I have done it!! Since most of us have been stuck at home because of the coronavirus, I have a lot more free time on my hands. So, today, I got the brilliant idea of a sequel to my Kalos Adventure story. It will involve action, drama, some characters death later on so bring some tissues, and...wait for it...the revival of Ash Ketchum himself. I could tell by the reviews that most of you were pretty upset when Ash died during the Kalos Crisis arc in my story. So, I decided that in one of the chapters, he will be revived. Now, let's get the setting, the mood, and the story underway!!!

The world of pokemon...inhabited by many species of pokemon. All living in harmony with humans, whether wild or with trainer. Such a scene can bring peace, tranquility, and...

CRASH!!! "What an exciting showdown people"!! That came from Manalo Stadium in the Alola region. Currently, in honor of the Alola League opening, an exhibition match is currently underway. It's the newest Alola Champion, and my personal friend, Gladion, going up against me, who came to Alola on some business with Kukui involving updating my Rotom Dex. The match is three on three, and so far, I took out Silvally and Umbreon with my Floatzel and Alolan Ninetails. Now, he was down to Lycanroc and I was using one of my newest catches, Empoleon. So far, Lycanroc just used stone edge and it destroyed the move with steel wing. The announcer commented,"This match up is unlike anything I've ever seen. The rock type Lycanroc, despite the disadvantage, is putting up a good fight against the water / steel type Empoleon. This match can go either way now!! Will pokemon master and Kalos Champion Liz win or will Alola Champion Gladion be able to pull a turn around victory"?! Gladion smiled before saying,"Use stone edge again," as Lycanroc launched the move. I say,"Empoleon, dodge it and use aqua jet"!! Empoleon did as so and hits Lycanroc head on, causing it to fall back and struggle back up. Gladion smirked, saying,"Not bad. But we're getting ready for our next move. Now, use outrage," as its eyes glowed red and began charging towards Empoleon. I say,"Fight back with steel wing," as Empoleon countered each punch with steel wing. Then, when both sides jumped back, I say,"Time to end it with a z-move buddy," as Empoleon nodded in agreement. I placed the steel z-crystal into my z-ring as we were ready to rumble. We started to do the motion as I say,"Harder than a rock type, tougher than a fighting type. Resilience, perseverance, show it off in a silver gleam of lightning"!! Empoleon began to glow and was ready to launch its move.

Meanwhile, Gladion and Lycanroc were preparing their z-move with the dragon type z-crystal. As they did the motions, Gladion says,"Vividly shining light, take flight. Carve the greatest name into this battlefield. All right Lycanroc, get ready..." as it glowed and prepared to use its move too. At the same time, we said,"Now!! Use Corkscrew Crash / Devastating Drake," as both pokemon launched their z-moves at one another. Luckily, Corkscrew Crash easily broke through Devastating Drake and hits Lycanroc head on. Once the smoke settled down, Empoleon was breathing really fast and Lycanroc was knocked out cold. The referee, who was Hala, saw and said,"Lycanroc is unable to battle. Empoleon wins and that means the winner of this exhibition match is Liz, the Kalos Champion"!! The audience broke into applause as the announcer says,"What an incredible ending to an epic match!! In the end, the prodigy trainer excels as the winner"!! I went up to Empoleon as I say,"Great job buddy. You were excellent in that battle," as it smiled and chirped happily. Meanwhile, Gladion returned his trusted partner and came up to me and says,"Congratulations. That was a fun match. You and your pokemon took my team to the limit and back." I smiled at him, saying,"Thank you Gladion. I had a lot of fun today. Let's have a battle like that again in the future. Ok," as he nodded in agreement and shook hands like fellow rivals. Later on, I got my pokemon all healed up and was ready to head out. I released my Charizard out as it gave a pretty loud roar while doing so. I smiled, saying,"Guess you're pretty happy that we did a great job in that battle huh"? It fired a flamethrower to my face, not melting my glasses luckily. I smiled and removed the charcoal from my face. Empoleon sweatdropped as I could tell it still did not understand how Charizard shows affection that way. While doing so, I was saying in laughter,"That'll never get old. Still as powerful as ever. Now Charizard, let's head out. To Kalos, full speed ahead," as it roared and took off with us on its back. After about a couple hours of flying, we made it to Kalos, more specifically, Vaniville Town. I wanted to surprise Grace...erm...mom. Even after all this time, I still feel a little weird calling her mom. Nothing personal. Once it landed, I thanked Charizard before returning it to its pokeball and we started the walk to her house.

