Chapter 11: Galvatron Rises

Joshua and Su arrive at the KSI Chinese Facility as they see Galvatron loading from the plane into a large truck.

"Welcome to China." A KSI technician spoke

"Put Galvatron in containment. Tell the techs do not activate him." Joshua ordered.

"Absolutely, sir." The greeter replied.

"I want security on high alert." SU spoke.

Inside the factory, Joshua meets up with Attinger and Savoy.

"Joyce. I cannot tell you how enthused I am to deliver this." Harold said before showing Joshua the Seed. "Top of your alien wish list. It's yours, or rather ours. I will need to see my advance. Five million shares of the company. Together, we're gonna end human warfare. We're about to build a fully automated U.S. Army. Just think of all the American lives we're gonna save."

On the KSI factory floor, a display is shown where Galvatron and other cars are shown.

"All of these cars are KSI's newest civilian prototype robots." A KSI Factory Executive said.

Little do they knew, that Galvatron is preparing to unleash havoc.

Back with Attinger and Joshua...

"So how soon until we can start continuous production?" Harold asks Joshua.

Joshua hesitates a moment before replying, "You know, why don't we take a beat on this for a minute? I have some new data that I discovered and..."

"You're not backing out on me here?" Harold turned to him.

"No, I'm not backing out. I just...I want the Seed. I'm not saying I don't want the Seed, I'm just saying I don't know if I...if I want the Seed right now." Joshua said.

"Good men have died trying to get that thing for us, for you." Harold replied.

"I know what you did to get that thing. A lot of illegal, icky shit. I can take you down, too, Mr. Black Ops. Don't you threaten me. I started this company when I was a boy, with a dream of making the world a better place."

"Funny, I had the same dream. Somewhere along the way, you made billions of dollars. So why don't you tell me what's missing from my dream? Why don't you tell me what's missing from my boyhood dream?" Suddenly Harold pushes Joshua up against the wall by this throat threating him, "I have served my country for decades of unparalleled prosperity and you are my golden parachute. So you are damn well jumping out of the plane with me!"

Back on the KSI factory floor, Galvatron rise from his slumber and breaks himself free. The KSI engineers panic and run for their lives.

"I am Galvatron!" Galvatron declared.

One of the factory workers warns Su via the security camera as Galvatron starts causing chaos. Just then Joshua walks into Su's office.

"What's going on?" Joshua asks.

"Your Galvatron has gone active. What haven't you been telling me?" Su said.

"Find Darcy, and bring a car around downstairs, quietly." Joshua said. He goes back to Attinger and Savoy. "We got a factory emergency, I have to get you out of here."

"What the hell's going on?" Harold demanded.

Josh escorts Attinger and Savoy to the elevator.

Joshua-"Take them outside."

Harold-"We had a deal, you got what you wanted."

Joshua-"I got what "it" wanted."

In the factory, Galvatron cause destruction. He connects to the machines and begins infecting the prototypes around him.

"My brothers, today I grant you your freedom. And from now on, you are commanded by me. Rise up! Go find my Seed!" He shouted. The prototypes start transforming to do his bidding. They search for the Seed to detonate it. "Detonate the Seed in the largest city."

At the same time Joshua takes the Seed and runs outside to meet with Darcy.

"Listen, princess, I don't wanna hear, "I told you so," but this is much more dangerous than I think." Joshua said.

"Get in." Darcy said.

They get inside the car and the Prototypes begin destroying the factory.

"Galvatron's hacked into the others." Su alerted as the people scrambled.

As Joshua tries to escape, Attinger starts banging on the passenger window where Joshua sat.

"What?" Joshua said.

"Joshua! You have to contain this!" Harold spoke.

"Drive, drive!" Joshua said to the driver. The car starts taking off leaving Attinger.

"Son of a...! Come on. Let's move, let's move, let's move!" Harold said as Galvatron emerges from the burnt factory.

"I know how to lose them in Hong Kong. I know a military garrison there that will help us." Su said.

"Threatening a professional CIA killer, possibly not my finest hour. I'd like to have that one back." Joshua said.

"Killer? I thought they were your friends!" Darcy argued.

"No, not friends, business. They gave me this bomb." Joshua said. He points to the Seed which is in fact a bomb.

"Bomb?" Su asked.

"Oh!" Darcy exclaimed.

"Is there a bomb in the bag?" Su said.

"Yes, there's a bomb in the bag." Darcy said grimly.

"Shit." SU said.

That's right. Inside the bag was in fact a bomb. A bomb that can turn organic life into elemental metal.

Meanwhile in the spaceship on route to China, the Allies are preparing to find the Seed. Tessa, Cade, Jason, and Manjusha are looking at the front window viewing the country. Jane and Cade are sitting near Optimus.

"When you said you were done fighting for humans, you didn't mean that, did you?" Cade asks Prime.

"How many more of my kind must be sacrificed to atone for your mistakes?" Optimus questioned.

"Well, what do you think being human means? That's what we do," Cade replied, "We make mistakes. But sometimes out of those mistakes come the most amazing things. When I fixed you, it was for a reward. That was it, which was why. For money. And it was me making a mistake. Without it, you wouldn't be here. So even if you got no faith in us, I'm asking you to do what I do. I'm asking you to look at all the junk and see the treasure. You gotta have faith, Prime, in who we can be."

"I know I will, Cade even for my family." Cade said.

"Me and my team always have faith, Cade. Even my father when he died. I never give up." Jane said. "When I first found Prime, I knew that I would vow to protect him as he protects me. Now that Jason is in the picture, we will protect our only child."

"And I will protect my daughter." Cade said.

Jane smiles before looking at Optimus who smiled a bit. They are willing to stop Galvatron and retrieved the Seed at all costs.

I know this chapter is short but I'm glad this story is almost over...
