This is just a short one shot because I finished season 2 and wanted more. No beta because I'm impulsive.

I didn't understand until I saw you.

There you are in your sun hat reading your books. I will find a way to make this work.

"Will?"I snap out of the fixation. Love's voice ringing through my head.

Love.

What will I do.

I love Love, but she's not you.

"Coming." My voice rings out turning from the fence to see her clear eyes shining back at me. Her hand rests on her protruding belly. Her smile falters slightly as I walk towards her. "What were you doing?" Quick. Think Joe. "Admiring the garden, I think a swing set is a good idea. We should get one of those for her." I accent this by touching her stomach and giving her a light kiss on the forehead. She can't know. Buy this lie Love. A smile back at me. God, do I wish I could see your smile. What's your eye colour? More importantly your name?

I follow Love into the house. Boxes scattered. I have to avoid her mother for the time being. "I'm going to unpack a bit upstairs." I head to the top floor not waiting for a response. I need to see you.

I rush to the back of the second floor and I find it. The window that leads me to you. Your sun hat obscures my view of your beautiful face. Your legs draped across the lounge chair with your notebook in your hands. I grab a box to unpack. Strangely enough the room I'm standing in is destined to be the library/ office I need for my collection. My gaze never leaves you as I pull items out one by one. You adjust yourself in the chair every so often. You bite the end of your pen in thought in that perfect way you do.

"Will!" A shout from downstairs. "Lunch is ready." I put what's in my hands down. I'll be back for you. "Coming."

We're settling into the new house. Love keeps tossing back and forth new design ideas for the babies' room. She's been ranting about colour schemes for days it feels like. Nesting she calls it. "Do you like the animal theme Joe?" In private away from the world my real name leaves her lips. My eyes snap up. "Animal theme is great." "See Sunrise said it might be tacky. Maybe there's something more personal." She's looking for an opinion. I'm staring at our bookshelf in the living room. I think back about Paco. "What about The Wizard of Oz? I loved it when I was younger." Love lights up. Hopping off the couch and crossing the room. "It's perfect!" She wraps her arms around me. "We can have blue plaid sheets like Dorothys' dress and we can have a scene of them skipping down the yellow brick road." She kisses me. I've appeased her, but I can't help thinking what would you taste like. The doorbell interrupts our kisses. "I'll get it." I walk over, open the door, and standing there is You.