As we got closer, I noticed something that made me smile brightly. It was Katie, who was feeding Grace's Rhyhorn. I gave a mighty shout as she looked up and smiled when she saw me. We both ran up to one another and hugged as Empoleon smiled and watched from behind me. I say,"How've you been? You look great. How's life on tour as the Pop All Stars? How's Serena? Is she here with you"?!?! Katie laughed before saying,"I've been great. Thank you. Life on tour is really fun. Serena and I are enjoying performing with one another again. She's been great. She recently got married to Carl and they've been a happy couple for the last couple of months. Finally, she had to attend to something, but will come by later." I smiled as I then introduced her to Empoleon, who waved a friendly hello. She said,"It's great to meet you. I see you look like you'd be a tough one in battle," making it blush. She then offered us to come inside as we entered the house together. Inside, nothing much has changed furniture wise. What I didn't know was that sneaking up behind me was Serena, who snickered quietly and smiled. She then covered my eyes while saying in a singsong voice,"Guess who"? I knew instantly who it was as I said,"Well...only one person has that kind of voice...it's Bonnie." My guess made her pout for a minute before I smirked and said,"Just kidding sis. I knew it was you," as we both hugged each other tightly. Our shouts of excitement were heard by Carl, who came from the kitchen, saying,"You three are as giddy as a pair of Skittys on a sugar high." It gave me the chance to finally meet him face to face as I say,"So, you're the lucky man with my sister..pleasure to meet you. Serena has told me so much about you." He smiled as he says,"The pleasure is all mine to be in your presence. I first found it hard to believe when Serena said that her sister was the Kalos Champion. Guess I was proven wrong big time." We both shared a heartfelt laugh as I asked,"Hey...where's mom Serena"? She replied with,"She went shopping for groceries with Raichu and Hawlucha, but will be back soon." I understood well as Carl then asked if we could have a battle and I gratefully accepted his challenge. Katie decided to make it a tag battle as she would team up with Carl and Serena would be with me.

We went out to the backyard as Empoleon offered to act as referee. Carl released his partner, who was a Meditite, and Katie called out her newest pokemon / partner, Flareon. Serena called out her Pangoro, who evolved from Pancham, and I decided to go with Rhyperior, who evolved from my Rhydon. What none of us knew was that two pairs of eyes were watching us in a tree. With both sides ready, Empoleon called for the battle to begin. Carl had Meditite go in with drain punch and Katie had Flareon charge in with fire fang. Rhyperior intercepted fire fang with drill run, easily overpowering it. Meanwhile, Pangoro met drain punch head on with thunder punch, creating a stalemate. Meditite then launched a shadow ball as Pangoro intercepted it with dark pulse, creating and explosion. Meanwhile, Rhyperior used rock wrecker as Flareon dodged and managed to land a hit with iron tail. However, thanks to its ability rock solid, it did not do that much damage. It then used thunderbolt, which electrified Flareon, paralyzing it. Pangoro then launched a stone edge, which dealt the knockout blow. Meditite landed a hit on Pangoro with close combat, but Rhyperior got back at it with flamethrower. Meditite got knocked out and Serena and I were the winners. We both high fived each other, along with our pokemon, as Carl and Katie returned their pokemon. Carl smiled before saying,"Well, I'll be a Mankey's uncle. You're not the champion for nothing." Katie mentioned,"Just like old times. You and Serena are unstoppable together." We both smiled and said,"Our greatest strength lies in our bond with one another and our pokemon." Suddenly, the sources of the two pairs of eyes jumped out of the tree and landed in front of us. We were left in a state of shock as Carl says,"It's a pair of Greninjas." Katie added,"They look quite familiar, don't they Liz"? I didn't answer as I was surprised and smiling brightly. I walked up to them, seeing the bandannas they sported. When I was close enough, I asked,"Sino? Greninja? Is that you"? They both nodded as we shared a huge hug between us. Serena smiled, saying,"I can't believe it! It's Sino and Greninja!! I thought they were busy ridding the roots that remained after the Kalos Crisis." Then, Sino surprised me again by saying,"We were." I say, in curiosity,"It's telepathy. Sino can speak with telepathy." Sino nodded before continuing with,"We were removing the roots, but the job was completed a couple of days ago. Zygarde 2 returned to its habitat and allowed us to go home. Since then, Greninja and I have been awaiting for your return." It made me smile brightly as I say,"I'm glad that you two are back. I'm more than happy to welcome you two back with open arms."

