(A/N: his one is from my first attempt at a Kamen Rider Amazons adaptation I had worked on with a friend. We each worked on it an equal amount but as we got more into it, he was overall more knowledgable on the source material than me. The reason this one is going back to the drawing board is because of the criticism we got that it was TOO CLOSE to said source material and not going our own direction with it; which, I reluctantly agree we could have been more creative with in the writing process and do more of our own thing. But, of course, I will try to fix these issues in the revision. But, here is the first attempt of the first chapter. Episode 1 - AMAZONZ

Blood. Spiderwebs. Everywhere. All in an empty, seemingly deserted room. That is, until four people wearing military gear entered the room. "Aw, fuck." one of the men said in disgust. "Drake, remind me what we're hunting again?" Another man asked.

"Subject S-258. It's a rank D," the soldier named Drake replied, holding up his tablet showing an image of a grotesque spider-like monster wearing a silver armlet with red eyes.

"Shut up. We have to keep this mission secret," a female voice said. "And we're damn lucky that we have a con man." One of the soldiers pointed towards a man outside the building, also wearing similar gear and chatting with an elderly woman.

"Sorry, ma'am. We've uh, temporarily closed this building for some extermination business."

"Oh, that's nice of you, dearie. Helping out is always a good choice."

"Never mind him. We- Ugh, I think I found our target." One of the extermination squad members picked up a silver armlet from a puddle of black goo. It had a metallic "face" with red eyes and had spikes on the inside.

"Geez, it's such glutton." Another said, looking at the brutal scenery.

"Its snacks are everywhere," another added, looking at the dismembered body parts.

"Drake, the signal leads here. Which means…"

"HUNTER! BEHIND YOU!" Drake shouted, looking at a monster which looks exactly like the one shown in his tablet. It let out a screech, and swiped one of its claws at Hunter.

"Son of a bitch!" Hunter shouted, dodging the Spider Amazon's swipe, countering with some shots from his rifle. The rest of the team members joined in, one wielding a knife and the other wielding a shotgun. Judging from their battle cries, the knife-wielding extermination squad member was the woman who mentioned the con man.

"It's a just rank D, and we're still getting our asses kicked! This is pathetic." She said. Her name was Jo, and she was fighting with her teammate Luke. They were a part of the Nozama Peston Service, an elite force dedicated to killing genetically altered monsters known as Amazons. Meanwhile, a young Japanese man also in the Nozama Peston Service, along with the same "con man" from earlier, arrived at the area where the battle was happening.

"I can't do it if the whole team is here!"

"You have to! Kick its ugly ass, Mamoru!"

"Ok… aaaaARRRRRRGGGHHH!"

As Mamoru screamed in rage, steam billowed out from his body. A burst of yellow and red flames covered him, sending out a massive heat wave. When the flames dissipated, an armored mole-like monster stood in his place. Like the Spider Amazon, it wore an armlet, but the eyes were blue. The transformed Mamoru roared in anger, and rushed at the Spider Amazon, slashing at the Spider Amazon. Then after the Spider Amazon was weakened, Mamoru ripped out the monster's heart, putting an end to its rampage.

Mamoru then let out a breath as he returned to his normal form. The rest of the team joining him as they saw that the target was now dead. "You've done good, Mamoru." Hunter smiled, and pat his teammate on the back.

The team then left the premises as the leader of the squad contacted his superiors and informed them, "Target has been terminated. Bring in a clean up team." The group then got into a large trailer and silver truck with the blue and green company logo on the side. As Hunter went into the driver's seat, the team left and made their way back to HQ to report in their mission.

Unbeknownst to them, a man riding a motorbike rode near the trailer, and threw what looked like a small black cube at the van. He then rode off without saying a word.

Meanwhile, on the other side of town, a young girl was walking home, holding an umbrella as it was raining. Getting to a building, she quickly got inside and walked up the stairs.

"Riley, I'm home!" A teenage girl walked into her apartment. Her name was Anna Hall, and she had just arrived from school.

