Chapter One: The Attack

By the time Ochako fully realized they were being ambushed, it was already over. She had only caught only faintest flash of a knife's blade as a villain had charged out of an alleyway, completely ignoring her to rush her companion and best friend Izuku Midoriya. Without thinking, all she could do was call out to him.

"DEKU!" She screamed out, the panic in her voice had caused the young hero to snap his head towards her, and she saw his eyes fill with horror as he looked slightly to her left toward her blind spot.

In her rush to warn her friend, Ochako hadn't noticed a second villain emerging from the alley, this one coming for her. She froze as she felt a large hand wrapped around her shoulder. She turned quickly using her training to try and twist her body from his grasp, but her eyes fixated on the villain's other hand, as it had been transformed into a lethal-looking spear point, cocked back to as he was getting ready to strike. Before her brain could process anything else there was sudden blast of wind pressure and she found herself slamming hard on the hard pavement scraping her back and arms.

'W-what happened?'

She looked up, and found herself nearly twenty feet away from where she had been previously standing. In less than a millisecond, she had been thrown backwards by an enormous amount of wind pressure, which only mean one thing.

"DEKU!" Ochako screamed again, coughing as the dust and dirt that been kicked up in the air began to rain down to settle making it difficult to see. She rose up slowly, limbs shaking, and began stumbling forward. Trudging through the dust, before spotting the form of her best friend, lying prone on the ground. In an insteat she rushed to his side, quickly kneeling next to him; trying to assess his condition with the best of her ability.

"Deku, are you okay?" She asked as she gently raised his head up; hoping her voice didn't come off as too worried and scared as she thought it did. She needed to be strong for the both of them right now.

"U-Urara-raka..." Izuku managed to choke out weakly. "Are you hurt?"

Ochako couldn't help but laugh despite the situation. Of course Izuku would ignore himself to ensure her wellbeing. As the dust cleared, she got a better look at him, and with stifled a gasp. Her mind went back to their disastrous summer training camp, when Deku had broken both his arms.

This was nothing like that.

Izuku lay before her, his face twisted in pain as he tried to sit himself up as high as he could to assess his shattered legs.

He mentally cursed his stupidity. 'Of course you can't walk after that! You fucking idiot, broken arms is one thing, but how do you move now?'

He hadn't had time to think after hearing Ochako's voice when the ambush had started, only turning quickly when he noted her fear in her voice. He had seen someone running at him, but what had really caught his eye was the second man, lunging for his friend, his best friend...the girl he mind had gone blank, any thought of self-preservation replaced by an overwhelming need to save her. He looked at his legs again, now paying the price for his emotional outburst.

'You fucking stupid piece of shit, fucking idiot, how can you fight now?! How can you protect her? You're weak and your kick was weak and he's going to get up and kill her and it's your fault because of your stupidity and-.'

His train of thought broke as he felt something wet hit his face. A tear, at that moment he remembered that Ochako actually hadn't answered his question, and looked up to see her crying.

"U-Uraraka, are you okay?" He asked again; voice slightly stronger. He saw her face scrunch up, and the volume of her tears increased. After a pause she offered a sad smile.

"I'm fine, Deku. I'm okay. But you aren't." She gestured towards his shattered legs. "We need to get you help."

"But.. the villains!" Izuku exclaimed while he was trying again to sit himself up, seemingly ready to fight. The dust had almost completely cleared, revealing the aftermath of his attack. Farther down the alley, one of the villains was face down completely still. They searched for a sign of the second, but all they found was a large hole that was left on the alley's brick wall, the assailant nowhere to be found. For a moment, they allowed themselves to breathe with relief.

Ochako was trying to process the circumstances that had led to their assault.

It was Saturday night, and Class 1-A had been preparing for a group dinner to celebrate Eri moving in with them now that that the culture festival had finished up successfully. In the short amount of time she had known them, she had already made quite an impression, and the class was delighted when their teacher Shouta Aizawa better known as the Pro-Hero Eraserhead had announced she would be moving into an unoccupied dormroom that night.

With this being her first night staying with them, the whole class had assembled for a group dinner/party to try and to make her feel at home and as welcomed as possible. However Rikudou announced shortly afterward that they were missing a few key ingredients for the dessert, Izuku had been quick to volunteer to do the shopping. Asking if anyone wanted to go with him, he soon departed with only Ochako in tow, after she had shot a few choice glares to any other would-be volunteers when she knew he wasn't looking. They had made light conversation while basking in the orange glow of the setting sun; enjoying their time alone together. As they had walked, Ochako had been gathering her courage to confess something.

