FOREWORD

I do not take suggestions. And yet, while publishing Zabaniya, a review from meemapmeow had my interest. They claimed, once I had finished the Babylonia Singularity of Fate/Grand Order, I would do a story pairing Harry with Tiamat. I dismissed it at the time, but after playing said Singularity, I found myself agreeing.

But how to do this? At the time, I didn't want to do a rehash of what I was doing with Zabaniya, and having Tiamat show up in the modern day, while there were some interesting elements, didn't quite feel right. But with the advent and release of the anime adaptation Fate/Grand Order: Absolute Demonic Front Babylonia, well, I felt the time was right to do a retelling, or rather, reimagining of that Singularity, with everyone's favourite Kaiju MILF on a path of character development…along with a post-Hogwarts Harry with demons of his own.

In characterising Tiamat, I owe a huge debt to Psychoghost, and their portrayal of Tiamat in A Mother's Love. While I didn't actually base Tiamat on their portrayal wholly (not least of which because this story actually pairs Harry with Tiamat, rather than Tiamat becoming a mother figure to Harry), their story was an important stepping stone, and I urge anyone who wants another take on a good Tiamat to read that story.

Anyway, time for the usual disclaimers. Firstly, there will be spoilers for both Harry Potter and Fate/Grand Order.