"Welcome back, sis!" a friendly voice greeted Anna. The voice belonged to her brother Riley. He was an amnesiac, and didn't remember what the hell happened to him in the last two years. He was currently over by the kitchen having something to eat and some vials of medication on the side. "How was school?" He asked his sister with a smile on his face.

"School was fine, I guess," Anna responded with a somber look. She was bullied a lot at school, and Riley was the only friend she had.

"What's wrong, did anyone hurt you?" Riley asked.

She could tell that he was concerned as she replied, "No."

"I know something that can cheer you up! Do you want to see my fish tank?" Riley asked cheerfully.

She nodded in agreeance as they headed upstairs, to Riley's tank of tropical fish.

"Isn't it a little cramped?"

"There aren't any rules to how it should look. It's like a whole world to these little guys." Riley looked at his aquarium, looking at all the brightly colored fish. "It's beautiful."

"Riley, don't you ever want to leave? I know Mom's very strict with you, and you're not in the best condition… but you've been locked in here a bit too much."

"Huh. Well, don't worry about it. I'm really grateful for your mom letting me stay in this room. It's kind of like my own apartment."

"That's very generous of y-"

"Anna. What are you doing here?" A third person entered the room. "Mother, I was just-" Anna tried to respond, but was cut off by her mother's stern command, "Get changed immediately, young lady!"

Looking down, she replied, "yes mother." She then left the room as Riley watched her leave.

"As for you, we have a medical appointment scheduled later today. We have to get your medicine refilled," the woman told her son.

"Mom, I don't like having to take my medication. It gives me nightmares every time I take it." Riley said, only for his mother to reply:

"You have to take them whether you like it or not." After she had the conversation with her son, she left the room. "I know you don't like it but it's for your own good."

"Mother? What happened to me two years ago?" Riley asked.

"That is none of your business. I have to go to work now. I'll come pick you up later." The woman answered as she turned around. Before she left, she told her son. "No matter what was in the past. You will still always be my son." She then left the young boy alone, in isolation.

Riley looked at his vial of medicine, and observed the logo on the amouple. "I don't like having to take it… if I do, that thing appears…" Riley remembered a green lizard-like monster held in a cage, chained up and snarling.

After having terminated one of their targets, the team headed back to headquarters to report what had happened. The van driving downtown to a large black and grey building whose logo labeled "the Norzama Pharmacy." From the outside, there definitely some guards protecting the building and were definitely more of them, inside. As the van pulled up to the main entrance, they stopped once they got up to the garage needing authorization to enter.

As Hunter opened the window on his side, the guard asked, "Identification."

"Hunter Vasquez, squad team A. Amazon control, code number 55432." He replied. After making some checks, the guard informed them, you are free to enter. Hunter then waited for the guard to back away and open the gate before going on inside. After parking, the team went on inside to report a mission's success.

In one of the offices with dark walls and a brown desk, a woman was working on some paperwork before hearing a ring coming from her desk phone. The person coming through announcing, "Mrs. Hall, the team has returned as you requested."

"Send them in." She replied.

As the door opened, Mamoru, Drake, Hunter and the others stepped into the room. She then put down her pen and looked at them as she said, "so, I take it everything went well?"

"Well if by making a mess and not able to stop it from killing, then yes." William elaborated.

She didn't mind his attitude as Mrs. Hall simply said, "the cleanup team should be heading there now. You're all dismissed until you get assigned a new target."

"Really, that's it?" Drake asked.

"Don't question the person who pays you." Hunter sarcastically pointed out.

"You all acted accordingly and admirably but from the security footage, you could have ended that a lot quicker, you're fighting and teamwork was sloppy. So I wouldn't expect a thank you." Mrs. Hall informed all of them. "We brought you all together to wipe out the Amazons so do your job and do it right."

"Yes ma'am." They all replied. Mrs. Hall then told them, "good, now if you'll excuse me, I have some business to attend to so please get out of my office."

The team then left the room and went to do their own thing for the time being.

While outside, a man on a motorbike had been following the bike and saw where the van was going. Looking at the building and recognizing the logo, the man tisked and thought to himself, "Of fucking course, though I can still use this. For now, I guess I got some time to kill." He then revved up the bike and drove off on the city streets.

