Cereza. The Left Eye. Daughter of Rosa, an Umbra witch and Balder, a Lumen Sage.

She treasured this name from memories of good times. She missed so much in her life. Those five hundred years buried under a lake not knowing what will happen when you wake up is scary. Cereza was afraid of what can happen to her when she did.

She didn't expect to lose her memory. She spent twenty years trying to find anything related to her past and found nothing. That is until Jeanne showed up.

Although she was being fooled by Balder and the Eyes of the World, she was able to break out and save Cereza from being part of destroying the world without her consent.

Years have passed since her battle with Jubelius and Cereza still feels the lingering fear of death.

Cereza has never thought of death since her mother died. She made a promise to Rosa that she will never be afraid again. She can't be afraid in her line of work. Not after the battles with angels that were thirty percent stronger than her but she prevailed.

Cereza had to remind herself she isn't alone. Jeanne, Rodin, Loki, Enzo, and her newly husband, Luka.

Ah yes the marriage of a couple that no one was able to see. Sort of. Okay not likely because of the whole age gap not that anyone cares. Cereza didn't care. It was for the love and affection she has for Luka.

Luka felt the same way. He filled the fear that was in Cereza's heart. She didn't feel like she had to hide from him. Luka is her lifeline. More than a lifeline. He's the love of her life. Cereza never knew she would fall for anyone like this.

In a whole new light, Cereza felt at peace. Her whole life she's finally relaxed. Being an angel slayer was fun but she wouldn't put it on her bucket list.

She wouldn't call this retirement but she can say it's a big break. A nice, cozy home in the outskirts of Vigrid. It's a very good relaxation spot for Luka and Cereza to be normal.

Cereza wanted to blend into society. Although she has wisdom and experience far beyond the current timeline, it's nice to have a normal conversation with someone that did not involve Eyes of the World.

Nighttime is Cereza's favourite part of her day. A riverbed is close to their home and she can see the river sparkle. The stars are especially bright but too bright to scorch the earth.

Cereza and Luka would sit on their bench and stare at the starry night sky. Nights like these remind them of love. A love that comes alive in the nighttime. A new life that is filled with happiness and peace.

Cereza would play her favourite song that she likes to sing to. Luka likes listening to her sing any chance he can get. Cereza rarely sings around him but when she does, he treats it like a birthday present.

Cereza placed the CD in the radio and pressed play. She laced her fingers with Luka's and turned her head to him to sing the words to him.

"Moon river, wider than a mile

I'm crossing you in style some day

Oh, dream maker, you heart breaker

Wherever you're goin', I'm goin' your way

Two drifters, off to see the world

There's such a lot of world to see

We're after the same rainbow's end, waitin' 'round the bend

My huckleberry friend, moon river, and me."
