,

Harry's voice filled her ears and Daphne was suddenly hit by realisation of what she had done.

'Oh No! , what have I done!? '

She looked back forward between Harry and her hands, Her hands had started shaking from her own actions, she had attacked him, using her own powers.

'Not again! She closed her eyes firmly .

'Don't lose control, Rhaenys, focus' she calmed herself, body and mind.

Slowly the flowing snow around started to fall back to the ground.

And Harry looked carefully around if it was safe to draw back his wand. He turned to her with an expression, the expression she feared one day to see in him.

Fear, shock, disbelief…

She wanted to apologize, she wanted to beg and kneel for forgiveness.

'Brother, help me! ' she prayed closing her eyes firmly stepping back , wrapping her arms around herself in a protective way.

"I-I," she stuttered unable to talk,

Harry took her face between his rough cold hands and turned her focus to him.

He was angry but confused.

"I-I I didn't mean to, I didn't mean to," she sobbed shivering and he pulled her head to his chest.

"I didn't mean to," she kept saying, shattered as if she was the one who got attacked and not Harry.

Harry said nothing, but kept her face buried in his chest.

She pulled herself away from him, she needed to go back to her dorm, she needed her medicines immediately.

"Rhae…, " he called after her.

"Don't… Please…," she said walking away, pulling herself together.

"That oath we took at the church is real to me too," he yelled .

'I'm yours from this day to the end of my days'

She recalled those words. And felt herself betraying him.

"Do you truly know, what does it mean? " she asked, turning to him, her eyes red with tears.

"It means that I will never be with someone else but you and only you and so are you to me," he answered, his gaze on her.

"I will pretend this didn't happen at all, get it Mrs. Potter?" he said looking around at the mess then turning to face her.

She said nothing.

"On one condition," she finally replied.

"Which is? "

"Don't ever fall in love " she said sharply

This shocked him, surprised him. "With you? "

'not with me and not with anyone else' she backed up from saying it.

"Love is for the weak, a lie men created to manipulate women," she said instead sharply with a smirk of pity.

"We were stupid, and we blinded ourselves from the truth: this marriage is nothing but a contract for the safety of the two of us from death, nothing more, you wanna play and screw around for all I care, just don't forget what I said "she said coolly. In her mind, she wished that her marriage had been real. She was wrong, she had fooled herself and got distracted from her mission.

" Enjoy the holidays, my Lord husband," she said bowing her head and left without waiting for a reply from Harry.

Returning to her dorm she found no one in the room except herself and the blazing fire from the fireplace. The girls are pretty busy in the final days with their lovers before the winter break.

She laid gently on the bed and let out a sigh, looking into the ceiling, into La mirage.

She couldn't sleep, the previous scenes kept repeating in her mind.

She had let her sentiments take over her, she got distracted, she was harsh with him but she couldn't let go easily. She felttornbetween her feelings and her duty.

She felt humiliated and betrayed, she was not her mother.

"I'm not her," she whispered with a shaking voice to herself as a tear ran down her cheek.

This was all her brother's mistake, he did that to her.

She never wanted any of this, he had insisted on that.

She preferred death than running like a coward from it. But her mind kept drifting to the messy haired boy, who looked hurted by her words, she hurted him even knowing deep down that he was innocent, she had been unfair with him, but it was the only way to show that there was no place for mistakes and treason.

"I'm sorry," she apologized and opened her bedside table.

The gentle boy in you must learn.

That was what Daphne thought as she let a pill pass through her lips and run down her throat. She laid back looking at the mirage, remembering every meeting between them in the last three months, every fight and make up, laughter and tears, every hug and kiss.

She felt safe around him, her real self.

She didn't realize even that her body was getting heavier by the effect of her medicine until she fell into a deep sleep.

On the other side Harry was walking to the Gryffindor tower depressed, holding the book she had intended to give him.

This was their first true fight the two ever had beside that time in the library months ago.

He didn't understand how things turned pretty ugly, it was all because of Cho, he was angry not at the girl but at himself. Daphne was right, he didn't stop himself from kissing the Ravenclaw girl who had been his first crush.

He had betrayed her trust. The only thing she ever asked him for and he broke it.