Back in the Hall home apartment, Anna was asleep over in her room while Riley saw his little sister peacefully sleeping from the door. He felt uneasy and needed some time out, refusing to take his meds, not wanting to see the lizard-monster in his sleep again. And so, Riley decided to go outside, leaving the apartment.

Though as he began walking, he began to feel weird and began to hear something attracting him as it felt as if he was walking without thinking or not fully in control of his own movements or mindset.

Later that night, the team decided to use their time off to go to a local bar downtown in the city. Hunter, Drake, William and Jo having their filling of drinks and getting drunk while Luke and Dave decided to hold back but still was there with them. Slamming down her drink on the table, David seemed blissfully happy and giggling as he said, "alright another round for the crew on my tab."

"Jesus Christ, it really doesn't take much to get you drunk." Jo noticed taking a sip of her beer.

"Don't mind it now cause sometimes he can turn into a colossal dick with the morning hangover." William said.

The group then continued as Luke noticed that Mamoru seemed lost in thought. "What's on your mind?" He asked.

"It's nothing, it's just I was thinking about our job."

"What about it?" Dave asked.

"I know the Amazons are evil but being one of them, it still seems wrong." He brought.

"Might want to keep it down kid or else the entire bar will hear it." William said overhearing them. "Our job is our job, orders are orders. Right or wrong, we still have to do it."

Mamoru then nodded and said, "okay."

Standing up, smiling and laughing, Drake announced, "alright enough of the beers, let's move onto shots."

"Yeah, no." Jo replied. "You've had enough."

"Plus none of us wants to clean up your puke out of the van. Plus we still have

"Oh come on, just a couple of shots." Drake pleaded.

"No!" Both William, Hunter, and Jo replied loudly.

In a building in the city, a woman was on the roof and smoking a cigarette, just enjoying the view as she looked over the city, she seemed to be waiting for someone to get there as she had a bit of a straight look on her face. Then, she could hear the sound of the door unlocked and someone on coming in. "Hey honey I'm home." A loud and sarcastic voice announced as someone was walking out.

She didn't turn to him as she simply replied, "you're late and you forgot something."

With a grin, the man said, "Oh yeah, and what would that be Claire?"

"Don't be a dumbass Lance."

He had a grin on his face as he walked over to her and turned the woman around, snatching the cigarette out of her mouth, he took a taste before embracing her and kissing her. As he backed away, "is that what you wanted?"

"Well I could ask for more later tonight." She replied with a smile, "But I assume you've got other date plans."

"Fair enough." Lance said as he backed away, he then went over to the bird cages they had and picked up some of the eggs.

"Planning on anyone?" Claire wondered.

"Maybe." Lance replied sarcastically as he put the eggs in his pocket, "For now I'm just going out." He then told her, "I'll be sure I pay you back in full."

She then watched him walked away with her arms crossed, a small grin and sigh, knowing Lance's usual routine all too well. She then thought to herself, "better start cooking for when he gets back." She then walked back into the apartment.

The following morning, on the other side of town, the extermination squad members were at work again, this time hunting for a new type of game. "Ugh… I feel sick." Drake complained. Hunter replied, "Don't worry about it too much. You probably got loaded up on too much booze last night."

"Subject B-008. This is our first rank A." Jo said sternly, holding Drake's tablet, which showed a bat-like monster. "Heh. Boob." Dave mused, only to be smacked on the back of the head by Jo.

"Hey, Ow!"

"Dave, stay focused! It could attack any moment right now!"

The team then continued getting to the directed coordinates in the van, the target eventually leading them in the woods outside of the city. And with guns in hand, they all stepped out and began searching around. Though as they slowly approached the target's location, nothing could be seen.

"This is the place but I'm not seeing anything." Luke pointed out.

"He has to be around here somewhere." Dave replied.

They all then begin to go around and search as William reminded them, "Just be careful. The last thing we need is this asshole getting the drop on us."

"Are you talking about me?" a monstrous voice asked calmly.

"Gah!" Dave turned around to face the Bat Amazon. Like the spider Amazon, its armlet had red eyes. What was really strange was that the monster was actually acting civil and in control.

