Hello hello, long time no see Fanfiction! I have finally come up with another series!

So just a heads up, this is a multi-chapter, mutli-character/couple fic. Each chapter will focus on a different couple of my choosing and will describe how they each find out they are expecting a baby. Some are happy stories, some aren't. Some are fluffy, some are more serious. I wanted to keep this real. Yes, I'm a fluffy writer, but I'm going to try really hard to give these stories more depth then usual. Some will be longer than others, it just depends on how deep the story goes. I hope you enjoy this one!

"Harry! Harry Potter… Potter!" Ginny yelled louder with each syllable as she tore through the hallways of the Auror department.

She didn't care that people were looking at her with alarm, nor did she care that she hadn't even put proper clothes on that morning; waltzing through with her grey tracksuit bottoms and white singlet shirt. All she cared about was the piece of parchment in her hand and getting it to her husband as quickly as possible.

She reduced her sprint to a speedy walk once she began passing the open-plan desk spaces. She'd caused enough of a scene already with her excited yelling, they didn't need to hear her feet as they thudded down the walkways as well.

There were so may emotions flying around her body; excitement, nervousness, satisfaction, relief. Being unwell had not been a pleasant time for Ginny in recent weeks, though now knowing what caused the lack of wellness had left Ginny in a fluttery, giddy mess and she no longer cared about the side effects of her diagnosis.

"He's in his office Mrs Potter," a trainee spoke nervously from his desk. Ginny stopped walking to locate the source of information, finding the young man with wide, horrified eyes staring up at her. Somehow word had gotten out around Harry's office that Ginny was a very scary witch. She didn't mean to be, in fact she rarely was mean, more so intimidating, but it still seemed that people remained cautious around her despite her attempts at being the friendly Harry Potter's wife. Ginny had a bad feeling they may have heard a howler she'd sent to Harry when he failed to come home three nights in a row once - only to find out he'd been rushed into an undercover mission and she had failed to read his letter explaining his whereabouts. Once you've heard someone scream profanities through a howler, it was probably hard to imagine them as a nice person ever again.

"Thank you," Ginny smiled widely and the boy relaxed a bit, though he still looked on the brink of fainting in his seat when she left. She didn't have time to deal with a scared out of his pants child anyway, she had to find her husband.

As she made it to his corridor, Ginny wasted no time bursting into the office labelled H. Potter.

"Harry!"

Harry spun around in his seat, his eyes wide with surprise, "Gin? What are you doing here?"

Ginny paused in the doorway to catch her breath, before she leant against the wood holding a smug grin on her face. Harry furrowed his brows and narrowed his eyes at his wife, completely confused by her behaviour. It was so out of character for her to come busting into his workplace, let alone to have such a secretive expression when she got there. Plus, it wasn't like her to go out in public with such casual clothing on either, which he noticed after glancing over her quickly. What could have happened for her to storm in there in such a state?

"Okay, what did you do?" he sighed, preparing himself for something shocking.

"Nothing honey," she shrugged, the grin not moving from her face. Harry noticed the piece of parchment in her hand as she fidgeted in the doorway.

He narrowed his eyes again and stood up from his chair, "I swear, if you bought another animal, magical or not-"

The last thing he needed was another rabbit or guinea pig, or pygmy puff roaming about their new house. He'd accepted the cat - it the first animal Ginny had brought home, after all - but Ginny couldn't seem to resist a purchase each time she passed a pet store, and Harry didn't know how many more animals he could take.

"-Nope."

He breathed out a sigh of relief and pinched the bridge of his nose, "Thank Merlin for that. Then what's going on?"

Before he could even think, Ginny was charging at him. She jumped into his arms, wrapping her limbs around him while he struggled to keep balanced in his state of shock. When she locked her legs together around him, Harry's balance gave way and they were sent toppling onto his desk, which gave a comfortable landing thanks to the absurd amount of paperwork across it. Ginny stayed on top of Harry while he lay trapped on the desk, and she reached her lips up to meet his, attacking him with furious kisses despite his attempts at moving away.

"You did it Harry, you did it!" Ginny beamed in between her kisses.

Harry managed to get some of his strength back, pulling himself - with Ginny still attached to him - up to sit on the desk rather than laying on it, and quickly grabbed his want to flick the door shut, fearing that any passersby might get the wrong impression of what was going on it there between them. He didn't even know what was going on between them, let alone having an explanation for others about it. Ginny stayed straddling Harry, her smile unchanging despite the complete horror and confusion Harry was showing in return.

"I don't mean to sound rude here Gin, but what in bloody Merlin's name are you on about?"

Ginny let out a small chuckle before she spoke cryptically, "Let's just say you aren't just holding your wife in your arms right now…"

Within seconds, Harry's mind pieced together all the bits of the puzzle. His eyes lit up like Christmas lights when he realised what his wife was implying. "A-are you…"

Ginny beamed at him and held the parchment up in front of his face. Squinting and drawing the paper closer to read it, Harry searched for the information he had been waiting on for years.