What Rhaenys had said was all true. Every single word.

Once he reached the common room Ron and Hermione immediately assaulted him with questions, questions he couldn't answer.

"Harry, what did Cho want from you? " Ron asked.

"Shut up Ronald! It's pretty obvious, did you two kiss? " Hermione blurted out while Ron let out a groan of disgust.

Harry sighed tiredly from all of this, he couldn't handle it, or them right now.

"Hey! I'm tired, we will talk tomorrow, good night," he breathed with weariness and went up to his room.

He changed out of his clothes into his pyjamas and laid on his bed thinking of her.

"Love is for the weak, a lie men created to manipulate women"

He shut his eyes fiercely and his jaw clenched, how could this have happened they were perfectly fine.. He even told her despite being unsure that he had fallen in love with her, she was his haven.

He rolled and buried his face under the pillow.

"We were stupid, and we blinded ourselves from the truth: this marriage is nothing but a contract for the safety of the two of us from death, nothing more"

She drew a line between them, he couldn't let this happen, by tomorrow he will talk with her even if it took him to go to her dorm down the dungeons, he will.

Once he fell asleep, the nightmares found their way back to his dreams. this one was worst than the last one, this time he didn't torture but kill, and as he was attacking the victim, it felt as if it was his own doing, the victim turned his head to face him and Harry woke up screaming and sweat covering him.

In fear he turned around to see Neville and Ron as well as his other roommates staring at him with identicalshocked expressions on their faces. Ron had been trying to wake him up for ages apparently.

"R-Ron y-your dad… he's been attacked," he said with hard breathing, barely able to raise his voice, more like he couldn't talk but kept fighting the horrible dread which was filling his core.

Harry didn't know how long it took to get to the headmaster's office.

Professor McGonagall took him as fast as she could to Dumbledore.

The stone gargoyle guarding the entrance to Dumbledore's office blocked his path.

"Fizzing Whizbee," said Professor McGonagall in a hurry.

The gargoyle leapt aside and stairs appeared, Harry didn't know how his feet moved, all he knew was that in a second he was inside the headmaster's office. He told the headmaster everything he saw and witnessed.

Harry never saw nor felt the dark sensation filling the air, as though a dark cloud brought a storm with it. He hadn't seen the headmaster in ages, since school had started in fact, waiting for the man's explanation.

Dumbledore sent an alarm to his spies at the ministry to find Arthur Weasley before the wrong side did, and a word to Molly and Bill also. Waiting for a reply Harry sank to the chair. Ron brought his siblings with fear, his face was pale like a ghost.

The twins were trying their best to look strong for their younger siblings, and Ginny sat shivering in the chair.

He didn't know whom to talk to first,

Professor Dumbledore was sitting in his high-backed headmaster's chair, with a still serious face.

Professor Snape entered and Hermione right behind him, and went straight to Ginny to comfort her.

He heard Ginny say in a low voice.

"Please God, don't take him, please "

He felt his mouth dry and his skin out of color.

"R-Ron?" He asked, approaching his best mate.

Ron turned to him with an expression Harry never saw before, a hopeless face.

Harry had never felt more useless in his entire life like this time, he gave Ron a brotherly hug. "Everything is gonna be alright," he whispered to his mate's ear.

Dumbledore sent a warning with his Phoenix to all the members of the order.

Harry turned his full attention on the old warlock. When a reply came through a portrait everyone's attention was on him, listening with heavy hearts.

"Our ministry spies found a body but they don't think it belongs to Arthur, they couldn't recognize the body, they managed to take it to a healer in –"Dumbledore paused from his very serious tone and looked at the red-headed siblings with sadness filling his eyes.

"–Bill and Molly are about to go to check the body in , we're hoping it's not Arthur's," he finished gravely.

Harry was speechless, as he heard Ginny sink in her chair burying her head between her hands and Hermione trying to comfort her.

"Is he alive?" he asked, finding his voice, hoping it had not been too late.

"Let's hope he is," Dumbledore responded as if he could read his mind.

Which made Harry want to ask more. But his friend's painful situation stopped him, instead he walked to Ron and tried to be the good friend he could be.