'He looked so cute.'

Her chest had warmed and even now when she remembered how Izuku had welcomed Eri to her new home. Ochako knew that the two were especially close since it had been Izuku who had led the charge to rescued her from the hands of that monster the hid under the guise of a man. Yet no one, not even Katsuki could deny that the relationship between the young girl and the boy she had come to fall in love with seemed on par with that of an older brother or even a father to Eri.

Izuku had quickly helped her settle in, spending nearly the whole day to give Eri the so-called "The Hero Fanboy's famous UA Tour". Returning to the dorms roughly fifteen minutes before dinner preparations had begun, Izuku had come running straight into the common room spinning and laughing, with Eri on his shoulders. Ochako tried to hold the memory of their faces then in her heart, to both comfort her, and to give her strength at the this moment. Seeing that beautiful smile on Eri's face, wider than it had ever been, with tears of joyful mirth in her eyes. It perfectly mirrored Izuku's matching grin, with his bright emerald eyes almost glowing with pride.

She had tried to be vague on the subject, dancing around what she actually wanted to ask.

"So what do you think of everyone in the class?"

He had immediately launched into a thesis on each of their quirks, much to both her amusement and chagrin.

"No Deku, like, as in people? I know like everyone...but...is there anyone that's more...special to...you?"

The poor boy had quickly turned into a red sputtering mess, seemingly avoiding to answer by pointing out that the alleyway they had just come across would make a good shortcut. Ochako's face fell as Izuku changed the subject, but it had only harden her resolve to be more direct, before they got to the dorms. She had hope to have another chance, a chance that never came as that was the moment they had been ambushed.

As Ochako finished collecting her thoughts, having pulled out her cellphone to call for back-up, she looked back at Izuku's current expression. His face was contorted in pain as he struggled to move, only for Ochako to stop him with a gentle hand to his face, making him look at her with some surprise as he was greeted with a reassuring smile.

"Stay still Deku," Ochako whispered gently as she brushed his face, she began dialing for the police."I'm calling for some ba-"

Unfortunately it was at that very moment that she was interrupted by very loud shout from a deep booming voice. "I think they went over here!" The new voice tore through the night, bouncing off the alley's remaining walls. "There should only be two of them! Even if they're UA brats we should be more than enough to take them!"

Ochako froze as she locked eyes with Izuku who had gone pale upon hearing the new voice. The villains had reinforcements and they were close, they needed to move now.

"I'll help you Deku!" Ochako whispered nervously hoping not to attract attention to their location. She quickly moved to help the boy sit up further before wrapped her arms around his chest from behind. With a final word of preparation, she activated her quirk, making Izuku weightless. Unfortunately the second after she had began to lift him, he began to cry out in pain. Ochako looked down and to her horror she had forgotten that without any stabilization, his shattered legs were left to dangle freely in the air.

Fresh tears filled her eyes at the raw pain in his voice filled her ears and guilt welled in her chest while mentally berating herself for her stupidity.

'You idiot! This is what happens when you lose focus! You're only hurting him, making things worse!'

Ochako quickly deactivated her quirk, with a fresh idea in her mind kicking in from her rescue training. She turned around quickly and hoisted Izuku on to her back; doing her best to ignore his shuddering body. Once he was secured she bent herself slightly forward at the waist so his feet didn't drag in the ground before she began awkwardly moving forward, trying to go as fast as she could all while she could hear the villains getting ever closer.

"Where are they?!"

"They can't have gotten far, we heard one of them screaming!"

"I found Kochin, but where the fuck is Kubo?!"

"Forget him and find the brats!"

Ochako knew that Izuku's scream had revealed their location, with footsteps echoing all around them, getting ever closer. She knew that they had to move and get to somewhere safe, somewhere crowded where they would get some help. Yet with Izuku weighing her down, there wasn't much she could do except wave through the alleyways and shadows trying to make up for their slow pace, as the footsteps of their pursuers drew ever closer.

Ochako drew in one last corner hoping that they found the back unto the street, back to safety...only to end up at a dead end.

'No...'

She turned and saw the line of people blocking their only exit, she began walk backwards only to sink to knees, gingerly placing Izuku down with her, as hope began to drain from her very body.

'This can't be happening...'

Among the villains, was a giant hulk of a man, with what seemed to be large jagged rocks protruding from his shoulders; stepped forward, wearing an evil looking smirk. The leader, probably.

