(Periwinkle's P.O.V.) -in Germany, at a castle-

I took a careful look around the corner, taking a deep breath as I listened for the monster minion guard's footsteps. I am still nervous as this is my first mission ever since Abigail told me about the tyranny of Magnus and his monster minions when we first met back in England where she was saving me from a monster minion.

I was doing my frosting work as it was wintertime, and in all my life, I never imagined horrible things until the moment I laid eyes upon the first monster minion, and I saw the hunger, the rage in this monster as he roared at me when he saw me, chasing me and growling hungrily.

I was cornered, screaming for help, and then bam, Abigail actually kicked the monster in a private area where he actually squealed, fell, revealing Abby behind him with a silver staff, "Who knew monsters are still sensitive down there?", with a smirk.

I breathed out in relief, realizing that this human saved me, and I spoke, "Thank you for saving me!". Even if I talked, I knew she wouldn't understand me. "Ah, you're welcome, little friend. I am Abigail. What's yours?".

I blinked in surprise, and as to make sure I wasn't imagining it, "You understand me?". Abigail actually smiled, "Yep! Let's say I have a invention of translating foreign languages into my natural language. So, glad I came into time to stop this monster.".

The monster groaned, and Abigail looked at me, "You might want to close your eyes.". I closed them as I realized that she's serious, and I heard a scream of pain from the monster, instantly smelling blood. After a minute, I heard her voice again, "Okay, open them. He's gone.".

I opened them to see Abigail polishing off a part of her silver staff, and I didn't want to know what she did with the monster, and I spoke lightly, "I am Periwinkle. Family and friends call me Peri for short.".

Abigail grinned softly, "Great to meet you, Peri. You can call me Abby for short. Now, shall we get into my airship? Frollo's probably waiting for us, and don't worry, there's a explanation for those monsters and more.".

And so, I came to know about Magnus and his madness while I got to know Abby and Frollo, and now I am deep in a castle that is taken up by monster minions that was ordered to make chaos by Magnus who left to attack another castle or whatever he's planning to do.

I knew that Frollo is controlling the airship, and Abby is somewhere higher in the castle while I am trying to get to the dungeons where rumored survivors are supposed to be. I took another deep breath as I heard the guard walking off in the opposite direction, and I flew up to the ceiling, hiding among the rafters as I watched for any motion of the guard.

I smirked softly as I saw a slide latch on the door, and I pushed it just enough to let me through, and put a bit of pixie dust to bring it back properly so the guard outside wouldn't be suspicious. I continued flying, hiding among the rafters.

I smiled in victory as I saw humans in the cells, looking miserable and weary. I then heard the door open, and I dimmed my light immediately as soon as I saw the guard coming in. I heard anger and shouting, seeing a black-haired human male clutch his hands upon the bars.

"Get me free, you freak, and let's see how I, Gaston can fight you off!", snarled Gaston furiously, and I was a bit surprised when I saw him alone in that one cell. Is he trouble to the monster minions or is he trouble to the other humans?

Neither way, I kept my eye on them as the guard snarled softly at him, looking pissed off with a bit of pride, and Gaston's looking the same way. I scoffed under my breath. Men. They held the stare for a few long moments until the guard huffed, walking away with a bit of scare toward the other humans, and I peeked to see the door closing, waiting until the noise of footsteps faded.

I exhaled, and brightened up a little bit, spreading out amounts of pixie dust as I flew fast as a hawk, manipulating the inner machinations of the locks to open free, and the humans were stupefied and shocked as they walked out.

I saw a bragging, smug smile on that Gaston man as he guided the others out, "I told you we'd get out of there. That was a matter of time, rust weakening the locks.". I narrowed my eyes at him, strongly disliking him already, and as I followed them out the dungeon door, he didn't see the guard coming from behind, but I did.

I grew, changing to human size, sliding on the floor as I created frost, sweeping the monster guard off its feet, and I got up, grinning softly as I heard it snarl angrily, seeing me as it got up shakily, and I did a spin, aided by my wings, feeling my heel connect with the side of his face.

I instantly heard a crack as I saw him fall, the eyes rolling back as he couldn't handle the loss of the neck bones, and I fixed a strand of my hair behind my ears, looking ahead to the humans who stared at me including Gaston who looked enraged.

"I about had him, woman!", Gaston huffed angrily. "Oh, really? You didn't see him coming, but I did.", I retorted back with a smirk. He growled lowly, "This is why women shouldn't fight. You should leave the men, like me to it.".

I widened my eyes at that comment, and I narrowed my eyes as I suddenly flew, confronting him with a slap to the cheek. He shakily walked back, looking shocked, and I huffed at him, "You are a dumb brute, and didn't your mother teach you better than that, insulting someone, especially a woman who is meant to be helping out?!".

I turned around, barely noticing what he understood in that comment, and facing the others with a respectful bow and a sincere smile, "My lords and ladies, I am Periwinkle, and I am part of the rescue team who is intent on destroying the monsters and the one behind them. We have transportation outside the castle, and we must hurry, if you could please follow me.".

I shifted back to fairy size a minute later after the others agreed to follow me, and I was smug when I saw Gaston in the back, looking resigned and grumpy. He better not complain after this if I am gonna be pissed off, disrespecting me.
