In Konoha, Naruto whom was 13 years old and was wearing his forehead protector around his neck and was wearing a orange short sleeved jacket with it coming up a bit showing his stomach and he was wearing orange shorts and it has the Uzumaki Clan symbol on the back of his jacket and he was wearing goggles around his head. (Like the ones that Varian wears.)

On his feet were the usual ninja sandals as he was wearing dark blue fingerless gloves that has metal plates on them as he has a sword strapped to his back. He has spiky blond hair and blue eyes and pale skin and whisker birth marks on his cheeks. His name is Naruto Uzumaki and he has a look of sadness and anger in his eyes.

Today it happened as usual with Naruto and his teammates were on a D rank mission and they were cleaning up the river but Naruto ends up almost falling over but Sasuke saves him once more and then later on they had spared and Sasuke has beaten him again then what Sakura said next made him feel like he was punched in the stomach as he felt his whole world shatter around him. "Just face it Naruto you are no Uchiha or elite or prodigy you're just a nobody a loser and is only good as Sasuke's measuring stick and as a punching bag. You will never be something and you will always be a loser!" Her cruel words still rings in his head.

A part of him didn't want to believe her but a part him began to think she was right. After all, during their first mission to Wave and how he had choked and Sasuke saved him and how when they got back everyone gave Sasuke credit and praise since they believed he was the one whom had saved the entire country and why they were now in an alliance with them in actuality it was Naruto whom did it.

Then when the chunnin exams came along Naruto had barely passed the exams and he was brushed aside for Sasuke by their Sensei and then during the Uchiha retrieval mission when Naruto brought him back what did Sasuke get a couple of new teachers and a new training routine while he got a two week suspension for supposedly hurting their precious Uchiha.

Naruto clenches his fists as he wished he knew of a way to finally be free from Sasuke's shadow when Shikamaru appears. "Naruto we have a new mission tomorrow so you should head home and get some sleep." He tells him making Naruto nod his head as he heads home while Shikamaru watches him go with a look of worry. He knew Naruto has been acting distance lately after the Uchiha retrieval mission and it was beginning to worry him even Sasuke was worried for his best friend he even felt terrible when Naruto was the one whom was punished instead of him.

The Nara just hopes that nothing goes wrong on this mission. Hours later Naruto was at home as he tries to sleep but couldn't as Sakura's words kept ringing in his head. He then growls and stands up and marches out of his house and goes to the training grounds where he begins to do some late night training but while do this he stopped when he heard a mysterious voice. "Naruto." He hears as he turns around and sees a ghostly girl standing before him. "There you are Naruto, I've nearly given up on you." She tells him as she was smiling a kind smile at him.

Naruto looks at her cautiously and with suspicion he has his sword out as he wondered what she wanted. "Who are you?" He asked her making the Spirit girl approach him. "A friend at least I like to be come." She says and she begins to walk towards something. Naruto looks around and puts his sword away and then follows her when they get to the hokage mansion it was day time but Naruto knew it was impossible since it was still 9 pm. They end up walking inside the building through the walls there Naruto sees Tsunade talking to the elders as Sakura's mom was with them.

"That demon has nearly killed the Uchiha and he's becoming too powerful he needs to be punished!" The pink haired banshee screeched out as Tsunade glares at her. "Naruto isn't a threat to anyone plus you already punished him what more do you people want?!" She demanded from them. "Naruto's birth right the things that the forth hokage left for him must all go to Sasuke plus when they are old enough Sasuke will become the Hokage instead and Naruto will forever act as a guard for the gates." Danzo tells her as he was smirking at her.

Tsunade scowls at him. "But they rightfully belong to him! Minato and Kushina has left everything for their son after they died you can't simply take it all away from him!" Tsunade yells at them shocking Naruto at that. His father was the forth hokage and Tsunade knew about it. That got him thinking if she knew and the elders and Sakura's mom knew who else? They were all lying to him for years and it hurt more than anything.

"It's either that or Naruto will be banished and have his chakra sealed permanently." Koharu tells her as Naruto looks at Tsunade with a silent begging look hoping she will fight for him but to his heart break she doesn't she simply sighs and rubs her temples and pours herself another drink. "Fine." She says as everyone left the office and the hokage tower disappears and Naruto was back at the training field as it was still 9 pm as he falls to his knees as he had a broken look on his face. The spirit girl then appears once more and looks at Naruto with sympathy.

"I'm sorry that happened to you, sometimes the most painful truths are always the most difficult to see." She tells him as tears came down his face as he knew she was right but she of course kept going. "You've always been outshined and outcasted for Sasuke all your life and you always will unless." She says making Naruto opens his eyes as he looks at her a look of pure hatred and anger could be seen in his eyes. "Unless?" He asked wondering what he needed to do as the Spirit Girl smirks at him. The once happy go lucky blond was gone and now in place of a boy whom was filled with so much anger and hatred.