"Please, I wish not to fight. I would rather have my comrade take care of you."

The Bat Amazon gestured its hand forward, causing a Spider Amazon to leap out of the nearby bushes.

"Another rank D? That's just a nuisance that we'll take care of easily!" Hunter said.

"Don't just stand there kill it!" William announced as they began open firing. However, their bullets had little effect on either Amazons.

Mamoru then transforming and charged at the Bat Amazon as he knocked him down and then struck at it

The Spider Amazon spit out a web, which ensnared Drake by the foot. The monster then proceeded to drag the poor extermination member around, where the rough terrain caused his sleeve to tear, revealing an armlet with blue eyes. His friends were too busy fighting the Bat Amazon, which stressed Drake even more. He eventually broke loose of the net, as the eyes on his armlet changed from blue to red. "I'm sorry…. I'm sorry that I kept this secret from you…" He said.

"Drake?! Oh, shit…" Hunter asked looking over at him.

Drake then screamed in rage as he seemingly underwent a similar transformation to Mamoru, except that when the flames dissipated, what was in Drake's place was the Dragonfly Amazon.

The insectoid monster roared in anger, and rushed towards the Spider Amazon. "Drake-kun! Are you alright?" Mamoru asked his teammate, although he was not in his right mind. The Dragonfly Amazon simply growled as when Mamoru went to check on him, he pushed his Mole buddy aside. The team then continued trying to deal with the Bat and Spider Amazon. However, as they ran and struck at the team, they were quickly able to knock each of them down. Jo's knife also was of little to no use of as when she tried to stab one of them, it did not have much of an effect to leave a fatal injury as she was also knocked to the side. Getting back up, the team was not so willing to give up as they continued to try and attack the two amazons. It was seemingly an intense fight, or at least until...

-HONK-

Everyone stopped to see who was honking on the car horn. "What business do you have here, human?!" the Bat Amazon asked. The man who was honking the car horn said nothing. He seemed to be holding a belt, which had a bizarre shape resembling a condor, and a sad face. He cracked an egg on the silver part of the buckle, and downed it raw. He then proceeded to put on the belt, then twisted the left handle.

"ALPHA!" the belt announced, as the eyes started to glow green.

"Amazon."

The man smirked as a burst of red and orange flames covered his body.

"ROAMING THE WILD! W-W-W-WILD!"

As the flames subsided, his body was covered in a red, black and white armor covered in green scars. His helmet being in the shape of an animal with green compounded eyes, a large jaw and snout. The armaments on his arms and legs also had sharp blades.

"What the hell?!" Jo shouted in disbelief and confusement.

"Calm down. I'm not here to kill you. It's these bastards whose asses need to be kicked."

The Red Amazon pointed towards the Spider, Bat, and Dragonfly Amazons. Standing firm, he fingered for his target to attack him. Growling, the two amazons charged and slashed at him. The Red Amazon easily moving with a super-fast speed as he dodged the attack. As they made a second attempt, the Red Amazon kicked one down and grabbed the other's arm.

Unamused, he then asked, "Is that the best you can do?" He then punched the amazon with his other hand, knocking it a few steps back. The two amazons then got back up and charged again, continuing the fight.

Unbeknownst to everyone else, Riley was observing from the nearby bushes. He had skipped his medication last night, and he had not eaten anything in the past 6 hours. "Why did I come here?!" Riley asked in bewilderment, as he saw the Red Amazon fighting the Spider Amazon. He then felt a sharp pain, as the beast in his nightmares broke loose. It was angry, and it was HUNGRY. Riley then doubled over and began screaming in pain, as the monster started to awaken. His eyes turned red, and he let out a cry distorted by his transformation. The teenage boy jumped into the air, creating a green shockwave.

After kicking the Spider Amazon, the Red Amazon looked over to see the green amazon. It bore a disturbing resemblance to the Red Amazon's form, but the armor was largely green with red eyes with orange scales, sharp claws, and a yellow and pink antenna. The Green Amazon snarled, with steam billowing out of his body.

"Another Amazon? Just what the hell is going on here?!" Hunter asked in confusement.
