Garfield Logan A.K.A. Beast Boy sat alone on the rooftop of Titans Tower, looking out to Jump City in deep thought. It was one of those days where he enjoyed the peace and quiet, watching the city life go by as the skies grew darker.

The night sky was clear, the stars were plain to see, and today had only gotten better. His proposal to a certain empath was a total success, earning cheers from his close friends and the new Teen Titans that have recently formed. After throwing a small celebration party for both the new recruits, and Beast Boy's engagement with Raven, the green shapeshifter had never felt so happy before.

Depression has no cure, as the changeling had endured countless battles that pushed him over the edge. From the day his parents tragically died, to the day Terra had ultimately decieved the Titans from the start. Sure she survived her supposed sacrfice, but she was a Judas no less. Terra was just as much as a victim, as she was a traitor, and her rejecting of Beast Boy was the final act of severing her ties with the Titans.

Looking back, Garfield Logan was falling apart after everything he went through. Were it not for his friends, there was no telling if he would swiftly end it all.

When all seemed lost in darkness, there came a small light within. Each day, the light grew brighter and brighter, guiding him through the hardships, the uphill battle in his head became less steep, and the road ahead was more clearer than before. At first, he didn't want to believe that the light that showed him the way would be none other than one of his closest friends, now his fiancè.

He was happy that he was wrong not to believe in her. With time, they understood each other. Yes they may not seem to have alot in common on the outside, but they were more than alike deep inside. Both had dealt with heartache, both had experienced losing someone important to them. When all seemed lost, it was Raven who pulled him out of the darkness.

As he stared into the starry skies, he felt a familiar presence behind him. She looked at the relaxing changeling with pride, moving to sit alongside him. Not a single word was spoken, for there was no need to break the comfortable silence between them. Raven shifted closer to him, resting her head on his broad shoulders, still staring into the stars above.

"Raven. . ." Gar whispered, turning his head to her.

"Yes?" She answered, looking into his emerald eyes with affection.

"I love you." He planted a kiss on her gem, wrapping his arm around her waist with care.

"I love you too Gar." She responded quietly, kissing him on his soft lips.

They continued to cuddle into each other, content with watching the night sky.

Raven and Beast Boy were finally home.