"Ya gave us quite a chase girly." He said as he tilted his neck, causing it to create a sickening pop. "No matter, we gotta ya now...what you say boys...ready to have a little fun?" The remaining villains behind him, began jeering with their own taunts.

"Time to kill of these so called heroes!"

"Time for some payback."

Izuku sat up as much as he could, unable to keep a grimace from his face. His heart broke as he saw Ochako kneeling, blocking him from the villains. He could see her back shaking with silent sobs as the villains leader approached ever closer.

"NO!" He yelled out with everything he could as he activated his quirk to it's max output. Making the villains freeze with some hesitation.

He was going to save her, He was a hero goddamn it! He would never let someone...let alone Ochako get hurt if he could do something about it. He mind began to race; eyes darting around at a mile a minute forming make-shift plan, as he finally settled on using the ground between the two groups.

Without any time to plan further, he quickly leaned forward, wrapping one arm around Ochako's waist catching her by surprise. He pulled until she ended up right behind him. His teeth where clenched as he readied for the pain he knew he was in for as he slammed his other arm on the ground in front of them.

"DETRIOT SMASH!" He cried out as he felt his arm break upon impacting with the ground and for a split second it seemed like all of time seemed to freeze, until the ground suddenly caved in from under them swallowing students and villains down into the earth.

The last thing Izuku remembered was Ochako wrapping her arms around him again, as tightly as possible as they began falling down, as everything suddenly went black.

Editor's Notes: Hey guys long time no see! LordXG3 here and I am to present a re-uploaded chapter of the story: Guilt by Isaac. Now I know there are a number of questions that this could raise among the normal readers so I'll go ahead and answers those now.

1. Where is the latest Chapter(s) of My Hero Academia Untold: The Fafnir Knight?

A: Chapter XXXII is complete, but I have not submitted it to my Beta reader yet as I want to submit Chapter XXXIII at the same time so both can go live at the same time as promised during my update upload. Good news Chapter XXXIII is almost done too.

2. Why are you writing a new story?

A: This isn't my story, this is actually the story, I recommended into Chapter II of FK. Isaac due to some unfortunate circumstances (that I will not go into detail) had decided to delete this and all of his remaining stories and accounts off all three major fanfiction sites. (FF, AO3 and Wattpad) However since I had liked this story so much, I had actually to save a copy of the whole thing and still had Isaac on my Discord friend list from our time together at the Izuocha Discord Temple.

3. Why re-upload?

A: I really liked the story and I found it to be very underrated -albeit it was a tiny bit of a rough read, and I just thought it was a real shame that no one could really read it again. So after a long conversation and being granted permission, Isaac the original author basically told me to go nuts and re-upload it no problem. (Dude was super cool about it).

He even said I could do it without giving him credit, but I cannot in good conscience do that, so while I did take some liberties -mostly edits to clean up and flesh out the story a little more, (and again with permission) from the original version (hence the V2 in the title) which may include a one or more extra chapters from the original fourteen of the original version.

4. Will is this project related to The Untold Universe?

A: No, this is its own thing and as nothing to do with the Untold Universe. This project is both very easy and does not eat up much of my time, since the story is already complete, I'm just editing and adding (with occasionally subtracting some unneeded bits) more to it to improve the reading experience. I'm doing this to both stop myself from burning out, and improve my skills as not only a beta reader/editor but just as an author in general.

5. Will this interfere with Stories from The Untold Universe?

A: Yes and No. The Stories from the Untold Universe will always be my first priority, and this project is just something I could in the sidelines to avoid burning out. So while it might take some time away from my working on the Untold Universe, it is ultimately a way for me to keep me from burning out from working on The Untold Universe.

I think that should cover the most important questions for now.

I do however have a very important announcement however (and this message will be repeated on both Draco Knight and Fafnir Knight's latest chapters)

Due to the COVID-19 better known as The Coronavirus: The pharmacy I work for as sought out volunteers to join makeshift team of Pharmacists and Technicians to operate an emergency night-shift of our pharmacy to keep it running late into the night so that we can keep providing for our patients around the clock.

Since many of my fellow employees have family obligations that I do not, so I have decided to sign up for the night-shift that is expected to last between 3-8 weeks.

I'm not sure what kind of impact this will have on my upload schedule (I am actually quite the night owl so I might actually get more work done ironically) but the key thing here is that my current upload schedule is completely up in the air until otherwise noted. But I'm just doing what I can to help with the situation for both the patients and ease the workload for everyone else.

That is it for now my dear readers stay safe.