Sino and Greninja looked at each other before looking back at me. Sino then says,"Before we do, we would love to show you how much stronger we've grown since our departure. The best way is by challenging you to a battle. Greninja and myself vs two pokemon of your choice." I was ready to face them as I let out two formidable opponents: Heracross and Boltund. We prepared for the showdown as both Greninjas went in with night slash. Heracross blocked with brick break and Boltund blocked with crunch. Sino then used ice beam as Heracross used the power to form a powerful ice punch. Sino dodged it in time as Greninja went in with aerial ace. Boltund protected its partner with wild charge. Greninja took some damage, but shook it off easily. Sino and Greninja then went in with double team as my pokemon eliminated the copies with mega horn and thunderbolt. However, the real ones ended up hitting my pokemon with water shurigen. Sino then charged into Boltund with extreme speed and Greninja blasted Heracross away with sacred sword. Boltund and Heracross stood tall and got back at them with revenge and play rough. Both sides have taken massive damage, but did not want to give in. Heracross began to charge a hyperbeam while Boltund prepped a potent discharge. Meanwhile, Greninja and Sino both combined their hydro cannon to create one big attack. Everyone launched their attacks and a huge explosion occurred. I covered my eyes and held onto my hat tight. Once the smoke settled down, Sino and Greninja were down on one knee and breathing heavily while Heracross and Boltund were struggling to remain upright. Suddenly, the exhaustion got to them and Heracross and Boltund collapsed with swirls in their eyes. I was shocked, but happy nonetheless, that Sino and Greninja have gotten a lot stronger after all these years. I returned my pokemon, praising them for a valiant effort in battle, before offering Sino and Greninja some Sitrus Berries to restore their energy.

After they recovered from the exhausting battle, I said,"You two have definitely gotten stronger since I last saw you. I'm especially proud that you guys have remembered what I've taught you about not relying too much on power and to remain defensive and alert, not letting your guard down. I must say, I'm very impressed with both of you, especially with your latest moves." They both nodded and smiled as Sino says,"We've trained effortlessly to master these moves, which has helped us out a lot during our root hunt." I then pulled out their old two pokeballs as I say,"Are you two ready to be part of the family again"? They both nodded as I called them back into their pokeballs for a well-deserved rest. Serena smiled as she says,"It's great to be reunited with your old friends once again. I know how you much you've missed them, the same way they've missed you a lot as well." Katie added,"Now, you three can perform your special battle bond trick again." Carl was confused as he says,"Battle bond trick"? I then explained to him about the bond phenomenon between both Greninjas, which impressed him. Before we could continue our conversation, a delivery Pelipper came from the sky, dropping off four invitations, one for each of us, before flying off. We opened them up and read what they said to each other.

Dear ( Name of Character ),

We've been monitoring your strength as a trainer and are pleased to invite you to our newest tournament: The Ash Ketchum Tournament. We heard about what happened and how you were a friend / rival / fan of the Pallet Town star. So, in honor of his legacy, we decided to host a battle tournament in his honor, knowing he loved to battle. It will take place in the Sinnoh Region 1 month from when you first get this letter. We hope to see you there soon and if you choose to participate, good luck.

We were left in a state of shock as I say,"This is awesome!! We're going to get to participate in a tournament designed in honor of Ash"!! Katie says,"I'm sure this is going to be a fun experience for all." Serena then grabbed the cap that used to belong to Ash and placed it on her head while saying,"I'm going to do my best in that tournament and who knows? I might end up winning the whole thing." I say with confidence,"Well, you're going to have to get through me first because I'm going to win." Soon, we heard Grace shouting that she was home as Katie, Serena, and I ran in to go help her. Carl stayed behind as he looked around before contacting someone through his PokeEtch. A man with a deep, grave voice responded with,"So, did they get them yet"? Carl nodded, saying,"They did, and as you predicted, Liz has returned to Kalos and reunited with Serena." The man said,"Yes. Excellent. Our plan is starting to fall into place. Remember, you have to keep up the "good husband" act just until the semi-finals end, that is, if they make it. Soon, the world will fall to our feet and Team Rocket will soar into fame, ruling the world." Carl soon heard Serena call him as he said,"Talk to you soon," sneering, before composing himself and going back in the house, all of us unaware about the real truth lying in this dastardly planned scheme.

How about that? So, Carl only married Serena as part of a secret plan for Team Rocket!! Will they discover it before they get caught in the trap? What exactly is Team Rocket planning anyway?
