Yelling, punching, and shooting. Yang Xiao Long grinned fiercely. This was her element. To be in the thick of it, bashing White Fang goons left and right with such skill and brawn that it seemed utterly effortless to anyone who watched her fight. The fact that she let out chuckles amidst grunts and punches further enforced this.

Thirty goons with guns and swords versus one of her. Thirty goons laying in the dirt, and one Yang victoriously stood over her foes.

"Whew!" Yang sighed with a smile as she admired her handiwork. More than half of them weren't conscious to hear her say that, the remainder largely too much in pain to think right now. "Wow guys, you almost made me break a sweat. Almost takes the fun out of a fight..." She shook her head, a sly grin appearing afterward "Almost..."

Just then, a clang to her right grabbed her attention. Her head shot towards the source and her lilac eyes laid sight on a female Faunus in a labcoat appearing from behind a crate with her arms up. The huntress sized her up for a bit. She was rather short with big black eyes and black hair tied into a ponytail to match. In addition to this a pair of large rounded ears peaked out from her head. Notably she wasn't dressed in White Fang garb or any emblems related to them, and was instead clad in a science coat. If Yang had to take a guess, this person was some mouse type Faunus.

"Heh... good thing Blake isn't here..." Yang thought to herself.

"D-don't hurt me..." Squeaked the Faunus. "I-I'm not w-with them... I'm a scientist."

"Scientist huh?" Yang said, approaching her where the shy Faunus shrank in fear. The young huntress saw this and slowed down. "Hey, it's alright. I'm a huntress. I'm here to help you."

"A huntress? You're a little young aren't you?" She asked, appearing to calm down.

Yang sighed. "Uh, well... I'm a student at Beacon so technically I'm in training, but it's easier to say that I'm a huntress." The blonde explained.

"I see... well I'm glad you're here. They've been holding me here for months..."

"For what?" Yang asked. "Some weird science stuff?"

"That's... one way to put it." The scientist nodded. "Oh, I'm Doctor Mousa by the way. Royal Vale Scientific Institute."

"Mousa?" Yang nearly lost it, a girlish giggle slipping through.

"Yes, yes, I know..." The mouse frowned. "I heard it all before."

"Heh, well Doctor Mousa, I'm Yang." She began with a warm smile. "Yang Xiao Long. Member of Team RWBY!"

"Team RWBY? There's more of you?"

"Yep. The rest of my team is clearing the place right now. They should be done soon since we caught these guys off guard." Proudly, she placed a foot on the back of a fallen Fang member. "Is there any more of you by the way? More scientists or hostages?"

"Not that I know of, but come on! There's something important we have to do!"

With haste the small scientist grabbed the hand of the much taller human girl and lead her down a hall. Yang was about to question where she was leading her when she started speaking. "These bullies... nothing more than mindless thugs following a tainted vision. I used to think they were good, wanted to join them even. If I knew of the things they wanted to make me work on, I would have tried to leave the kingdom and go to Vacuo."

"Whoa, slow down!" Yang stopped her just as they reached a heavy set of double doors with a keypad on the side. "What exactly did they make you do anyway?"

"Take a look..." Doctor Mousa said with regret visibly molding her face. A dainty finger pointed towards the sign on the door with words written in big white letters.

"Secret weapons?" Yang read. A worrying thought crossed her mind, but then she thought of the bright side. "Heh, Ruby would like this place..." She said with a bit of a joking tone.

Doctor Mousa punched some numbers into the keypad and soon enough the doors opened. Upon the doors opening, a White Fang grunt opened fire with a pistol towards the two. The doctor squeaked in terror and immediately ducked, but Yang in stark contrast immediately sprang to action. A couple shots blocked with her gauntlets and a fist thrown behind her unleashed a shot blast down the way they came. The force of her shot propelled her forward and in the blink of an eye she was on top of the goon, a wink that screamed 'gotcha' given to the man before his lights were knocked clean out with one devastating punch.