To Whom It May Concern,

This letter provides confirmation that Mrs Ginerva Potter attended our office on the morning of March 28th with concerns of prolonged illness. It was during this appointment that through the use of both a Pregnancy Detection charm and a Pregnancy Confirmation potion, we have concluded Mrs Potter is approximately 8 weeks pregnant and is consequently experiencing morning sickness. She has been advised to discontinue participating in her strenuous occupation as a professional Quidditch player until at least 3 months postpartum.

Harry stopped reading through the letter, looking up at his wife and breathing, "Ginny you're pregnant."

"Yes, and I have been for 8 weeks can you believe it?" Ginny nodded, if it were possible, her smile grew wider.

Harry stared at her for a moment with an indescribable look in his eyes. In that moment, Ginny began to worry that he wasn't pleased with the news like she had thought he would be. How could he not be though? For years, Harry had shown nothing but eagerness to have a child, but right now in this moment, he had never been harder to read. Ginny felt like hexing him just to get some sort of emotion out of him, and she was suddenly feeling very uneasy about the announcement. Still not showing any emotion other than shock, Harry stood up, still holding Ginny firmly in his arms, and flipped them around, lowering her onto the desk in one swift movement. When she was planted on the desk, Harry placed his hands on either side of her face, looking down at her with wide eyes.

"Already?" he breathed, the ghost of a smile began showing on his lips, and Ginny relaxed slightly as she noticed it.

Ginny nodded, "Pretty fast right?"

"I guess it's not like we weren't warned about that," Harry shrugged softly, remembering that Molly reminded them multiple times that they shouldn't try and have kids until they were really ready, because of the strong fertility in their genes.

"Yeah, but I thought after all these years being on the contraception potion it would take a few months at least. I mean, I just didn't really think it would happen this fast, did you? "

"No, not really."

Ginny forehead creased, still unsure of how Harry was feeling, "I-Is that okay?"

"Gin, it's… it's fantastic," Harry broke out into a wide smile and Ginny's heart fluttered with excitement as he showed the reaction she'd been waiting for. With a deep breath Harry sighed cheerfully, "After all these years, we're actually having a baby!"

"We sure are. Has the wait been worth it?"

Ginny had made Harry wait 2 years since he had first hinted at having children before they actually began trying. Before they were even married Harry had suggested they have a baby, and Ginny had refused the suggestion every time since. However, just 8 weeks before, Ginny had decided she was ready to transition from a famous quidditch player to a happy mother. Harry was so elated when Ginny finally agreed to start making babies with him and they wasted no time starting the conception attempts that had quickly resulted in this baby.

"Merlin Gin, I get to be a dad!" he smiled proudly, all the ideas and possibilities that came with raising a child were flowing freely through his mind before he turned to stare widely at his wife and announced, "We're going to be parents."

"I know," Ginny whispered excitedly as she considered the new title Harry and herself would now have.

"Do you know when you'll be due?"

She shook her head, "The exact date is not really confirmed yet, I only really received the confirmation and the amount of weeks today. The mediwitch didn't say much else, but from those calculations alone I should be due around the start of May."

"May, blimey it seems so close."

"Well there's still 7 months to prepare."

"So 8 weeks along?" Harry raised one of his brows inquisitively, "Didn't we only start trying 8 weeks ago?"

Ginny grinned, "That's right. It must've happened on one of the first tries, I'd say, although I lost count at the start there so I can't exactly pinpoint it."

"Well, that's some real magic right there isn't it?" his eyes sparkled with excitement.

"I don't know, I think I'd put it down to my being a Weasley more than anything else," Ginny smirked before breaking out into a genuine smile, "But yes, it's magical."

They stared at each other for a brief moment, both just completely enthralled by the news that they had to share. Ginny took this time to really appreciate the change of lifestyle she was about to endure with her husband. Their lives would now revolve around another person - their own person - and this fact could not be more exciting for the young couple. Also seeing how awestruck her husband was at the news - after so many years of non-stop discussion about starting a family - had Ginny feeling particularly pleased with her announcement.

Harry broke the comfortable silence by standing up between Ginny's legs at the end of the desk, a playful grin flaunting on his mouth as he suggested, "Do you remember the last time we were on this desk together?"

Ginny smirked as her mind flashed back to that spectacular evening, "Yes I do."

"Mmm," Harry mumbled, "Well, I think it's time for celebration."

"Really," Ginny narrowed her eyes, her smirk growing deeper, "well what do you have in mind?"

With a few flicks of his wand, Harry had the door locked, the curtains closed and the room guarded with a silencing charm, answering Ginny's question non-verbally. Still standing still between her parted legs, Harry began unbuckling his belt, his eyes hungry to take in her features as though he was seeing her in a completely new light then before.

As his trousers fell to the ground with the weight of his belt, Harry leant over his wife and his face lingered right above her own, his mouth holding itself in a seductive smirk.

"You'll see."
