I read your reviews, Nebula the Hedgehog. Just to let you know, I don't hate Sally, I just hate how she was handled issues after 134. There's more going on with Sally's bad behavior than the characters think. You probably saw the first signs in the previous chapter when Sally's eyes flashed gold. More signs will show in this next chapter too.

Chapter 2: Accused!

It wasn't long before Princess Sally was rushed to the emergency room. Dr. Quack and the medics began to operate on her immediately. King Maximillion and Queen Alicia were anxious as they waited for the news if Sally was going to make it. About an hour or two after Princess Sally was rushed to surgery, Dr. Quack emerged from the emergency room. "Dr. Quack, is Sally . . . ?" asked Queen Alicia. "She's going to make it. But there's something odd about Sally's condition," said Dr. Quack. "Odd? What?" asked King Maximillion. "Some of the worst of her wounds are healing, quicker than normal," said Dr. Quack. "What?! How is that possible?" asked King Maximillion. "I don't know. The other doctors and I are going to have to look into it," said Dr. Quack.

Just then, Dr. Quack and Sally's parents began to hear her daughter stir. "She's waking up already," said King Maximillion. Upon waking up, Sally let out a groan of pain and clutched her side. One of her arms was in a cast and sling, bandages around her torso, band aids on part of her face and one of her legs was in a cast too. "Don't try to move too much. You had a nasty fall," said Dr. Quack. "Sally, you're alive," said Queen Alicia. "Thank goodness, we were very worried," said King Maximillion.

Sally's face then took on that of a look of anger. "Where's Amy Rose?" asked Sally. "Amy Rose?" asked King Maximillion. "What bring her up?" asked Dr. Quack. "She's the one who pushed me out of the window!" said Sally. "Why would Amy do that?" asked Queen Alicia. "'Cause Sonic sent her to do this to me! He sent that pink pest to get the key to his foot device and assassinate me so that when I die, the house arrest order will die with me!" said Sally. "WHAT?!" asked Sally's parents and Dr. Quack. "What makes you think she was hired by Sonic?" asked Dr. Quack. "Amy said that Sonic will be happy when he finds out she got the key and beat me into a pulp!" said Sally.

"I've put with Sonic long enough, but no more! Trying to kill my daughter all because he couldn't agree with her about something is crossing the line!" said King Maximillion. "I want those two hedgehogs arrested and executed for that attempt on my life! I don't how you execute them, gullitoine, hanging or electric chair, the point is that they deserve death!" said Sally. As Sally was ranting, Sally's parents were noticing some gold veins were starting to form on Sally's face. "Max, look at Sally's face," said Queen Alicia. "It'll go away . . . I hope," said King Maximillion.

Amy Rose arrived outside of Sonic's house and knocked on the door. Sonic opened the door and saw Amy. His parents were out grocery shopping. "Go away, Amy. I'm not in a mood for your flirting," said Sonic. "Actually, I'm here to grant you what you crave most right now," said Amy. She then showed Sonic the key to his foot device. "Your freedom," said Amy. Sonic's eyes widened when he saw the key. He quickly grabbed the key from Amy and used it to unlock the device. Amy stepped into the house and closed the door as Sonic did. "At last! I can go out in public again!" said Sonic. He turned to Amy. "You must've put a lot of effort to get this key, sneaking into Sally's room without getting caught by her or any of the guards," said Sonic.

"Actually, I did something even better. I got the key by beating the snot out of that tyrannical bleep and pushed her out of the window. She'll never trouble you or anybody else every again," said Amy.

Sonic stood silent for a couple of seconds when Amy openly told him about how she attacked Sally. She also beamed, waiting for what Sonic would say next. She hoped Sonic would say something like, "Thank you, Amy" or "At last, I'm free from Sally's bullying". But Sonic didn't say either of those things. Instead, he yelled, "YOU WHAT?!" Amy paled when she heard Sonic yell that. "Amy Rose Hedgehog, have you any idea of what you have just done?!" asked Sonic. "Yes. Sally's become a pain in your butt ever since she broke your heart. So I ended your misery by painting her out of the picture," said Amy. "But by doing so, you just painted yourself a target for the authorities!" said Sonic.

At that very moment, they heard the voice of the guards outside of Castle Acorn. "Sonic the Hedgehog, Amy Rose Hedgehog, you two are under arrest for the charge of the attempted assassination of Sally Acorn, by order of Sally herself!" said Guard #1. "WHAT?!" asked Sonic. Sally, still alive?! How could she be still alive!, thought Amy. "I would never send an assassin to kill Sally! Sure she was mean to me! But I would never stoop to that level just to get rid of a house arrest order!" said Sonic. "Oh yeah, but from what Sally told us, she said that Amy declared you would be happy when Sally is dead," said Guard #2. Sonic gave Amy Rose a death glare. "If you don't come out with your hands up, we shall use lethal force," said Guard #3.

Sonic knew that the way Sally's been acting so far, he would be in for a sentence that would prevent him from clearing his name. He didn't want to resist arrest, but he had no choice in this matter. He grabbed Amy by the wrist. "Hang on, Amy. It's going to get rough," said Sonic grimly. He then dashed out the door and rammed the guards, scattering them in different directions. By the time the guards recovered, Sonic was already leaving Knothole. "After them, you fools!" said Guard #1. The guards then began to run after Sonic and Amy, but Sonic was too quick for them.

Sonic and Amy went far away as possible from Knothole. "Sonic, I knew you cared about me . . . ," said Amy. "Don't get all mushy with me, Amy!" interrupted Sonic. "Sonic, I . . . ," said Amy. "Thanks to that stunt you just pulled, you not just got yourself in trouble, you got me in trouble too! Your big mouth got Sally thinking I hired you to kill her! So now, she's order for our arrest and we're now fugitives! What even made you think I would delight in Sally's death?!" scolded Sonic. "You were angry with Sally for putting you under house arrest. So I thought that if something really bad happened to her, it would make you very happy. Besides, she deserved what happened her," said Amy. "Not like that! Not by you! You were just using this as an excuse to get her out of the way so you can have me all to yourself!" said Sonic.

"I did not!" objected Amy. "Ha! Could've fooled me!" said Sonic. Sonic began to walk away. "Sonic, we'll get throu . . . ," said Amy. "Stay away from me! You're a monster! You already cause enough trouble! I must clear my name . . . alone! I'm going far away from you!" said Sonic. Sonic then began to speed away. "Sonic, please! Don't leave me alone!" cried Amy. But it was too late. Sonic sped off into the distance. Amy collapsed on her knees and began to cry hysterically. For she screwed things up, big time.

Well, things have gone from bad to worse for Sonic. He and Amy are now fugitives and Sonic's pretty angry at the mess Amy made. Next chapter, tensions start to rise between Sonic's friends and Sally . . .