"Nice try." Yang smirked as she watched the grunt crumple to the floor like a whole sack of potatoes.

"Be careful!" Doctor Mousa warned. "There's bound to be more of them. You have to hurry and stop them before they can use my inventions!"

"Got it!"

Yang smiled, shooting a thumbs up at the worried mouse before barreling down the corridor and into the rather spacious part of the facility that must have been Doctor Mousa's unwanted labaratory judging by all the science equipment and machines that looked way too complex for Yang to have any hope of understanding. The young huntress expected more resistance, at least a dozen guys, but there was only two White Fang goons in here. A female rabbit and a guy with no obvious animal parts showing. Both were fumbling around with this one device, evidently having no idea how to operate it as they were bickering with each other. Neither seemed to have noticed Yang entering in their haste to arm themselves with something in here.

"C'mon! How does this stupid thing work!?" The guy said.

"You're not using it right! Give it to me, I got this..." The woman said as she yanked the device out of his hands. The device was roughly in the shape of a gun, though bulky and large. In a circular configuration around the midsection of the device was a cylinder of different colored dust crystals that reminded Yang somewhat of how Weiss' weapon utilized its dust.

Only two enemies in here and they don't even realize she's here yet, both trying to work a weapon they don't know how to use. It almost made her feel sorry for these two.

"Hey!" Yang shouted from across the room. "Better give up. I'm in a merciful mood right now..." She said, smiling with utmost confidence as she leaned against a desk.

The two Fang goons popped their heads up in a panic. Without even thinking about it, the woman leveled the device towards Yang who didn't feel threatened in the slightest. Apparently justified as the weapon did nothing, much to the frustration of the operator.

"Huh. Looks like you're all out of options!" The cocky girl declared, taunting her enemy with a hearty laugh that both angered and terrified them.

Yang got up and slowly approached them, one foot in front of the other as she went. "You have five seconds to put your hands up before I beat you up."

"Five..."

The goons began sweating madly. The guy immediately raised his hands while the woman kept at trying to get the weapon to work.

"Four..."

Yang grinned with a bit of a cruel grin, her knuckles cracking.

"Three..."

Doctor Mousa appeared at the entrance, wuickly observing the situation where she saw the device and her heart stopped.

"Two..."

A beep sound emits from the device, the woman breathes a sigh of relief as the weapon boots up. Yang's eyes widen as she saw the cylinder spin rapidly until a bright white core in the center of the device was formed.

"One?"

Faster than the blonde could react, a blindingly white beam of light shot from the device with such force that it blasted Yang into the wall on the opposite side of the room, cracking it. The goons were not left intact either as the shot was so strong that it recoiled the woman into the guy and they both fell over some crates behind them.

Yang's aura shimmered intensely on impact with the wall and the girl was left in terrible pain.

"Owwww..." She whined, falling forward onto her knees with a humanoid shaped imprint in the wall she emerged from. She cursed herself for being so careless. It hurt really bad, but it didn't seem like she was seriously hurt thanks to her aura holding out. This was definitely going to sting for a while though, and that made her angry...

A little dizzy themselves, the two White Fang grunts peered over the crates to see the effect of their attack. They expected one charred Yang, what they instead saw can only be described as terror in the form of a teenage girl. Her eyes had turned a blood red, and her hair began to flame as if she set it alight.

"You guys... you..." She snarled under heavy breaths. A pause, something caught her attention by her feet. It was... yellow. Stringy, and in a small clump. Some would call it... blonde hair...

"YOU GUYS ARE SO DEAD! RAAAAAAGH!" The girl madly roared to the point where the walls themselves shook as if an earthquake struck. Fire erupted in geysers emanating out of her very being. Her chest heaved to fuel the uncontrollable seething vocal anger that was her mad screams.

The Fang members, and Doctor Mousa as well, nearly soiled themselves. An angry Yang was already terrifying. A girl who can take the form of an angry goddess of destruction and wrath for a short period of time.

But that's not all that scared them.

Yang was more than absolutely furious.

She was... growing.
